@Orion Corrupted purge being reset upon stun is intended, confirmed by a dev, it should be somewhere here on the forums
Pallet stun. It's being reset on every stun (DS, HO, and, I'm guessing, wiggle out).

So what exactly is the problem with spirit? Haven't been keeping up as much as I used too. But rin is my absolute fav. Already dealt with with no audio back in January
Well, you could read the OP, it's all right there in plain English.

It's not just pallet stun it's any stun. DS, Head On, wiggle free they all reset her power bar. I think the only other killer with a power meter is Legion so someone should test if it happens to them too.
Corrupted Purge is also reset. This had better be a bug.
-
Absolutely not. She was slowed while charging and that was enough, because you had to know when to charge her power and when not to charge her power. Now it doesn't matter, and she's even weaker to looping than before.
-
Apparently I just met a bunch of people who all like to watch my stream. They informed me they'd never watch it again because I camped (while they followed me to the hook, tried to flashlight, bodyblocked, etc.). Please disregard the fact that I haven't streamed in months due to adverse real-life conditions.
I mean, if you're going to lie, at least come up with a decent lie.

Sure but I'm just saying a perk could have 15 nerfs and if they're all miniscule it might not add up to 1 giant nerf.
Like Self-Care, if Self-Care had had many nerfs.

You can't measure the difference in number of nerfs. That's meaningless.
NOED can be disabled before it activates, which is doable if the survivors do all their objectives.

We got new ds'es planned.
I gathered as much, but what's Mettle of Man supposed to actually do?
EDIT: I just saw it and will express my outrage after I've puked my feelings away.

I was at a doctor's appointment all afternoon, what's going on here?

Incorrect, auto-aim removal was a buff, and she can now blink on the spot, with numerous map fixes for her ontop of that.
Aim assist was removed from all killers, and it was something survivors demanded because they mistakenly believed that nearly every hit they ever received was due to the imaginary auto-aim (in reality, aim assist).
I'm fairly certain she was always able to shorten her blinks by looking down, but I'm not 100% sure.
Bug fixes are not buffs, they're bug fixes.

Maybe Nurse as well? I've been trying to play Nurse lately but it's difficult on PS4
I don't usually play the Nurse, but I run a slugging build. Body blocking isn't an issue there.

I agree, devs have this problem that when they introduce something that hinders one side, even though they promise to make necessary changes for the same side or the opposite, they don't. If today billy or nurse gets nerfed in order to implement secondary objectives, it is gonna take 1 year for them to do that. In that time frame, killers will have to suck a d...
The best example is the tinkerer nerf. They promised that they would alter some of the killer's base charges etc. but we still don't have anything. Especially already weak killers like leatherface got hit pretty hard.
And before I forget, base Nurse is still fine. If I, as a mediocre survivor, can juke deranking Nurses, then better survivors can do it too.
-
I removed the 110% bit from the title so people focus on the build itself.
-
I mainly use the shrine for BP. This build only occurred to me today.
-
@Delfador said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/371971#Comment_371971
It kinda does.
We can introduce secondary objectives for leatherface and it will benefit him but when we introduce the secondary objective, it will also benefit nurse.
Against a competent nurse, it is already difficult to repair 5 generators and she can prevent gen rush. Any additional objective will break her.
Even so, both things can be introduced simultaneously, as opposed to shafting killers for god knows how many months before introducing the nerfs that justify said shafting.
-
@The_Crusader said:
Bait post?
I'm sure you know that you're not meant to go that route with 110% speed killers. Huntress doesn't play like that, Hag doesn't play like that, Spirit is all about fooling the survivors to get the hit in, only you-know-who is 110% speed and might benefit from an anti-loop playstyle.
But you knew this already, so now I'm curious why you're posting this lol
Not bait. Why do you call everything you disagree with "bait"? If you don't like the 110% bit, then ignore it and just focus on the "anti-looping" bit.

If you try it before me and have success with it let me know. It is interesting build.
I'll need to unlock Bamboozle and Brutal Strength for all killers first. Someone else who has them unlocked might be able and willing to test it.

You just gave me a powerful weapon๐
I'll use it wisely
Mad Grit is especially amazing against body blockers because you get free hits while the person on your shoulder is unable to increase the wiggle meter. It's particularly good with 110% killers because those are the ones survivors try to body block the most, in my experience.
-
I get it, you're worried you won't be able to slow down generators, but my thinking is, if you win chases in the time the devs want you to win them, you won't need to.

Except I'm not a survivor at all as anybody who knows me will attest. It's like 20/80, I'm mostly pissed because I think she's partly a reason why survivors don't get nerfed way more.
That's absurd. One has nothing to do with the other.
-
If you do it before the pick-up animation ends, it won't work.
-
That about sums it up.
-
@LCGaster said:
I really like Save The Best For Last, smack them and continue the chase almost immediately
Really good with Mad Grit if you suspect they're gonna try to bodyblock and Franklin's Demise for shits and giggles.
-
@Bongbingbing said:
Probably not intentional but The two animations wont play at the same time so it switches to the last one triggered, since the pallet stun is effected by enduring and the frenzy isn't, this is the result.
Simple solution: have Enduring apply to Feral Frenzy.
Before anyone gets triggered, this here is what we call a "joke".

