If I wanted a buff to Wesker; maybe make it possible to slam survivors on the ground instead of agaisnt the wall; as a action button once he grabs a Survivor. (As for some maps like Coldwich farm with big open corn fields; there is less place to collide a Survivor agaisnt the wall; so map dependant)
For nerf to compensate for this buff, yeah maybe slower and no progressive on infection when in chase or in terror radius. If the killer is not actively chasing the infectious survivors, they have a slower bar then normal; in chase the infection stops unless a specific interaction is done like vault a window, dropping a pallet. Etc.
I think if the slamming against the floor were to happen then survivors would have to make slightly more distance from being injured to compensate as Wesker would then be guaranteed a hit in every area basically.
The vaulting and pallet dropping idea for increasing infection also works opposed to the straight up removal of gaining infection in chase like I suggested and I'd be down to watch that play out in a PTB.
-
Remove any techs that aren't intentional, rework add ons and thats all he needs. Technically they're nerfs and I believe the devs will realise that's all that is required.

Does it give an advantage over solo survs and killers? Yes.
Would they ever change it? No.
Why? $$$$, It encourages your friends to either buy the game or cosmetics etc.
Businesses answer to shareholders/investors first, customers second.
You're acting as if changing it wouldn't also annoy a lot of the customers. Who would want to play a game where you're actively punished for playing with friends?
-
Wait you all got asked a question on who to buff, nerf and rework? I didn't get that question ;-;
-
Were you here when DS worked almost exactly like that? DS was one of the most broken perks cause Survivors could make progress and still get a stun.
I do however believe it needs a longer stun duration. Revert it to 5 seconds. 3 seconds is literally nothing.
-
The one change I'd make to Wesker is that infection shouldn't passively increase for something like 30 seconds after being unhooked. Reduces his ability to tunnel easily.

Reverting Hillbilly’s changes would go a long way in bringing more fun Killers back. A few more base kit adjustments to make him smoother to play and bam.
He needs some changes, but completely reverting isn't necessary.

Not that I'm aware of. I took a break after that for about 9 months or so and waited to play until I got the new gen. I'd imagine it hasn't gotten any better since then though.
That's dissapointing...guess they aren't gonna change their minds now either.
-
Suprised no one has said Adrenaline yet. If I'm bringing any exhaustion based perk it's that.

I can't remember exactly what they said but I know for sure that it was the most blanket statement they could have made.
I'm pretty sure it was something along the lines of "We'll pass this along to the team"...
Did it ever improve out of curiosity?

Not wrong there. This reminds me of when the thread on old gen consoles reached like 20+ pages before getting a dev response.
I swear the dev response wasn't even acknowledging it either but rather just to tell everyone to not be toxic (although I'd be gladly told I'm wrong).
-
Damn you don't like the good feeling it gives you? How entitled /s

@Nebula said:
It's the lack of acknowledgement that really annoys me.
There's dozens and dozens of threads and hundreds of complaints about how bad it is but I guess there are more important things to address than platform wide stability issues...
I'm sure they're working on it but it's clear they have no solution as of now or else we would have had a response by now. This feels like a very scummy business tactic as they know people will ask for compensation if they admit they currently don't have a fix.
It's not as if BHVR has every been great at being open with the community...one of my few gripes about the company.
-
Made for this is alright. Hope should prolly be nerfed so it doesn't stack with other perks though.
-
I haven't seen one in a few weeks. Cheaters are definitely much less common than they used to be. They can filter out a lot but not all of them unfortunately.
-
I don't mean this in an insulting way but...how many hours do you have in this game?

Depends on which M1 killer we are talking about.

What is NFT?
nft stands for Non-Fungible token. Essentially buying something without actually owning it. It's sorta like stocks, except the item basically holds no actual value and its extremely damaging to the environment.
The best example I used to always give was this;
Imagine you see a picture of a frog online and you love it. Infact, you love it so much you want to own the picture. Not the actual frog, but the picture. So you buy the picture in the form of the token, which goes into a server. But you're not the only one who owns it. Other people can also buy that frog picture too. How much is it worth and why? No rhyme or reason.

Reminds me of what Riot Games let the player do...if you're a few credits short (or whatever the currency is called) you can send in art to the support team asking for like 5 or 10 credits. Doesn't matter if the art is amazing or Harry the Stickman quality. Once you aren't doing it too often they'll add the currency to your account.

How do we let you know we come in peace?

Yeh I decided to buy him alongside Rebecca and Ada...I think the sale was the push factor to me buying them and the current rift :)

I'm not sure if I'm from your era of the forums, definitely not the same era or DBD, but welcome back :3

I've been called toxic for "gen camping" a couple of times.
Like my bad next time I'll camp the T L wall loop in the corner of Coal Tower.

why balance landing in low b?
It's quite niche. Can only be used in certain spots on the map rather than anywhere like Lithe or Dead Hard. Furthermore, these spots are often dead zones, meaning that on those maps where you can get value it still might be minimal. The fact you still have a slight stun means you'll also often get hit anyways trying to use this perk where you may not have otherwise if you tried looping normally.
Dead Hard, while not as consistent gives much more value and Lithe is more consistent while usually still giving more value.

