It's very possible, but remember, the devs followed Stephen King (and I think King followed back) right around when the new IT movie came out and nothing came of it. Don't get your hopes too high.
The Devs following someone doesn’t mean anything but the actor of a horror icon following the Devs the same day he follows the new movie that he’s said to be in is something to think about.

Candyman is the one character that I want in this game before I’m comfortable saying that it’s met my horror fanboy expectations. To be honest, I want him more than I want Jason, which really is saying something.

The first prototypes were disemboweling people, and even as a young child, he was imagining designs that would torture his bullies. Hell, one of his lore images have him testing the Redeemer in a guy (and I say testing, because the guy is caught, so clearly he doesn’t need it to catch him):
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/118/I8GVUR0HFFRA.jpg
Yes, there was certain discussion about the bounty hunter gang, but that is because they were bounty hunters and as I said, Caleb was a pragmatic person (which is why he made his weapon less lethal, because the deal was to bring people alive), so he probably didn’t do too much unlawful stuff, but that still doesn’t make him good. Yes, some saw them as justice seekers, but there is a reason for the other part of the article.
The last paragraph don’t confirm anything, given that Zarina had a similar vision of the corpse of her father, so the Entity was just using that spot to manipulate both of them, one to attract him and the other to ######### her, but is no confirmation that anything that Caleb is seeing in the Realm is like that.
Rin may not be 100% faithfully to the image of an onryō (although I think she is, we know that magic exist outside of the entity), but that doesn’t mean that she doesn’t share some of their attributes, like being in a constant state of rage and feeling hatred against the world and everyone else for their fate. We saw in the archives how her familiar ties with the Oni made her lash out against people in rage and had unwanted thoughts that didn’t made sense with her personality, so she is now like that, 100% of the time, so full of rage and hatred that she doesn’t care about anything but making anyone suffer.

I'm sure the devs called them "Entity touched eyes"
From what I remember, this allows the Entity to see directly through the Killers eyes and see the trial from their perspective. Why the Entity gave them to few select killers is unknown.
The other theory floating here is that it's a cloud pulled over their eyes, making them see what the Entity wants them to see, otherwise they wouldn't chase survivors so passionately.
For Rin, It's her father
For Caleb, It's wanted outlaws/Henry Bayshore/The Warden
For Max Jr, possibly his parents, even though he killed them already, he's not very smart and could easily be tricked into thinking they are still around and he of course, wants to slaughter them.
For phillip, his boss. His boss is the only person in existence he would genuinely hurt considering he made him snap, otherwise he was just a normal guy. The Entity needs to give Wraith some form of motivation and that's it.
I don't think Herman's eyes are Entity touched, I just think it's the sheer amount of electricity flowing through him manifesting in his eyes.
Other Killers don't really need to be Entity touched. Trapper was tortured enough and had a twisted mind anyway so he just kills because the Entity essentially replaced his father as his leader figure. Plague sees survivors as infidels who need to be sacrificed to her god, the Entity. Nurse could have the eyes but we don't know, she snapped and went insane anyway. Clowns eyes are blacked out, that tells me he's already fit for killing, the same as Huntress, who also has black eyes.
Thanks for referencing the Entity touched eyes that the devs refer to, that was something I should have brought up way sooner to back up my point.
In response to the image, Caleb was testing it out on a man that was robbing a Chinese laundry. Consider the Wild West: robbery was a crime that was punished with hanging. Like I said, morally gray. He's not evil and punishing outlaws and thieves doesn't make him evil. I guess we have different notions of morality because I grew up on Westerns and to me, Caleb is the pinnacle of what it means to be a very morally gray hero.
The last paragraph does confirm everything, not just with Caleb but with Zarina. Thanks for bringing her bit in, it makes my point stronger. The Entity manipulates the people it brings into its realm by any means possible, for Zarina she saw her dad and was taken in the moment of her grief, making her vulnerable. With killers, it tortures some (Trapper, Wraith, Hag), it lets some kill for fun (Ghostface, Clown, Shape), it lies to others (Spirit, Deathslinger, Plague). By discounting the Entity and its ability to bend reality to suit its needs, we're ignoring a power and skill it has. By discounting its ability to pull the wool over the eyes of those it knows it can use to provide for itself, we are reducing the character to a one-note, cliched space tyrant. It's not. It's a mind breaking horror of unimaginable power and prowess. In turn, we also devalue the character of Caleb by making him a heartless serial killer when he is explicitly written to be a complex and conflicted bounty hunter that only brings in live bounties of criminals, punishing only those who truly give him a hard time (Branding Iron Add-on). Plus, is it not poetic irony that Caleb, denied opportunities because of his Irish ethnicity, stolen from by a rich tycoon, sent to jail for fifteen years in response to this, chose to become a bounty hunter so he could send Bayshore away to prison for life, then found out the warden who offered him justice betrayed him just like Bayshore did, and is then made to serve another person of high power for an eternity so he can try to get justice for the betrayals he went through? Yet, despite all this, the fact is that the Entity is using him, lying to him, just like society did, just like Bayshore did, and just like the Warden did. It's a vicious cycle for the Deathslinger and it's a great story that the devs crafted.
With Rin, I stress the lore because her lore is crucial to understanding her as a character. Yes, she has Kazan's rage, yes, she is a very strong Kendo fighter but she is not evil and she is not just full of rage 24/7. She is plagued by both sorrow AND rage 24/7 despite her circumstances which makes her more complex than a traditional Onryo that exacts her revenge blindly and vehemently forever without care of who she hurts. Why we keep fixating on this deity specifically despite no killer in DBD being a direct translation of a real-world character or trope blows my mind, but, alas, what can you do. This is what makes the deal made between her and the Entity mean so much, she gets to have endless vengeance against the man who brought her so much anger and grief while the Entity is really getting fed gluttonously with all the innocents she is unknowingly killing. To conclude I bring up one last anecdote, the Entity wanted Rin's dad, he had the same rage Kazan had, he had his blood more so than her, but she chose Rin because it knew that Rin could be easily manipulated with a line of bullshit that would make her kill for an eternity.

