I've no idea how it looked prior but...personally I really like the map. Visually looks great to me.
-
Only if its pointless camping. I don't mind them camping at one gen left or something. When it's at four gens? Yeh that's when it gets frustrating.

Let’s pretend these average humans actually have fighting capability 🤷
Pig is legit just a lady in a pig mask, the worst she’ll do is maybe get a lucky throat slice or sedate you.
Twins are probably more scared than you are.
In that case then maybe Twins could be taken on, so could Nurse if you avoid a blink. Amanda could be as she's far from the perfect disciple of John Kramer and is quite rash in how she approaches things.
Then there are some that are complete easy if we take away their entity powers. Spirit without her entity powers is dead. She called on the entity to keep her alive. So is Plague as she called out for a god to save her from dying. Then there's Legion who's stronger without the entity as they can all be together and a four on one isn't in the ones favour in this case.
I've a feeling without the entity controlling some killers, some of these wouldn't be fighting us. Deathslinger clearly has morales in his own lore. So does Billy, and potentially Wraith and Trapper depending on how far they are insane.
Then there are some like Trickster and Ghostface who the average person is hopeless against cause if we are being lore accurate, they're stalking you before fighting you and they'll get you when you aren't ready.
-
Rocket League in DBD?
-
The average person is not surviving any of these. The only one I think that's up for debate is Legion if you're taking on one of them, and then I feel like Joey and Susie wouldn't even need to be fought if it were them. Otherwise nah we all are dying.
-
One every two matches usually, with odd bulbs being very rare for me to see, while New Parts and Anti-Hem being more common.
-
Can't en passant in DBD, chess is just better.
-
Congrats :3

Scariest? Up there. Best designed? Far from it. He's weak, but extremely weak on some maps that lack lockers in important areas. Furthermore, his nightfall is a pain for survivors where its given me literal headaches playing against him. He was definitely fun at first and can use some perks very well (such as MYC) but personally he isn't amazingly designed.
He does look stunning however.
-
I think this would become a problem when you reach the top 1% where survivors are so good that they only see Nurses and Blights...but otherwise I wouldn't be too against it if you add in the fact that after a while it does look for all killers again. Just once it doesn't delay everything too much.

It's definitely up there along with Ormond and Badham. Playing them as an m1 killer is a singularly miserable experience.
Ormond I don't actually mind too much as a lot of the loops are quite weak...however I can definitely see it being a pain for an M1 killer who doesn't have any traversability.
Badham on the other hand is definitely a pain.

I rate The Game as the least balanced. Most of the pallets are pretty safe and there are so many of them.
That's a good point...a lot of safe pallets on that map and I can only think of two or three that are dangerous/can be mindgamed.

I’d put pallets into 3 categories.
Safe, which yeah a survivor shouldn’t be getting hit after pallet is dropped. Should never be a hit before pallet breaks.
Balanced, safe until dropped but then can be mindgamed. Better player usually comes out on top.
Unsafe, should always be a hit.
I think you are putting balanced pallets into the safe category. Most pallets can be mindgamed and when you add killer powers into them many of them become unsafe
Maybe I did generalise them a bit too much then, and that's a good way to put some pallets on the map which will hopefully make me look at the map differently next time I play it ^^
-
@Perpendicular said:
Every pallet is safe? What’s a safe pallet in your definition?
I'm gonna be honest it was definitely a hyperbole, but a safe pallet in my eyes is one that can be dropped with no risk, where any semi-decent survivor will force you to break it as they're smart enough to jump over and back without getting hit whenever needed.
Unsafe would be anything that after being dropped it still isn't that safe, like most of Saloons pallets

The simple anwer is no.
Mandy stated that the following things are not breaking game rules and therefore have to accepted by all players:
- slugging and humping that person
- facecamping with hook slapping while nodding
- survivor unhook spamming
- sandbagging
- bodyblocking
"Humping" survivors...? What's that? Do I want to know?

