Certain survivors would become more pay to win per se than others. Everyone would play characters like Bill, Meg, David or Jake (Possibly a few others too) just to use a strong teachable that they have.

I have Bubba, Hag, Clown, Pig, Freddy, Spirit, Plague and Legion
Aight I’d go BBQ & Chili, Sloppy Butcher, Devour Hope and Pop Goes they Weasel on Wraith, and BBQ & Chili, Whispers, Corrupt Intervention and Pop Goes the Weasel on Doc.
-
I’d say Wraith or doc. Before I make builds, can I ask what killers you have?
-
Once a few months ago, every game went bad and we haven’t played since.

While I love music, I find it way too distracting to listen to while playing games.
-
Set it Off and Get Scared, love everything they have both made.
Should add my favourite songs they've made is probably Killer in the mirror (Set it Off), Sarcasm and Don't you dare forget the Sun (Get Scared).
-
Even outside of gaming in general I do it from time to time, sometimes it's for calming myself down, sometimes it's for other things.
-
Considering you're one of the nicest guys on this forum, you must've had a rough few matches or possibly days.
Take a short break, even if it's for a day or two, then come back and feel refreshed.
-
Although I respect your opinion, I find it somewhat OP and I constantly use it unless I'm using a meme build. To me, it provides so much value and although on the occasion it doesnt work, that's when I try to use it for avoiding an attack and not for distance.
I consider myself above average when it comes to looping so DH feels like it helps a lot and helps even if I didnt necessarily make a mistake but if the killer made a smart move.
-
It provides way too much value for putting yourself into a bad position.
-
Its 11pm and I expected the post to be about who's better and I voted the wrong killer ;-;

It really isn't.
It's annoying and can be frustrating to face at times. But you aren't going to lose a game because survivors have dead hard.
Dont wanna be that guy, but I can count plenty of times where I've lost momentum (which has often lost me the game) due to a DH.
@Lord_Tony said:
don't act like dead hard isn't a problem please.
Is it a problem? Yes, but not providing anything constructive isnt really gone help your point.
-
Oni or Blight. Both provide a fair bit of counter play while also being strong killers who can secure kills. Usually in these match ups, the better team wins.
-
Could you possibly make a short video showing the sound? Also your english is really good and you shouldnt apologise for it ^^
-
Were they rank 15 and not that good? If so it was most likely a dev.
Yes this is a joke, I never knew there were these red shirts with hooks/entity claws so I presume it was one or someone hacked it onto their account.
-
I'd say look for a gen, but actively look for totems on your way and make them your primary focus over generators, especially that often (although not always) when you see corrupt in play it's a Trapper who wont be focusing on the gens/totems that much at first.
Dont however spend 120 seconds doing nothing. The killer couldve set up for free in those 120 seconds, or possibly started a chase or two, maybe a hook or two during that time. Doing nothing is allowing the killer to do all this for free with no risks what so ever.

You playing anything else?
Rocket League, Slay the Spire and Overwatch. The first and the last bring toxicity issues like dbd does, but not as bad.
Whyd you ask?
-
The game is somewhat addicting despite being unhealthy. Luckily I quit it over a month back, and although I downloaded the game back two weeks later, I didnt really enjoy it and haven't opened the game since.
-
Two reasons, they have much more things they can do (such as tbagging, wide known toxic thing in many video games) which some killers do if they're able to, but that doesnt mean every killer does (Such as Ghostface being able to tbag, some do, some dont).
The other reason is that survivors are in a group. Even if they dont know them, they may believe that the other survivors have their back on being toxic, and that usually at most only one person will be toxic back.
-
Although I'm not as active I still enjoy seeing these ^^
-
So you're aware going into each match that you may be kicked out ruining the game for your team yet you continue anyways? You're as bad as people who dc as far as I'm concerned.
-
Although it's inconsistent, I find music helps me when I'm not in a good mood and everything is going against me.

I've played her for a long time, there's no counterplay. Survivors can't do anything against me because Stridor exists. "Play Spirit"- I did. I got her to P350 and as @TurboTOne and @NoOneKnowsNova can confirm learned her pretty well.
There's ######### all you can do.
I can back this up, both from me personally playing Spirit and that Karu is a good Spirit who wins with ease from what I've watched of him.
-
Unfortunately, when I go into a match I've no idea how the killer is gonna play, so I'd want the other solo survs to play aggresive to get through the gens as fast as possible and not be afraid to loop the killer.
-
To an average player who doesnt have much time to learn a killer daily, Spirit is better, but if someone has learned Nurse, they're the best killer in the game without a doubt.
-
I'm Irish and this is the only one I've heard of...
Supervalu is the real deal.
-
Any perk can be a crutch perk if the user starts relying on it. Spine Chill is no exception.
-
From my experience, it’s a mix of 2 and 5, you have no idea where she is, but even if you did that won’t help if she knows exactly where you are.
5 could apply to overall rather than just injured, but that’s up for debate.
-
They blinded you too early. The blinding timing is a bit specific, but from what I remember if you blind the killer before they can start moving, even if it's a millisecond too early, the killer will be blinded but wont drop the survivor.

