TL;DR: Strong Killer>Repeatedly used>Boring games against the same killer.

To play Devil's Advocate, 25% isn't efficient since getting 32K in KYF would give you 8K. If farming is the problem here... Couldn't you add a daily limit to how much BP you can earn in KYF? Let's say 50K! 😊
Actually if you use WGLF and stack that up then you would be getting the equivalent of a full match worth of BP.
Also if you wait an average of X minutes for a regular lobby yet you can insta queue KYF it may actually still be more beneficial to KYF then play a regular match.
I'm also on the Devils payroll. ^.^

Yes let's remove survivor's ONLY defense of getting instantly killed. Makes sense.
Fact is that you don't deserve the achievement if you didn't get them all. This person is making the smart move, either pull them out of the locker and hook them, or sit and wait forever. I've had killers message me begging to give them their achievement "because I deserve it". No you don't. Earn it like everyone else.
And if you are going to be mad at anyone, be mad at BHVR for making a stupid achievement.
EGC yet you stay in a locker, I fail to see the "smart move" here.
While its true no killer "deserve" the achievement simply because they feel so, this survivor is clearly doing this just to spite the fact the OP is doing an achievement/build.

Trapper can kinda camp both gates at the same time. Hag kinda can too if they're close enough.
RNG can really place the gates oddly.
I've had a handful of matches where the gates were close enough that I could stand still and see both at the same time.

Slugging is taking the game hostage. I've ran into plenty of killers that think slugging is so clever and funny, leaving the last survivors on the floor to bleed out. I can't do anything in this situation. I have to crawl around in hope of maybe finding hatch if the killer hasn't already closed it and eventually bleed out, but if i leave prematurely then I will get nothing out of the match. So i have to sit there and wait.
Facecamping is taking the game hostage for that survivor, and mostly the team, they are denied of continuing the match and eventually led to die. Yeah, sure the team can counter this by doing generators but realistically, this isn't actually a solution, because it will happen to all of them and whilst the killer is rewarded for this behaviour, the survivor has to take a punishment and for what? trying to play the game but being forced to sit on hook because it's impossible to get off.
You don't have to camp the gates, as a killer, i tend to walk back and forth from gates in hopes of finding the survivor, hell sometimes, ill even let them escaping knowing that I killed the other three. But it is taking the game hostage because you shouldn't be camping the gates, you should be trying to find the survivors.
Taking game hostage by delaying how long the game goes on. The timer means that survivors eventually have to leave and the insta-kill on hook means that survivors can't struggle until their struggle timer runs out.
Taking the game hostage means you cannot leave the match or progress past a stage indefinitely.
If a killer was to block you into a corner and then just sit there it would offer you no way to leave the match and would be taking the game hostage.
If you are slugged you have a timer (bleed out) that will release you from the match. (Not hostage)
If you are face camped you can ######### on hook or wait out the timer to leave the match. (Not hostage)
It sucks to have to wait these timers out but the game is not keeping you in indefinitely, you will be released when the timer ends (hence another reason these timers exist). Now this is not me saying getting facecamped or slugged just for the sake of ruining your experience is a good thing, but its not being held hostage.

I think it would be funny to watch survivers fail and have a their finger or hand burned by the hex totems fire for an animation
Or the skull nips at their fingers.

Why do people think Freddy's lunge is longer than anyone elses?
It's literally the same.
Its just an odd animation that looks like he has "phantom claws" so many people think he has a longer reach.
-
Its not the animation but the sound.
There is a very distinct difference in the cloak/uncloak sound now as the uncloak has become oddly slowled/overlayed.

They can't do that because people would COMPLETELY remove the perk from the game by gen tapping like Old Ruin.
It should just cause the explosion by default if you let go and run away, just like any other skillcheck.

same with jeff.. he isnt fat but not thin either.
Meg,nea, clauddete are for me in the thin category and ash, jeff, jane etc the average.
i was talking about FAT i mean a survivor with 400+ pounds.
You show me 1 person 400+ pounds that can run and vault like the survivors in DBD.
Its the same reason you don't see many 400+ pound survivors in horror movies....they are dead.