I am going to be in the minority here because I dislike the “killers with glowing eyes are seeing what the entity wants to and not the survivors” because it makes the Killers less their own characters and more puppets that can’t really interact with the survivors, with only the Spirit being the only one where it more or less fits with her nature, but even then, she can work perfectly without it. Also, I don’t think there is anything concrete that truly confirms the theory, because there is no confirmation that the Killers see anything but reality. Yes, there are certain thematic connections between some of the Killers, like the Spirit and Caleb both wanting revenge, but they are explored very differently:
Rin was a good person that suffered an awful trauma and was so blinded by her emotions, her anger tat she was consumed by them, and now she is forever trapped in that emotional state.
Caleb was someone that let himself be consumed by vengeance since he was a child, so he was never blinded by them, more that he didn’t care about the consequences. As an adult, he was an awful person, torturing and killing people for coins or because they pissed him off, yes, he did it as a legal bounty hunter, but that was more him being pragmatic than any moral issue.
So I can see Caleb killing random people if he believes that there is something for him, and there is in this case, with the Entity giving him coins for his job, which wouldn’t make sense if he is just manipulating him:
A glass-like coin moulded from the Fog itself. A payment to the bounty hunter for the services rendered.
I think the eyes are just an aesthetic choice, specially when certain cosmetics change the eyes of the Killers, like Trapper for example, gains white eyes in one of the cosmetics, despite having black eyes in his regular self. The glowing eyes in the Deathslinger are more to make him look different from a normal cowboy than any lore implications.
Caleb didn't torture people though. He made the Redeemer less lethal on purpose. He was called a vigilante by the devs and there's a newspaper article ingame that questions the morality of the Hellshire Gang, questioning whether they were heroes or outlaws themselves.
Zarina investigates the Mad Mick Massacre in the prison because the only details that exist about it come from the story about an Irish outlaw that heartlessly slaughtered the warden but we, the player, find out that is not what happened. Caleb was a bounty hunter who was ethnically abused and was robbed multiple times because he was viewed as less than dirt. He worked for the Warden and when the Warden screwed him over and robbed him of his justice (he didn't even want to kill Bayshore at this point, just wanted him to rot in prison) that's when he snapped. Bayshore, in the addons, belittles and insults Caleb despite the fact that Caleb is considered to be the Da Vinci of the West by the Devs. Caleb is not evil and I'm still sticking to my guns when I say that the white eyes on the two killers who can either be seen as innocent during their life or morally gray (Rin and Caleb) is far from just an aesthetic choice. If anything, the coins most likely serve as a way for Caleb to remember that he is being paid to enact this vengeance, which fuels him even more because he sure as ######### knows he is good at his job and if you love your job, you'll never work a day in your life.
Plus, how can you discount those last few sentences in the Deathslinger's lore? They pretty much prove that the Entity can make killers see the people they hate the most.
I leave you with a reminder about the deal the Entity made with Rin. Why would she want to kill innocent people when the Entity promised her revenge on her dad? She's not a murderer like Myers, Trapper, etc. It's all a farce to feed a primordial space monster for an eternity.

