Turn your sensitivity up (maybe)
As perks: BBQ,nurses, ruin, maybe use another tracking perks, can be really hard for beginners.Start without addons first to learn her, the addons change the way you blink and that messes with you a lot in the beginning

Somehow for the event the hitboxes are even worse. I will be over a window, running, and still get hit from the other side.
Sometimes the killer will be looking a different direction completely and still hit you. Really makes playing survivor a chore instead of fun. Hitboxes need too be fixed.Play killer, you will get really frustrated with the new pallet system and when you get autoaimed into stuff
autoaimed into stuff? you mean like walls, barrels, pallets, hooks etc?
Yes
I've seen a few people alluding to it on reddit, I've seen killers miss a few weird swings against me and hit pallets which doesn't normally happen, but most of all yes I've felt the auto-aim pull me into stuff. Really annoying as Nurse. In fact that I it happen in one of truetalents streams earlier.
Guess it's official then. sigh
I thought nurse doesnt have this kind of auto aim, but I can confirm it on "normal" killers^^
But ya know, pallets got buffed too with the longer stun animation. Its really pathetic how the devs throw in the shadow nerfs and the pallet aim bug will probably fixed in half a year or sth -

So I know and understand that the developers are working hard to fix the long queue times for survivors, but I still face an issue that I feel is still unfair to us. I main and only play survivor so I see it happen too many times to feel its a coincident.
-When in a lobby the killer sees what the 4 players bring and decide not to play up against a group that has toolbox's or med kits, whatever the case may be and so they decide to leave to find another lobby that best suits their comfortability.-
It does not help the fact that I (and I'm sure many others) have waited soo long to find a game that is just going to be false and have us look forward to another 30+ min wait to potentially have the same thing happen again. So I ask, Is something being done about the killers seeing our items?
Its an intended feature that the killer sees your items, thats why perks like franklins demise and lightborn exist.
Ive said this when they proposed its rework, calm spirit is flawed design

I'm pretty sure holding the game hostage as survivor only counts if you do some exploit that makes it impossible for the killer to reach you.By doing that, they cannot pick you up, so therefore, you hold the game hostage.
Similarly, the killer can hold the game hostage by bodyblocking.
No, if you spend significant time not doing your objectives (hiding in some bush e.g.) then its holding the game hostage aswell.
You can ask a mod if you dont believe me.
The killer can hold you hostage by mori canceling or by forcing you to farm too

I like the new censor that shows when the survivors are still in game and the match isn't over. Whether you died or escaped first. My only major problem with it is that I can't see the perks when I'm queued alone. I believe that if were are with swf we can't see the perks until the party is dead, and if we are queued solo, we are able to see the perks. I don't like the fact that I have to wait for an entire match to end to just find out what I went up against. Some matches where the survivor and killer decide they want to farm isn't fun to wait for if you just want to read the perks and add-on and move on to the next game. Again it's a nice feature going against swf but I'd like to see the perk when in solo queueYou can see the perks, you just need to wait until the game is over.
And yes, even solo queue players can add each other and communicate -

So I was watching some videos on how to be a better killer. One thing they ALL have in common? A variety of perks all locked behind a paywall; BBQ Chili for instance. Now, is there a way to get these perks without having to BUY the DLC? Because if there is not, this game is literally the definition of P2W--yet all of us ALREADY PAID FOR THE GAME!I understand having cosmetic microtransactions. Hell, I even understand having some killers available via DLC; none of the killers themselves seem to be OP compared to the default cast.
But the perks, however, are. MOST of the perks considered vital to a good loadout from what I have seen, are locked behind a paywall. This is the kind of market we as consumers need to stop supporting. When you pay full price for a game, you expect content that gives such blatant advantages to be available to everyone, not just those willing to drop 15-20 dollars. P2W in a game you already paid 30 dollars for is BS. It is EA level garbage.
But before I go accusing these devs of this sort of ridiculous practice, I want to make sure, as I am still new, that there is no reasonable way to get these perks without buying the DLC packs. So is there a way to, or is this game truly, when it comes down to it, Battlefront all over again?
No, gotta ching ching that creditcard

There is a difference between being toxic (tbagging, flashligth clicking) and holding the game hostage which is bannable

As you said, you are already waiting several minutes in queue, that should tell you enough -

