True, but you also remain oblivious for 45 seconds if you go outside the 8 meter range of the person you healed. Especially if everyone is injured, the killer could easily sneak up on them and get a free down. Especially if you already run Nurses and know they will probably keep healing.
It's not the greatest perk, but its good enough to be ran consistently on a handful of killers. Im not saying it should be nerfed, ######### that, its just that I definitely see this perk being used more commonly than Iron Maiden and Infectious Fright to a point where running Calm Spirit will be quite viable. Right now its a niche perk and actually fun to run and have killers be confused about the lack of scream when someone gets downed, let alone to constantly be spamming lockers when you find out it has Iron Maiden. But part of Doctors strength is that the scream and shock stack, preventing survivors from vaulting for 3.5/4-ish seconds instead of 2.5 because of the scream(which I honestly dont think was initially intended, but it makes Calm Spirit kinda worth running in the first place).
I mean, people claimed reworked Ruin would never be used because it was "so terrible", yet I still see ruin almost every other game. I have yet to see a so called "unused" perk to not show up once every 1-2 hours. Ofcourse that doesnt include actual terrible perks, I sometimes just dont see them at all, but I've heard plenty people claim that Dead Man's Switch wouldnt get much use at all because "survivors will keep working on gens because they have no reason to instantly unhook", yet here we are, getting that perk at least 3 times a day because survivors dont play perfectly at all times. Especially not when they dont expect certain perks being used. Cruel Limits, in example, actually could have massive value simply because survivors tend to miscalculate how far it actually reaches(in some cases, 2 quick gens can literally block 80% of all vaults), basically creating multiple deathchambers where they run into, giving you a free hit, while also being unable to reach the next loopable structure because the closest ones are mostlikely blocked off too. Yeah, if Cruel Limits was used as commonly as BBQ, ofcourse people would know what to expect in the first place, but the devastating effect a single unsuspected perk can do can literally change games.
The entire point of the perk is that it causes someone to scream after theyve finished the healing process. If everyones still injured... no one has screamed yet because no one has healed yet.
-
Information on your location is only really useful when a killer can act upon it. If you heal up far away from the killer and they find out your across the map... its not really valuable information to them. They probably have more pressing things to handle. For that regard, I doubt the perk is gonna see much use.

Well we dont need to talk about spirit. A good headset as wincondition is comparable to Discord and SWF. its just an unfair advantage
Having a headset to listen to what the game is providing isnt "unfair" at all. The game offers different sounds from left to right and a headset is the easiest way to experience those sounds. Its the same for many things...not Just Spirit. Hearing the revving of Billys chainsaw and being able to tell which direction its coming from for example...

In EW2 it's not that big of a difference, but EW3, hell yeah.
EW2 is about 15% faster than normal, which is the same benifit as having bamboozle.

You said the L T wall pallet was never destroyed...but L T walls do not HAVE pallets. Typically L T walls are among the weakest structures in the game, only stronger than Z walls.

Crossplay would mean that you would be able to play with people on other platforms, not JUST with other Switch owners. You would not have to repurchase the game for that, only if you wanted to play the game on another platform yourself.

It would be so awesome if every single DBD (or any game, really...) player have that viewpoint. All of the players who use abusive language can't realize the outcome of any match won't influence them in real life (Just their temper tbh). It's like they are not aware of their actions, but I'm sure many of them have serious mental illnesses too. Unfortunetaly, nobody can change the fact that cracked (or ill) people will continue to poison the community.
I just try to be civil in endgame chat. My whole thing is I dont care what happened during the game... I'm not gonna turn into a dick afterwards. Often times when ppl blow up in chat...I screenshot it to share on here so we all can get a good laugh about it. If you go to my profile, you can check out some of them by checking out the threads I've started titled "salty endgame chat". If its as bad as the one you've described, I report it. If its just someone complaining that I slugged someone or something... its whatever.

Feel like alot of people dont realize this, but Myers vaults faster than normal even in EW2.