Main building is rough but rest of map is fine. It def needs rebalance but it's not the least balanced, no.
Not while we have The Game.
Personally I don't mind The Game...although that might be because I play a ton of Clown and it's actually a decent map for him. For other killers that may be the worst map though such as for Billy.
-
@ad19970 said:
I disagree that almost every pallet is safe. It does have a fair amount of mindgameable pallets, depending on rng of course, but it does have too many safe pallets in addition as well.
But the map is indeed huge and has an incredibly strong main building. In my opinion Cowshed, Mother's Dwelling and Borgo are even worse, but Garden of Joy sure as hell is a terribly unbalanced map.
That's a good point, I definitely do get unlucky on the map but there are some nice pallets...just a lot of not so nice ones.
Cowshed and Mothers Dwelling I can definitely agree on both due to them also being massive and having strong main buildings + a shack.

Excited but ready to be dissapointed

Last chapter people said: "why are you complaining about 3 genning with this killer, people will adapt and its not like its the optimal playstyle on skull merchant" wow that turned alright, or with knight people mentioned clear issues at his release but there is always the argument of " the killer is still new" which recently has been proven wrong by just experience alone.
Not agreeing nor disagreeing about the strength of this killer, but historically the "killer is still new" argument has been for the better...I think pyramid head is a great example with how everyone thought he was extremely weak yet now he's A tier despite not having really received any buffs during the period.

Its still a cool addon
Better than being able to see the aura if getting flashed by a flashlight lol
Hillbilly needs another add on overhaul cause right now they're either useless or too strong, with the only ones I find not needing a change is his engravings.
LoPro chains are very cool (especially with that one Otz video of him breaking every pallet in a single chainsaw dash) and if the rest of his add ons stay weak then why not have a few to balance it out...but that doesn't change how much I wish they were all collectively more balanced.
-
As mentioned above, they're LoPro Chains, a purple add on for Hillbilly.
After breaking a pallet with your chainsaw, you continue your dash after breaking the pallet. Hitting a survivor within five seconds after breaking the pallet causes them to get injured rather than downed.
As a Billy main I wish the add on didn't exist but here we are.

yay go for it! Chilling on hay bales is surprisingly comfy (when it’s not itchy)
And you got this, wishing you the best for your exams!
Thank youu
Bout to sit my toughest (and most important) in three hours and the first part of it was horrible on Friday so I'm hoping it's somewhat nice T^T
-
As mentioned above, you probably just need a break. I've only started to come back after an almost year break and it feels so much more fresh with a ton of changes having been made of the past year.
That's not to say your break will have to be that long but, a break may help

Thank you dude, you push yourself too much sometimes iwl but these stuff are always amazing

If you never mentioned it I never would have realised T^T

If I ever get back into dbd I hope to see you with my Billy in the fog ^^
-
All the way back in late 2021 I made a post suggesting buffs...so imma just copy and paste the ideas I had here ^^
- Give this perk more conditions to activate.
This is probably the easiest change for the three. Give it more ways to activate. These could include;
- Cage Saves
- Pallet Saves
- Flashlight Saves
- Taking a protection hit
- Finishing any objective with a survivor
This would make the perk more consistent and easier to activate.
2. Don’t lose auras on unhook.
One problem with this perk is that its hard to get all 3 survivors auras while easy to lose them. This simple change would make this perk a lot less risky.
3. Survivors can pass it on.
The short title of it might be a bit odd, but a possible buff would to make this effect be passable. If any survivor effected by aftercare heals, gets healed, unhooks or gets unhooked by a survivor who isn’t effected by aftercare at the time, said survivor who isn’t effected will obtain the effects of aftercare.
This will make it much easier to gain all 3 auras easily.
4. All survivors effected see each other.
Right now, any survivor who is effected by aftercare only sees the survivor running the perk. This perk would be much more viable in solo queue if all effected survivors could see each other, rather than just the player running the perk, as solo survivors do lack information at the moment.
-
Thanks for these as always dude ^^
-
Your soul and sanity.