Clown is heavily based on John Wayne Gacy.

-Halloween added to the game the most game-breaking perk in the history of the game. Also, one of the maps which is most prone to being abused with specific perks thanks to its hideous design and geometry.
-Of flesh and mud added to the game the concept of removable perks.
-Left behind added to the game two of the most obnoxious and problematic perks in the history of this game.
-Spark of madness added to the game a hideous map and a completely unnecessary speed boost perk that, for a while, could be stacked with others.
-A lullaby for the dark added to the game a horrible map and a very problematic perk in terms of abusing to exploit the maps' geometry.
-Leatherface added to the game and extremely questionable map.
-A nightmare on Elm Street added to the game a map that was, and still is, broken in many ways (fat-shaming spots, dead zones for the Nurse, etc...).
-Saw added a shoddily designed map that was, and still is, broken in many ways (fat-shaming spots, dead zones for the Nurse, etc...). It also made, even if just for a while, flashlight and pallet-saves even more braindead easy to perform than they already were.
-Shattered bloodline added a hideously designed map, that is also conveniently fit for Blendettes, and a busted perk to make that other, specific, already unbelievably overpowered, perk, even more unbearable.
-Darkness among us added to the game a detestable map and several, completely unnecessary, nerfs to a category of perks that was already laughable as it was before the update.
-Demise of the fateful brought in the game yet another hideous map and a perk that renders interacting with environment potentially dangerous for a specific side.
-Ash V the evil dead added to the game two potentially problematic perks and one that was even more broken and busted than that other perk that was added with the Halloween update.
-Stranger things threw into this mess yet another horrendous map, that was, and still is, broken in many ways (fat-shaming spots, dead zones for the Nurse, etc...).
-Cursed legacy added two other potentially problematic perks.
-Chains of hate added to the pile yet another detestable map and three questionable perks, one of which re-adds to the game a broken element that was acknowledged as such by the developers themselves and thus removed in a previous update.
You straight up hate every map, eh?

Was gonna say the Legion DLC still has to rank as the worst.
Legion as a killer was broken in all the wrong ways on launch and now is neutered into just being lackluster now. He came with one relatively meta perk in discordance, but Iron Maiden? Mad Grit? Yeah no one's running those except MAYBE huntress with Iron Maiden and even then probably not. Some nice cosmetics though.
Jeff is a lackluster survivor with very lackluster perks, he does have some nice cosmetics.
Ormond is easily one of the most infuriating maps for killers in the game, it's effing huge, all the pallets are EXTREMELY safe, on release it lagged players like nobody's business, overall just a massive failure.
The other big issue with this DLC was the complete misdirection of the trailer. You were easily led to believe this would be a killer who could disguise themselves or play mind games with survivors and instead we got edgy gang with knives. Such a letdown.
Darkness Among Us is the official title for the Legion chapter. But yeah I agree with everything you say, that ######### sucked.
-
Darkness Among Us still holds the title for worst DLC to date, Chains of Hate is excellent in terms of killer, survivor perks, and map quality.
If you don't appreciate the aesthetic of Deathslinger, you probably don't appreciate the aesthetic of Westerns.

