I like the idea but some of these challenges won't be worth the reward, ya know? I'll offer better reward values because getting 1000 hooks or unhooks will take awhile, especially for the survivors since you are competing with other survivors.DaniDa85 said:What do you guys think about challenges for the game with 3 Stages
Stage 1 : 5000 BP and 50 Shards
Stage2 : 20000 BP and 100 Shards
Stage 3 : 50000 BP and 250 ShardExample:
For Survivor
Stage 1: Get 50 Unhooks
Stage 2: get 500 Unhooks
Stage 3: get 1000 UnhooksFor a Killer
Stage 1: get 50 Survs Hooked
Stage 2: 500
Stage 3: 1000And so on with nothing character Specific i have many ideas for that ( chase/ beeing chased, repair/ destroy gens....)
And at Least we have a few statistics for the game
Feel free to discuss that
Stage 1: 500 Shards and 100,000 BP
Stage 2: 1,000 Shards and 250,000 BP
Stage 3: 2,000 Shards and 1,000,000 BP
(Rewards will go above the BP cap but you cannot earn anymore BP until you are below the cap)
Killer:
Stage 1: 25 Hooks
Stage 2: 50 Hooks
Stage 3: 100 Hooks
Survivors:
Stage 1: 10 Unhooks
Stage 2: 20 Unhooks
Stage 3: 40 Unhooks -
I'll admit that I've done some things I shouldn't have done when I play DBD and I understand there are consequences for my actions. However, the amount of false reports I get by playing a strong killer is out of control @powerbats. Like we're talking about enough to discourage me to from even touching my killer because my reputation will plummet!powerbats said:Oh good grief the whiny childishness of some of you on here, oh no I'm going to be banned for false reports, what rubbish. The only ones that say that nonsense most of the time and that most of the community deserves to be punished are those that actually have been doing something wrong.
In over 30 years of gaming I've never once been falsely banned ever for the childish rubbish I'm seeing spouted here. The rabble doesn';t determine what's ban worthy either and all the people spituting the nonsense know it.
If anything they're just spouting that nonsense because they've probably done something ban worthy so they can complain they got unfairly banned. If you've done nothing wrong you won't get coal in your email inbox but judging by some of your posts you're getting a very large chunk of coal soon.

Yes, I been playing a lot of Spirit and I feel like she's pretty close in power to the Nurse. If not she is exactly as power as the Nurse if you are great at tracking. If you don't agree with me, what separates the spirit and the nurse?xXNurseXx said:@Nickenzie said:
Are you a nice Nurse? I see some nurses abusing their power and play extremely unfun when they don't have to as they are the strongest killer in the game. Example: Whenever someone farms another survivor, I'll down the farmed survivor to make the farmer lose benevolence then go after the farmer. Usually the farmer gets hooked and the farmed survivor gets back up since really it wasn't his fault that he got down.
yes im a nice nurse. most of the time i down the farmed surv (just like you) then down the surv who farmed him, teleport back to the farmed surv where usually another one is already trying to heal him and also slug the surv whos trying to heal him.
so now there are 3 guys on the ground.I just hook like 2survs while the 4th surv healed up another one but i already won the game at this point with 2 survs hooked and the other two trying to heal/getting their friends unhooked.
its always the same but i love it so much

Blinding a killer during the pick-up animation.
In order for you to be able to blind a killer, you must be aiming the beam at them for nearly all of the animation. From the start to finish, about 90% of it.You seriously need to learn to paraphrase. That fact that you actually break your post up into "chapters" says everything. Make your point and be on with it. Anyway, this little snippet is just bizarre. Killers already have ample answers to being flashlight blinded while picking up a survivor. It isn't easy to sneak in range of a killer picking up a survivor especially since you don't know which direction the killer will actually face while doing so. Even if you do, timing it just right so it blinds after the survivor is all the way on the shoulder isn't very easy.
So the skill and difficulty level for the survivor is already quite high. The killer has multiple answers including finding and chasing off any nearby survivors with flashlights, facing into a wall or opposite direction of the would-be savior so they don't have time to get into position, or using perks such as franklin's demise or lightborn if flashlights are shown in pre-game lobby. So why should this aspect of the game be nerfed? It's already in the killers hands if they give survivors the opportunity to flashlight save.

