  • Remove Billy's "Roar" is the only one I agree with and Billy is one of my mains.

there is no reason they should exist. hatch shouldnt even spawn before 1 survivor is left. that was the purpose of hatch, to give the last survivor a second chance of winning. not so a whole braindead team could get really lucky and happen to have a key and all escape. and no they are not rare, i literally have hundreds of purple keys and skeletons keys. them being rare is not an excuse for bad game design.

I agree, remove keys and nerf Killers to compensate.

I cannot be the only one who is sick of being thrown against red ranks when I'm a green rank. Like I play this game for fun, not to have to try hard.

So what if we just split the casuals from the try hards? Make a ranked and an unranked. Unranked can go on level instead or something.

When MMR is turned back on this will all be solved.

Soooo no one is going to mention Smash Hit?

Smash Hit needs a buff. It should give a 4 second burst of speed for a pallet stun and a 3 second burst of speed without a pallet stun.

I also think Head-On should give a 4 second stun, specifically because that would make it very useful for getting out of the basement, where no other exhaustion perk really does that. Right now, a 3 second stun just ends with you going back into the basement.

No, I had others throughout the day. I didn't want to post something without being able to provide evidence to back up my claims and this was the one I screenshotted. Plus, he was the only one to use multiple accounts to message me.

I did block them. They made multiple accounts to message me on Xbox.

If I were in a better mood, I'd think it was hysterical how rent-free I live in their heads, but I'm not.

If I could make an analogy it's like baking someone a cake. You didn't have to, nobody asked you to, but you'd like to be nice. They tell you that the cake is ######### and isn't good enough, then they berate you for an hour.

Confirmation bias. You wanted to prove that survivors would be toxic to you even if you didn't camp/tunnel and when a survivor did, you confirmed your own bias.

I play this game all the time and I don't see much toxicity. Sure there's a tiny bit, but it's really not wide-spread. Then again, I don't see survivors tea-bagging at the gate or survivors clicky-clicking me as toxic either, it's people being exuberant at escaping a match, they're hyped on adrenalin.

Now on the other hand, when people start typing stuff at the end of the match, yes, that usually is toxic. Now if you did actually tunnel/camp people, which is toxic, then you kind of have to expect to get toxicity in return. But if they're typing to you without you doing that, then they are being toxic.

If you want to be scientific about it, then keep track of it today. Play 100 games as survivor and 20 games as killer. Write down when survivors message you after the game or prolong the game by hiding in lockers. Then write down when the Killers message you after the game, or face-camp or proxy-camp/tunnel, or slug the entire team and let them die, or set you down in front of the hatch then close it.

i've always seen P3 Quentin as more viable for stealth than a P3 Claudette....a rare breed they are for sure, but when I have one in my game, I always lose them!

Quentin was only good when he had the Gollum face. Plus he's loud.

For stealth, I think Adam is king and he's relatively quiet when he's hurt. Although Tapp might be better because he's a bit more quiet.

However, built in Iron Will Ace is hard to pass up.

Immersed play is totally ok. If a killer can't find you, then he's already lost the chase before it began!

So a rank 1 killer had downed everyone but me and one other after they had tunneled the entire match as blight then instead of hooking the other they let them up and the other survivor pointed me out where I was to them. Isn't that an offense that can get them banned? Not to mention really crap play on both their sides. Seriously players like that should be kicked out of the game after I made that report I hope they actually do something about people like that.

I had the exact same thing happen. Was 1 of 2 survivors left and the survivor brought the killer to me, then gave the other survivor the hatch. I had done 3 of the 4 gens, yet that survivor just brought the killer to me and got the bloodpoints of the hatch. Sucks.

What's low- skill about tunneling (not the tunneling of just ignoring everything to get one person, but the tunneling of there's an injured person off hook ima hit them).

Camping I agree, because it's meant to be detrimental to the killer to face camp. They are meant to depip doing this.

But both of these "strategies" require skill to be pulled off effectively (knowing when to use them) and to call them low skill is kinda reductionistic.

Tunneling, meaning you either face-camp or proxy-camp a survivor you hooked, so you can down them immediately after they get off the hook, to down them again because they only have 1 health state and aren't able to hide or juke from you because of the blood and noise. Then you do it again to get them out of the game.