"9 times out of 10" is a likely sign that you're doing something wrong.
That's what I tried to tell them, but they're adamant they're doing everything right and that it's the game's fault.

Thank you. It was completely unintentional, but I'm glad Peasant took that screenshot when he did.

That's simply due to the timezone difference. In reality, it comes out simultaneously (or at least it's intended to come out simultaneously).

Sure, blame it on the hardware because this game NEVER has bugs...right?
This is a bug with the tombstone that has existed since The Shape's introduction but has never been addressed for some stupid reason. My guess is that because the item is so rare on the bloodweb no one encounters it often enough to bother reporting it.
It's possible to do a quick attack instead of a kill because the activation range is extremely small, so any latency will ######### you over. However, it's not possible to do a lunge instead of a quick attack if you tap M1. That is not a bug, that is either a hardware issue or you're holding the button for too long and don't realize it.

I DO!!! But 9 times out of 10 will lunge anyways!
Impossible unless there's a problem with your mouse.
-
You're not supposed to lunge, you're supposed to just tap M1 like a normal quick attack.
-
Discordance will go well with the Plague's perk that blocks generators for two minutes. Surveillance goes well with Pop Goes The Weasel, which itself goes well with Hex: Devour Hope. Different perks for different playstyles.

She's literally the most nerfed killer in the game and you're asking for more nerfs?
Naturally. She's probably the only killer who's received nothing but nerfs since her release (except the Nightmare, but we don't talk about the Nightmare), and still they want more, just like NOED.

@Orion I'm not sure. I'm quite a potato survivor. At the very least, I need Urban, all other perks be damned.
Good point. I had a Nea daily and that's the only perk I took (I could only take one of her teachables, since she's level 1). Still, puking on survivors is more fun than using her perks, IMO.

Didnt devs say that they ban people but they ban them all at the same time?
Indeed they did, and that is what happens. Every time there's a particularly big one, people create threads to whine about it.

I got it all lined up: 1 000 000 BP, three dailies done but reward not claimed, and 8000< Iridescents. I know it's childish, but I just can't wait.
I'm wondering though: would it be smarter to level up Ms Gargantuan Ass first? Isn't it usually the case that with a new chapter, plenty more people try playing killer?
You can play survivor without perks just fine, you know.
-
Base Nurse is fine. I can't speak for her add-ons because I don't use them.
-
If they'd disconnected willingly, they would've said so. DCing is a point of pride to people who do it willingly. I'm guessing this was just instability in the game itself that caused them to DC.

I still don't think it's very accurate. I'll take coincidence for an answer until data says otherwise. I get how that's... logical, but ehhhhh I don't think it's likely enough.
Gaming is a hobby. Hobbies take up time. Family takes up time. Family supersedes hobbies. Get it now?

Never heard that theory before ๐ค
Makes sense, though. Statistically, heterosexuals are more likely to have larger families, which means less free time for hobbies and the like, especially video games.

I think what @Zanely89 said in the first place is right, that it's just coincidence. Not every statistical anomaly has a good explanation.
Coincidence is an acceptable explanation to me. Roll the dice enough times and you're bound to get results that seem coincidental to the human mind. However, "coincidence" is the last resort after all other explanations have failed.

To be fair its likely a mix of multiple reasons.
Maybe lgbt feel this is their safe space as its each person set on equal terms to escape/kill.
In a game if life and death sexual orientation ain't gonna matter.

@Venzhas said:

Because there is a kind of "union" and solidarity in the LGBT community that is really strong, in my opinion, so thats why people from this will feel a little safer with their pairs sometimes, to speak without being judged since we dont know if the person you speak with even sometimes for long will be racist or homophobic . So im always glad to met them here. I dont deny straight friends thought lol
Only if you're LG. The BTs get screwed even in the LGBT.

What would you suggest? If what @Zanely89 says is accurate, this is a statistical anomaly that should have some explanation.

It's a card collector game called "tower of savior", I played on the chinese version, but I do heard the english version have a small but active community too.
I can assure you nothing about it is gay, and they don't target gay for marketing the game. I played the game for almost 4 years now, and only after about 3 years in, I found the chat room started the whole thing.
Here's my new theory: gay people are less likely to have to take care of children, for obvious reasons, and so they have more free time for things like video games.

@epicosity said:

Not sure that was his point. He's not saying he's against LGBT, he's just saying that it doesn't matter. It doesn't affect the game and doesn't really make a difference in the people.
My point is that to call sexual orientation a personal choice shows a deep lack of understanding of said topic, and is especially annoying because it legitimizes the god-awful "tradition" of pride parades.
