That’s exactly my point , NOTHING is stopping them from disconnecting immediately when the survivors first enter the lobby with an item , I’ve saw some disconnect right at the beginning but majority will play the game out instead of deranking once the game starts because the only reason they dodge is for easy rank up and easy bloodpoints .Terratoast said:@OrionsFury4789 said:
No because the only reason survivors do that is to keep from getting dodged it’s sad that killers can’t play against items majority of the time and just flat out leave if any flashlights enter the lobby , why are people like this even playing if they can’t handle intended features?I can only speak for my own actions, but I never dodge regardless of which items survivors bring. If a killer was so intent on not being there when a flashlight is brought, what is stopping them from disconnecting immediately?
-
And what about the ones who simply just leave for any item? You don’t find that cheesy? , I don’t blame them a bit when you’ve been dodged 10 times in a row and that’s the only way to get a game and bring an item if that’s what you want, I’m just pointing out that if a survivor wants to bring an intended item into the game they can’t majority of the time so that’s the only way they can truly get use out of the items they spent bloodpoints for unless you punish the lobby dodgers, the killer shouldn’t be allowed to dictate who they face or what type of game they are about to have by cherry picking noobs with low trophies and no items.powerbats said:I've always said it's should be a 10-15 second lockout timer after which no swapping is allowed so that gives the killer 5-10 seconds depending on which timer is used to choose.
The survivors get locked in and can't last second swap to brighter clothes/ all P3, items etc the killer has time to adjust if they need to. This way lobby dodging by killers because someone on the survivor side want so be cheesy is reduced.
Lobby times go smoother, everyone knows there's no hanky panky going to happen games start=profit.
-
Yea but have you ever taken into account those people want to just play a game with items and have fun? Sure you may be a good killer and don’t mind the 4 flashlights and that’s awesome I wish everyone was that way but a lot of those people start to last second switch after they’ve tried multiple times to bring the item in normally and get dodged , we need time bans for lobby dodging and then we can talk about locking survivors in for 15 seconds earlier than the killer, so the killer can adjust accordinglyDwightsLifeMatters said:I don't like the part about seeing perks, but I wouldn't mind to see survivors getting locked 5 seconds earlier. I mean, most of the time "toxic" survivors are switching to a flashlight. Now, flashlights aren't that strong anymore as they used to be. So personally don't mind to see 4 flashlights, I can deal with that easily.
At the same time, last second switchers are giving me a valid reason to tunnel the ######### out of them lol -

The killer is suppose to know which survivors and which items are being brought.
So the only thing that needs to be done is something to prevent the survivor last-second item switch that sometimes happens.

And we know it to be true, since a long time ago survivor discovered that they could see who was the killer throught steam recently played with user and people where literally getting dodged for having nurses related achievment.
But for some reason when the dev decided to fix this they did a 360 turn and added the name of the survivor the killer was against as well as a direct link to their profile in the lobby for some unknow reason.Killers have always been able to see Survivors' names in the lobby. It was never removed because Killers do not abuse this nearly as much as Survivors did.
No
Not in the lobby atleast.
Hell even survivor didn't see other survivor username either until the game started or if they used the chat
Wrong. Killers could always see them. It was only Survivors that got the ability to do so later on.

my strategy is to tag one person with frenzy and try to either hit another or go to the nearest gen then restart pursuit with the first and with m&a they are still bleeding out even if you’re technically still close behind so when their timer is low just frenzy again and down them. It’s a cheesy way to play and not the most fun way but if you want to consistently get kills with him that’s a strategy I would recommend with his design it takes zero skill to win that way -
I always use aura reading perks as a survivor , in fact I have different builds with different reasons for using them like bond instead of self care, or flashlights/insta heals with empathy etc... but I feel as if bond and empathy can be used effectively even with swf because voice coms and your buddy trying to direct you on those maps aren’t near as effective as having the glowing visuals to see for yourself if the killer is coming/where he’s at, or if you’re fresh out of a chase after losing the killer and see someone right there on a gen so don’t even have to use coms to heal and work together or know when to saveOrion said:I'm sure we've all heard complaints about Killers using aura-reading perks. Usually the complaints revolve around said perks being "overpowered", sometimes even "wallhacks".
However, there's one question that nobody who complains about this has answered yet: If aura reading is so powerful, why don't Survivors use their aura-reading perks?Discuss.

This makes Legion look bad, very bad in fact in terms of design.Survivors can't get away from him. I know others have reccomended this strategy on these forums. I tried it myself with success. You can't afford to run away but legion never stops long enough to let you mend.
I see now why they had the timer pause on the ptb while you were mending. That was so you had a fair chance to defend yourself.
Then everyone complained he waa too weak which he does feel at times so now we get this.
What a nightmarish convulted design.
This is what we are trying to say but people already made their mind up already. They don't even listen.
He is bad at the same time really good. It is astounding what devs can achieve.
He needs a rework.
In 2019 we will be talking about a Legion rework the same way we talk abour a Freddy rework. I can see that.
Right now everyone is calling for a buff because they're trying to attack people at 110% speed which really does make him feel useless.
Once more people figure out how to cheese the system and bring perks like bloodhoud and stridor it's going to be awful facing him.
After Curtain Call and Shattered Bloodline this is a real disappointment. -
Nope, they won’t even fix the medkit bug or acknowledge it for that matter even if they’re tagged in the post so it wouldn’t surprise me if they just left things the way they are with having to re invite every single time , I mean they’ve also been leading killers with all these false hopes of plans that they never follow through with for two years now. They don’t care about convenience or fun unless the money stops coming in and the reviews bomb start. The only time I’ve ever seen them give in to demands was when players went on strike or they review bombed.
-
Monitor and abuse is golden on legion