OP actually acknowledged the point about Haunted Ground not activating Soul Guard in their post. The reason they brought it up was precisely to illustrate the point that the only hex which survivors will typically avoid cleansing is Haunted Ground, which is the only one that won't activate Soul Guard, and any other hex perk that will activate it is likely to be cleansed very quickly, meaning that the perk won't be active for very long anyway (if at all). In both cases, the recovery ability on Soul Guard is extremely limited in its usefulness.
It's limited, which is why I dont think its OP or anything...just think its odd that they tied it to Hex perks to begin with. I dont think a survivor perk should be directly tied to a killer's loadout. If you want a survivor perk to counter various status effects or something...sure. This though treats 3rd seal the same as it would treat ruin. I feel like the effect should rather be tied to a survivor action rather than a killer's loadout. That's why I drew my parallel to saying a killer perk that only gives a really strong effect if a survivor is equiped with an "eye perk".
Also, correct me if I'm wrong...but I dont believe devour hope gives the hex status effect either

I always check my ping in those situations since you can see your ping when you pause the game now and my ping is usually fine when stuff like that happens. You can clearly tell when the killer is using a VPN (or just has horrible internet) by how they start lunging from so far away and hit you anyway or how they can hit you a second after you drop the pallet in their face etc. You must have gone against killers like that as well.
I would have loved to show you the video of the "lag switching" thing but I just deleted that recently. It's just way too convenient how their connection is great at the beginning and after chasing me for ages they magically hit the air and down me. In the video I deleted for example , I turned left ages ago and the nurse kept going straight anyway , hit the air and downed me. Then after hooking me her lag stopped and it came back when she started chasing me again. Sometimes I go down so far away from the killer (in an area they can't even see) that they have trouble finding where I went down. Maybe it's just DBD being DBD but I find it way too convenient sometimes.
Would be nice if it showed everyone the killer's ping on the same pause screen so you can see what IT is too when checking your own after a weird hit. Maybe then I'd get accused of less stuff. Typically when I DO have a lagspike... it results in a completely lost chase as opposed to free hits. The game teleports me back to the server's last known location and I completely lose track of the survivor I was just chasing. Not exactly something I'd want to rig to do on purpose.
-
While I wouldnt say the perk is OP, I do think theres afew things here that people are overlooking. The OP brought up Haunted ground. This perk has nothing to do with Haunted ground. Just because haunted ground is a hex perk, doesnt mean the survivor is hexed by it.
Haunted ground never causes the above status effect to appear on your screen. The same is true of other perks as well.
Apart from that, being able to tank Billys chainsaw after being healed up and similar 1 shots shouldnt really be shrugged off...but I doubt itll play a HUGE role. My biggest problem with the perk is the idea that it feels like the killer is being punished for using a hex perk. Hex perks have nothing at all to do with this effect but because your running 3rd seal...this guy gets to tank hits every now and then.
Imagine if they made a killer perk for example that made them able to 1 shot you...but only if your using a perk that has an eye for an icon. That would seem like a weird nerf/counter to perks like deja vu that dont really need to be nerfed.

