I’m assuming that’s using both antidote add ons? That can be surprisingly effective against W gamers
Iirc, Make up kit and Jug for invigorated duration, along with Brutal Strength, Fire Up, Bamboozle and STBFL to speed up other things.
-
I tend to just not use add ons unless it's for a meme build.
Can't wait to be banned with my Speedy Boi Clown build though.
-
I'm out at the moment so I might post more when I'm home ^^
-
My phone has decided that it wants to be ######### today, so I'm going to do my killer and survivor ones separate.
Posted two pics for Oni just so I can show his weapon
-
It's been a while but I'm glad we have yet another one of these! Thanks again for these dude ^^
-
Move down Nurse to needs a rework and move down spirit to significant changes, then I think this list is right.
-
I think there should be a depends option.
Some killers, such as Blight, I love to play against. Others such as Spirirt I despise.

No one because they are psychos and people need to stop simping for them or symphatising them. They are bad guys and we need to accept it. Altought some of the killers originally was a good people before transformation: Wraith, Hag, Spirit, Hillbilly, Twins, kinda Trapper and the Bllight. But the not mentioned ones was a devils before being transported into the entity realm. So please dont symphatise bad people.
Other than Frank (which is partially debatable), nothing necessarily says the rest of the Legion members are psychos either (unless Julie's lore said otherwise).

"To be completely unfair and give survivors no reliable counterplay against her?"
That statement literally says that you have gone brain dead to just holding Shift + W and playing Ring Around The Pallet. People that play Spirit such as myself understand how to counter Spirit simply because we know how she thinks and what information she needs to track survivor's. It's called "Using Your Brain" something your suppose to do to outplay the other person in a PvP game.
But it doesn't matter I guess. It's okay for killer's to guess but it's bad when survivor's have to guess
As someone who plays Spirit and consistently 4ks, I still dont understand the counter to Spirit.
Care to enlighten me/us...and if you're so confident that you can "use your brain" why dont you try to prove that you can counter Spirit and step up to that challenge against Scott Jund?

The balance comes from her having a very high skill cap. She is the best if you can play her better than the knowledge of the survivors you are up against about looping her. Did you even bother to read the comments of many before you? I really don't think you played her nor against her enough to comment on whether she needs a nerf or not. That or you, as you've displayed with your comment, don't really absorb any information and just tunnel vision on what you know.
I've played more than enough of this game, s well as read a lot of the comments. Havent played as her much as I dont find her concept enjoyable, but I've played against her a lot before I practically quit survivor after my break.
Calling a killer balanced because of high skill is a poor excuse for something being balanced. Loads of games that focus on high ranks balance will nerf the high skill character if said character is stronger than any other character by a long margin. For comparison sake, I'm going to take Overwatch. A game that although has some questionable balancing at times, it does balance updates usually by the month meaning that most characters remain balanced. As they focus on higher level play, the stronger characters are nerfed if they're too strong, regardless of skill. It should be the same here.
No killer, even with practice, should be able to remove every form of counterplay and leave the same amount that's left with Spirit, which is luck. If luck is the deciding factor of counterplay for if the survivor escapes a chase or not, then there's something wrong with the killer.

Must I say anything else?