This is one of those fallacies that killer mains like to propagate. Killers camp for a reason. It works. If camping and tunneling was naturally punished by survivors pushing objectives unchallenged then killers wouldn't do it. And yet, killers continue to camp and tunnel. That says something doesn't it?Yes. It says that survivors aren't pushing objectives unchallenged. Instead, they try to force unhooks.
Unless we are talking about SWF then the survivors that were working on generators need to get off the generator and run half way across the map to verify whether the killer is camping or not. The survivor will need to spend a few seconds assessing whether they can safely get the unhook or not. Then the survivor will need to run halfway across the map again to get back on their generator.
All that time spent on a failed rescue attempt isn't punishing the killer at all. Giving up one or two generators for a secured kill is well worth it to the killer anyway just because of how snowbally this game is. All of this is assuming the survivors are willing to give up on each other for the larger strategic objectives. This is also depending on the hooked survivor not just suiciding on hook because they aren't having fun.
So again, I assert that killers camp for a reason. Because it works. The fairy tale that survivors can effectively punish a camping killer by pushing objectives is just that. A fairy tale. Even if the survivors are on board with that strategy, best case scenario the killer still kills two survivors and everyone gets horrible bloodpoints for the game.
Camping takes two minutes to kill someone, not including the time spent on the chase, which can take up to 3 generators. If two more generators pop at that point, the killer gets one kill (if that, since there's always BT). If more than one survivor dies to camping, it's because they fed the camper. It's that simple.
Survivors suiciding on the hook is not relevant because it's still feeding.
Survivors are the ones who make camping worthwhile. They've always done so, hence the epidemic. Killers should not be punished for the survivors' bad decisions.
Lastly, if the killer gets two kills, then by the devs' definition, it's a balanced strategy.
That is exactly the fantasy that killer mains like to spread. The first four months that I played this game, I spent as a camping/tunneling killer. I'm talking literally hundreds of games of camping/tunneling. This is a subject that I have vasts amounts of experience in. This was when I didn't have all killers perks unlocked and at rank 3. And I still easily got and maintained rank 1 using this basic strategy. This was over a year ago when the game was much more difficult for killers as well. There have been many killer buffs and survivor nerfs in the last year.
Why did I do all that camping and tunneling? Because it worked. Pure and simple. This hypothetical scenario that the survivors would punish me just didn't happen. Or at the least it was unbelievably rare. So at the risk of repeating myself I say again that killers camp for a reason. If survivors are incapable of punishing killers for camping then there is no reason for killers to stop. It is obviously something that ruins the experience of the game for many players so it is a problem. One that can be solved fairly for both sides.
Tunneling is just playing optimally, just like survivor tunnel gens.
camping is just a bad strategy, that you managed to climb to rank 1 with it shows how broken the ranking system is.It doesn't matter what the ranking system is like when you can get 3-4 kills just about every game. Tunneling is optimal. I agree. You're wrong about camping being bad strategy though. The results are clear on that. It works. Pure and simple. It is a strategy that has been around since day 1 and is still widely used. Killers past the noob ranks wouldn't do it if it didn't work.
The fact that you can get 3-4 kills by camping shows how broken the rank system is. Those survivors throwing themselves at the hook without even using their brain a second SHOULD not be at those ranks at all. By camping you actually surender a gamee and it should result in 1 (maximum 2) kills against somehow competent survivors

So this is from my view being rank 1 killer and survivor every season with 5500+ hours and playing Solo -SWF-Killer almost every day. The majority of people derank for easier killers. A good example is big streamers who post videos of wrecking killers with a small amount of hours played. Lets go over the excuses that are used...*Rank doesn't matter in terms of skill - This is provably false just by the videos posted and live streams. You do not get new players as killers at rank 1 that have low hours. For the most part killers at rank 1 dont fall for 360s, flashlight saves, etc...You do get those killers at rank 5-20. There is also still a % of people that cant get rank 1, mainly as killer. You will always get better players on average at rank 1 but you will still have potato's at any rank.
*Red ranks are to sweaty - But the people deranking are still using meta perks, items, SWF etc... and escaping most games because of the skill mismatch. Wouldn't that make the survivor sweaty or is the rule survivors cant be sweaty?
*I derank for fun! - Ok so is it fun for the killer who has 50 hours to play against a team that has 10,000+ combined hours? Lets also be real people that play or stream daily that derank during their off time derank by either DCing or killing themselves screwing over the other 3 survivors. If you think these people spend 5+ hours doing a "nice" derank you are fooling yourself.
*Que times - Not a thing...
So whats the answer? BHVR needs to stand behind their rules and enforce them. I dont blame streamers or anyone else when something like this is allowed. Its up to BHVR to put a stop to it.
Step 1 BAN people that DC or Derank. (Give a warning beforehand to give people a chance to stop)
Step 2 Give rank 2-3 15% more bloodpoints and Rank 1 40% more bloodpoints.
Step 3 Add some special cosmetic for each season.
I have suggested these changes for well over a year now... Lets get the ball rolling.
You can indeed meet beginner players (dedicated ones) at rank 1, but the probability of facing higher skilled players rises the higher your rank is, thats true.
of course, red ranks are sweaty, but actually all ranks should be sweaty in a competitive game, its a ranked mode afte rall (Yeah I know we have no casual)
Well it just depends on the playstyle, you can derank with the intention to bully low rank killers with your SWF (jendenise probably the most prominent exmaple) or you derank to test new off-meta or meme builds, chilling around.
There were times when queue time was really high at high ranks, but thats not the case anymore