Your also not the only one who gets there...and theres thousands of screenshots and hours of footage showing the spaghetti matchmaking r20 v r1 killer? That's never been possible up till now..all I can tell you is that the limits of most killers are clear..also I found out ranking up every game is as easy as getting 1 save, one heal, and work on 2 gens..tell me who cant do that..? Being the chaser actually makes ranking up harder as your other emblems still lack even after the changes..and nobody says its every game..or even most games..but when you as a killer can lose 2 gens within the first minute wether you down someone or not then something doesnt add up..different regions perhaps hold part in this as well but that doesnt excuse the results
I'm not talking about the rank 20 vs rank 1 games, although yeah...thats a thing, lol. Hitting high ranks is too easy alot of the time and the ranking system as a whole doesnt make a whole lot of sense. I can play Legion and not kill anyone...and pip. I can then hop on Billy and slaughter a team in record time and not pip. Somehow a team doing all 5 gens and leaving leaves me with a better score than a 4k with 5 gens remaining.
What im talking about though is how alot of people with varying lvls of skill are under the red rank umbrella. You have people who hit red ranks after playing for a month get frusterated and assume the other side is OP or its only possible to win if they use this and that. It would be like if Overwatch lumped every player from Platnum to top 500 together and called it red ranks. You'd have your platnum "red ranks" thinking the game must be imbalanced because they arnt doing as well as the top 500 "red ranks" theyre facing without ever seeing the difference. Its not a gameplay balance issue, its the fact that people of SUCH a huge difference in skill are being deemed the same rank.
If the game was strait up stacked against killers making it impossible to do well if played right...surely that would prevent ANYONE from achieving high streaks as "unviable" killers. Fungoose did a streak of 116 4ks in a row as Plague without addons. The guy is REALLY good I'll admit... but if the game was balanced against him to the point that its impossible when ppl put any effort into it...surely he'd have lost BEFORE the 116 mark.

Between the player and the VPN there’s about 80ms, then between the VPN and the server there is another 50, then between the server and the NA player there is about 50ms too so that’s like 180ms, but then all that data has to be sent back through it all so it end’s up being 360ms, but the server doesn’t know that because it only cares about the ping between the VPN (because that’s where it thinks the EU player is) and itself. So the data takes way longer to send which makes it harder to compensate the side that's being treated unfairly, unlike when you play with someone from Germany, it knows where that person is, that's WHERE that person is and it doesn't have to jump through a bunch of extra connections for the data to be transferred whereas with a VPN it does, that's why they're different.
Fair enough i suppose. Also well put may I add. Still think leaving games to be played by people all over the world is bound to have issues. Me squading up with a guy in China is BOUND to cause some ping.

Dedicated servers didn't really solve any of those issues. High ping killers can still hit you from insane distances and there is nothing you can do about it.
Sometimes killers also conveniently start having high ping when they can't catch me so I'm certain that some sort of lag switching is still possible as well.
These problems will only go away when they finally take the hit priority from killers and let the server decide if it actually hits or not.
The amount of times I've been accused and reported for lag switching because someone's internet acts up is uncountable.Has nothing to do with the fact that your brother is looking up some raunchy videos...nope, its definitely me cheating, lol. VPNs is the new accusation now. Honestly... I cant wait til they do their thing too, if nothing else than to find out the next thing ppl will accuse each other of.
For your examples, you claim everything weird thats ever happened is the result of the killer and whatever ping shenanigans theyre pulling. Weird hit happened? Its the fault of whoever I'm against surely. You didnt stop to find out the killer's ping before declaring them "high ping killers".

Let me put it this way..on both ends as and against a killer..theres times where survivors dont need to try anymore..we are talking straight hook bombing and farming..yet theyll still win despite literally throwing themselves in the killers lap because of perks, not to mention the overall lack of power the killer has end game without noed..now yes theres players who dont belong where they are..but we also need to take into account matchmaking is virtually non existent rn..I play pretty much everyone and let me tell you..how can the game be balanced if half my survivor games despite team mates farming eachother I can sometimes go over 70 percent of the match without resistance from the killer..? He cant just ignore the others..this is why killers like clown and legion fail..they're working with half a kit essentially and even 2 survivors with any game sense can hard carry a match if played correctly..that's not how this is supposed to work
Then explain away MY experiences. Explain away MY 4ks. Are you implying that the amount of people who are super lax is the reason why my killrate probably sitting at around over 80%? I dont slug for the 4k, so the last survivor gets away sometimes... but even with Legion I do just fine for myself. You dont think it could possibly be that the matchmaking in the game is too lax in that experienced players are put against inexperienced players who somehow got their rank 1 status after playing the game for a month?
I always have a hard time buying into that its IMPOSSIBLE for someone else when I do it everyday.