No way in hell is that fair. Nurses entire chase is a contest of skill, making her the most balanced killer in the game. Get over your bias before making posts like this.
Hate to break it to you, but a killer that removes all form of counterplay isn't balanced at all. There's a reason she's been considered the best killer since her release. She does need a complete overhaul as the ability to go through walls will never be balanced.
-
Aslong as we get Jeff shirtless I'll be fine with Felix.
-
I'm fine with it. It's rare that I crash or have to quit, so a 5 minute cooldown doesnt annoy me. Atleast with a suicide you're forcing the killer to hook you and waste a hook + waste their time. Additionally, if anyone does this to me while I'm killer, they can enjoy 4 minutes extra in their match if they want to be a ######### to their team.
Otherwise, it does work fairly well against people who dc, and because of that you see less people dcing as a whole.
Finally, relating to hook suicides again, every game has some way to basically give up. Lets take Rockey League for example. You can just stay still and tap one button every 20 seconds or so and you wont disconnect and receive a ban. Very rarely does anyone get banned for this either.
-
Does it need elaboration at this point?
-
Definitely either Blight or Hag, to me I'd say Blight as he can't be countered by an item, he doesnt have to set up early on and he's a 115 killer.
-
No one really plays with me so no, I don't.
-
Not the strongest here, but probably the second most fun to me and my god does he have some amazing cosmetics. His whole theme is amazing, and if he was a bit stronger (even C tier) I'd main him for his looks alone.
-
Although I'm not too open on it to others...I'd love to have a pansexual flag in the game. Up until then, the current flag is enough representation for me ^^
-
She needs a nerf to her power. As much as I wish the "solution" of giving more info to survivors would fix everything, I think it would do barely anything so instead she should have less info.
-
If you want to you can turn off cross play.
-
Aight I may have over reacted and voted for needs a big nerf, when all she really needs is more counterplay or some sort of nerf to her power.
One idea that I've always liked is she cant hear survivors grunts of pain, but other noises (such as footsteps) are louder while phasing, and maybe if that's not enough she could become base 115? After all one of her biggest problems right now, isnt only that survivors dont know where she is, but Spirit always knows where you are if you're good.

Just a question here then. Why is T Bagging and Flashlight clicking unsportsmanlike and toxic then. They're apart of the game too, but the community considers them toxic, when that could be a strategy to get into the killers head and make them mad, so they play bad.
Because that tactic involves trying to anger the opposition.
Tunneling, slugging and camping all dont necessarily involve angering your opponent while they do progress towards the killers objective.
Tbagging and Flashligh clicking is almost always used solely to annoy the killer, which, even if its tactical, is unsportsmanlike conduct.
-
If Billy became a survivor (even as a legendary cosmetic for steve) I'd definitely use him.
-
Dont want to face abuse from killers possibly because they played with their friends.

And why is it a problem to just do that in a kyf-game? Is it because it might not be fun for the killer, so noone wants to do it?
Well there are some reasone why people wouldnt want to do it in kyf.
- They dont have five people.
- None of them are that good at killer.
- None of them want to play killer.
- Its more fun playing around without knowing who you'll be facing than to play with a friend and know what killer they'll play.
- You play better when you're not having banter and messing around.
- It's not as fun to do meme builds on someone you know (like a breakout build).
These were the ones I could think off from the top of my head in about 2 minutes, there are probably other reasons. Remember not all of these apply to every swf, to some only one applies while to other most/all apply.
-
Depends. If you're playing killer to win, pick up Spirit, if you're picking up a killer for fun, Then I'd say Blight or Clown, while if youre looking for good perks, Clown (again) and Plague.

You're lucky it wasnt old PH with that ass.

Of course if you come up with a new idea that is very good, or you put a lot of effort into certain threads (Like GoodBoyKarus stream threads) they might blow up.
Most of them however, don't and the ones that do get a lot of views and responses are ones that are people falling for bait or a controversial nerf/buff topic.

Personally, I don't think it's possible to effectively buff solo survivor (Do SWFs get this buff too (so double buff)? Are you also buffing all killers?). I honestly thing the best thing to do is nerf SWF.
If it were me, I'd give any survivor in an SWF only 3 perk slots (their 4th perk is comms). That's it.
I'd also let the killer know who was in an SWF, and I would give them a bonus for playing against them, to try and discourage lobby dodging.
The problem with nerfing swf is that not every swf is a sweat squad, some just play to meme around with 4 head on builds or something similar. That's why the alternative, buffing all solo survivors and then killers in a way that doesnt really effect swf is what most people want. To me, the best way would be by giving info to the survivors that would be useless to swf (Such as maybe as soon as a killer gets into the first chase the whole team learns who the killer is, something that is useless to swf bc they can just tell each other).
-
Dont worry dude, nothing will come of the report especially if you have video evidence, and considering you made a post a few days ago proving such, I think youd be allowed to use that as evidence.
-
Just want to mention the second one is completely fine. They're within natural rank range.
The problem is with the other two, is there arent enough killers to go around for the survivors, so eventually this rank range increases up until a killer is found. So technically, matchmaking still is working correctly, it's just that these are the unfortunate results that happen due to the team you were facing waiting 10 or 15 matches for a game.
-
With enough dedication, any killer is viable.
I played Clown when he was considered the worst killer yet I consistently 4kd still. Most importantly however, play what you find fun my guy.