That is by the very definition low-skill. It's easy, it takes no effort and it tremendously rewards you as Killer for doing it. Instead of learning to actually play the game, the killer is exploiting a tactic that every killer learns and masters in yellow-ranks. It's the easiest thing you can do as killer and it's a crutch for actually learning more advanced tactics and techniques. Why learn to mind-game when you can tunnel someone out of the game in the first minute. Why learn the intricacies of your killers power if you win the game after tunneling someone out of it in the first minute. You can basically be an M1 killer on any killer, because there's no skill needed after that.

Lets face it, this game is won at 3 gens, 3 survivors. And tunneling is a nice easy way for killers to exploit a yellow-rank mechanic to undeservedly rank up you red-ranks, where there are killer players that actually deserve that rank, because they took the time to learn the game instead of exploit it.

I think it's OK to camp tunnel if the game is over and you're losing hard, but not at the start of the game

I agree and disagree. If you have a low-skill tactic you can fall back on to make up for mistakes, do you really learn anything. However, on the other side of that, playing Killer has a very high stress level because there are so many things you are juggling, far more than survivor, so getting frustrated and falling back to those tactics is understandable.

I don't mean to be rude, but I don't know if you're implying that it's a player responsibility to ensure that other people are enjoying themselves.

The amount of streams I've played back where a Survivor group treats me like a punching bag is too much to count. Most people do not care about your fun, they care about theirs. This isn't a surprise and it isn't a bad thing. The game is competitive in nature and it brings out the worst in people. You can't really blame a single person for valuing their own fun over a group of other people who most of the time, do not give a crumb of compassion to the opposition.

I've seen the same defence of "but I'm nice, I care about the other sides fun!", but most people don't really care that much, if not at all. I wish everybody was like that, but it'll never be the case, because it's not their responsibility. In this context of course.

It's not the player's responsibility to ensure other people's enjoyment. However, it is the Developers responsibility to ensure every players enjoyment. And allowing one player to completely prevent another player from being able to play a game through camping/tunneling needs to be addressed by the Developers. Decisive Strike and Borrow Time, do not and have never, fixed this issue. Killer players are literally rewarded for using low-skill/no-skill yellow rank tactics and toxicity to ruin another players experience.

I've always thought the Wraith was an average killer, C-tier. Most people called him a D-Tier, but he really never was. However, with the buff, he's solidly a high A-Tier.

I have played 1k hours as survivor and 2k hours as killer. My winrate as killer is MUCH higher than survivor. All killers are viable, DBD is a public match, if I can get a 4k as a rank 1 while being a potato at nurse, I can also get a 0k while playing one of my mains.

I dont always need gen defense, I only use it when I see toolboxes or when I see/suspect a 3-man or 4-man(often both tbh, I rarely solo and duo's with toolboxes). I rarely tunnel and camp unless I absolutely need to do one to make sure someone is dead or dead on hook.

Yeah, the foundation against a 4-man godsquad is hard on killer, but guess what? The foundation of the game for solo survivor against an average killer is even worse. I can play killer with a 85% winrate(3k or more, or a 2k while giving mercy due to DC/tome challenge, essentially, any game where I decide who escapes and who doesnt is a win by default, any game where I get a 3k and I dont decide if the last one escapes is also a win, a 2k and 2 escapes that I didnt let happen is a tie, simple as that). But my survivor winrate is quite low. Not my escape rate, my escape rate is about 70%, but the winrate where 3 survivors escape? during solo survivor, that's practically impossible.

So yeah, taking solo survivor into consideration(and thus, the lack of communications), and all killers are viable, if not somewhat overpowered. Look only at 4 man SWF deathsquads, and only 3 killers are viable.

    ^^This

Killers get put against 1 "Death Squad" and only remember the 0k they got and think the game is not balanced, yet forget about the other six 4ks, 3ks, 2ks and 1ks. People's egos are to inflated to accept the fact that they aren't as good as top tier killers, so the game must be survivor sided, even though the data shows Killers having a 60 to 70% win rate. I've even kept an excel document for several patches and got the exact same data as show by the developers, the game is definitely giving me about a 60 to 70% win rate.

Ruin, undying, tinkerer, and BBQ are literally the best perks you can possibly use on Blight, and for good reasons. However it does seem to irritate people quite a bit for being such a common and annoying build. But why ask Blight players to stop using it when it is an amazing perk combination?