Well to be fair there are too many situations where the killers success is nearly impossible..I see it all the time as survivor..I play with friends significantly lower than my level..yet we can overcome the killers of my level still..my survivor games have literally put me to sleep..doc, oni, freddy, spirit , and billy are the only survivor games I find exciting..its no boogeyman squad..its just most killers require no effort to defeat... if your playing for the win..that's what my time has shown me
I can only speak from personal experience as a killer player. I play survivor MAYBE 5% of the time and tend to stick to the lower tier killers. Typically theres very few times when I ever feel like its IMPOSSIBLE for me to do well. Unless I'm running a very specific build like scratched mirror and get a map that is horrendous for it, like Ormond (been there...it was bad) I very rarely ever feel like its impossible to win. Not saying it NEVER happens...even I have rough games, but thats typically because whatever squad I'm facing is correctly countering me rather than any sort of imbalance.
ATM, i can grab Bubba for my rank 1 games and get way over a 50% kill rate. Typically survivors dont even get the gates open 80% of the time. I'm interested in seeing what they do with matchmaking and if I see a raise in difficulty with it. Some people dont need to be at rank 1, and I feel like alot of the frustration around "unbalanced gameplay" stems from players being over their heads. To use your own example, you said you went against killers who were your lvl with abunch of newbie teammates. Do you really believe every player whos killer at your lvl is truely the same skill lvl? I'm hoping the matchmaking change will sort that out. Careful with assuming every Bubba is gonna be an easy game...it could be me, lol.

The issue is the game is actually forcing survivors to learn and improve..up till recently nurse was the only killer who dod that and when she fell from graces..well..now killer isnt allowed to have anything that hints at real resistance
Wouldnt know anything about that since I never got into playing Nurse to begin with. I just picked whoever I wanted to and proceeded to screw over teams using Bubba and Myers while reading about how thats impossible to do. Theres always the stories of the boogyman SWF squads and if I faced THEM id surely lose. If I won a match, it mustve been a squad who was just joking around whereas if I lost that match...THAT was the boogyman squad.

for 9 seconds, youd need swing chains AND Jump rope combined

The only two things i'd change about Freddy are:

From what I've heard, playing on other regions just to get an advantage is bannable. Playing on the same region with a VPN is not.
Really dont see how its any different though than survivors joining SWFs groups from around the globe. Was playing the other day with a guy from Germany while I myself live in the US. The game allows me to invite him into my SWF squad and that would surely lead to the killer having some...interesting experiences on at least one of us depending on which region the game managed to pull the killer from.

Same. you learn the difference between self care, team healing, totem cleansing, and the “wake up” action.
But that’s my point with aura blocking. In the case of healing a teammate (or vice versa) and Nurses, it’s totally annoying knowing my aura was blocked, but it doesn’t matter, the killer still sees the teammate and is heading our way anyway.
Feel like you may have a point for blocking the aura of a teammate if your interacting with them, but making it an AOE effect isnt a good idea. Then it would also block the auras of all survivors who are working on the same gen as you for example.

I think people just don't want to admit they aren't as good as they think they are as a Survivor.
Now that the balance is more... Well... Balanced compared to how it was in 2017-2018, these players are seeing their advantages taken away from them and they think Killers get to play with "No-Skill" when that is far from the truth.
Pretty much... Game is in a pretty good spot, so I kinda have an eye roll at most of the things ppl claim to be unbalanced. Keys and moris I can agree are BS, but you cant tell me its impossible for a killer to apply pressure and that only like 3 killers are "viable". I'm a fan of playing alot of various killers, many of them being low or mid tiers (if you give any value to tierlists to begin with...) and many people THINK what they're doing is the obsolute best they couldve POSSIBLY done, no matter what that is, and them losing must be a sign of imbalance. The killer holding W and vaulting every window a survivor vaults without ever trying to mindgame or split pressure... That guy is very likely going to see his own gameplay as playing perfectly and doesnt know how he could POSSIBLY improve to avoid the obvious "genrush" he's experiencing.
I can agree, gen times could be pretty BS in the past with suped up toolboxes and such...but nowdays, you dont really have much room for complaints.
Sidenote...I feel like I'm the worst "Killer main" because of this outlook, lol

I don’t want to be healing another survivor and have SS light up warning me that the killer is using Nurses only for whoever I’m healing’s aura to still be shown to the killer.
Not hard to put 2 and 2 together, lol. As an old Freddy main, I got pretty good at being able to tell when one of my sleeping survivors was being helped by an awake one by the motions of the aura.

