badham isnt fine its actually the most unfun/ survivor sided map in the game
Really? I find it quite balanced as killer. A lot of loops aren't survivor nor killer sided, and I very rarely feel like I win/lose on either side due to the balance of Badham itself. Plus, it's one of the few maps that actually implements the wall breaking concept well. I think the only change I'd make is adding a hook in the lower floor of the preschool if basement doesn't spawn.

It was during the event, I didn't realise survivors opening the special chest can stun the killer
It's not from survivors opening it. There is a timer on the top left which will indicate when the chests will open. Killers get stunned when within a close range. Survivors scream and become hindered.
-
As an ex-Billy main, you've hit the nail on the head. I barely enjoy him anymore post buffs. I am glad however more people get to enjoy him at least.
-
Probably a few survivor skins for DbD.
An operator skin or two based on DbD killers/survivors for RS6.
-
I agree and disagree.
I don't mind new cosmetics being made limited time, especially after we now have majority of the cosmetics available for free with shards.
What I do mind is how they removed old themed cosmetics from the store to also make them limited time.

This until my teammate makes a mistake leading to me going down. That destroys my mentality.

I swear BHVR has forgot swamp exists T^T

BUMP! This is great.
Imagine a Josh Legendary Skin as the Psycho, or a Wendigo Legendary Skin has Hannah, the Makkapitew.
Credit to @CHEETOMAN324 , i also saw this idea which was cool:

Glad ya like it ^^
If I had to decide between either of them as legendary skins, I'd definetly prefer Hannah as a skin. While Josh would be very cool (especially as his Wendigo form we see in the true ending), "normal" Josh would probably feel weird to animate with the power...though then again Legion works so maybe not.
As for the concept, it looks interesting and I'd welcome all three into the game to try, so thank you for showing me it!

Other than the fact that you can buy majority of the content...
And for the ST things chapter? Well no DLC through family sharing has beem a steam policy for over four years. You were the one who took the risk on it.

Eddie (ginger furball) is heavily bonded, so he's basically a dog.
More Doggos :O

The Notjake will unfortunately not become a new killer.

Make them 2-3% faster by default
It really wouldn't hurt to take someone like Trapper, Singularity, Ghostface, etc and make them 117% instead of 115%.
It's small, but any small boost can make a big difference.
Yet people complain that MFT adding 3% to survivors only while theyre injured is too much...?

Your Safe Haven description was worded way better than the one I had on my survey. 😂
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/3WJXWASLRBR4/20230817-132412-jpg.jpg
As for the perks themselves.
Boon: Safe Haven - would definitely be complained about and then nerfed to useless.
Harming Hands - it'd be one of those perks where it'd probably work in solo q but not swf. People would just not let obsession heal them to avoid being exposed.
Electrophobia - Would have good synergy with Fearmonger. Could see this one getting added.
Hasten Healing - it's basically Botany Knowledge but instead of medkit debuff it's an exhaustion debuff.
Nah what is that even suppposed to mean, that's worded so wierdly.
-
Glad to see everyone here agree safe haven is busted.
-
Killer main who only plays survivor to either do archive challenges or meme around with friends. I'd say I'm like 80/20 in favour of killer.

So if you’re playing your killer of choice and you see them near the fence heading for main you just go ahead and drop chase?
Sometimes that's unironically the best play.
Doesn't help that Garden of Joy is generally a very bad map anyways.

I want a killer called thenotjake now
What would The Notjakes power be however?
@Seraphor said:
Electrophobia would be trash.
Hasten Healing... a little confusing as it doesn't include whether or not itself is prohibited by Exhaustion, so would it be like MFT and be a semi-exhaustion perk? If so, probably very strong, but if it can't be used while exhausted, probably fairly limited but still viable.
Harming Hands, probably not that useful, around the same tier as Iron Maiden tbh but would maybe proc a little more often. Also doesn't indicate the duration of Exposed, surely it's not indefinite, that would be broken.
Boon: Safe Haven, sounds interesting, Boon equivalent of Devour Hope maybe.
What I really want to know is:
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/THAFKZWWUQ7S/surveyquestion.png
How can I rank the format of this question?
I think you have ranked it correctly there. If you find A easiest then youll rank it as 1, then the second easiest as two and so on.

I'm deeply amused by the character names more than anything, ha.
The actual mechanics of these perks range from kinda useless to kinda busted, hypothetically. I love the idea of Harming Hands, myself.
How did I not realise that the first time around T^T
Harming Hands sounds fun, even if possibly suffering from the same issue as old Dying Light.