This along with a flurry of glitches including gliding survivors, survivors still standing after being downed , the mend button not even appearing , flashlights clicking out of control when you try to use one sometimes making it unusable etc... something serious happened with this last update that broke the game

Honestly survivors can never be properly nerfed without nerfing top tier killers a tiny bit , I have this opinion because you have to think that even with the strongest add ons there has to be a way to survive it in order for there to be balance, so here we have these few top tier killers the survivors are balanced around and then everything below them that doesn’t come up to par , people using top tier killers correctly won easily every game while the others using low- mid tier are lucky to get a 3k vs competent survivorsThe_Crusader said:Sounds like Nurse needs a nerf. -

KingB said:I just think to stop regressing the gen the survivor should have to work on it an equivalent time to how long the killer took to damage it. What does everyone else think about a change like this?
Actually, the survivor should have to go through a 5 second animation of fixing the damaged generator. After they fixed the damaged generator, they can start repairing at whatever they left off at depending on the regression. This will help out with the, I repaired 0.00000000000001% of the generator so I fixed it during chases.
How would this work with Overcharge though? Would you receive the skill check during or after the gen has been fixed and you've resumed normal repairs?
I actually like the idea of having to fix a regressed generator before starting the actual repairs. Currently, you just repair a generator to stop a regressing generator but having to go through a repair animation can make kicking generators more rewarding.
rough example: Cruise ship map
you would repair all 5 generators to drop down the emergency doors with a life raft and as soon as you get in the life raft and push one button the animation of you rowing away happens so you’re not creating extra game mechanics by the boat actually driven but giving new map concept with a new escape concept same deal, activate doors walk to boat push one button escape , so the only real thing they would have to divulge into to get right would be the textures on the map and the water at the end -

This would be a nerf to NOED believe it or not because 4 survivors would immediately cleanse a totem at the start and get the last one when they saw it and NOED wouldn’t happen anymore if it was as simple as just getting one totem to save yourselfya know?
I would like like to see NOED have a Hope style effect with a timer on exposure and speed and have the totem be a package with it and if you don’t get the totem or leave before the timer is out on the effect then you can be mori’d
Also while we’re at it if there’s only one survivor left and you down them you should be able to mori because the hook animation is boring at the endgame and it gives it a better feel -
You still can blind her during phasing but it’s not the best strategy by any means , however I never knew you could blind the husk? Hmm interestingTsulan said:It was possible to blind her husk. But that was unplayable. That's why they had to change it. -
No just do a regular swing with no lunge, just kinda lean back and tap the hit button and usually the auto aim kicks in for me and will Hit a survivor. The problem most people have is they full on lunge at the survivors and bite too hard when they look open for a hit.ConsoleNurse said:
You can't flick analog when they 360.Thats why console needs auto aimMegaWaffle said:@ConsoleNurse said:
Why devs don't listen us? We always share console problems on every forum but devs don't answer our question. They will fix frame rate on december at least but we have a few major problems too.
1 - killer sensivity : It is too low we need very high sensitivity, thats why huntress and nurse are worst killers on console(unplayable killers on rank 1)
2 - Pig's grab problem : Right now pig can not hatch grab or pallet grab. She is doing animation but it is bugging her and survivor still escape.
3 - Input delay - Dedicated servers please
4 - Auto aim for nurse - we really need thatI disagree with 4 because we use to have auto-aim and I hated it. So many times as a survivor rounded a corner auto-aim would wrestle control from me and I'd hit the wall. Since it was taken away I can now move and aim correctly...assuming fps is being kind...

@Tsulan is right there are survivors who will hide in and out of lockers after the gates are open. As for the ones who come out to troll or stay at the gate, that’s easy to deal with as a killer just hit them out and if they don’t leave kill them.Tsulan said:

Taking the gane hostage nornally means killers bodyblocking survivors in the basement. That's a situation where those players can't do anything other than disconnect.Orion said:@The_Crusader said:
I'm curious how survivors manage to "take the game hostage" without cheating i.e. getting into places the killer can't reach.I mean if you're just crouching around the map or waiting at the exit gates you're not doing anything the killer can't sort out.
I'm curious how you think pretending not to know helps your case in any way. You're still the bad guy for taking the game hostage.
If the survivors are waiting at the exit the killer can easily do something about it. Just walk up and hit them, then they flee. Takes 30 seconds of their time most are just too proud to do it.
So again tell me how survivors can hold the game hostage without cheating? Because off the top of my head I can't think of anything.
Hide whenever you hear the heartbeat? -
Well if you don’t want to play killer then don’t but being at the exit isn’t holding the game hostage unlike hiding in and out of lockers all over the map, if they’re at the exit absolutely hit them out but hiding everywhere to be a troll is BS and something that should be dealt withredsopine01 said:Your saying about chasing them out but what if a killer don't want to be a performing monkey for you guys and won't chase you out do you leave or refuse unless you teabag them and they watch you leave -
It’s not a reliance on add ons but one that would provide a more jump scare style of play if you didn’t hear him coming on a gen , something that might play well with monitor and abuseDarkWo1f997 said:I don’t think he should have a reliance on add ons. His ability needs to charge quick, and tracking different targets should be better incentivized by only showing scratch marks of survivors who haven’t yet been hit during your frenzy. Making his playstyle more accessible and more comfortable to play. -