I enjoy how people are asking for Legion's moonwalk to get nerfed so that the DW only goes down outside of a chase or out of the terror radius. This would in fact buff him. How?Monitor and Abuse.
The Legion has a set 24 meter Terror Radius, with M&A, that goes down to 16. If he were to get 'nerfed' like this, then he could track you down better then nearly every other killer using Whispers while you are affected by DW. As he'd have a idea of where you are because your timer doesn't go down, bringing us to our original problem to begin with.
"Then have it a static 24 radius"
That's still a better tracking ability then Whispers. And making it any larger then his actual terror radius would just make him completely unplayable on smaller maps.
Legion is broken no matter how you try to fix him. What he needs is a rework, not a nerf or buff.
That being said I enjoy playing as the Legion, but I see so many complaints, and especially suggestions on how to 'nerf' his playstyle, I needed to put this out.

Personally i see nothing wrong with dodging until dedicated servers come in.Right now there is Zero ping checks before joining, think a killer wants to play against a team of survivors with 300+ ping? no thanks.
Dedicated servers actually have no impact on the matchmakign at all.
If im not allowed to dodge the toxic squads in lobby anymore, then I will simply DC ingame. Thats fine for me
Yes they would, because dedicated servers would allow the game to sort people by region which in turn would increase the likelihood you get a game with pings similar to your own, which they can't now because the killer is the host.
What?
Dedicated servers have nothing to do with matchmaking. In fact you can sort people by region and then let them play a peer to peer game too, but we dont have enough players for that I guess. My point is right now they DON'T do that and right now there are 25k players right now playing this game it's peak today so far was 27k the amount of players has nothing to do with it.
It's far easier to matchmake with the dedicated servers so they have reason to do it then which they don't currently.
Explain me how dedicated server affect matchmaking
When setting up dedicated servers rules can be implemented on how to handle various connections from multiple regions. Such all of NA playing only against NA and EU only playing against EU. This means that the ping mediation needed would be much less. To take this even further, with dedicated servers you have the ability to push back-end and front-end updates that would add new ways to join, search, and create games. Currently, we depend on the killer for matchmaking at random. Dedicated servers would allow a universal lobby where 5 players join and then one player is selected to be the killer and rest are survivors. This cuts down lengthy dodge windows and wait times.

3 survivors end up escaping while the 4th stays behind. That survivor and the killer can sit there in the match for 30 minutes and get the max amount of xp they can get from that match, while the other 3 get screwed over and get far less xp because they were "too quick" or "too good".Like who the [BAD WORD] designed this system? Player xp should be based on how good you as a player did during the match, not how [BAD WORD] slow you are.
The devs argued this way that the emblem system reflects how well the player did in the game (which is actually a joke) and that the player lvl is just experience, i.e. time spent

So already, this game is leaving a very bad impression for me. I haven't even gotten INTO the game yet, but notice the options are terribly lacking in the VERY BASICS. No ability to change screen resolution in the options (which is the dumbest thing I've ever seen in a PC video game), and no option to toggle crouch? How is it that devs can get away with lacking the very basics when it comes to options? I could forgive crouch toggle, but why in the flying hells should I be forced to edit an .ini file JUST to change my screen rez? If the devs ever see this, come ON; every modern day game has these very basic game options.
I'll still give the game a shot, but that right there throws up some HUGE red flags for me.
Dont even get me started on the options..... its like were living in the last century

