Yeah... people really underestimate trapper.
Most people cant play anything, but top tier killers and accuse the other killers of being weak because they don't need or use the same perks everyone else does. Why play creative after all.

Changing the rarity of an add-on doesn't make the add-on less bullshit.
Why do people keep suggesting this thoughtless idea?
I wish it was removed for something more unique like
Instead of turning Spirit and Survivors invisible it keeps them visable and as she travels she has a massively jacked up version of passive phasing so she constantly blinks in and out of existence with every step she takes while making no sound. Giving her a creepy AF addon that if you fail it's all on you.

I think it be good to do it, but only with consoles
I wouldn't mind the introduction of PC either. As long as you had the option to turn auto aim off.

Though keep in mind, this is red ranks we're talking about. Hillbillies always have either instant chainsaw or turning add-ons. The sweatiest around.
Doesn't change my opinion in the slightest. Most Billys tend to be boosted animals who still run the outdated BBQ&C, Spirit Fury + Enduring Combo, and Ruin. Then call you trash if you drop pallets early because you knew what they had lol Rage when Ruin gets broken. Dont realize going from a empty chainsaw to a full one takes longer to break a pallet then a kick. Can't curve well. Easily dodged.
There are Billy's that are incredibly good though that use just BBQ&C, Enduring, and 2 random perks. Yet addons or not honestly you still can easily loop a Billy. The great Billy's tend to be amazing killers, but I still say Hag and Huntress are better overall.
Billy also happens to be one of 3 killers I find incredibly boring to play with or against.
-
@THEghostface said:
If the three killers that are considered the highest tier, being Spirit, Billy, and Nurse were removed from the game, who would you actually play as instead?
I wouldn't classify Billy as top 3 anymore I think Huntress and Hag are better overall killers with better potential. Billy's strength lies in the fact he has a instadown and its amazing if he catches you outside a safe loopable area. Otherwise he turns into a basic M1 killer with a good survivor let one anyone far more skilled as a survivor.
I would probably play Pig, Huntress, and Hag Exclusively in that order.
-
That's because people still use Ruin over Corrupt Intervention on him and can't be creative with traps.

Having a lot of tools doesn't make them good.
The lunge has the loudest sound alert and a huge wind up. It's better than just having an m1 but mostly you'll m1.
Stealth is nice but the slowdown penalty for moving in it is huge and costs a lot of time.
Hats too inconsistent to slow the game down much at all, and can be outplayed by just 99%ing gens. Getting consistent downs slows the game much more. Useless at endgame.
Her tools are all weak, while she has more of them that most it isn't worth second tier. There's a much better stealth killer with one shot downs and full speed while stealthed.
Pigs insanely good if you only what your doing she's well above the average killer.
Lunge still gets people at loops, gens, and random locations plus your usually just using stealth to grab people off gens. The roar is beneficial for mindgames over the actual dash attack.
Her stealth is slow, but not crippling like your acting. Most Pig mains seem to run Monitor and Abuse with Whispers to know when to crouch to negate this. Some even know the visual ques to know when to crouch anyways.
Hats slow down the game with 48 seconds between hats not including travel time between boxes or addons. You call it useless, but in reality 48 seconds is usually longer then ruin will last. Her hats also create another objective for survivors to do. Just dont be stupid and add Corrupt Intervention on her over Ruin.
All together shes a fantastic killer if you know how to play her. She can easily outclass a lot of killers and deserves to be in A tier if you know what your doing that is. Problem is everyone's afraid to learn a killer who's not considered top tier and doesn't realize just how amazing these other killers can be.

Where you got that information from?
It's ready a fact on the internet that ps4 did a few crossplay games. No need to act suspicious just google it.

This explains the preemptive nerfs on Pig.

Final? Did I miss the entire tournament arc?
This was my first legit impression.
Legion gets hurt by his own power half his addons are useless and hurt his power again. He can be played at high ranks and high skill, but any killer that is fundamentally hurt by the power they can't really compete with those Sweaty SWF squads everything thinks they get.
Leatherface may be hurt by his power, but unlike Legion has perks that can actually push him over the top and make him a fantastic killer. Niche perk is niche but incredibly strong on him and Wraith. His addons dont directly make him worse either like some of Legions.
Compairing these two killers is honestly a insult. Leatherface is miles above Legion. Not sure if it matters because both are pretty bad in retrospect, but with the right perks and the right main Leatherface goes from bottom of the barrel to borderline broken able to compete with those same Sweaty SWF that Legion could never handle.
-
@Boss said:
Well one can both love their main and still think they need a nerf.
I would prefer they rework Prayer beads before they nerf her honestly. I feel that addon causes a lot of problems that might be a better start then killing of a killer *looks at legion*
I admit she's insanely strong, but I feel she was pushed as a balanced killer a little too much and that balance broke her.

Yes, except it shouldn't be "how many times they've been hooked," it should be "which hook state they're on," because survivors can reach second state on their first hook.
I have accidentally sacrificed survivors because I was mistaken about who they were or which hook state they were on multiple times.
I wouldn't mind this.