Myers isn’t that bad. He makes matches quite tense which is refreshing.
Probably the only thing I really DO NOT like is managing to successfully avoid him all match only to get caught for the first time late game and discover he’s using that insta-kill add on.
Probably one of my most memorable matches was against a Myers while I coincidentally had a stealth/aura blocking build of Calm Spirit, Iron Will, Distortion, and Sole Survivor. I just threw the build on randomly and when a Lery’s offering popped up (old Lery’s) I immediately had a suspicion it was Myers running those aura reading add ons. Within 30 seconds of the match starts I lose a distortion token and heard Michael’s heavy breathing. I thought “OMG what a fluke I thought to randomly chuck on Distortion & Sole Survivor”. It was a fun tense match that probably frustrated and confused this Myers that there was 1 survivor (me) that he could never find. I was the only survivor to escape.
Had a game like that once. Was so confused when I couldnt find the Laurie at the end, even though I KNEW she was working on this particular gen. Finally found her and tried to see her aura through the wall...nothing. One of the few times a survivor had ever used sole survivor, and it had to be when im using scratched mirror, lol.

Maybe, but should we really care about what people that can't recognise a good play from the other side think?
For an example of people being blinded at what the killer has to do to get a powerful effect... Look at any post complaining about Myer's addons. People who complain about the Tomestone addons dont care that the Myers gave up alot of time stalking as opposed to slashing and hooking to get that effect. The people who complain about Scratched mirror dont care that Myers is moving at 105% speed. They only look at the positive effect by itself and deem it OP. You will STILL have people doing that no matter what hoops and hurdles Huntress has to jump through because they just see that the addon has a strong positive effect.
I hate to say it like this, but typically if its something that the survivor can notice... they arnt going to be a fan of that addon. Addons that give the killer advantages without being openly noticeable to survivors fly under the radar, while addons that hinder the survivors (exhaustion, slowdown, ect) get hate and addons that speed up the killer (tuning guide, flower babushka) also get similar hate. Nobody is asking for nerfs towards Freddy's Dress addons that grant him aura reading when they interact with a pallet...because they dont even know its happening. People are STILL claiming his slowdown addons which when stacked and at their absolutely most powerful situation will make a gen take 89 seconds for a single sleeping survivor hitting all good skillchecks, should get further nerfs.

Some people just aren't mature enough for an M Rated game, I guess.
But NO killer is a "real" killer for these people. EVERY killer is easy mode with their OP broken mechanics... I know I've seen plenty of rants on these forums lately of "Doctor is a no skill killer"...
I remember plenty of ppl getting pissed off about DC punishments, not because of the game disconnecting them and then punishing them for it... but because they felt they should be able to DC against killers they felt was BS or unfun without a penalty and that if the devs want to do something about DCes, they should instead take out all those unfun things. Thing is...EVERYONE has at least 1 killer they dont like going against. Every killer in the roster is hated by at least 1 person for whatever reason. Youd leave the floodgates open to DCes on EVERY match.

