Spirit, Hag, Michael Myers, Legion, Clown, Pig, Huntress and Freddy are the types of Killers I really enjoy via abilities, perks and overall design.
Only ones I'm not a fan of are Billy and Trapper at higher Ranks. Doctor, Wraith and Leatherface I really enjoy but way too dependent on certain add-ons or Perks to really be fun for me.
Nurse, since I play on console is kind of an anomly, since I love her design and perks but how she plays on console is very *sigh*
-
Doesn't matter, Nea, Dwight and Jeff outclass her cosmetics ;D
-
Mathieu :P
-
I always do. I spend shards to cut down on the grind. I'm fine buying Chapters and Cosmetics I like with money. I know it's designed this way, but takes too long to spend shards on cosmetics and Killers/Survivors. With how many Bloodpoints you need to level up characters, let alone getting Perks and Add-ons you really want/need...rather cut down that timesink

Because console users bought into the propaganda that consoles are better, even though that's demonstrably untrue.
Lmao, that isn't the reason most people own a console xD I sincerely hope this is a sarcastic response. I prefer console gaming over PC for various reasons: exclusives, I'm more comfortable with a controller, friends on console to play with and I enjoy playing on the couch. Not to mention not every game that's on PC is superior version..tons of games on console have a ######### PC port..also LOL at PC fighting games...console has a way better community and stability.
Door swings both ways for all gaming.

There's a reason I call people who get easily excited for skins "cattle". They don't see the problem with $10 dollar skins and will happily purchase anything new Behavior pump out.
It's the same sort of people who pre-order AAA games, or buy "Deluxe" editions or other ######### that turned the gaming industry into such a garbage dump.
Oooh a champion of value has appeared, shout forth your divine aspirations of what value people are wasting away on things they enjoy!!!! You should write a book, give seminars!

did you even read?
It's a joke reference to Behaviour responding to players who weren't happy and expressed it during an officisl DBD stream about changes and Mathieu used that exact sentence as a response to players.
-
I don't see them putting this system into effect, or keeping it for long...it feels so dsmn demoralizing imo
-
What I find hilarious is that the changes punish us and expect us,to do WAY more for a safety pip, let alone a pip....and guess what...STILL no mention about any Rank Rewards...so Im even LESS motivated to do #########... Before I had my own self pride and self motivation because I did fairly well or occasionally really well in my games...now? The game is gonna be laughing at my "pitiful" attempts to do anything in a match.
-
Their change to pipping is hilarious...I mean what does it really accomplish? Enjoy the lonely top I guess
-
Not worth taking except going all in for a Luck Meme Build imo

People who use extravagant or bright clothing are almost always people who seek to be seen. They are not always good, but they like to get into chases. I am definetely judging that. Especially if its a Dwight. I usually think Nea's are toxic and/or sole survivors, and I am rarely disappointed.
Heyyyy, as a Nea survivor main in the Harajuku outfit, I'm not toxic xD
-
xD Ahhh, thanks fer the chuckles

All her Pink clothing...trust me 😏

I wasn't referring to a 1 or 2 man game, he just said getting kills period. If I work for a kill then I should have it count for my ritual. Having someone DC and cuck me out of completing my ritual is pretty dumb. The one guy was on the hook dying when he DC'd and it still didn't count.
I mean that was the point of this thread about situations that are really ######### towards the Survivors, but fair enough to want credit where credit is due.
-
Suiciding on your first down and your first hook is pathetic. It still hurts just as much as DCing does. With being on Hook, the Killer has to worry about Gens and if someone goes for an unhook...when someone suicides right away it instantly lowers the playing field. People get found first/downed first and give up...that can easily snowball a game quickly
-
Some add-ons and Perks can make her, imo, on the same level as Nurse if not a smidge better. Stuff like Beads and a Gen protection build allows for insane grabs as well as a unseen/unheard threat. Nurse can still do,things other Killers can't but the fatigue and problems with whiffing a hit, making a wrong read or getting juked hit Nurse players pretty hard VS a Spirit player making a mistake.
Situational of course, but I don't think it's farfetched to say Spirit can rival the Nurse
-
That sucks D: I think every Killer I've been leveling hits BBQ and Sloppy, which I very much love!
You'll get it eventually xP. I just hate when you get webs with just basic Perks and have to go through so many before a teachable appears