Yui and Oni's lore are on point and their cosmetics are so cool! How did the devs go form that to the recent DLC release. Not that I am not appreciative of their work, I just wish that it did not seem like it was thrown together with no rhyme nor reason.
Zarina is plain and her lore mixed with Deathslingers makes no sense? I don't even see how they would make cosmetics for her and deathslinger to make them want to be played.
I think the map could have been an aquarium theme. The survivor could have been a marine biologist/diver and the killer could have been a mutant sea creature that stole the diver's/marine biologist's harpoon, who had been effected by radiation or nuclear waste. Somehow incorporating humanitarianism like they did with Zarina but with the diver's place of employment (the aquarium) being built near a nuclear waste facility/plant/ etc.
A nautical chapter would be interesting down the line but I've been known to say among my gaming circles that I would give an arm, leg, left nut, firstborn child, etc, for a Western chapter. Now that I've got it, I wouldn't trade it for the world.

Rin does have a blind murderous rage, as most onryo do. I bet that a not enraged healthy Rin would've said no to the full deal, but she wanted her revenge so bad that she did whatever she had to do just to exact it. In addition, she was dying when she made the oath, so she didn't really have time to think it through. And the whole point/moral of her archives lore was that her rage was inherited, that she had an intense rage that came from Kazan himself.
The white eyes still connect Rin and Caleb, nothing has changed.
-

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1165797#Comment_1165797
True, she can't raze cities or summon natural disasters like most onryo, but her blind murderous rage is what makes her kill, not the fact that she thinks everyone is her dad.
Then why did she make the deal with the Entity? Kazan has a blind murderous rage, Rin doesn't.

I mean if ghosts were real that's what she would've done. And my point that not all onryo need to stay at a specific location still stands.
Fair enough, but the white eyes are still relevant as her lore specifically mentions the deal made between the Entity and Rin. I stand by my point that she is not a traditional onryo.
-
@Joelwino said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1165765#Comment_1165765
I never said that all onryo have to haunt one place forever. If the entity hadn't taken her, Rin would probably still be on her family's estate killing all the Neas that try to sneak in and tag it. There are plenty of famous onryo, like the Yuki-onna, Kuchisake-onna, or Samara from The Ring. Regardless, onryo take out their revenge blindly, not caring who they're murdering.
If the Entity didn't take Rin, she would have died. The Entity made her its own personal killing machine in exchange for the murder of her father. Without the influence of a celestial monster, there would be no Yamaoka ghost.
-
@Joelwino said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1146353#Comment_1146353
I don't know if that's completely true with the spirit, because onryo (Japanese revenge ghost) usually don't distinguish who they enact their revenge on, they just destroy anything or anyone that crosses their path. Even if the person who wronged an onryo is long dead, the ghost will still continue to slaughter and destroy, because they can't be appeased. Even after they are exorcised, the place that they haunted will still be cursed for a very long time.
For a traditional Onryo, I agree. But the Spirit is not a traditional Onryo. She doesn't haunt a specific place, she's a wandering spirit that kills for the Entity.
-
Caleb Quinn is a genuinely sympathetic man that has a very high sense of honor. When the mist is removed from his eyes, the only killers that he'll associate with are Evan, Philip, Rin because he knows that they themselves are victims of the Entity just like himself. He detests the "outlaws" in the realm and harasses them often, refusing to let the bounty hunter part of him die. When it comes to survivors, he gets along with everyone because he knows that they are innocent.
Put the mist back on, however...

Another survivor bobbed and weaved between me and him. Huntress would have hit the body blocker, but with the harpoon, I was able to shoot past her and catch my quary.

Huntress cant do that. Also she can be mindgamed around pallets with big walls. He cannot be cause he can insta shoot / which is dumb if you ask me again but who am I /
She is better than him and that is just a fact. She has map pressure and can snowball really hard by just taking pot shots. I love Deathslinger but until he gets buffs, she'll always have the edge on him.

Wraith is tortured heavily. He was an auto mechanic before he got taken, he doesn't look like that normally. Billy got his vengeance but he just enjoys murdering so much. Who would make a meat tree like he did? He's a psychopath with zero empathy.
I'll see your counter and I implore you to analyze the pupils of ingame Doc to ingame Slinger and ingame Spirit.
As you can see, the Doc has his pupils showing while both Caleb and Rin have clouded eyes. As previously stated, the personalities of these two characters are incredibly different than Doc's and coincidentally, Cal and Rin have the exact same misty eyes. BHVR does design well and that's like the only asset they have that is constantly solid. I guarantee you, the choice of eyes for two characters that are so clouded by their hate and vengeance was no mistake.

