Legion is "designed" as an anti chase killer.
The moonwalk exploit is the only way he's viable and it has no decent counter. Survivors will either be downed from deep wounds or forced to mend and be downed regardless, the Devs need to rework his power asap. If players have to walk backwards in order to down a survivor then Legion suffers from flawed design.

I watched him gameplays and he mostly face potato survivors. I'm at rank 1 and survivors treat the legion as a joke. Sure it happens to get a team of random potatoes, but my experience tells me he is not a threat at all to competent survivors.
he applies pressure, not every killer is meant to just chase survivors.
tru3 gets 4ks with every killer, even freddy. you cant bring up a person as an argument who literally does nothing else but playing DbD all day...

on the other hand, due to the fact that players like TydeTyme dont play 24/7 anymore, their opinion hits the fanbase better, as they are closer to them on a skill scala.
and i still think TydeTymes opinion of this game is pretty accurate. besides his hag placement in the tier list, i havent seen much i disagree with in his videos...
Also, ur a but illogical to take an opinion of someone who doesn't have a clue (tydetime) over someone who is more skillfully.

he is an amazing player, hands down. Majority of players aren't as god as him. he can make nay killer seem good, he even got a 4K with fat Myers when most players might be luck to get 1. Player skill ≠ killer viability.

To be fair, the survivors in his video did manage to get 4 gens. And the Bill gave up in 2 chases and kept getting found which hurt them. David also use Deliverance when Scott was relatively close, then ran right past him almost. His points were that 1) this is the ONLY effective way to play Legion, 2) there is no counterplay, and 3) Legion is not fun to play/play against. 1 is absolutely false, just by watching TrueTalent you can see there are other equally/more effective tactics with Legion. 2 is likely false, the killer JUST came out so obviously there will be a learning curve for survivors to figure out what to do against him. Like I said in a comment under his video, when Pig came out everyone said the counter to her would be to 99% gens. But today that is not at all the case. Survivors just finish the gen anyway then remove the trap. Just like any other human on the planet, Scott can't predict what the future will bring. And you can't reliably come up with the most effective strategy in 2 days. You just can't, IDC how good of a killer you are or how many hours you have. 2 days is NOT enough time to make that call. Just like it's not enough time to make the call that such a strategy has "no counterplay". Maybe now, but I highly doubt that to be the case in 2 months. "Oh if you're so smart Fox what's the counter play then?" Dude IDK, it's been 2 days. I don't have an answer there but I know that people WILL find a way to counter these tactics. I've been around competitive gaming long enough to know that the first tactics to show up are not actually the best tactics, and by no means are they unbeatable. Those sorts of things come later, after people dig into the game. Then we get to 3, which is just like, his opinion man. Fun is subjective, again I point to True as evidence that Legion is fun for some people. Regardless of how powerful True thinks Legion is, he says every video he has fun with him. Does that mean everyone has fun with/against him? No, it just means you can point to the extremes and say "this is the case for all".
I watch Trus vids all the time. Im not saying Legion is strong or weak, his power is designed to end chases one way or the other by leaving a survivor hit with deep wounds to get another or tunneling them with deep wounds. This is problematic for both survivor and killer because it shuts down the fun aspect of this game which is hiding and chasing. In this regard he's actually superior to Clown since he can apply pressure quickly to one or two other survivors and go back to focusing one while the others are mending. This also forces survivors to stop all benevolent actions and just focus on gens in a wounded state since healing is pointless.
