Enhanced mode for rank 1 players
Have you ever felt that feeling of complacency mixed with softness, joy mixed with boredom, arising from having completed every challenge, from having reached the highest goals, from not having more ambitious objectives to strive for? If you find yourself in this description, then the Enhanced mode could be for you.
I imagine a group reserved for the most talented players of Dead by Daylight, a reward for those who are permanently at the rank 1 of the killer or survivor, but also an opportunity to improve themselves with extremely complex and rewarding challenges.
RULES OF THE ENHANCED MODE (which can be amended according to your valuable contributions):
1) to unlock the Enhanced mode for a role (killer or survivor), it is necessary to reach rank 1 in that role;
2) the Enhanced mode allows every player to equip:
2A) six perks: the balancing ideas are contained in the thread https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/28160/six-perks-system and need not be repeated;
2B) three (different) power's or item's add-ons, which means the possibility of combining deadly skills never seen before;
2C) two (different) offerings, to maximize the profit of bloodpoints or changes to the map;
3) who accesses the Enhanced mode starts with five stars, which can be earned or lost according to the normal system of the Emblems, but with the following variations:
3A) disconnection = - 3 stars;
3B) 0 - 4 pips = - 2 stars;
3C) 5 - 7 pips = - 1 stars;
3D) 8 - 10 pips = 0 stars;
3E) 11 - 13 pips = + 1 stars;
3F) 14 - 16 pips = + 2 stars;
4) the progression in the Enhanced mode is managed as follows:
4A) who loses all the stars is excluded from the Enhanced mode for the rest of the season;
4B) the killer and the survivor who, at the end of the season, rank in first place in the ranking of stars (one per platform), win 1,000,000 bloodpoints or 10,000 iridescent shards or 1,000 auric cells;
4C) the killer and the survivor who, at the end of the season, rank in second place in the ranking of stars (one per platform), win 500,000 bloodpoints or 5,000 iridescent shards or 500 auric cells;
4D) the killer and the survivor who, at the end of the season, rank in third place in the ranking of stars (one per platform), win 250,000 bloodpoints or 2,500 iridescent shards or 250 auric cells;
4E) the ranking of the stars (one per platform) will always be available to interested players;
5) the Enhanced mode is based on a totally random matchmaking: the SWF is not allowed;
6) the outlines of the survivors at the campfire are shrouded in the Dark Mist and the lobby has a 20-second countdown;
7) the burnt offerings are always hidden for all players but the burner: they see only their number;
8) in the tally screen, the equipment of all players is obscured until the end of the trial;
9) the Enhanced mode will not be implemented before the arrival of dedicated servers;
10) who has unlocked the Enhanced mode will be able to continue playing in the Classic mode.
Of course, the maximum bloodpoints stockpile should be raised to 1,500,000 or 2,000,000.

more like too easy mode
I would like some change of pace in the form of a new gamemode, but that ain't it, chief. First of all, the requirements to unlock the gamemode are harsh. There are already very long queues in rank 1, you will never find a match in this gamemode. Besides, I would want a gamemode that is readily available for everyone. I also don't think that simply making everyone a bit more OP is really a "change of pace."
This feels more like an alternate game mode idea as opposed to an elite gamer mode. I see where you are coming from and what you are hoping to achieve. I don't hate the idea, but I do think there would be some match making issues for sure.
While I agree with the general idea, I dont think its a good idea to mess with so many parts that influence the game balance.
As long as BHVR doesnt manage to balance a single gamemode properly, I dont think its a good idea to introduce another one
Where do you get this from? Was there sth official about that?
Also yeah "if they want" is probably the biggest problem
I'm fine with the rewards, but I don't want to play an alternate game mode to get them. Especially when the devs struggle to balance the primary game already. The rewards you mentioned should just be worked into the normal ranking system.
Also, considering it doesn't allow SWF, the killer queue times would be horrendous. Most players would just want to play the base game, and this game mode would just have killers and survivors running the most powerful setups and builds. People derank to avoid the red rank sweat, so why would people play this besides the rewards at the end?
Why? How would you amend it?
It probably would lose playability after the first few days or so though. Once again, all the meta players would come here, and it would be terribly boring because it would essentially be how rank 1 is now, but worse since it incentivizes you to do even better than before. Moris, DS, Sprint Burst, Adrenaline, NOED, iridescent addons, crazy efficient toolboxes, etc. Do we really want a game mode that essentially forces players to go full tryhard mode that has rewards hidden behind it? Casual players wouldn't get the rewards I think they deserve because of it, and would increase the burnout even mode. Not only that, but such a small fraction of the community would get the rewards. I don't like this system for just these reasons.
