I think this post is just a tad bit of an overreaction. I think salty tryhards in general can ruin matches for anyone. But to say they’ve ruined the game? I have to kindly disagree with you there. -
What was it prior?

Playing on the Xbox One X. 60fps at all times. Unless I’m frenzy hitting with legion lol.AntiJelly said:Is there going to be a separate patch coming out before the end of December as the "Optimization Patch"? I've been waiting a long time for it, since I play on console. Playing killer is nice and all, but playing killer with over 30 fps? That's NICE! Just wondering.
EDIT2:
The Answer, so far? It's not coming. We'll be seeing it in chunks, I assume. -
But you kinda can catch back up and hit them again and again. Which is fine, I think its balanced because there’s no scratch marks but so far I’ve just found it less stressful to play killer overall by doing this.azazer said:

Because most 115 killers have to earn 2 hits on survivors by catching them off guard or outplaying them.Legion is fast and can vault palletz, his first hit is basically free. He can run around and injure people very fast. Some don't heal against him.
If he was 115 he would immediately be top tier.
And the idea of a top-tier Killer is apparently horrifying to some people. God forbid high ranks have some variety.

He can though. It’s really easy to catch back up to them and hit them three times with frenzy.azazer said:

I have no problems keeping track of survivors while in frenzy. Rarely do I lose them. He is hard to play in that regard but it makes you a much better player.George_Soros said:Scratch marks are not visible during Frenzy. What's worse, I think the correct way to put it is that during Frenzy survivors don't leave scratch marks. This means even after Frenzy ended, there are no scratch marks on the path of a running survivor. You'll only be able to see scratch marks that appeared AFTER ending Frenzy.
This gives a very strong counterplay against Legion, especially considering that they tend to look for another victim after hitting one while in Frenzy. Basically, they lose sight of you, they lose you.
I think this will also make some tracking perks useful on him: I suspect Bloodhound, Stridor, maybe Whispers will be used more frequently.

1 hour 30 minutes. Don’t ask. It was a painful stubborn competition.
-
That means you can just follow him around and ignore the effect entirely.

Totally agree with the civility issue. A troll baited me into responding to his passive aggressive comment. Im on an alternate account now. Not saying I wasn’t somewhat in the wrong, but it just sucks that there is so much hostility.thesuicidefox said:Yes they do a good job and it's disappointing to see people completely ignore civility and respect towards a fellow human being. If you have issues with the game, present them in a constructive manner. Some of the things I've read people say (about this game or any other) makes me lose hope in humanity.
Truth be told, DBD is an amazing game. Yes that are problems, but this is normal for literally every game ever made. Newsflash, people aren't perfect. You can't expect them to hit it out of the park every time. Stop expecting perfection from imperfect creatures.
I really hope the community improves soon. -
I don’t think it’s a good idea to try and devalue other people’s opinions, I don’t mean to make you sound like a bad person, that’s not my intent, but I’ll kindly disagree with you there. However I know they want what they think is best for the game, but to be so aggressive like that. It’s what I call “Destructive Criticism”. Yes we want it to get better, but there’s a better way to do it than to call their design ethic “crap” and antagonize the team.MasonHugsCats said:Those fans who play this game every day and say it's perfect aren't true fans. The people willing to criticise it so it gets better are true fans. Though some people are to quick to judge most feedback has good intent behind it.
I think it would be more engaging and motivating to be polite with feedback, which would help devs in any team be more productive and have better morale.
Aknowledging the positive is important, otherwise it’ll only have a negative impact of some sort.
But there are individuals who for some reason, feel they need to be condescending all the time to other people, and it’s causing issues with derailing and flaming.
I hope this whole ordeal gets better soon. -
Havent de-pipped once with him. He’s a bloodpoints factory and is really relaxing to play. I haven’t stressed once or had anxiety of any kind.
Truly an accomplishment if you ask me. I love him. -
I agree. I don’t mean to put people in a niche or discredit anyone but I have been playing after a whole month of absence since his release and I simply have none of the issues that everyone else is having.megdonalds said:@HarshOnion44 said:
I think no one has figured out how to use him efficiently yet.Nailed it. It's always easier to whine and complain about things instead of adapting and learning or just accepting. There are people who just have fun playing the game and there are the reappearing forum whiners who don't know why they even play the game at all.
-
I just frenzy them all to death.
-
I’m so glad to hear that. Thank you for your time.not_Queen said:Thanks for your good words I am sure a lot of people on our team appreciate it! Don't you worry, I make sure that the tone / feedback is neutral when it gets to the dev team.
Fans that disagree with our decision is something that will always exist and is healthy to the game, we are lucky to have such a passionate community!

I was a rank 1 pig before. I’m about to be a rank 1 legion now. I guess not every killer is easy to play for many. This is an accessibility issue more than a balancing one in my opinion.Navydivea said:"We don't design Killers to be viable, we design them to be fun" And there is the heart of the problem. What IS fun? In order to base your entire design scheme around it, it must have a objective definition right?
Except it doesn't. Because fun is subjective, not objective. Which means Behavior is ramming what THEY think is fun down our throats.
"Not every Killers will be viable at rank 1." Ya think? Nurse, Hillbilly, and arguably Myers are playable at rank 1 and actually WIN. And what about rank 1 killers? Because of your design ethic they can't enjoy the full line of killers. They are stuck with less than a handful to actually be successful and not be tea bagged every step of the game.
What about players like me who don't enjoy Nurse or Billy that much? Am I doomed to be stuck mid rank because I enjoy lower tier Killers like Trapper but can't be successful because he's weak?
In the end there is one thing that 99% of gamers find objectively fun. Winning. So if we have to slug through a stressful game and not even have the chance at that....what's the point?
-
I haven’t lost a single game with him. Went from rank 12 to rank 3. Really love him and am enjoying him so far.
-
I am worried they are going to nerf the recharge duration honestly.The_Crusader said:@Arsoul said:
Since it's a NEW killer, perhaps a little patience is in order so BHVR can watch and then make changes...!!!!True but he needs changes asap.
His frenzy duration/recharge needs a huge buff, right now Sprint Burst is killing him.
-
I like him too. He’s fun.
-
Currently on Xbox one x. Suffering framerate stutter while hitting survivors during frenzy. That’s it really. Everything else feels overall improved here. Sure there’s the ice skating survivors bug but it’s not game breaking.
-
I suppose you’re right. Just wish people would stop crying about me hitting them till they are at about 25% bar, then sitting back and waiting for the bar to go down, follow the scratch marks, then down as they try to mend.The_Crusader said:Because most 115 killers have to earn 2 hits on survivors by catching them off guard or outplaying them.

Waiting a few seconds for the bar to recharge to gain that speed wouldn't change much.
Im apparently Tunneling. But it’s how he is meant to be played, right? -
I think the timer for deep wounds should tick down 3 seconds after line of sight is broken. Not 5. It adds another five seconds to his timer so it feels a little lacking.
Stun should stay, I like that he requires skill to use, I would like to keep it that way. He just needs a little more threat on his ability and I think he’ll be fine.
