Hillbilly with Enduring, Spirit Fury, Bamboozle and Infectious Fright. While not necessarily "not meta" for Billy, using no slowdown on him is incredibly fun and creates close games.
For survivor, I really like the perk Red Herring. Helps a lot in three gen situations and is quite a fun perk overall. Usually I use it with Quick and Quiet, Head on and Prove Thyself.

If you break the wall next to the Window you are fine. Like... This is the purpose of this breakable Wall. If you dont break it and loop the window by vaulting it (without Bamboozle), you deserve to be looped around the Main Building.
Oh that wall I always break when playing killer, however as playing survivor I found (at least with MFT) I can loop main building long enough for the window to be blocked, then use one of its three/four pallets before the window gets unblocked again.

Alright you do you, but I was saving a teammate and blocking for them so I got hit by the blades and downed right at the exit gate so yeah...
I can understand that being frustrating.

Like why? just let us hoar a massive amount of BPs.
And does it really matter if people save them for new chapter? everyone can do it, and most people already save around 2 million, which is enough to get a good amount of addons and perks on a character, essentially max out if you have all the teachable perks already
I believe it was to stop hackers back in the day...although obviously they could work around that.
I've no clue if there is any good reason for it to exist now.

So that the Killer does not have to break a wall to get easy access to the Gen in the Main Building.
You have to break the Wall next to the Window anyway as Killer, even before the window was strong while the wall was not broken.
Is there any way they could nerf the window then? Because before this change whenever I played Killer I'd never break the Wall for this exact reason, it made the building so much stronger.

I only realised this a few days ago and had to edit the post because I made the same mistake without proof reading.

Around this time last year when gen kicking meta was in play.
The game is in a good spot rn though.
-
Are we including Add Ons? If so I'd go with Wraith. Even his yellow add ons make him much better, and the removal of being burnt by flashlights has greatly improved his strength.
-
I'm going to say no simply based on the fact that I really like downing toxic survivors at the exit gate that don't know about this.

MFT + Hope is 110% I’m not sure where you got the other 2? And imo being injured is a condition - same as with resilience.
Ive just found out hope isnt 9% at Tier 3 T^T My bad
-
Eventually everyone will end up here cause dbd players would report anyone they lose against.
-
Didn't wanna sound biased within the post so I made a comment instead, Hope shouldn't stack with other perks that increase the movement speed of the survivor. While MFT could do with some changes, I think the 3% increased movement speed part of the perk is fine. 112% is too much however.

I am not saying these perks need nerfs. I am just saying we need more variety, maybe some good new perks or some good buffs for old perks. Survivors have more variefty atm while killers stucked in these perks.
No matter what happens, slow down will always be meta. History speaks for itself.
That's not to say a lot of other perks aren't good...just slowdown is best if you really want to win.

I don't usually like ghostface but this is a pleasant change.

But the problem is that this ability is still there. People exploit it and it's an unfair advantage.
Dead By Daylight - Always a Pallet or a Window When You Need One!™
The fact you're using that at the end of each sentences really makes me think you go into every match assuming you're going to lose or something. By that logic a good solo will also have all that, which on most maps isn't the case.

Swamp rework was confirmed to happen during the most recent Reddit AMA with the devs.
Tonight we celebrate
-
And upstairs? I think I know the pallet.
-
By any chance was this on Racoon City Police Station? I had something similar happen to me there.
-
Here's a list of some things I'd like;
- Swamp rework
- Wardrobe option (mix and match cosmetics before you buy)
- Billy buffs
- Swamp rework
- Trickster map
- More perk buffs
- Swamp rework
- Reworked Moris for older killers
- Swamp rework

There needs to be a disadvantage, sorry. It's total bull&$#^ that you could potentially have 2 good players on the team that are able to exploit the infinite advantages to survivors (endless pallets, endless windows, miniscule speed advantage by killer, etc) and then radio to their friends:
"I have the killer by the maze, go do the gen over in the far corner. I'll let you know if he breaks chase."
"He broke chase, because of the giant board and the super slow running of the killer, you have about 30 second (OR HALF A GEN) before he gets to you, then w- key away and waste another 30 seconds."
Gen done.
If we won't remove the mic part of it, then each connected SWF should have a slowness penalty, either in running or gen. Or auto arrange the map to have fewer on the crazy amount of advantages available.
Dead By Daylight - Always a Pallet or a Window When You Need One!™
Except not every swf plays like this. Like I said to OP, lots of swf are playing for fun and will basically play like a solo queue squad cause they're having banter while playing rather than sweating.

If you aren't "playing to win" then why would a potential nerf affect you, anyway?
Cause I'm playing for fun knowing that I could win. Knowing that I'm going into the match with basically the exact same chance of surviving that I do if I were playing solo q. With this change me and the team would have even further reduced chances of surviving.

I think you and I are viewing this in a completely different light. "Punish" isn't the word I'd use. SWFs can communicate with one another outside of the game -- that allows for an insanely huge advantage to them. By inserting parameters into the game based on how many people are in the swf -- 2, 3 or 4 -- you could level the playing field and make this game more enjoyable for everybody.
But punishing is exactly what this would be doing. If every SWF was playing to win, and I mean trying to play as optimal as possible in every scenario, practically sweating, then I'd agree. But not every group is like this.
I'll give an example of when I play swf on the rare occasion. Regardless of who I'm playing with, we're having banter the whole time. One of us would be in a chase and lead the killer over to the gen we are all on and we'd be bullying said mate (jokingly ofc) for bringing the killer to our gen. Other times we will use joke builds where we are over the moon if we somehow all escape through all of our bs (I've found a love for the perk Red Herring for example).
If SWF did receive a nerf, groups like ours would have much less fun. Cause we aren't playing to win. We are playing cause we like each others company and we want to have fun in a game we like.