@Lyro92 said:
I'm not entitled to kills? Never said I was, the difference is I earn my kills. I put in work to get the kills that I get.
LOL did you really just equate a 1 or 2 man game as putting in work with getting a Kill? xD
Found the hilarious "I'm not joking" post of the day

If I load into a 3 person game, Im playing it like normal since the Survicors still go on about like a normal game. If it's a 3 person game and a person DCs when I find em and/or down em...I just communicate I'm going to farm...if the Survivors still run away and don't wish to farm...I just hook em and end the game fast.
I'll attempt a farm if I load into a 2 person game...but again if the Survivors can't pick that up (it's easy as ######### if you get downed, picked up and the Killer smacks the gen repeatedly...you have to be slow to not understand the Killer isn't playing normally) then I just down, hook and move on.
I don't leace/DC as I want SOME BPs for the damn annoyance
-
Yep, that's why I thought of MKX's Vommit Kiss xD
-
Aby Warhammer/Warhammer 40k fans here? Papa Nurgle is VERY pleased with our new Killer
-
She's aiming to be a favorite already, up there with Spirit, Hag and Michael Myers! Depends on how it feels to actually play her but I am a SUCKER for Plagues, Diseases, Viruses, Toxins and Poisons...debuffs galore, I want moar! So thematically I Love her design. Her abikriy itself is super unique and adds a whole other level to a match...finally..she looks bloody awesome

She was so bad ass I love her. She quickly became my mk go to character. I hope she is in 11
Ive seen a pic, she is def in ML 11.
So yeaaah, hope Plague is disgusting like D'vorah is xD
-
Agreed. I've been anxiously waiting since the two teaser pictures and seeing snippets of gameplay and hearing The Plague's lore was fantastic!
-
-
Nah, not that good, but I def say don't underestimate it

Saying someone is "thicc" is stupid.
It's offensive to some people and it's just very millennial.
You seemed confused Dwight. Best go back in yer locker, pal. 💀💜
-
I already like it more than Ormond and even Yamaoka as far as gameplay design goes. Yeah sucks that it's on the Red Forest, but seems they want to play it a lil safer than risk issues like Ormond had

@FallenOrpheus said:
Do you think it's possible to use head on to free a survivor on the killers shoulders?
That would be insane if so xD Bubba Basement is gonna get VERY lonely now
-
@Sinner said:
Locker perk will be good for getting out of basement. Unhook, get in locker, wait for killer to come, stun him and run away.
I think this is a fantastic situation, not to mention could make Locker Jukes me an actual thing. Quick & Quiet into a Locker during a chase, Killer gets lost, maybe loops back BAM SUCKA!

If her perk for blocking gens is only one use, than I will be sad. I like infectious fright though.
Solidarity might be a good meta perk. Goodbye self-care.
Poised - not really good, but will be helpful for stealth build.
Head on - That's interesting, I think it's supposed to help you get out of the basement.
Oh and Dark Devotion seems dope.
I'd love if Intervention worked like this: 3 furthest Gens are blocked by the Entity, each successful Gen completed frees up a blocked Gen. Not sure if that be OP but unless it blocks them for a hefty amount of time, it'll be a bit weak
-
I'm really excited for Plague and Jane. Situational Perks but really unique and can add some great surprise to the game. I think Corrupt Intervention may be better than some initially boo'ing it. It has solid potential at slowing the early game down a great deal... and forcing Survivors to move towards the Killer than work on a couple Gens safely and as soon as they start the match
-
@Ihatelife said:
Solidarity might be actually a meta perk. I like this.
Poised? Not really good, but maybe will be helpful in some situations.
Head on...mhm. I think this perk is supposed to help you leave the basement when the killer is tunneling you, but I hope this perks have a cooldown. Seems op.
Head on Exhausts ya, so you can't use it or other exhaust perks till it clears. Dwight meta perk!
-
Absolutely thrilled to see how she turns out! I'm curious if her ability and/or perks will deal with the affliction of the Plague itself