Ruin and undying obviously work well because of the Blight's insane map mobility and act as a fantastic slowdown when used.

Tinkerer works on those two by alerting you of an almost completed generator, allowing you to scare survivors off of it and having it regress a great deal of progress as well as possibly getting a sneaky hit or even down. And since Blight has insane map pressure, you are almost guaranteed that the generator you arrive to that procced tinkerer will regress for a good long while.

And finally BBQ for obvious reasons of course, but is especially good on Blight considering he can instantly head on over to any survivor seen with BBQ immediately.

It is a setup that allows Blight players to have time, the element of surprise, and tracking. It is literally the best possible build this killer can have, and the better a Blight player is the more use they will get out of all of these perks.

Why would you even use anything else if this build has everything you need? It would be like asking Oni players to not run infectious fright or asking Wraith players to not use sloppy butcher.

There is literally no reason not to use these perks.

    This is how nerfs happen.

The big 3 in DBD (Nurse, Spirit, Blight) all have movement abilities on very short cooldowns. 2 former heavy hitters (Freddy and Billy before nerfed into uselessness) each had movement abilities. Heck, some people (who don't know what they are talking about, but still) are starting to mention Wraith in the same breath as the big 3.

Except for Freddy (who has a teleport that doesn't take setup, and will usually take you directly to a survivor), all the most powerful characters have "on-demand" movement abilities that don't take preparation and can be used to go anywhere.

Characters with wonky/contingent movement abilities are not S tier. Characters without movement abilities are not S tier. Is not having on-demand movement abilities an automatic sign that a killer won't be powerful? What would it take for a character without movement abilities to be S tier? I'm not even sure a character who would automatically hit every survivor in his terror radius when M1ing one survivor could be S tier, because there is still a complete lack of map pressure.

Billy and Freddy are in the top 5. The nerfs to both really didn't hurt them. A good Billy will have all 4 survivors on the ground in less than 2 minutes, the only other killer to be able to do that is Nurse.

I can't get over all the moaning about Billy, it's just ridiculous. Billy is freaking fantastic and anyone saying he isn't is lying.

Nurse needs totally reworked, she's hard to learn, but once you learn her, there's nothing that anyone can do against her. Spirit needs some type of indicator as to what she's doing so survivors have the ability to counter play her. Once Spirit has that, she'll be weaker than both Freddy and Billy, but will still be an A-tier killer. S-Tier killers are killers that need nerfed.

Moonwalking and hoping your opponent falls for it isn't good advice. Nor does it make that type of tile any better. Especially, ESPECIALLY, on a map where you can run from one LT to another LT right next to it. That means a Survivor can ALWAYS just "hold W" when they suspect you might be doing a moonwalk, and viola, a totally new LT & reset on the chase.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2451132#Comment_2451132

Saying the removal of INFINITES is a Survivor nerf is technically true, but if you don't realize how silly you look just by saying that, then I don't know if we can hold a conversation. Nerfing something that used to actually INFINITE a Killer, into no longer being able to do that, doesn't even REMOTELY imply that this thing is now "fair".

Imagine this in the context of anything else.

"Ryu can no longer shoot unblockable Hadokens that do 100% of your life bar and cover up the whole screen."

Are you left thinking, "Wow, he must be fair now," or are you left thinking, "Uhhhh okay... Why was that ever a thing... Okay, so, what does it CURRENTLY do?"

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2450704#Comment_2450704

Yes, I consider LT's maybe the best looping tile in the game. If you disagree, and if the general populace disagrees, that doesn't change my opinion. I have this belief as one who plays both sides.

Why would I show you my gameplay? It would become a source of confirmation bias. Every little thing I do wrong would confirm your belief that I'm "just bad". And you'd count my mistakes, however never count the Survivor mistakes. It would be a totally useless disaster.

LT's are not only strong, but obviously strong. Most people who claim they're not even that good end up saying something like, "They become a 50/50 with mind games." And in what world is a 50/50 not innately strong in a 4v1 game where dedicating to a chase can mean 3 gens pop, and each Survivor has to be hooked 3 times in order to die?

And that's assuming they're 50/50's, which I wouldn't say they are. And, again, ESPECIALLY on maps where LT's are connected to other LT's. Those are actual infinites, barring special things like Nurse or... ... honestly, Bamboozle doesn't even counter a double LT...