@Khar said:
What's she supposed to do? Completely rely on scratch marks?
Scratch marks, breathing and any other noises such as grass rustling or footsteps.
-
That kobe off hook though.
Also, although 2:25 is extremely fast, so kudos for that. Although it's a rare occurrence to receive, I do feel bad for Trapper even if he was Devotion 10.
-
Exposed Clown builds and Skill Check Doc builds are my favourite.
-
While others disagree, I'd love this to reduce the gap between swf and solo survivor.
-
Ik this might not work due to, iirc, Frank and Julie dating, but I like Frank x Joey.
-
From my experience, the only skill she takes is "general skill" which is skill that you need to be somewhat decent with every killer. General skill would be like tracking grunts of pain and listening to your surroundings while being able to predict where a survivor is when you havent seen them in a while (no not in a chase).
Once you've got some general knowledge, and if you're running Stridor, you've got the second strongest killer in the game and the easiest killer (imo) that's in A or S tier. To me, she needs either less info herself while becoming 115, or a lot more info to survivors, as right now she is too strong with not enough counters.
-
Never knew about 3,6 or 8 so thanks for sharing ^^

Well I think banning SWFs for using comms it a bit too much but if we're honest about it, it is kind of cheating. Using a third party communication tool is something that a) boosts your in game performance and b) is in no way or form possible within the game. If there was a way to communicate during the match in a clear way and over a long distance, like a chat (so pointing and waving doesn't apply here), we could argue about comms being absolutely fine but it's not in the game and thus the game was not intended and designed to be played that way. I think the devs even said something along the lines of that they deliberately not included a chat and designed the game as such.
I also think that almost everybody in this community agrees on the fact that comms can give you way more information than otherwise. If used properly, it's essentially a fifth perk for every survivor and a pretty strong one at that too.
Don't get me wrong - I'm not saying to remove SWFs or bann comms but imo we should accept that SWF+comms as it is what it is and in the end it's "using third party tools to directly improve your gameplay" which somewhat falls within the definition of "cheating".
Or as Wikipedia calls it "Cheating in video games involves a video game player using various methods to create an advantage beyond normal gameplay, in order to make the game easier".
If SWF+comms is not exactly ^--- that, what is it then?
I guess the devs and mods are actively encouraging cheating then...by having rooms for swf comms on the official discord.
Its undeniable that comms do increase the chances of survivors escaping...but it's also hard to deny the fact that, atleast from my experience, it's very rarely something noticeable.
I've played weak killers like pre-rework Clown to strong killers like Blight, and comms are far from the biggest problem in dbd rn, but more so the gap between solo survivor and swf (something that needs improvement on the solo surv side while not making anything too strong).
-
Mindbreaker is the perfect perk for me so I've got no intentions on changing it.
-
I got Nurse and Spirit who I both dislike...however third was Blight who I do enjoy ^^
-
@TheClownIsKing We need the professional to do this.
-
I'd reccomend reporting this to support. I believe they'd be able to handle this.
-
For the people: I'd take injuries to help others close to me.
Left Behind: Not a lot of people think I'm a good friend so I tend to do things better alone.
Sprint Burst: I'm a strong runner when it comes to short distance.
We're Gonna live forever: "Your few friends deserve the best protection." says enough.
-
Would ruin some killers. For example, if I hear a doc laughter then what's stopping me from just equipping Calm Spirit and denying him his power practically.

That I don't know I'm afraid, there'll be discussion and look at when things can be released, there's a whole process to go through if/when they will be done - I can't guarantee anything I'm afraid.
That's fine, thanks for telling me anyways rather than not responding ^^