Can't you catch yourself and remember this is a horror game?
I really don't understand these people
After 100 hours or so this game practically loses all horror elements of it...not to mention all the other outfits we have got for some male survivors.
-
I'm guessing it's to prevent that survivor getting unhooked for free instantly...? But yes it is intended if if hasn't been changed ever if I'm not mistaken.
-
Balanced Landing is low B at best.
Dead Hard should be A tier imo.
DS is atleast A tier. Doesn't help every match but when it does it can turn the whole game around.
-
So general consensus is that Wesker is fun to play...thanks then everybody :) I'll prolly by him later.

Well thankfully that NFT situation was resolved and BHVR even cut ties with the CryptTV license because they were associated with NFTs. I think buying Wesker is definitely worth it, he’s a lot of fun.
Oh wow, I never knew they cut ties with Crypt but that definitely restores some faith in BHVR for me. Thanks for telling me this Gann ^^

AAAARGH!!! My tiny brain stopped looking for options when it saw "controls". I feel very dumb.
Thanks for the help!
It took me way too long to find it too cause I'm used to input bindings being under controls in a video game T^T Glad I could be of help though

how? when I go into "Controls" in the menu all I see is sliders for movement and stuff.
Input Bindings -> Interactions -> Activate Event Ability

Survivors and Killers alike will make wild accusations instead of admitting they played bad/made mistakes. Don't take it to heart. I was told I deserved to die from...well in a very bad way...all because I "tunneled" when my first kill was at 7 hooks.
-
@Ratroe said:
My idea is that groups of Survivors could have stat bonuses or classes, similar to Killer Terror Radius sizes and 4.4 vs 4.6 Movement Speeds.
For instance, tech oriented survivors could have 3-5% repair speed bonus, altruistic survs could have 15% healing and unhooking speed bonus, adventurous/wily survs could have 30% chest opening speed or the ability to rummage, and mystical survs could get 10% cleansing and blessing speed bonus.
Something like that, simple enough not to make it a puzzle for every new survivor, but fun enough to make playing different survivors worth it.
Thanks for any consideration!
This...is actually a suggestion I can get behind. Usually I'm against every survivor having a unique ability as it creates a pay to win scenario (and back when it was being suggested perks weren't as easy to get as they are now).
But if every survivor fits under one of a few categories, well once they aren't broken and are balanced accordingly I don't see why not.
The only thing is, if these changes were made, killers would need to receive a buffer of some sort as compensation (im saying this cause I feel the game is in its most balanced state right now and I don't want one side to get something without the other also receiving love).

Most likely very little would change. It wouldn't be the first time Xbox would have bought a company, and it's almost guaranteed the game would've continued to have content released on other devices.
The most that would've happened would be Xbox users maybe getting certain deals with Game Pass (which even then has happened before with The Curtain Call chapter, The Legions "High-Vis Horror" set and Yui's Kumi-Daiko Performer" set all being given to Game Pass users for free).
So in conclusion, very little would change other than Xbox users getting some content for free. The game is already on Game Pass so not like they could do much more than throwing certain content to the players.

Death Slinger is mid to face cause if he really wants to he can tunnel you with ease.
Huntress is fun once there good.
Plague gives a challenge.
Trickster...yeh the only good thing I can say about him is his lore and he's hot but he is horrible to face.
-
As killer I like matches that are extremely close. Sweeping survivors is quite boring half the time if they don't get a single gen done (unless I play a perfect game then I can be proud), while getting destroyed not because I played bad but because survivors doing gens so fast is frustrating, especially if they're toxic. Those close games force me to give me my all, while allowing me to learn new things as a result.
As survivor, I only enjoy it when I'm facing a variety of killers. It means that every match feels very different. Recently I've played a lot less survivor as most people play Wesker, but even then he's not too frustrating to face (other than the fact that in my experience majority of them hard tunnel).
Also as both sides, the random perk challenges were extremely fun. Please make random perks a base thing.
-
Made For This if you're good at looping.
Sprint Burst to just generally waste their time otherwise.

You know you can kill the survivors right? Permanently removing them from the game? Just do that, killer is easy
So that's what I was doing wrong all this time...

Some people have too weak of a mentality to accept losing.
-
Clowns VHS Porn is funny and can hold value in the early game for survivors who don't pay attention.
-
This is one of the takes of all time.
Take that as you will.
-
The devs can change the game, but they can't change the communities childishness at times.

I got a ghostface camping at 5 gens. Fun game
Had a Huntress do the same earlier. And a Wesker hard tunnel me (I usually don't use the word tunnel but he was literally ignoring an injured survivor trying to go down to save me and upon accidentally downing that survivor with his dash just dropped him and continued to chase me (I escaped)).

Mirror Myers. Knowing he could be around any corner always gets to me.