You were saying Killer was easier in the past, this is a counter statement as to why it wasn't. Infinites and large maps made playing killer much harder in the past.

I only played since may 2021.

But how was killer not easier at launch, where moris worked with no hooks, and there was no perks like dead hard, BT or decisive strike?

Infinites were removed and maps were shrunk. Those are both massive nerfs to survivors.

What mentality? It's a fact. It is Survivor sided, it very much is. Well..that's the kinda the point don't ya think? You're a Survivor in a horror game against a Killer? What exactly are you expecting here?

Yes, I am a solo Survivor main. Meaning I have only played as a Solo Survivor since I started playing Survivor. I've unlocked every teachable perk for every Survivor starting from level 1 each time, DLC included and here recently I even unlocked every Adept Survivor achievement in two days as a Solo to further prove that Survivor is easy.

Have you ever played Killer? Are you trying to downplay the sheer amount of stress a Killer has to endure by comparing it to a minor issue such as potato teammates?

Killers get an average of 60% to 70% kill rate according to the last statistics.

That is killer sided by about 10 to 20 percent. If you want to say Killer is more stressful, then I'm with you on that. But the game is not survivor sided.

  • @TGB said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2450471#Comment_2450471

This type of argument is very frequently used in every discussion in every game, because it is generally a very bland and "filler" kind of point to try to make.

First - if there's a problem at the highest level, then that still means the effects bleed out into all levels. We aren't playing a different game. Additionally, the difference between the top 1% of players and the top 2% of players is so minimal, YOU yourself wouldn't even be able to identify the tiny differences. That being said, you don't really understand what you're saying when you make the "point" you're trying to make. Skillful players account for a deeper percentage than the 1% you seem to think. And frankly, the only place where Killers are having "easy games" is against newbies who don't even know what loud noise notifications are.

Killers are OP when everyone's on day 1.

But to suggest that they're up to par after that point? Well, that's just silly.

No, the effects of high level play don't filter down to lower levels of play, otherwise every game would be extremely survivor sided. Instead games are Killer sided about about 10 to 20 percent.

Skillful players actually does account for about 1% of players if not less. And that's pretty much true for every game people play.

Killers are OP because they're getting a 60% to 70% kill rate.

And yes, Killers do have it hard, but not because of getting kills since they do get more kills than survivors get escapes, but because you are having to juggle a lot of stuff. Juggling a lot of stuff is stressful but it's also fun.

  • @SilentPill said:

I think it’s easy to agree that survivor perks are significantly more game changing than killer ones. Ruin Undying? Hard countered so easily by so many things.

NOED? Killer has probably already lost the game by then. I can’t really think of anything else that’s a huge game changer for killer. Maybe tinkerer but that’s only as good as it is if ruin is up.

There’s nothing as close as impactful as perks like DS/BT/DH/Unbreakable/etc that’s for sure

Killers trying to kill rush get slapped by every survivor perk in the book but survivors can rush the gens penalty free just about

That is definitely not true, lol.

You need to play both sides before making comments like that.

  • @ShinobuSK said:

They dont care about hard tunneling either. That and genrush are strategies players are using to finish their objective as fast and as efficient as they can.

Usually people sweat like that in red ranks but lately its a norm for more and more matches to go super fast one way or other, depends on the RNG and map that is in play.

The funny thing is, if the developers fixed tunneling/camping then they could also fix faster gen speeds. Both problems are caused by each other.

All Killers know that if you get rid of 1 survivor before the last 2 gens are worked, then you've won the game. So that leads to tunneling/camping. If they fixed tunneling/camping then they could slow down gen speeds, because killers wouldn't be able to eliminate that 1 player immediately. Otherwise the gen speeds have to be fast, because the other 3 players are working to get 4 gens done before the 1st player is eliminated.

  • @throwaway79465468797 said:

Yes I'm new to the game so be it. Going to vent so feel free to leave if you're one of these campers and believe you're a tactical player.

I just played ~8 games in a row where the killer either hard camped a player or hovered near them to prevent safe unhooks. 9 times out of 10 this causes the player involved to get to 2nd phase without a chance to play the rest of the game. This is just in the early parts of the game, where maybe 1 or 2 gens are fixed. Sometimes no generators have been touched and the killer gets a lucky spawn. Then decides they will camp the body to win the game for free. Yes, for free.