Saul Goodman from Better Call Saul and Breaking Bad.
His perks would be all about bullshitting the killer and his teammates.
Ex 1: Slippin' Jimmy
You've got a conman's tongue and despite your best efforts to be a good guy, you'll always be a screwup.
Every thirty seconds, tag a hook or gen and make it "invisible" to the killer for one minute. Each time you do, your aura is revealed after the object becomes "visible" again. Up to five objects at one time.
Ex 2: ABQ's Finest
Being a lawyer is about helping people, still, lawyers have the bad reputation for a reason...
Heal survivors 25% slower but after the trial is complete, you and any survivor you healed get a 50% BP bonus.
Ex 3: A "Criminal" Lawyer
Trouble always finds the guy who advertises his ugly mug everywhere.
Whenever a killer picks up a survivor, see the killer's aura for a ten seconds. Once the survivor is hooked, all teammates near the hooked survivor are given no scratchmarks, blood pools, or grunts of pain when near the hooked survivor. The aura of the player is revealed to the Killer for the duration that the survivor is hooked.

But honestly, I don't think crossplay/cross saves are too far off from happening. If you recall a few weeks prior, many people were playing with other consoles on accident. ScottJund, a PC player and Streamer, had MULTIPLE lobbies and games where he was playing with PS4 players. Year 4, a few months away, will most likely reveal the future for crossplay.
-
Doctor, Spirit, Oni, Freddy, and Billy come to mind.
New Doc is solid and super fun to play as and against. His new buffs make him a super lethal threat too which is what he lacked for years.
Spirit after her nerfs has made her more fun to play against and honestly, she's still fun to play as. Yes, her phasing is still a coin toss but prayer beads and vaults were a really big issue and I'm glad things were resolved.
Oni, I know he's new, is in a good spot after he got fixed. The flick is back and the power is just as lethal as before. His only drawback is that his early game is slow but hey, if you snowball, you snowball hard.
Freddy is in a great spot these days because of his rework, I know some find him boring to play as and against but as someone who has Freddy in his top three main circle since he was gutted upon release, Freddy is practically perfect. Pressure, loop potential, mindgames, he's got 'em all.
Billy is one of our oldest killers and honestly, he's been in a decent spot since release. All the veterans remember the original flick and how lethal it was and although I miss it, Billy is far more balanced these days and he's still a monster in the right hands.

The most important detail. This patch was delayed a week and Deathslinger got BP adjustments, a hit sound (woohoo...), and a crow nerf. I can't fathom what goes on in the minds of BHVR devs at times. Like, seriously? No feedback was used when Ruin was gutted, no feedback was used about Sabo, and no feedback was used with Deathslinger. Why even bother having a PTB at this point. Playtest your own game, stop forcing the community to have some "say" in what goes on with the game when nothing gets used. Jesus, I need to get some air, this is such an annoying update.
-
Alt-Tab is my rare first hook suicide for killer. Just slam those two keys together and boom, your problems vanish.
-
I said this in a previous thread with a similar detail:
"And thus the plot thickens...
Why do you think the Spirit is so angry when she hunts survivors and slices them repeatedly during her mori? The Entity promised her revenge on her dad... Oh wait... Yeah, if you're thinking she's seeing her dad in the survivors; bingo, we have a winner.
Also, super fun fact that all but confirms this theory, both the Spirit and the Deathslinger have a very distinct white glow to their eyes, unlike any other killer (yes Wraith and Billy have it too but Wraith was heavily tortured and Billy kills everything and anything, most likely just aesthetic). They are seeing LIES...
Final note that again, confirms this theory: the Spirit and Deathslinger have no signs of torture on them, whereas the Trapper and Hag are super messed up. Difference between these two parties? The eyes... One group was beat down to serve the Entity, the other is being manipulated by an illusion... Plus, the Pig and Legion both have normal eyes and no signs of abuse. They want to be here and they didn't have to be convinced."

What about the Doctor? His eyes glow too, and we can assume that the headgear he wears is self inflicted.
Different type of glow, you can even customize it in the store too. It's an electricity based thing. Plus, you can see his pupils. Traditionally, if someone wants to convey some form of mind control or illusion in a character, the characters' eyes are glazed over like Rin and Caleb's are.