I completely disagree that it would kill the game. I'm not saying don't play with friends, but I am saying to level the playing field when going against SWFs.
But majority of SWFs aren't playing full sweat mode. Most are playing cause they enjoy the game and want to chill with friends. Nerf SWF and they'll switch games to chill. Who wants to be punished for playing with friends?
-
There are very few ways the devs could kill this game with one change...nerfing SWF would be one of them.
You'd basically be telling people not to play with friends. Most SWFs aren't that bad anyways.
-
I think if we ever get more characters that are part of the LGBTQ+ community they'll be newer ones rather than current characters, especially if they're trans or non-binary. However I'd love if they made someone pan then I'd main the hell out of them. But only if it makes sense to :>

Twins is the fourth best killer in the game and is Wesker but better (definitely not recency bias or anything like that).

This is exactly my point. MTF is a GOOD perk. Not 'gamebreaking' or anything killer mains try to tell you. Its a small speedbonus. Why does every somewhat good perk need to be gutted? Like MTF is a solid perk, let survivors get a solid perk. Killers on this site complain about everything and im so tired of it. Chill out killer mains, your not being targetted by a series of attacks from behavior, your just throwing a hissyfit the second survivors get a good perk.
Exactly, I am a killer main and I really don't see the problem with this perk. Some people are comparing it to old DH...? This perk isn't near as good. I hope it stays the way it is for a while atleast.
-
I'm gonna take a guess and say no, based on if you buy a killer/survivor with shards or auric cells, the price of the DLC in any store will remain the same and you won't receive anything for purchasing said DLC.
-
I really wanna try it out on Twins...I've been playing them a lot recently and feel like it could find some value maybe.
-
Clown!
Very easy to learn, but has so much to him if you're willing to put in the time to learn everything about him. There's much more to him than "Yellow bottle does this pink does that"
-
Any of the killers that are not here I do not own
-
MFT really ain't this bad T^T
-
While I do want more killers like Wesker (low skill floor, high skill ceiling, fun and strong), I do feel Wesker needs some tweaks here and there to make him more fun, so both buffs and nerfs.
-
To explain briefly, ghostface moves at 115% while retaining the Undetectable status effect. Even if he doesn't stalk a survivor, he can get an easy suprise hit on them.
Compare this to Myers. He only is Undetectable when moving slowly at Tier 1, and Tier 2 is mostly useless, as you now have a terror radius but are an M1 killer at 110%. On top of this, when 115% you have a massive terror radius.
-
1300 on Hillbilly
About 100 between the rest.
-
Do you mean 112% with Hope during endgame?
-
Supersexyawesome may be the best compliment I've ever heard.
But yes, well done BHVR, this has been a very enjoyable event and I hope for many more like this in the future.

I understand the pain. I am a PC player using controller because I am lazy.
So as a surv, I can't 360 (it's always an epic fail)
As a killer, this prevents me to use Huntress, Trickster, Deathslinger, Blight, Oni, Billy, Ceno and sometimes the Twins
Billy and Blight are actually quite good in controller imo. Sure not as good with mouse and keyboard but they're still playable.
-
I don't want to sound too blunt, but I think the best thing to do is not care about what survivors think. You create your own fun in this game. Tunnel if you want to. Just don't be suprised if that leads to more toxicity.

@OnryosTapeRentals said:
In theory, they were a new and interesting gameplay mechanic that would enhance the strategy aspect of the game by giving players the opportunity to decide whether to open up new routes or strategically deny certain paths.
In practice however, they're nothing more than an annoyance. The vast majority of them are positioned at very strong loops where you stand no chance of catching up to a survivor if you don't break it. And the remaining ones are either in obsolete locations (like the very edge of the map on Dead Dawg Saloon) or open up strong loops for survivors when broken. So instead of interesting strategy, you're left with:
- Walls that you NEED to break.
- Walls that you should NEVER break.
- Walls that are kind of just there for some reason and never see any use.
They're not fun or interactive and I wish they would rework their implementation to be more engaging...
The only one that is somewhat interesting imo is either of the ones on Badham. Optimal route into the building to get to the gen at the cost of opening up a strong survivor loop. I wish a lot of them were like that.

I'm definitely not in the majority here, but personally I really don't like how that one looks...most of the Dredge skins people have been going on about I dislike in fact.
This is the only one I found cool, which was better than the Clown skin to be fair.
Though that's not to say I don't like the Clown skin that won. Infact I'll prolly use it once it's out.

Can't you buy rift uniforms with aurics when they get added later in the game? Or is it because they are community that they only get and iri shard price?
They may have changed it, but I swear the first time they did it they were only available with iri shards as they didn't want to make a profit from it. Possibly legally couldn't make a profit from it.

I don’t want nothing nerfed but if made for this gets a nerf then bloodlust really should to because it a hard crutch on killer side especially when it goes up to 3
If they rebalance every map well enough then I'll agree bloodlust should be removed. Up until then, probably not.