It seems like since the legion came out, I'm seeing wayyy less info about changes happening in the coming updates. Maybe I'm just not paying enough attention, maybe the devs are being more secretive (not that I mind this, I feel like it builds up more hype). The hatch can be closed.... probably not
DS will be nerfed.... probably not
Genrush will be adressed.... probably not
SWF will be balanced.... probably not
Freddy will get his rework.... probably not
Promised optimization.... probably not
Proper rank/matchmaking.... probably notA new DLC you can open your wallet for.... thats guaranteed
It will probably be an original killer so you don't have to pay real money and instead buy it with shards. If you play this game actively you can get both the killer and survivor for 9k shards each.
Honestly, I used to play enough to get 9k easily, but at the moment I barely play anymore, I dont even have legion yet

Of course its not an exploit, there isnt even a bug to exploit?
If they claim that next time, ask them whether moonwalking is an exploit too when a survivor does it

This post is literally the epitome of what the devs have been doing wrong. We don't need perks or killers that fix the problems. We just need the problems to be fixed in general..for all the killers and without requiring us to use certain perks to fix their mistakes.
But DLC?

-
The core game mechanics need to be reworked.
A new kilelr and new perks wont help -

2:10 a 96.25% movement-speed killer walks up to you and hits you. This is the only time you got hit. There might be an issue, but I'm not sure how this video exemplifies it.
(By the title I'm assuming it's about the nurse, not the DC)Good, seems like I dont need to watch the issue if OP was caught by a walking nurse

Hello fellow members.
I have been playing this game for 7 months now on PS4. I started camping and tunneling survivors from my first games, since this strategy is the most efficient for me. And I feel no shame to admit it. Also, it is my response to the toxicity of some survivors. I always reach rank 1 every time the rank resets and I usually get 4Ks, because of this. But I have received a lot of hate messages and I'm starting to worry that I'll get banned because everyone reports me. I don't mind the hate messages. I really like the salt (it feeds me more), but I don't like getting reported for playing the game in a legit way. What do you guys think? Will I get banned? No, just ignore the crying baby survivors

For the love of god, can someone explain to me why I'm always getting tunnelled? There was a Spirit who wouldn't even use her power much, I ran her for about 3 minutes with my teammates doing nothing relevant and getting 1 gen. And the second I'm unhooked, she always went for me. Left everyone else. There were 3 gens and it was 3 people alive. She already killed one. The other 2 died in seconds to her. So why did she tunnel me?! My other 2 chases were about 30 seconds. She claimed I ran into her arms even tho I clearly went the other way. .-.Why would the kiler let you escape such that you can loop him again for 3 minutes? nah, better wait for a hook farmer and catch you quickly

Explain me how dedicated server affect matchmaking

this game is trash no balance whatsoever can’t even struggle off the killers arms after I get downed. The killer can see u more than u can see them literally and there’s scratch marks?! How can u tell me people to get good when u literally follow scratch marks the entire game morelike telling u where i’m at every position. Then the survivors running speeds is inadequate.. there’s literally no point and hook placements are literally everywhere u get downed at.. y’all can’t disagree with me and say this game is balanced or whatever for survivors it’s pretty stressful when the killer brings totems to the game on top of their perks and ridiculous running speeds... y can’t we get perks that’ll work for us too.. the strongest perks in the game are literally weak DS is trash. The stun process is trash & every stealth perk is trash

I got tunnelled off the hook every game l played today. I don't teabag or use decisive and it still happens. It's the most frustrating thing waiting 5 to 10 minutes only for this to happen. Please just do something about it, the killers that l see do it every game don't care about losing blood pointsOnly if there is somethign done about survivors tunneling gens
What do you mean tunnelling gens?
Killer hooks a survivor => survivor at 33% objective completion
Killer hooks same survivor => survivor at 66% objective completion (tunneling)
Killer hooks same survivor => survivor at 100% objective completion (tunneling)or alternatively non-tunneling:
Killer hooks a survivor => survivor at 33% objective completion
Killer hooks other survivor => 2 survivor at 33% objective completion
Killer hooks other survivor => 3 survivor at 33% objective completionSurvivors perspecitve:
Survivor repairs a gen partly => gen at 33%
Survivor keeps repairing that gen => gen at 66%
Survivor keeps repairing that gen => gen at 100% (tunneling gens)or alternatively non-tunneling:
Survivor repairs a gen partly => gen at 33%
Survivor repair other gen partly => 2 gen at 33%
Survivor repair other gen partly => 3 gen at 33%Yes it sounds ridiculous, every player would tunnel if he wants to play optimally. But hey, I didnt come up with the term tunneling

I am almost certain that killer will be unplayable for a while, but we will see.

The killer now actually gets less hits through windows than before, still you arent satisfied?