Do we not remember how survivors also had so much back then? Pallet Vacuuming, two pallets on one loop. We also had ds be meta for years, infinites for god knows how long with some still existing now under the right circumstances. BNP were so much stronger. Even if we move more modern, DH meta was a pain. DS up until a while ago literally decided games. Spine Chill destroyed some of the weaker members of the cast, and gen rushing was easier with 80 second gens.
Is the game in its easiest? No. Gen kicking meta would have been that. But this is definetly one of the easier periods.

Nah I have two steam accounts, one I buy games on and the other in which I play them on for more privacy. I do the same on playstation. This change screws me out of doing that, Im not being entitled in the slightest for wanting to access content I paid for.
I understand this, but majority of people aren't using it this way. The outroar is over people who didnt pay for it losing it. I feel bad for people like you who have been screwed over unrightfully, but you don't fall under the entitled people.
The entitled are those who didnt pay, not you. Idk if you can bring it up with steam support or not but I hope a solution is made for people in this situation.

Still, it seems weird that dlcs are treated differently than base games.
Yeh I don't get why steam did it either. Could be greed. Could be they found the system being abused. Could be both. Could be neither.

Slinger having cocky voice lines would be great.

It's quite a weak status effect if the survivor or killer is good. There are much better add ons/perks to run than ones that apply the blindness status effect.

How are ppl being entitled abt it? I'm genuinely curious
A lot of people on twitter are acting like they should be able to keep it for free, as if something they bought was being taken away from them when they didn't actually buy it.
-
Steam updated how family sharing works and made it so DLC doesn't get shared anymore. On one hand I find it sorta scummy, on the other hand people are getting very entitled over it.
-

That's very far from "small" buff. That's quite a huge buff.
Still prolly wouldn't be meta in solo q though, albeit would increase it's use rate.
-
Myers, his add ons and basekit might even need a full rework.
-
Grab right as the pallet was dropped? Which would cause the server to both recognise the grab and the pallet drop (thus negating the stun)?
-
Try faking windows/pallets and breaking LOS the second you hear his sword knife thingy enter the ground. He is by no means OP and doesn't need any nerfs. In fact, he probably needs buffs in the form of an add on pass.
-
Easiest would have been during the kick gen meta. However, we are in one of the easiest periods. Especially with everyone overrunning the exact same builds as survivor.
-
I believe these are supposed to be made for new players, like the killers entry level if you don't have much experience. For example, Legion is literally hit a survivor and move faster to hit other survivors, meanwhike sadako has multiple things she has to try stay aware of at once which might be tough for new players.

Thank you all! I apologize that it took me so long to respond to you all, this must have slid under my radar haha.
Dude you don't owe anyone an instant response, stay proud and happy.
Also pan flags slay in rooms (even if mine is off colour).
-
Adds more personality to some of the charachters, and I'm curious about how some of the survivors sound when they're not screaming. Overall I would like it. People can always turn them off anyways (iirc?).
-
Ehhh really depends.
I'll play Hillbilly or Clown like my life depends on it. I want to push myself to their limits.
At the same time, I'll play some killers in the weirdest ways for the laughs.
-
Yay more pan people!
Goodluck coming out to friends and family dude, it may be tough but telling the first few people is always the hardest part. It gets easier from here.
-
Have you checked out Hades and Hi-Fi Rush woth streamer mode on? Both of those have very good soundtracks imo.
Also I agree risk of rain 2 has amazing music. Con Lentitud Poderosa is how I found out the game exists.
-
Could he? Probably?
Would he? No. Wraith is friendly. He would be the kind of guy to see you not have any money and buy you a choco bar just to be nice.
-
Isn't TSM full of half the issues people complain about within DBD though...?
-
Honestly this would be an easy smol change that I would like.
-
I actually really like that it's outside. Makes the map unique.
-
Do I think he needs a nerf? Partially. But I also think he needs a buff as compensation. When Wesker's aren't tunneling like crazy, he's probably the most balanced and one of the most fun killers to face.
-
Not the lesbian representation I was expecting but I'm more than happy to see it regardless.
-
I would love for a spider killer. They could be F tier and I'd still adore them cause spiders are cute and need love and protection.
-
Possibly unpopular opinion...but I feel like they get way too much hate.
-
Irl they are very helpful for hiding things from parents.
In game they are also cool :3
-
I don't think I'll ever be able to take IGN seriously after their Xenoblade review a few years ago iwl
-
The screen disortion I'm down to have removed as it has caused many players to feel sick and it could be replaced by some other effect that still limits vision but not in a sickening way.
Asking to nerf Clown's tonic however is absurd. Clown is mid tier (unless you are Arinad) and pre dropping pallets is a completely valid counter. If he neefs anything it's a buff to his bottles, such as three of each (six in total) before he needs to reload rather than four between both.
-
I'd love another system, like double bp (on top of any current multipliers like bonus bp for role incentives) that encourages people to play killers that are played less at their MMR or killers that said player doesn't play often.