4 years this game has been around. I know it's a dying game but we can see the obvious reason. If you won't balance the game for players and killers alike then people will quit playing. I'm frustrated so my point of view is biased, but not so much that I can't see how incredibly beneficial it is for the killer to simply pick a player and chase them for the whole game. Or camp them on hooks.

Especially when this could be easily resolved... and force the killer to have 60% slower actions within a radius around the hooked player. Slower movement speed is included in that debuff. Slower time to check lockers, slower time to vault, slower time to break pallets... everything should be slower.

Why is it so simple to force the killer away from the hook but yet camping is seen as a viable strategy? I guess if I get camped that means I can do the same when I play killer... but I'm telling you, that makes the game incredibly boring. No one else likes the camper and it just feeds a negative mentality, which of course eats itself and builds a very negative community around it.

I don't even care if there's not a single person here who is against camping. It is bad for the game. Don't leave it up to the community to correct this problem. 4 years in the making and this could have been fixed 3 years ago now. Such ignorance should not go to waste.

But the game is dead, so people are glad to see it waste away. Very disappointing.

The developers are balancing the game for both Killers and Survivors and have done a pretty good job on an asymmetrical game.

However, I do believe that face-camping, proxy-camping/tunneling are extremely unfair and unfun for 4/5's of the player base. Why a mechanic that literally stops a player from playing the game has not been addressed by the developers is pure laziness. This mechanic needs to be addressed by the developers before anything else is looked at.

Adding perks is not a fix, as shown by Decisive Strike and Borrowed Time, since it wastes a perk slot, that solo survivors really don't have, on the off chance you get a toxic Killer. Plus, those perks do nothing against a tunneler/camper, they just ignore it and go after the exact same player right after because they are rewarded for doing so. The reward for camping/tunneling needs to be removed.

She’ll blink right into the basement in an attempt to get precise blink. Then she is unable to blink back up… Unless you have the pocket watch to give her time to properly blink… This is REALLY annoying. At least let the point appear for a she’s going up, or down a level.

I no longer care about how strong/weak Nurse is because Pinhead can see exactly where he is going to teleport every time. Then he has an add-on that makes the chains hurt instead of slowdown. Meaning he’s essentially NURSE with Plaid Flannel. If not I’d just use Pinhead with the add on so I can see wth is going on. 😤

No. There are times when camping is a valid strat. Also, now you just want Survivors to never lose; the Killer does not have the time to re-hunt every Survivor after every hook, since your idea would make them teleport away AND basically hide where they were unhooked.

And here we go. You love camping, so nothing to fix the game will do. 🙄

Here's the thing; if Killers are not stupid, then camping will usually easily get you to Red ranks with no effort. But Killers aren't happy that it ruins the game for 80% of the player base, no; they want the game to literally punish Survivors and hold the Killers hands, so they can play sloppy AND the Killer still gets a 4K!

Glad you're not on the balance team. I'll say it again; camping is toxic, and a crutch, and your views on it do not suddenly make it none issue. Camping punishes Survivors and simply because you use it and only reply with salty and spiteful posts every time a change is proposed doesn't mean a change will never happen. In fact, most likely a change will happen.

Not to mention, when I have a teammate that is being tunnelled I will deliberately run into the killer to get them to chase/hit me instead - and when they choose not to and continue to go for the one they are tunnelling, at that point I know they are scum and I will disconnect in solidarity with the tunnelled one if they d/c.

It's bizarre to me that people think you only get tunnelled if you are bad at chases - get unhooked in sight of the killer in a dead area and you have very little chance to escape if they are tunnelling.

I would say, when hooked, the survivor randomly goes to a different hook, like Pyramid Head's cages. I would also remove the location notification when someone is unhooked, it would just give a noise notification.

I've said this already, high end MMR only benefits survivors, it will do nothing for killers but make each and every game extremely sweaty and stressful.

In high MMR every survivor will know how to run and loop, so it doesn't matter what survivor gets found first, you know you can rely on them to waste enough time to allow the other 3 to pop their gens in 1 chase. Survivors will be escaping way, way more than they will be losing.

Killer will literally having to be sweating their asses off and for what? The game will devolve into a slugging and infectious freight meta at high MMR because you will not have the time to down, pick up, and hook survivors for kills. So there will be a ton of slugging to try and combat the speed of the games.