We shouldn't, but those same people want Killers like Deathslinger to be nerfed because players who play Deathslinger are actually good at playing Deathslinger. Thing is, they are also pretty vocal in the Forums, Reddit, Twitter, Steam Forums... You name it, they are probably there.
Because when they lose, it's not their fault, it's because the Killer is Overpowered or their tactic is "Boring".
I've heard "boring" SO many times... I remember finishing up a match as Legion in under 10 minutes with a 4k 5 gens remaining. One of the survivors who just happened to be a streamer was talking about how the match was boring because I used slowdown perks instead of using an "interesting" build. I mentioned that the game wasnt long at all, but that didnt matter...the fact that I had that build was the important part. I was left asking them how I could possibly make the build more "interesting". Typically killer perks fall under 3 catagories: Slowdown, tracking and chase. I had no problem finding survivors to initiate chases with, so I didnt really need to use more perks for tracking...and I was having no problem downing survivors in a timely fashion, so I didnt really need more chase perks either. She just said I should use BBQ or something rather than what I DID have on...because somehow that would be more "interesting" and less "boring".
But yeah... feels like "boring" just gets tied to ANY killer you play. I've heard it while playing Bubba and 4ks with only 1 gen done. A survivor said I should use a killer that takes skill. I've heard it as Spirit, in which a survivor pipped up that I have ears. I've heard it ALOT as Deathslinger. Apparently a survivor having the constantly paranoia about being shot at any moment during a chase translates to "boring". I think thats just a word people are plugging in when they dont wanna claim something is unfair.

My point wasn't that Trapper and Wraiths animations were interesting because of the animation itself. The first person view is the redeeming factor. I agree, I wouldn't be opposed to changing their animations. I still don't think that means it has to be third person though. Imagine looking through the eyes of Trapper, and stepping on a survivors head into a bear trap, almost like Billys. Although I just can't agree on the Deathslinger part. Nothing else to bring up besides opinion I guess. It's just like what I said earlier, there's always going to be more action going on in the front (from the survivors pov) rather than the back (the killers view). Don't think that should make first person irrelevant. And if it were more relevant, the animations would have a bit more effort to make it engaging in first person.
If something like Legions mori were first person, it wouldn't have to bob crazy one-to-one like Legion does in DBD and give you a headache. I'd love to see something like that from Legions POV, because it's no longer an animation of the survivor struggling to fend of Legion. It's an animation of the survivor struggling to fend of YOU.
I'm not really too worried about anything being too "bob crazy" but rather missing alot of details because of first person. Spirit's mori for example...sure, youd see her slashing a survivor and looking VERY much like Wraith or Trapper's mori, but you'd completely lose the ferocity of it because youd be unable to see anything besides her hands and weapon. You wouldnt see her facial expressions or poses.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SS4kVH4viFsWith this they made sure to add details like her phasing around while slashing, the sword closeup and her pose and roar after the act was done because they knew people would be able to actually see that. It became much more cinematic. If we were stuck with a first person view however...how would it be any different than THIS?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MxPPgr6og8UAll we'd get to see is the slashing left and right.

This is just my opinion, but you can't find moris on chests, you can find keys.
Had a game yesterday, killed 1 survivor, rest 3 gen themselves, had no progress on any gen, all of the rest of the survivors were on death hook, but they found a key and all 3 escaped.
That is fair? Not at all.
I get that there are things to "counter" keys like franklin's but no one is going to waste a perk slot for that especially when most killers need slowdown perks or tracking perks.
Franklins doesnt even really counter keys. A survivor can just pick it back up when they need it. Its a mild inconvenience, not a counter.

Good point to be made. But I think the newer animations not being fitting for first person, is because they've disregarded first person as a factor when making them now in the first place, because its not expected anymore. So it comes full circle. I still think first person would be fun for almost all moris. It's always going to be more cinematic for the survivors anyway, what makes the pov interesting, is seeing the same kill but through different perspectives. One as the victim, and one as the killer. Even deathslingers mentioned, I think would be really cool to see in first person. Lifting someone upwards spearing them, and shooting through their head, only to kick them after. It's no different from "staring at the back" of a survivor in bubba/trapper/wraith/billys moris. Some of them I think are perfect for first person, like Ghost Face or Plague, but still weren't.
The community has been pretty vocal on changing those early moris though into something better. We REALLY dont want to be emulating them. You can find LOTS of posts reccomending changes to Trappers mori sticking your head in a beartrap and similar posts regarding the rest. The idea of stabbing a survivor in the back...the same thing ive been doing all game, hearing BANG and then kicking them just sounds dull. All the action is happening in the front with that spear coming out of the survivor's mouth, which would be a detail I wouldn't get to see.