Yes, they need funding. However, the shear amount of cosmetics their dropping indicates a money grab and not a operating budget. Why else would there be new ones constantly and always for cells.
Plus, more cosmetics, less bug fixes means players quitting, therefor losing future items sales. Self damaging loop
I think most people also dont understand that games have multiple different developers. Cosmetics and Bugs are under different areas.
-
Ignoring basically everything except trapper since everyone else has workarounds even Leatherface. All trapper needs is double the amount of traps on the map and to start with 3 of them with all traps auto set at the start of the trial.

its only enough for if you want EVERY single perk on Every single charecter which is only usefull for killers. Even so i have spent over 1 mill on a survivor and havent even gotten all the perks yet...:/
Try closer to 10 million and with each new perk it continues.
Takes 1.2 million BP x each survivor for all perks.
Then on one survivor it requires about 10 million BP give or take to get them all maxed. This was before the rework which should cut off about 33% of the total.

That map is a great test of whether survivors/killers are smart. Whether the killer thinks ahead about making sure they defend one end, or if the survivors are smart enough to not leave the remaining gens at one end.
Thats probably why I enjoy it.

Main here and I would remove prayer beads from the game we dnt need them and they are boring to use. It's easy mode I love this killer, but those beads need to go. Otherwise shes quite balanced people just refuse to adapt to her and it shows. She's a unique killer and demands a style of play people dont want to play.

Honestly until people learn where all the gens are this map actually works well without ruin.
Agreed I normally play without it regardless as I make a point not to use it. Pigs one of the few killers I actually enjoy it on since it makes another objective between RBT, Gens, Ruin Hex Totem, Hooked Survivors, Slugged Survivor. I just wanted to test Knock-Out with a Blindness Trap since it was a new map.

I think I know what you're talking about, I do something similar its more like a 180 turn than a 360. Just look at the killer maker sharp turns left to right or whatever, you've got to time it right. basically you gotta be swinging 180 left or right when they attack, if its timed right they will swing when your on one side you quickly turn back the other way, they miss because they don't follow you while turning
Yes this is exactly it I think. I'll have to practice it as a survivor so I can get better at avoiding it.

Aim assist is a common problem on console, a survivor can’t really abuse it though, they can try to, but it’s something that can happen all the time, or never, it’s random
Alright so they just happen to randomly synch up not a legit tactic then?

I can double check to see if my ps4 saved it later when I get off work, but normally I just check to see if the spacing is ok.

I dominated with Hag and Pig.
I used a Ruinless Pig with blindness traps and knockout. I had 4 dc after the second person.

Yes, false hits happen a lot on ps4. Even when reaching the survivors, the auto aimm will make you hit air... Be patient and don't lunge to much !
Ok so it has nothing with them just wiggling when they run to offset auto aim? I noticed it only happens when I face survivors who do this weird action. Honestly I have auto aim turned off on PC so I don't have much experience with it anyways.

I think they’re just trying to throw their scratch marks further and make them appear more erratic.
Dont see a point in that if I'm literally behind them, but it could be why.
-
I just wish that hatch spawned when 2 gens were done like the old days before EGC. Killers shouldn't be punished for doing a fantastic job and survivors shouldn't be rewarded for mass failure.
-
Survivor: I try and enjoy myself playing with builds I like over meta builds. I got all perks maxed on my main a long time ago so I can play any build I want and have fun. I generally play a balanced game between looping, gens, stealth, and unhooks. I'm excellent at using LoS blockers to get away.
I love playing against Nurse, Huntress, and Hag.
I get bored playing against Billy, Plague, and Myers.
Killer: I'm incredibly aggressive and follow my own code of No Tunneling No Camping. If you happen to be the survivor who got unhooked I'll slug you and leave. I want to have fun playing and I hope you do as well. I like to play killers who I enjoy and I play them well. I try and distribute pressure and hooks evenly.
My favorite killers are Spirit, Pig, Huntress, Hag, and Nurse.
My least favorite are Billy, Plague, and Myers.

@[Deleted User] said:
KR/JP region, Many Killers do Camping/Tunneling except Nurse/Sprit/Billy. Since we don't have enough Killer playerbase overhere, most of us take those as strategies especially M1 Killers. Things have changed little bit after DS/BT update, but still valid.
Someone who complains abt those sometimes get blamed by local DBD communities. It's like whatever u do it's fine just open green ping lobbies for us and that's why I've seen many foreign players call KR/JP killers are toxic.
It seems that Korean survivors learn how to loop first and Japanese survivors learn how to stealth first. Very different from two countries even thou we play together. Of course pro survivors in both countries are playing well in every way.
Thanks :) it's a shame it's like that on those regions.

Still I did my goal which was escaping, it should grant me at least a safety pip being the most important part
If the killers bad expect a depip.

You can blind every killer even with lightborne. Aim lower on the char model with Spirit and you'll find it. If you move closer expect to be hit.

Oh I love facing a good Nurse. Probably my favorite thing to play against is a great nurse. I use to main her till Spirit dropped. Towards the end my goal of each match with Nurse was see how fast I could end it.
I suck at Nurse now