I'm pretty sure it's intentional and we know that the Entity is fond of mind games (Zarina's lore, etc). I'm sticking to my original post since it seems to be the path the devs are taking with the lore.

I have to disagree. What would actually happen is that the console players all quit because they are getting bullied by pc players. Console isn't even optimized yet. Also with the current state of the game it isn't ready for crossplay. Bugs are still rampant and even though the new balance changes are a step in the right direction there is a long way to go.
You can turn off crossplay in the settings. If you don't want to play with PC players, turn it off. I want to play with my console friends, damnit.

This would make Demo a lot more fun and menacing. As of right now, Demo's only benefits are that it can end some loops quicker and that it can three gen pretty solidly.

I never want to see cross-over from PC to console. Pretty sure most feel the same way...it would be awful.
No, you're wrong, it would be the best thing to happen to this game since queue times would be practically nonexistent.

I hate Steve because almost every Steve I encounter is the worst. It actually has nothing to do with his cosmetics. I do agree with you though. I could do without Porno Kate.
Well, I hope that one day you'll play with me or another competent Steve.
Porno Kate is indeed awful though.

Steve. I despise Steve.
Well I despise YOU!
Just kidding.
All seriousness, Kate's new skin is kinda gross to look at, especially her blow up doll face.

Hmm, hillbilly and wraith also have flashing eyes, does that mean they are also being controlled by the entity?
I explained it here:
"(yes Wraith and Billy have it too but Wraith was heavily tortured and Billy kills everything and anything, most likely just aesthetic)"
THe glow from the Spirit and Deathslinger are distinctly different.

Dbd would be a Netflix series with each episode being a different survivor and killer. The the final episode would be about the entity
I feel like a show just about the Entity would be better, sprinkle in some survivor and killer details and boom, a great and detailed show for lore junkies.

On deathslingers lore it says:
"At his feet, he saw a dusty path, and, at its end, silhouettes of all who had done him wrong: the boys who bullied him, the executives who took advantage of him, and, again... Henry Bayshore. Emerging from a fog were the tools to dispose of them — unforgiving steel hooks, brilliant and beautiful in their simplicity. Pain tore through his leg as he stood, but he endured, pushing onwards, walking the dusty path, leaving a trail of blood flowing behind him."
Does this mean that the Entity can make killers hallucinate? He thinks he is seeing people he hates but are in fact not?
@Rattman said:
If you think about it, his eyes looks very weird... As if he blind or something.
And thus the plot thickens...
They want to be here and they didn't have to be convinced.