They could have just easily summarized what they were talking about.
TL;DR
Flashlights will almost instantly blind killers when they are NOT in a animation.
Flashlights can perform free saves (Like that one broke update) if you just have the beam on the killer for 90% of the pick up animation.
Direct flashlight buffs such a wider beam and add on reworks.

There are more things I'd like to say but I think you get the point. Most actions in this game are mistaken as being TOXIC which leads to more toxicity. Consequently, is why I gave this community an 8. -
Love the concept, basically the survivor needs to have the beam on the killer during 90% of the pick up animation to perform a save. You don't need to have timing, you just need to make sure you have the beam on the killer for 90% of the pick up animation. The killer can move their PoV away from the survivor before the pick up animation so the survivor won't get beam on the killer for more than 90%! Brilliant, love it and I wanna say your threads are very well thought out!

They could increase the corn density and then decrease the height of the corn. You'd still be covered if you are crouching but standing will make you visible to the killer.Warlock_2020 said:Why? It is already hard enough to play the stealth game for most survivors. You want to take away natural cover now as well? I have to hunt like a T-Rex because I don't see the scratch marks. I look for movement. Corn is easy to see movement in if you pay attention.
I don't get the constant want to take away from the survivors by killers in this game. Yes, I know toxic SWFs can wreck a match, but most games are not that way. It is not hard to 3k a match. As much complaining as I hear on these boards, I'm won't be surprised when killers want half the survivors to start on hooks, while getting the bp for those hooked survivors. Bleh

1.) Mind's Vision: You can sense danger from a far due to your previous encounters. When a generator is completed, 1/2/3 random totems are revealed to you for 10/20/30 seconds. When the last generator is powered, all totems are revealed to you for the reminder of the trial.chemical_reject said:Ok so there's perks for killers that invokes totems and I think it's about time survivors get totem related perks. Here's some random ideas for these. Can't think of names but here's descriptions
1. Survivors have the ability to see all totems for (blah/blah/blah) seconds everytime a gen pops (or another survivor goes down maybe?)
2 u cleanse totems (blah/blah/blah) seconds faster BUT the entire time ur cleansing the killer sees ur aura.
3 all survivors see a random totem for (blahblahblah) seconds when ur cleansing a totem BUT the killer sees all survivors auras for (blah/blah/blah seconds)
2.) Nervous Quirks: You're nervous when it comes to performing actions. Gain a permanent 3%/6%/9% action speed increase but your crippling quirk makes you easy to detect. If the killer is outside a 16/24/32 meter range and you are performing an action, the killer will be able to read your aura.
3.) Catacomb Walker: You have vision that others don't have. See the auras of totems within 8/16/24 meters to you but when a totem is revealed to you, your aura and a random survivor aura is revealed to the killer. The random survivor will also see the killer's aura until you're not in range of a totem.
How are these?

They were talking about killer's in general. For example, they can buff the trapper's trap's base repair time and rework Hangman's Trick for something else. This can free a perk for the trapper when you see a sabo Jake squad.Vietfox said:@Nickenzie said:

Huntress has already slow movement speed and lacks of keeping pressure high on large maps. Speeding up the reload would save so many seconds if u think about how often u reload. Also, imagine getting out of hatches during a chase. Not only u have to walk sometimes really far away to reload, but also it takes long. By that time any survivor with a few braincells is long time gone.
Don't get me wrong, huntress is a strong killer, high tier Imo. But we all know how easy it is to genrush a huntress, especially on huge maps. The speedup reload should be a baseline to compensate her slow movement speedHonestly, a perk shouldn't see use by a single killer because it boosts their power. I'd remove the effect that Iron Maiden has on the Huntress and then increase the Huntress' base reload speed if it's deemed too slow. The developers plan, (at least I think they do) to remove the NC effect on the doctor's power so they can add the part that makes NC good on the doctor as baseline (seeing survivors snapping out of it). This frees a perk for the doctor while getting the benefit of good part of the perk. Here's a quote from @Janick that explains things better than I can.
Janick said: This will allow us to tweak the base power of a killer much better, without fear of breaking his build when a players use a certain perk. Yeah, because the huntress is not viable enouh lol.