I'd like to hear what everyone has to say about unwritten rules and honour codes that exist in DBD, just because I think it's an interesting topic to explore.
Killers - are there any unwritten rules around sportsmanship or a type of honour code that you expect survivors to follow, or that you consider toxic behaviour (for example, no bodyblocking, no flashlight blinding, no teabagging at the gates, etc.)? Do you follow the same rules when (if) you play survivor?
Survivors - similarly, are there any rules of sportsmanship that you impose on yourself while playing (such as no teabagging) or that you expect other survivors to follow (for example, don't leave teammates behind on the hook)? Is there any survivor behaviour that you would consider 'toxic'?
Full disclosure: I'm a design student, and I've decided to centre my Honours project around the DBD community. Insights gained from this discussion may be used to inform my practice (although I won't include any identifying information, like usernames, if that does end up happening).
While killers seem to have the often meme about "rulebook" they must follow, I'm pretty sure I've only ever seen a single rule for survivors....a rule they defiantly deny..."do bones".

A Survivor that falls from a significant height is staggered briefly, preventing them from moving. If the Survivor lands within the interaction zone of a window, they are able to skip the stagger and vault the window. This happens most notably on Coal Tower.
Why is this not fixed?
Bug? Exploit? Technique?

I don’t know about all of you guys, but I think a pirate chapter would be pretty dang sweet, especially with a new island/boat/beach type of map. The killer could just have some cool phantom power or something where he sends fake ghost pirates to startle you around the map. Which could maybe affect spine chill so you never know where he is. Or during loops he can send a projection one way while he goes the other? Although that seems pretty OP. Whatever though, what would you guys like to see with a pirate chapter? Hopefully that’s the next thing for chapter 16, then Candyman or Pennywise would be cool too for me since I’m not sure what other OC killers could be added.

I just picture a museum setup where you have exhibits of each survivor tbagging and another with each killer face camping, hahaha.

When playing as survivor I think two things
1- I am not playing DBD, I am on a potato farm look at that teammates.
2- who needs the killer with teammates like these that mess up skill checks so hard sometimes.
How I think tutorial could be improved:
Survivors: teach about flashlight saving, pallet saving, look behind while in a chase and introduce looping.
Killers: tech about loops, introduce how to track survivors by crows, teach to not camp using the perk borrowed time as reason.
To both: teach technical stuff like, how much time to finish a gen, how much time takes to the killer end the pickup animation and things like that
I too would like to see a "advance" tutorial that unlocks after doing the regular one.
Maybe we should also have a DBD hotline that unlocks after the "advanced tutorial" that plays calming music to help with the rage people have once they start playing ^.^

That's a bunch of crap, all due respect. I play for fun and I enjoy the competitive part too, but I don't care about pipping and there are a lot of people that don't either, because there's nothing to gain from it other than having leverage to trash talk and be toxic....oh, now I understand the reason why.
Oof.
If that last part was a shot at me being "toxic/trash talking" I'm simply having a conversation with the Gentleman I was speaking too. Secondly I said in each post that while I mostly share his views on DBD current rank system there are still many who care about it and that's why I do not feel ranks could disappear without it affecting people (because many people do enjoy a rank system). While I do not think DBD could feasibly support a casual/competitive split on its player base I do hope we get such an option down the line.
If I may may point out, arguing that you feel there is too much toxic behavior in the forums and then enacting the same behavior towards the individual you feel perpetrates this behavior does nothing to help your case. Toxicity only begets more toxicity.

I need some positivity! Let's share wholesome messages we have gotten or responses to things we have said!
I'm posting this because I will send 'gg' and other respectful messages to Killers so long as it was well-played game (clear effort, no face camping, no hook slashing or tea bagging, and frankly no moris). What I get in response are often some of the most vile messages... "Whatever c*nt" and "gg f*g" were the two gems of tonight thus far. I just do not understand.
And to clarify something, I have never tea bagged anyone in this game. Not once. I believe keys are just the Survivor's mori, and though I see mori's about 1/3 of the game I have never used a key except to complete the "Escape with a key 2 times" challenge in the last Rift.
I also thought that perhaps 'gg' sounded sarcastic and so I started taking the time to write, "Well played game! :)" and "Ty for the gg!" and I still get called a c*nt and a b*tch. It's just a game, I know, I try to just laugh it off, but as someone who always tries to post really positive messages in the forums and has been sending upbeat messages in the game because of seeing PS4 Killers say that Survivors are toxic and they feel poorly... It just sucks.
So let's laugh about it together! And as always... Happy gaming, all! <3