It's also one of the many and varied cancer ridden crutches that is eating this game from within =D
LMAO, ok buddy
-
Freddy has a great ability and design that, while needing of tweaks and such...isnt completely useless. Some Perks really shine with him and essentially you be a right old bastard with him xD! I'm leveling my Freddy up atm and def have a few build ideas to mess with Survivors.
While Billy can essentially perform better than Freddy, I just don't like his ability or how he plays at all & don't see myself using him much...even,if higher skilled/seasoned Survivors can bully or evade Freddy in a match...I can still enjoy what I'm doing...missing Chainsaw hits while Survivors do loops and stay close to objects...is so damn, boring and annoying imo.

Any of these perks I can use on Spirit until I get more?
Sloppy Butcher is really good for many Killers.
Ruin you can never go wrong with.
Haunted Ground paired with Ruin allows you to protect your Ruin totem a lil, and gives you a chance for a insta down or even 2 downs if you get lucky. I've had someone pop Haunted Ground while I was in a chase a few times.
BBQ for points and some tracking potential is NEVER a bad idea.
If you're able to unlock or work towards Discordance, Make Your Choice and Devour Hope, they really shine for Spirit.
-
Whatcha running? I see Rancor and Ruin, tho can't see enough of the top slot to say what else xD
EDIT: OMEGALUL, my Daily Ritual came in...what a coinky dink. Also two DBD players I watched uploaded Spirit videos earlier this night...Spirit is now an,official Holiday me thinks!

Second best in the game
Agreed, I'd say with certain Perk builds and Add-ons that she can rival Nurse. Beads with Generator Perks/Awareness can really shutdown Survivors on Gens. I know Billy has a built in Insta-down and can have great map pressure, but Spirit is just far more unpredictable and able to deal with chases and loops far better....more fun to play as & against.......better looking too
-
Spirit is my favorite Killer hands down. Esp with my Totem/Hex Roulette build! This was my latest match and ooooh finally getting Devour Hope to 5 stacks and getting 3 Mori Kills is just paradise!
-
Ahhh this topic again

Btw. Stake Out is the best counter to Ruin. Almost entirely negates it.
That's a very good point actually. Just need to get the stacks for it, but a sweet perk if Ruin isn't found or to jus not waste time on it. Detective T-T-Tapp is on the job!
-
I just hate when a Killer messes up on where to carry me, or I got downed in a good spot to not be hooked...and I have a damn pixel left on the wiggle bar and they get to Hook me after wiggling for what seemed like forever.
-
Body Blocking and Looping? Seriously you consider that offensive xD I'm a Killer main and I find that pretty silly to be upset/offended by.
I've personally never seen gentapping but I find that utterly dumb of a survivor to do....just do the gen normally and deal with Ruin or go get the Hex Totem...should be a built in mechanic to counter that very lame & cowardly tactic.
I dunno what cheating would be, as I play on console, so I have nothing on that.
-
Trapper, Wraith and Hillbilly need updated Mori animations first. Be cool for some different ones to spice things up, be cool for Map based Mori where you can do something different based on the surrounding area
-

@Nikkiwhat xD if only they had bt and we’ll make it XD
We'll Make It is hands my favorite Perk. My Survivor main Nea runs both of those and oh Gods, thst healing speed is orgasmic xD!
I just hate people running to unhook that have neither, wish I could emote them to back teh hell off...or if Survivors could see teammate's Perks...
I also hate when I unhook and they make a B-Line outta there (most often when Killers are far way or distracted) and I'm like "GET BACK HERE SO I CAN FASTBHANDS HEAL YOUUUU! D:< " I swear everytime. When I do get em to stop, they're flabbergasted at my heal speed!
-
I'm semi ok with Totems.....IF THEY DIDN'T SPAWN NEXT TO GENERATORS IN PLAIN SIGHT!
-
B-but mah Borrowed Time and We'll Make it D:
*scratches altruistic ticks and twitches*
MUST UNHOOK!
-
I do just fine using Spirit Fury without Enduring. Sure it adds jus a lil bit more to when you get stunned, but I rather have 3 other Perk slots used for other Perks.