As said in the video the only counterplay that j-flick removes or contests in actuality is survivors looping in predictable beaten paths
Something which he shouldnt have if it includes an 90+ degrees turn.

Regarding the Billy argument, its not comparable since his power is an instant down, Blights power ends at the swing while Billy could keep charging, only removes a healthstate and Billy is no way near A tier anymore. We could argue about that in another topic but this is about Blight.
If you watched the video you would know Blight is not reliant on it, it is always better to out position with bump logic. Removing the j-flick removes counterplay since no one will go for flicks anymore. You argue j flick removes alot of counter play to an already strong killer. Could you further explain and give an example of this?
Well for starters, like I said, Blight is a top 5 killer without his J flick, and to me a top 3 killer without it. He has one of the strongest powers that's both usable as mobility or in chase.
Like most A tier killers, he has atleast one strong counter. For him it's making tight turns, specifically turns at an angle of 180 degrees. If it be around a car or as we see early in the video, those blocks. If the Blight isnt using this exploit, the survivor can loop it. They dont have a ton of loops they can use against a good Blight, but this is one of them. When you can J flick however, you're reducing the amount of loops even more. What is a survivor supposed to do when the killer is doing double the turn they're supposed to be able to do? You shouldnt have to make certain movements due to the killer possibly having an exploit. It's like breakdown, that's an exploit that killers shouldnt have to play against and prepare for just incase survivors are using it.
-
My opinion on it is that it needs to go. If Blight was some B tier/C tier killer who was weak, maybe he was 110, then sure, I'd welcome this change. The problem is, even without it's debatable that he's in the top 3 killers and he's without a doubt in the top 5 killers.
The J flick removes a lot of counter play to an already strong killer. It's like if Billy could suddenly do a 180 turn mid way through his chainsaw dash. Would that be fine? Or would it be removing a lot of counter play to an already balanced killer who's A tier?
Its similar to the PH bug with Punishment of the Damned that allowed you to delay the sound of the sword digging into the ground giving the survivors, as far as I'm aware, a whopping 0.2 seconds to react. This was rightfully removed as Ph is already a good killer and this just reduced his counterplay.
-
Depends. Some swf can play like 4 solos, some solos can play like a 4 man swf.
-
I understand them saying that some people dont actually know breakdown is bugged and they were just using it, possibly for a meme build, possibly that they preferred the perk prior.
My problem is the ones who you can tell intentionally abuse it. Increased hook range, No Mither and Soul Guard with it so you cant slug them and if you do and try to wait by them they've just got SG to take a hit. That, when they're blatantly abusing it and are aware of the bug should be a bannable offence.
-
Joey by far.
-
Ive had two different cases.
In the first one there were Five gens left with me and another survivor left. We both knew we wouldnt escape so we just kept on head nodding while standing still. Eventually crows come and the killer (who's a Myers) comes over. Instead of killing us instantly, he joins in and let's us do gens. After we do all of them, we let him sacrifice us.
The other one, I was playing Trickster. I rounded shack corner after chasing a Nea extremely early in the game, and there are 3 survivors just tbagging and head nodding with each other. One of them was a streamer so I could see my small bit of suprise when I saw them. We proceeded to conga line down to the basement before letting them do the gens and escape.

You're still limited to a 4-minute bleed out timer regardless of which perks you run.
So the solution is constantly slug them while they constantly pick themselves back up?
I can understand Breakdown alone not being a bannable offence, but when using it with No Mither where there is very little the killer can do, I think it should be.
-
@Mandy said:
This isn't the definitive answer (because the Legion issue was 2 years ago, and things have changed a lot since then) but from what I remember with that particular bug, the matches were effectively held hostage as it took so long to mend. In this case with Breakdown matches can still end, the player will still bleed out even if they can't be hooked.
And what if they run No Mither with it? Maybe even with soul guard?
-
You can take Clown I'm keeping Jeff to myself.
-
Aslong as no one takes Jeff I'm happy.
-
Loving all of these ^^
-
How so many people think he's C tier is beyond me, hes high B tier imo, and a lot better than people give him credit for.
-
Jeff looks cute, I think he'd be amazing for hugs :3 I also, although being rubbish at it myself, love art if I personally know who painted it, which gives me a further interest in him. He also has great taste in music and a dog! He seems like a really nice guy overall.
-
Do I get anxious while playing the game itself? No. However, I do get anxious, worried etc about post game and the reactions to others.
-
So because a survivor perk got buffed the killers are supposed to immediately receive the same? That’s not how balancing works... even then a lot of killer perks are somewhat usable regardless if they’re meta or not.
-
I dont think people realise doing this could be what kills the game.
-
This idea would make it so that swf, especially groups of 4, will take forever to get into a game. What’s stopping me just turning them all off and probably waiting only a minute for a game?
Your idea would probably never work out and reduce the amount of people who play.
-
Yes, they were making no attempt to progress the game which classifies as holding the game hostage.
-
I dont run bbq in all my builds, but the ones I run bbq in now would still have bbq even if it didnt have the added bp.
