I don’t think boons are that strong at all, I never even use them.

You honestly should’ve been doing your objective instead of worrying about a red glyph.

Dead Hard isn't strong because it rewards bad play.
A bad player with Dead Hard is still a bad player.
Dead Hard is strong because good players can use it in various ways (get to a pallet or window/DH over a trap/force a BT hit/eat a hit for a friend/eat a power/etc).
Some of those are crazy skillful actions (ie tanking a hatchet for your pal on death hook or dodging in a way that doesn't validate but allows for the swing to proc your pal's BT).
It provides a lot of options for a single perk, which, until validation is tweaked, have grown exponentially.
I only have a problem with DH over traps and using it to get to a window or pallet, but other than that it’s pretty easy to play around.
-
It’s annoying when survivors DH to a window or pallet but if they use it to dodge a hit than they got rewarded there.
-
Sole survivor is one of the most useless perks in the game. Idk how it's not been changed yet.

adrenaline vial is a very busted add on, so is alchemist ring I don't even know how they made it to the live version.

It’s so pathetic at this point. Why does this game run so poorly???

I actually wouldn't. Take flashlight clicking - using it to get the killers attention, to chase you - because you know you're good at looping for example, that can be seen as gameplay. The killer has a choice to ignore it of course (which I usually do cos you tend to find these players don't often go sit on gens, so it's one less person to worry about completing the objective). Yes some players will find this frustrating - but in essence these things are pretty much part of the game.
There’s killers who get so mad when someone clicks or teabags once. Like they take it too seriously.
-
No perk determines how good or bad a player is.
-
SWF is not going anywhere ever. And you can’t really blame people for playing on comms because solo sucks.
-
Oh no not another us vs them thread.
-
I’m sure they’ll add breakable walls like every other map rework.
-
Sluzzy must be really popular, looks like a lot of people here have played with/against them.
-
the Blights I go against tend to run those same builds.
-
It's not happened to me, my DS skill check comes up before the wiggle. But I haven't played in like a week so maybe it's starting to happen to a lot of players.

The great zones don't give a flat bonus, they increase the progression speed of the wiggle bar for a short duration. They are tuned such that if you hit every single great skill check during the wiggle, you will wiggle free 1 second faster (15 seconds instead of 16 seconds). If you miss any then it'll be less than a 1 second difference.
Good discussion in here, by the way. We're taking notes on the feedback from all parts of the community, so keep it coming!
This is good to know! Thank you

That’s part of why I stopped playing Bubba, it screws up my chainsaw.

True, it was even worse with the old key + hatch system.
Funny how is always the random fault, basically the player who is not carried by any external advantage.
I surely don’t miss those days... I hated being left behind like that.

Right. Doesn't matter that much anyway, the perk is still super busted.
75% is not bad.

Yeah, I've experienced this sort of crap as solo survivor, and I've witnessed it happen to others when I play killer (no, I don't tolerate that nonsense if I can tell it's going on). Sometimes your teammates are more deadly than the killer. It really sucks.
I feel like we’ve all been in situations like that. Some survivors are just there to mess around.

To be fair. Gens are done. Where else are they supposed to be

Flashlights are annoying and i too try to equip lightborn or franklins when i see them in lobby. On the flip side, it means i might get some free hits b/c they might play aggressively.
It helps me get free hits and pallets, also when blast mine goes off you can find that survivor.

I don’t think boil over will be nerfed again, it probably won’t even be used a lot.

starstruck is the best way to go, I love punishing greedy survivors with it.

Yes, several of them and they were all wonderful.
I know I’ve played one match with you, but you’re pretty cool.

Can you imagine how many people would quit the game if SWF was taken out?? Solo queue is such a nightmare I would switch to killer full time.
-
I’ve only encountered a few cheaters. Once I was in a survivor lobby and it was just 3 survivors and the lobby was counting down which was odd because there has to be a full lobby.
we loaded into a match with 2 killers, Nemesis and Myers.

And this is what I get for using a phone with auto correct to try and explain issues it sometimes acts up so let's see what I can make from this.
First off you might as well just say go ahead and bleed people out cause first off since the mindset people have is that everyone uses ds so slugging is warranted also like I said why then should people be allowed to do this bt and ds make it so it's a lost safer to do risky tactics atm and it shouldn't be allowing more than one person to swarm a hook in the first place.
Secondly this was a bad part on wording on my end what I ment to say is that instead of trying to hide the scratch marks and hide they just run to a locker and hide making it obvious as to where they are. However, the logic you proposed make no sense. In your words then I guess the killer should just slug again or just leave them alone even though they ######### up.
Third both the fact you said this was biased and what you try to defend doesn't help your case. First off, what I said for noed the usual arguments for it being over powered is a joke since boons exist and the fact that some maps make the placement of totems terrible doesn't help either. Yet, the main issue I have is the same I said to another, as of right now the biggest issue for boons right now is the mechanic itself as long as that exist you can tweak and nerf however you like perk wise, but it will accomplish nothing due to how boons are as a whole. And yes while dull totems don't effect noed until it's activated it is still a one and done risk vs reward perk unlike boons which can be reused over and over again.
And yes ds does reward survivor mistakes just like most meta now since most of them do not reward survivors for chases, gens and such instead a good chunk of the most used perks that survivors use reward them for getting caught or getting hit which right now they might as well be called safety nets because the level of forgiveness is getting more and more apparent as time goes on.
How exactly does DS reward survivors for their mistakes when it punishes killers for tunneling??
-
I like the new wiggle better but I think the great skill ckecks should go.
-
Just keep playing

Welcome back

I may be in the minority but I think NOED is fine. All it does is remove 1 health state at the end of the game from survivors who get multiple extra health states and undeserved second chances ALL GAME LONG. And now with Boons in play, the likelihood of NOED surviving to the end game is even lower. I would be in favor of completely removing NOED and most second chance perks (other than BT).
NOED is not even that good of a perk anyway. Sure boons lower the chances of it activating but even if it comes into play, most good survivors will just leave and let the killer have their 1k.

It will only make camping and tunneling even more of a neccesity...
As if killers already didn’t camp and tunnel enough already.

Kinda nuts people are still complaining about NOED when Rancor exists. Rancor might need extra supporting perks to be consistent but it's just straight up deleting people at the endgame instead of hooking them.
it’s kinda BS that killers can mori someone just because they’re the obsession. They should at least have to earn it.

They first announced this two (three now?) years ago
They can talk all they want but until there is an actual, concrete patch being downloaded to our consoles and everyone gets a chance to run it and see that it isn't a lie, they're gonna have to forgive me if I Press X to Doubt on these claims.
I am of the mind that BHVR was overly optimistic rather than flat out lying to people but the end result is the same no matter which way it was. Last gen is getting left in the dust and I personally do not believe it will be something that they will actually fix.
They want people to upgrade.

I keep seeing people on ps5 mention random performance issues they're having with DBD. When I finally get a ps5 I won't bother installing DBD - it's bad enough there's performance issues in a 6 year old game on ps4, I'm not about to deal with that on a new ps5.
I wouldn’t blame you tbh, I’ve never seen other games suffer on console as much as DBD.

I think we'll have full cross progression before they stop officially supporting the ps4 etc versions
The technology to do it is there, BHVR accounts and such
I currently play on XB1 and would love to transfer my progress to my PS5. I’m not giving up hope.

I don’t see a huge issue with buffing solo to make it less of a nightmare though.