    MMR is not needed.

And no MMR only benefits Killers. All those "skittles" matches you've had for years has you boosted. You can slug and run infectious fright, but you are right, if you do that, then that's all you'll be able to do. My suggestion is play for fun and let your MMR drop.

  • @Jasonsfar said:

For me, this SBMM has just removed all the fun in the game, when i play killer the match last around 6-7 minutes, and all escape unless i play nurse, but i don’t only wanna play nurse. If i play survivor it against Nurse,Spirit and Blight and that is just too boring … so i gotta say when this comes in it’s proberly gonna be goodbye, and say it was a fun 6000 hour ride …

All you have to do is play for fun and your MMR will adjust. You have to remember all Killers have been boosted for a very long time because they go against "skittle" players. And the MMR probably boosted you pretty high because of that. But your MMR will adjust, the more you play for fun, the more fun the game will be. The harder you try, the harder the game will be. You can either have fun or you can try and improve yourself. But remember, light weight-lifting, improving yourself hurts.

Having breakable walls showing up bright yellow just gives WoP too much visual noise and distraction. I'd like to run WoP but having breakable walls lighting up as well just kills it for me.

I mean the perk is called windows of OPPORTUNITY. What opportunity can i take from a breakable (only for killers) door??

I agree with you, it's too much visual noise for something survivors can't do anything with.

    "Can't do ######### about SWF"

In your streams you tend to camp and tunnel too much. Each time you fail to kill the last or last 2 survivors you throw a tantrum and assume it's SWF. Maybe consider that any survivor that escapes isn't part of a squad, and maybe consider that you may have not played well.

You should try playing survivor in solo queue.

Which streamer is Lord_Tony, is it Tru?

Either you weren't there, or you ignored the actual results we experienced on the PTB. I supported that idea, just for the record, but the test showed I was wrong to do so. It doesn't work.

Explain to me why my idea would not work?

  • @Artick said:

Passive: Each time your aura is revealed to the killer, the perk icon lights up for 3 seconds. This works for the entire duration of the match, regardless of tokens/state of the perk. The idea is to add more value to the perk, so you don't play with 3 perks for most of the match, if the killer has a heavy aura reading build(or just BBQ for that matter).

Active: press a button to activate the perk. After you activate it, it works just like it works now. You have 3 tokens and it blocks the next 3 aura readings. The reason is that some people may prefer to keep the 3 tokens for late-game when having your aura revealed to the killer is much more impactful than an early game. Others may have a different preference so everyone can activate the perk when they feel it is the right time. I suggest this because 3 tokens are basically nothing given how many aura reading perks the killer has, but just adding more tokens doesn't feel like the right move. Allowing survivors to activate the perk adds more depth and strategy.

Optional: add a way to replenish a few tokens. After your aura is revealed to the killer 2(or another number) times gain one more token, for a maximum of 3 tokens. Basically, after you consume the 3 you can get 3 more and that's it, then you can't get any more tokens. To replenish all 3 you'd need to have your aura revealed 3 * 2 = 6 times.

That would be a nerf because you don't know exactly when the killer is going to hook someone and because of lag. You would press the active button and would get partial use of Distortion, but the killer would see part of your aura, just like going into a locker at the wrong time shows your aura to the killer.

The test showed, conclusively, that any punishment based on proximity to the hook is unworkable. That's all there is to it. If you want killers to stop camping, propose rewards for not camping, instead of punishments for camping.

The test showed conclusively that ONE solution did not work. That's all it did.

Then the Devs gave up on trying to fix it.

  • @Orion said:

They dropped it because it was clear any solution of that variety was unworkable, due to the survivor gameplay it would invariably create. They didn't just try it once and go "well, this didn't work, so let's not try anything of this sort ever again", they concluded, like everyone else, that it was simply not a good solution.

Did they try another solution, besides the "Struggle timer is paused when a killer is within so much distance."

For example "Struggle timer is paused when a killer is within so much distance, the killer isn't in a chase, survivors are not present and it's not EGC". Because honestly, these conditions have an extremely good possibility of stopping camping.

They tried one thing and gave up.

It prolongs unwanted games. Remove it and return the old mechanic.

I say remove the skill checks and if someone wants to suicide second hook, they can just press space-bar or the action-key. The skill checks have killed me multiple times because of lag and I would have gotten off the hook if I hadn't missed the skill-check.