They'd have to be amazing for me to even consider buying them, and even then it'd most likely still be a no.

I honestly do not understand what's going on, but games like Fortnite literally have item rotation and it changes 24 hours and some items may never appear again and like no one has a meltdown about it, it really is not a big deal at all
Fortnites a free game with, outside of Save The World (an abandoned campaign mode), no additional purchases that lock you out from playing certain parts of the game. To own everything content wise in the game you need to pay 12 euro-ish.
Dead by Dayligh is a paid game with many additional purchases that lock you out from playing certain survivors and killers. To own everything content wise in the game you need to pay 202 euro.
I wouldn't compare the two games.

So what if the addon gave him cameras that he could place on structures around the map? while survivors are in line of sight stalk will build up at a slower rate then when GF is not lean stalking?
I think this should just be a new killer
Places camera's around the map and these camera's reveal survivors auras.
Would need more than just that cause he'd be weak af with no traversability, but maybe it'd be fun.

Make four paragraphs over the next year opposed to four chapters. Release two survivors and two killers while focusing on things from reworking killers to fixing bugs.
-
Literally every single piece of clothing I wear is somewhat black, my infinity cube is black, my bag is black and my two favourite characters in dbd have black clothing.
Swear I'm not an emo or anything.
-
I read the title and thought you were looking for a discount cause you were somebodies boyfriend....I'm sleep deprived
-
I'm fine with it imo
-
How'd you know they were both swf groups?
-
I finally know who Nova is.
Nova is a 100k bp code.
-
I've played Paladins with @GoodBoyKaru a handful of times...dbd however? I spread my bad luck when playing that.
-
Current DBD is the best this game has ever been.
-
I'll probably mess around for a game or two while playing Huntress or Trickster, but overall I don't see any appeal to playing against them as I've got no real reason to do so.

Another "pls ghostface is op pls nerf" when he is a stealth killer, and said kind of killer are not a huge deal. I mean, why don't you just leave or fully break the line of sight if he is stalking you? Man, complaining about nurse is something I can get to understand to a certain extent, but this is kinda pointless.
Please tell me where OP says that they want ghostface nerfed???

Can't have ######### in the entity's realm

Not really tbh
I've watched myself cut off almost everyone I call close within the last year or two due to trust issues, especially within the last month, and I'm struggling to reach expectations my parents put on me.

I get that she's OP, at least against SoloQ, but why would you choose her to be reworked over all of the other killers, especially when a lot of other killers can't even compete? (Not trying to start an argument, just curious as to your reasoning 🙂)
I'll be honest I'd love if they could do it similar to what they did with ghostface and Legion where (iirc) they released the two reworks in one update. The reason I chose Nurse above all these however is that I feel like her lack of counterplay makes her annoying to play against and boring to play as.
Maybe I was too quick to say Nurse, especially when Freddy is in dire need of one. I probably took this question slightly too biased in a sense and thought of it as "who would I rework" opposed to "who needs a rework the most" so I'll claim fault on that.
In conclusion, I hate Nurse but if I could go back and change my answer it'd probably be Freddy cause while Nurse needs a rework, there are a few killers that need one more.
-
Nurse
It should be obvious why

Proof? How can I provide proof of that? You want me to take a screenshot of every match I play and post it? The teams I've been playing against have been way too consistently organized with great timing and map knowledge throughout every other game I've played recently. It would be less reasonable to assume I've just been going against insanely skilled or lucky soloq survivors every other game. I've heard SWFs are rare, but I don't think that's true. If it is true, then what I'm asking for won't really affect cue times at all for most players. And since so many say SWFs aren't OP, then most killers won't use the option either, so SWF cue times won't increase much either.
It doesn't take much for a group of 4 decent (nor insanely skilled) survivors to work together and play well. If you're blaming every second match and good team on a swf then that genuinely sounds like a mentality problem.
-
Where's your proof that "every other match is against swf" cause that seems like a very bold claim.