you can be the best player on the world while your killer tunnels you and your team leave you behind, and the game still depipd you. Ranks means nothing since they reset every month and this pipping system is not well done. There's literally no single way to "enjoy" looking a red icon in a corner of the screen while waiting 10 minutes for a lobby. It doesn't even give you nothing special, matchmaking is broken anyways and you have no advantage or compensation.
So yeah, it's a fact, rank it's useless, even devs said so in their removal of ranks in leaderboard announcement.
Again that's how you feel but to people who enjoy ranks and find meaning through them, be it a feeling of progression or the enjoyment of seeing a pip/2pip mean you "won" the match, ranks matter.
I'm not saying your argument is invalid as that is your mindset on ranks and it is close to mine also, as I see no logic behind how ranks are determined right now because of how messed up the matchmaking/pip system is, however if someone feels enjoyment from the system (and I'm sure most still agree its a mess) and that system provides some form of "assessment" of match performance then we cannot claim ranks don't matter or no one likes them.
I would love to see ranks be overhauled and re-implemented and ideally have a rank/casual game mode each.

@Boss said:
What the title says: Which Killer do you think is the worst in the game right now?
While i normally give freedom in your reason as to why you choose a certain option, this time i'd like you to choose which you think is the worst in efficiency overall.
Y'know, take into account how quickly they can end a chase, the power of their Killer Power, how easily they can find Survivors, their Add-on arsenal, their synergies with Perks, etc. etc.
So I play PS4 thus my answer is guaranteed to be a minority here.
Nurse.
While she may be incredibly powerful if you pump time into learning and playing nothing but Nurse on PS4, the fact that you are fighting against controller sensitivity (haven't played with updated sensitivity from patch yet) terrible frame rate, maps that see random performance drops, countless bugs that plague the Nurse every patch, etc etc.
Its the reason you see maybe 1 Nurse every 200 games on console and the ones you do see are often the sad lot who thought a quick Nurse daily wouldn't break them emotionally.

Who cares about ranks at this point?
Afraid that's a "strawman" argument.
While you and I may not care about ranking during a match MANY players enjoy the more competitive side of DBD and the pip system is meant to measure your match performance, however when it seems so "off" from the game you just played it leaves a poor taste in your mouth.
So to say "who care about ranks at this point"...well, lots of people do and they have every right to enjoy that aspect of the game.

I think i could best describe it as: Multiple Wailing Bells rang in perfect sync.
And of course, there's the bug that he uncloaks a lot slower and cloaks a little bit slower.
As for Bone Clapper doing anything unintended, i don't know.
Makes your cloak/uncloak map-wide, meaning if there is a difference between the two states, clock/uncloack, you can now distinguish what the Wraith is doing thus negating any sort of mindgame.
I'm not running off my gen if I hear the "cloak" ring going off because he is most likely not near me yet, as where before I never knew what was happening.
Basically his new bug negates the use of that add-on.

So the latest patch has been a hot topic on the forums lately, but oddly enough no one mentioned the Spine Chill nerf the devs tried to slip past us! Perhaps the devs tapped it because more players were realizing its potential, but whatever the reason a nerf was definitely unjustified. I bet you're wondering right now how exactly the devs nerfed Spine Chill. Let me tell you.
Spine Chill nerf in latest patch: Great skill check bonus reduced to 1% from 2%
"How is this a nerf?" you might ask? Well, Spine Chill offers a 10% skill check chance increase while active, and by nerfing skill checks they should have adjusted this perk to compensate, like they did with Stake Out.
My Solution Idea: Spine Chill will now offer a 20% skill check chance increase, not only does this compensate for the skill check change in terms of gen speed effectiveness(2*.1=1*.2), but it makes Spine Chill a good farming perk for skill check points and a good Autodidact synergy perk. Let me know your guys' thoughts! Did Spine Chill deserve the nerf? Is this the best way to buff the perk? Thanks for reading.
So Spine chill allows you to slip out before the killer shows up so you can either stealth away or get a head start running.
Increase the skillcheck odds and now every time I run away a huge explosion (thanks RNG) tells them exactly where I'm at....I really don't know a single person that uses Spine chill for the 10% Skillcheck (only when killer is looking in your direction)...