As for suiciding on hook, all people have to do is "Alt-Tab + Youtube", so I don't see an issue.

  • @Kinguin22 said:

So you can suicide first hook?

You know alt-tab + youtube does the exact same thing, if you want to suicide.

  • Not addressing face-camping/proxy-camping & tunneling (When both of these are used together continuously from the beginning of the match till the end). They tried a fix and just threw up their hands and never addressed it again. They were on the right track to fix it with stopping the struggle timer, but only gave it one attempt and threw up their hands. It's about the laziest thing I've ever seen.

Some of his add ons can be strong but he is still not good enough for competent swf I think.

But I am the person who finds spirit fine (strong but fine) too so you shouldn't listen to me since most people disagree on that one.

He's plenty good enough to face SWF. He's not good enough to face pro-SWF teams, just like every other killer. However, he would definitely be in the top 5 killers.

    Nurse -> Spirit -> Blight -> (Wraith / Billy)

What if it's Jebediah Morningside, aka Tallman from Phantasm.

The A is in the 7th position. There are 2 I's in his last name and 1 S in his last name.

    ---

The other theory I have is it is a code of some sort. 7A, 2I, 1S. Which could be HKT or GJS. (The numbers seems important, they posted 2 clown icons before doing the 2 i's on the Clown Stage).

H is 7 letters from A. (G if you count the letter)

K is 2 letters from I (J if you count the letter)

T is 1 letter from S (S if you count the Letter)

Just found something interesting. If you use the number of letters instead of the letters, you get 217 which is the famous "Room 217" from Stephen Kings "The Shining".

And here we go. You don't like camping, so nothing but punishments will do. 🙄

Here's the thing; if Survivors are not stupid, then camping will usually only net a 1K. But Survivors aren't happy that it depends on them playing well to punish camping, no; they want the game to literally punish Killers and hold their hands, so they can play sloppy AND the Killer still gets a 1K!

Glad you're not on the balance team. I'll say it again; camping is not toxic, or a crutch, and your views on it do not suddenly make it some huge issue for the game as a whole. Camping does not need a punishment simply because you're salty and spiteful. Every 'punishment' proposed is trash made by people who are angry, and will never happen.

Do you think camping is the only way to win a game, possibly? Just reading all of your comments, you obviously rely on camping to secure wins. However, camping is a crutch. Ask anyone and they will tell you that when you are camping, it means you are losing the game as a killer. Camping is a crutch strategy that is handicapping your game play. When you fall back on a strategy used by "Green" ranked killers, how do you expect to learn strategies that will improve your game play.

Sure camping will get you to red ranks, but it gets you to red rank without truly earning that ranking. It's a simplistic strategy to artificially boost your ranking. If you watch streamers, you don't see them camping, because they've learned better strategies that allows them to win games. The better strategies are harder to pull off but show a skill at the game, that campers never learn.

As I've said before, camping not only is about survivors, it's also a handicap that unskilled killers fall back on instead of learning better strategies. It needs to be discouraged and this is from someone that plays both Killer (who doesn't camp) and Survivor.

When I play a normal killer I see occasionally a survivor that tbags or click, i guess half of the times just to get your attention, not necessarily to be toxic so I don't really care.

But when I play a meme build like t1 Myers in a bad map at least half of survivors know that you are indefensible and will click and tbag nonstop through the whole match for no other reason than to be toxic, there's where you see the true colors of people.

I don't get any pleasure for being toxic for no reason, maybe against people that have been toxic before as some sort of "karma" but i really don't understand why so many people enjoy being bad for no reason to other people. They can't all be sadists or sociopaths, that would be a proportion that doesn't equate to the maybe 5% in the real world. So why? If anyone of you can explain why you do this, someone that doesn't do this as "revenge" if possible, please do.

When I play Killer and Survivors do that, it doesn't bother me. I really think that, for players that it bothers, that it's actually good for you because it teaches you to have a thicker skin. I honestly think that BHVR should give Killers and Survivors taunts just to help players develop a thicker skin when playing games.

Maybe I'm an old man, but even when I was young, this kind of stuff never bothered me and I'm seriously worried for the next generations because they are way-way over-sensitive about this stuff.

Racism is bad. Bigotry is bad. Someone butt-dancing in front of you is absolutely nothing.
