Awhile back, I watched a video about a streamer who had a tendency to ragequit alot. They essentially just brought luck offerings JUST so they could quit after 1 hook and even got mad when they realized one game that they didnt bring the right offering for it. Its gotten to the point that whenever I see a secret offering for survivor, I just assume its probably the shack hatch offering. Decided to dust off my Myers and played some scratched mirror tonight. Haven't really bothered with it since the map offering change so was expecting to get rolled on any outdoor map... instead I kept getting games with ppl DCing after 1 chase and even got cussed out in Spanish. We kinda tend to mix killer win rates with kill rates although those can be quite different in either direction. If I play bunch of games with 3ks each time for example, thats a 100% win rate and a 75% killrate. On the flip side if my games are a mix of 4ks and 1ks, I have a 50% win rate and a 62.5% killrate. So... I feel like maybe they mistyped or something when entering the challenge amounts. The global amount of healing was only 3 million health states while we're expected to get 175 million hooks. Knotted rope was left how it is because people were worried about stacking the effect with perks. While I know they already said they're holding off on alot of the PTB stuff, there was 1 part of it I think warrants discussion and could possibly be room for really nice changes going forward. BHVR for seemingly the first time ever have noticed that some killers are stronger than others and shouldn't get the same blanket benefits for the fresh hooks. I dont have access to PTB, so was really hoping someone who DOES could test this. Would it proc the anti-tunnel penalties if someone using shoulder the burden dies, even if they've never been hooked before? This isn't going to be a rant about balance or anything. This is PURELY opinion, if your thoughts are different, thats fine. I've been playing survivor more often than I use to with the new rift system. I still consider myself a killer main, but for the 20% of my games that I play survivor... about half is as SoloQ and half is with at least 1 other person. I was reading a YouTube comment sectionand someone had the idea of a survivor perk that did what happens in 2v8 where it just tells you any time a killer sees your aura. This had me thinking about other 2v8 features and if they'd make balanced perks. 2v8 shows the aura of every unhooked survivor after a gen pops. I hate when ppl use bugged perks and such to get an unfair advantage against ME, and I dont wanna be a hypocrite. I was testing them abit last night and saw something I dont THINK was stated about them. AFK crows dont appear if you are the last survivor. It's completely removed once it turns into a hatch game for the last guy. With scratched mirror being pretty much deleted due to map offerings, I started thinking about Myers OTHER playstyles. I know alot of times when I see something like a Badham map offering with basement offering, I just KNOW it's going to be a frustrating match. Same is true for red moris (not AS bad now days). It use to be when talking about various slowdown perks, people would insist the killer needs to just learn to apply pressure better instead of relying on perks. Fair I guess... What EXACTLY does that mean though. People don't like when killers jump from 1 down to another to apply pressure via slugging. Now players could very well use them EVERY match if they want to avoid map offerings whereas before, it really wasn't common enough to be able to do that. Based off what was shown, they intend to reintroduce the same remote hooks that they had in the anniversary event in an attempt to open a window for saves. Does anyone remember what happened with save attempts during anniversary event while the killer spammed remote hook button? The survivor would get glitched and essentially be out of the game.