Quick story, I love being slugged. There has been times where I was on death hook but the killer wanted that amazing 4k so he slugged me. Eventually he found the last survivor and sacrificed him while I crawled away. The killer couldn't find me which gave me enough time to find the hatch and escape. If the killer would have picked me up, I wouldn't have a chance to escape. Think of slugging as a second chance to survive because you're not losing a hook state unless the killer finds you.BlackendSea said:How am I not supposed to DC when the killer decides to slug? Can we not start a hour measuring contest? I'm just saying that we should be careful on what information we should hide, that's all. Sure, I don't mind Third Seal, Ruin, and Lullaby being hidden but anything exposed related should be brought to a survivor's attention. MYC is fairly balanced as a exposed perk and now imagine not knowing the killer has MYC (The exposed notification doesn't appear and you don't make a grunt when unhooking a survivor). Same goes for NOED, it's supposed to help poor killers/players secure a kill in end game, telling everyone it's active will make everyone leave immediately and the killer wont be able to use it.and also different ranks shouldn't have different rulesets, thats ridiculous.
You should know if you're exposed period. I feel like you don't understand how powerful the exposed status effect really is for some reason. It's a tide turner, you can win games from it in a blink of an eye. Quick story, I was playing Huntress and I started to use my hatchets to damage survivors when I reached 3 tokens since it doesn't give the survivors a exposed notification. Once I reached 5 tokens, I instadowned everyone and mori'd them all with ease. What's the lesson learned? I literally cannot stress how strong exposed is when you don't see it coming.

I have 2500 hours in this game I know exactly how powerful exposed effect is, I don’t think NOED should even be in the game but devour is fine and would make it an even weaker perk if it notifies people at 3 tokens.
huntress has insta down hatchets that match LITERALLY could have been worse for them.
Let's assume, they added my idea (please bare with me). Devour Hope can be buffed where you can mori survivors at 4 tokens instead of 5 tokens and NOED, well NOED just needs a rework since it promotes poor gameplay like DS. Add that in with the rumors about better totem placement and we are talking about a fair table here. Sure, some things can be changed but you get the idea. -

I'll like to see Surveillance, Hangman's Trick, and Vigil get some love.
Surveillance:
You're aware of your belongings. Whenever a survivor interacts with a generator for 25/20/15 seconds, the generator's aura will be changed to white for 10 seconds. You have supernatural feeling of when something is off; there's a 0/25/50% change you'll receive a visual notification when a survivor interacts with a regressing generator.
Hangman's Trick:
Unique modifications to your hooks make them deadly. Whenever a survivor sabotaged a hook, it will repair itself 50/75/100% faster than normal. Additionally, sabotaging is dangerous; healthy survivors will take one state of damage upon sabotaging a hook.
Vigil:
You've resistance to certain effects due to your constant exposure. Start the trial with 1/2/3 tokens and whenever you'd receive a negative status effect, instead lose a token and you cannot receive a negative status effect for the next 5 seconds.

Yes, the endgame needs to support both stealthy and aggressive play styles since sometimes you have to be stealthy or aggressive.ShrimpTwiggs said:I like the idea. Kind of adds a whole new layer of gameplay, which is something I think this game has needed for a while now. Definitely preferable to the hatch staring contest we get now. I avoid that crud as much as possible.
Aggressive Example: Looping a Doctor while collecting tears of light by walking into them.
Stealthy Example: Hiding from a Nurse whIle collecting tears of light by walking into them.