In the event of an uprising of the killers in the event of a weakened Entity, where survivors and killers are free to roam the Fog, this is how I think the killers would act.
Antagonist: Attacks killers and survivors alike, for their own pleasure or in defense of the Entity.
Neutral: Attacking only survivors or not taking part at all.
Protagonist: Working to defeat the Entity, might still kill survivors in their way.
The Trapper: Protagonist. Evan hates the Entity's control, as seen by the torture he has undergone with all the hooks and scars on his body. He would revolt in an instant
The Wraith: Neutral. The Wraith would likely fend for himself in the chaos, defending himself from any hostile force but not trying to fight the Entity or other killers for his own safety.
The Hillbilly: Antagonist. Just loves killing too much, too insane. Wouldn't have the capacity to fight the Entity, if he wanted to, just wants to cut up any victim he can.
The Nurse: Neutral. Would be in fear like the Wraith, too mental like Hillbilly, might kill survivors it comes across but might not actively hunt them.
The Huntress: Neutral. Hard to say how she feels about the Entity, seems to comply pretty well but unknown if she would actively defend it. Is probably tactical enough to know not to pick fights with most killers.
Michael Myers: Neutral. Neutral because he's between going against the Entity and working for the Entity; would want to be free from its control but enjoys the killing, killers and survivors alike.
The Hag: Neutral. Scared and hiding, like Wraith and Nurse, but snagging survivors for a snack if she can.
The Doctor: Antagonist. The abundance of 'test subjects' to unleash his sadism upon is all he wants. Would fight killers and survivors alike to stay in his haven, and might be intrigued by the psychology of killers.
Leatherface: Antagonist. Would probably hide and kill survivors who intrude on him if it weren't for his immense loyalty toward the Entity. Like his family in the movies, the Entity is a commanding presence that he complies with out of fear and because of his mental disability.
Freddy Kreuger: Antagonist. With the Entity weakened I would imagine his power restriction within the dream realm is not withstanding. Would prey on all who try to rest within the desecrated Fog.
The Pig: Neutral. Originally she believed the trials were tests for her by Kramer, but now that the Fog has fallen to pieces her view has been shattered. Mentally breaking down, hiding, low chance of her siding with survivors.
The Clown: Antagonist. Would quickly be disemboweled by the stronger killers but would be aggressive toward all.
The Spirit: Protagonist. After realizing the Entity hasn't and will never fulfill its bargain of letting her have revenge on her father, all of her rage goes into fighting the Entity.
The Legion: Neutral. Travelling as a group, just trying to survive against the superhuman terrors lurking the Fog unchained.
The Plague: Antagonist. Also extremely loyal to the Entity. Enough said.
Ghostface: Neutral. Doesn't want to fight the Entity but doesn't care to defend it either. Would have a field day stalking survivors.
The Demogorgon: Antagonist. Hunger is all it's driven by, and it being an animal might allow it to be commanded even by a weakened Entity. Mauls and devours all it can, and being able to overpower most killers if need be.
The Oni: Antagonist. Doesn't care for the Entity, however, is greatly antagonistic to everyone for their 'weaker bloodlines' Actively hunts killers and survivors both.
The Deathslinger: Antagonist. To Caleb, the Entity is a client, and he, the bountyhunter. Serves the Entity's command on his own will, bringing 'bounties' of those who oppose it, like the 'iridescent coin' add-on states.
Flip Myers to Antagonist and Deathslinger to Protagonist and I agree.
Myers is too evil to not want to kill anyone he deems as competition. Sure, he may hate the Entity for controlling him but he came here willingly remember. The Deathslinger, however, is being led along to believe that the Survivors are the bullies who abused him, the wealthy men who stole from him, and the Warden and Bayshore, as shown in the final chunk of his lore (this also explains why Spirit kills so openly, she sees her dad in the survivors, causing her to be full of rage). He's seeing a reality created for him by the Entity so he has no problem taking "coin" for killing those he sees fit to die. But remove this glaze over the eyes and the story changes. The Deathslinger realizes he isn't killing/offering bounties that are the people he hates most for a client, he's a pawn in a celestial being's game, killing innocent people to feed a powerful space monster. Caleb isn't inherently evil, cruel, yes, vengeful, absolutely, but keen on killing innocents? Why'd he choose to kill the thief who robbed the store instead of some random civilian? He had the prison Warden protecting him from swinging, he had a golden ticket to maim and murder and he chose not to. He's not a psychopath.
Basically, this is just like when the Warden sold the prison to Bayshore. It caused Caleb to realize his role in the world, he's not a bounty hunter, he's a pawn. He would probably go as far to work with survivors considering how furious he is likely to get when he finds out he's being used. Caleb seriously has the potential to be one of the biggest threats to the Entity because of his anger, so as long as the illusion is maintained, the Deathslinger will keep on killing.

Jokes aside, that's an AMAZING idea. Like hillbilly's chainsaw speed, you press a key, the horse could appear out of nowhere, you'd ride it at full speed and get down when you need it. Combine that with BBQ and you have your high pressure killer.
But here's the thing, Hawkins and the Game have some really tight hallways.

honestly kind of gross to label something japanese as weeby since ya know Japanese culture is more than anime but that's just my opinion.
also the trapper is literally just generic slasher, they haven't run out of ideas since most of them have been gradually getting more and more far from the typical slasher horror genre
Agreed, if you showed me four years ago the Deathslinger and told me to pick between the Trapper, Billy, and Wraith; it would be no competition for me.

Jane is a host of a show and talk about the subject and get people help. Deals with Trends and pop culture
Nancy works for newspaper company. She is an apprentice to be a journalist. Deals with local stories
The survivor makes documentaries. She investigates scandals and crimes
Exactly, I can't believe that some people just lump these three distinctly different ladies into the same SJW grouping simply because of what they do and what they went through. We have so many average Joe Shmoes at this point, it doesn't hurt to have some variety. Our only famous survivor is Jane, while Zarina is famous in the underground indie film scene.