These are probably the best explanations for it. It would be great to have other animations that are in first person, but not every mori works with First Person. I mean, look at PH, you wouldn't see anything through first person because of his headgear! XD
That made me chuckle

Just make it to where it's a one shot pass a certain range, this will make it to where only skilled huntresses will actually be able to make good use out of it.
No matter how much you make it to reward skill, people will get pissed by being hit by it. When a survivor goes down in 1 hit, theyre not gonna go "Oh, well the killer had to do a 360 no scope blindfolded...so i guess its fair". Theyre going to see what happened on THEIR end, which is losing 2 health states.
-
Feel like youd likely miss alot with a 1st person view. Deathslinger's for example would haave you staring at a survivor's back.

Key will disappear when it was drop or carrier died.
And killers can use mori after 4 hooks. (not first hook mori)
Keys dont just disappear. If the carrier dies, unless that person was using an addon that allows them to keep the item when they die, the key remaings on the floor infront of the hook. The survivor teammates can then pick up the key from there.

Ooh, that's interesting. So she'd become unloopable at short walls, but it'd also be harder to play? She'd have a ridiculously high skill cap to consistently win those though...
Not quite what I said, lol. Think of it this way. Lets say your healing up behind a gen and get scalped by the hatchet. You might feel like that was unfair, when in actuality...the Huntress managed to avoid hitting the hitbox on the gen itself to get you behind it. Shrinking down the hatchet might give you an idea of not having to worry about getting tapped by a tree trunk, but all of a sudden its also easier to AVOID hitting the gen that your hiding behind.
-
You gotta remember that theres more at play that is making the hits look wonky than just the hitbox on the hatchet. A survivor's hitbox is not the exact shape or size of the survivor. All survivors have the same pill shape hitbox making it equally as easy to hit Jeff as it is to hit Claudette, even though Jeff is visual much larger than Claudette. Factor this is with lag in that the survivor model is further back on the killer's screen than on the survivor's screen... It makes things look wonky.
To answer your question though, do I think if Huntress throw hatchet shaped projectiles rather than pill shaped projectiles would it matter? I think it would cause changes but not in the way you might expect. That same hatchet hitbox that seems to make it easier to hit survivors also often enough screw over the Huntress player in hitting objects in the enviroment. Think of boxes and such that make up loops for example and all the times Huntress players will try to throw over them. Those larger than life hitboxes often times makes contact with the boxes when it visually shouldnt, just as often as they make contact with survivors when it visual shouldnt. I think if you were able to change them to be hatchet shaped/sized and get them to work...it would kinda balance out because atm...its wonky for BOTH sides.

Its a stalemate that's completely being controlled by the survivors. I can absolutely expect the survivors to try to finish a gen as opposed to expecting the killer to just chase someone across the map so they can hurry up and lose already. If the survivor is doing ANYTHING to further the game such as tapping a gen or healing and such...thats one thing. If they're just waving at the killer and fleeing across the map...they're no longer trying to win and just trying to stall.
Yeah...I'm not gonna feed a troll thats just gonna tweek my comment and spit it back at me to try to get a response. Have a good day.

If I three-gen a team hard, I am going to guard the gens until they make a mistake. It isn't malicious, it's waiting until I have an opening without giving up my gen advantage. There is no reality where you can mount a counterargument against this being a legitimate gameplay pursuit.
(Also, in my experience -- as both survivor and killer -- this kind of situation makes for some tense and exciting matches when multiple survivors are still alive. People act like it's a really negative situation, but that's not universally true.)
I'm not saying 3 gen is bad, I'm saying refusing to try to down ppl and acting only to stall the game is bad. If you refuse to step 5 feet away from your circle of gens... Theres no more game to be had.
