If there`s a flashlight - Franklin`s. I'm a Hag main and I never have trouble with flashlights, not even against SWF. The only time when flashlights are a problem is when someone has OoO.

Her teleport is NOT underwhelming. If you're placing your traps appropriately you should never get looped, ever. If you're commiting to chases in places where you don't have traps that's on you. That's the simplest mistake people make when playing Hag, and people who think she's bad generally don't execute her gameplay properly. Half of the work of the chases is done before you run into survivors. There's a very simple flowchart here. If they're running towards your traps, you down them, no questions asked. If they're not, you abandon chase and go somewhere else. She downs people faster than anyone else if you execute her properly. She has ways of near instantly hitting survivors after the trap is triggered, leaving little to no counterplay after they run into your traps.

Yes, she plays half map. And that's a good thing. Unlike other killers you don't have to worry about patrolling every generator. Hag has the absolute best zone control of the game, bar none. Survivors may get one or two generators for free, but once you get one down and you set up your traps around 4 gens, they're playing your game.

Hag's not for everyone. She requires conceding, patience and planning ahead. People who think she's weak are simply not playing her properly. And that's fine tbh. Just like Nurse and Huntress aren't for everyone, Hag has her very specific playstyle which is different from anything else in the game but also extremely strong. She's MILES better than most killers in the game once you learn how to properly use her. Don't dismiss her strength before watching people who can actually play her.

And please don't compare her teleport to Freddy's. Hag teleports and smacks you instantly. Freddy has a 5 second warning. His teleport isn't meant for chases, hers is.

Since you main her like a friend of mine I got a question. Do you get crap chaser emblem as well when you do well? Usually if I dominated with her I barely manage silver.

  • @Tr0g said:

M1 killer with 110% mov speed, has teleports but by the time you teleport to a triggered trap (if it's triggered at all) the survivor has quite a head start and the chase lasts FOREVER with this movement speed.

The only viable playstyle I've worked out is.. camping for a 1-2k game. Against SWF, no chance.

This is absolutely the worst killer I've played so far, even Trapper is much more useful.

Anyone got any strategies for the Hag that don't involve camping and might be viable against SWF? They can loop me nearly forever with this mov speed. Only solo players fall for the traps.

She's a incredibly powerful killer definitely one of the top tier killers without much effort. Problem is you need to learn how to place traps and where. When I say how it means what is the purpose of this trap. Is it to Abuse the camera flick, protect a hook/location, or keep survivors on guard? Location Location Location is important with her. She's not a chaser, but instead a Spider who expects you to come to her. Hit the survivor and move on. Hag is one of the most powerful killers if you know how to survivor well.

If you think rank matter cherish that moment it wont last long

rank doesnt mean anything you cant even tell now it just means how much you played in this month because of new rank reset,

so since you wanted to be R1 now you will stay in red rank till ranks rework, enjoy

I think if you can do red rank as survivor on the first day it means some stuff with the previous system of getting from 10 to 1. Currently it's kinda just meh.

Killer is a bit more difficult since it's harder to PIP or even safety on some situations.

Title says it all, I am just curious to know. The perk itself takes 32 seconds to heal, WITHOUT other slowdown perks, like Thana, SB, Coulrophobia, etc.

I just feel like bond is such a better option since it gives more information. Would a buff to SC be too much to ask for? Maybe not by making it meta, but I feel like it needs something.

Let me know what you guys think!

Ah well that's unfortunate, but at least you'll be able to finish this Tome.

It is I'm ready lvl 63 and only had 5 matches as of yet. I should be able to finish tomorrow luckily.

Seeing the charm blink at me from across the map scared the crap outta me though since i didnt expect it.

  • @FireHazard said:

Well, it's finally here. This is about the end of Tome l for a lot of people, including myself. And while I of course wasn't the first to 100% Tome l, I did indeed finally finish it!

I personally have enjoyed some of the challenges, others not so much, but it was overall an interesting and unique experience to go through personally. What lies ahead with Tome ll? That's currently unknown, but we'll see what happens with the continuation to the lore, challenges, and new Rift as well!

Here's to Tome l! Now we'll see what unfolds in Tome ll!

Now here's some images for... context?

And thus ends Tome l, the Awakening... (Not really the end, but you get what I mean).

My ps4 pro unfortunately died on tome 4 release. Luckily a friend loaned me his ps4 today. So I just need 10 levels to reach tier 70 and then finish my tome for the master changes and the reward.

Sadly I do not think I'll be doing future ones even after sony fixes my pro.

  • I want to combine Huntress and Trapper for the ultimate style of Hunter character. The paranoia of being hunted down would be massive.

  • What killer, build, playstyle, gaming device do u use?

  • @Dr_Loomis said:

Just completed the first Tome, all challenges levels 1-4.

Are you planning on buying the next Premium pass?

I personally think the majority of unlockables were pointless. I didn't like any of the charms except the Trapper's trap which is authentic. The majority of the other charms where just cack.

The Trapper mask was a good cosmetic, but that aside, pretty meh.

I also found some of the challenges irritating, but that was was usually down to the potatoness/saltanomics of some of the fellow players.

Personally. I'm not buying it again. I spend waaaaay too much time already on DBD. I spent all the accumulated cells on cosmetics too.

I won't I'll invest into another indie game for lobby que times instead.

I regret this one, but wanted the Wraith Wrapon, Huntress Weapon, Trappet Outfit, and the Technician Charm.

Sounds really interesting. I think I will try it on wraith with faster movement and pgtw. Hope I will manage to pull off some nice plays. It sounds really evil ^^ muhahaha

Full build was BBQ&C, Thrilling Tremors, PGTW, and Ruin. It did really well with Pig, but I have no idea on Wraith honestly, but I wish you good luck. It was definitely fun and it seemed fundamentally really strong, but like I mentioned I didn't exclusively test it outside P2 Pig and Farm builds.

I personally like to play DBD killers with a build that compliments each killer and work around that. I'm not a big fan of 17 killers with little or no variation in builds.

Im really only disargeeing in the information aspect here. I think its eitherway difficult to compare bbq and TT because they serve different uses. For example Bbq is awesome to pin point survs. That can be very strong in combination with certain builds. TT is for example awesome for fast traversing killers and get the information on gens.

I will give it a try. It sounds really intersting. I was always thinking bbq and TT combined is a bit too much for gen/survivor observation. Would you recommend a certain killer with it like pig?

Ofc it bothers me because its annoying. Therefore Im going to ignore this section.

The builds pretty fun honestly since it more or less covers all the basis for what you need and it is pretty versatile. The biggest advantage is that between BBQ and TT you can effectively know which gen's are lost and which gens to pop. Where all survivors are at any time when you hook someone and down people. TT seals gens for 16 seconds during travel time which makes up for the lack of pressure at that time. If you don't actively make it obvious you have BBQ you can do some pretty impressive plays. I usually toss it on a Killer as a farming build though since i normally avg a 4k and 30k points with this build.

I ended up with it on Pig by accident since it was just the best perks plus a farming perk since i was attempting to P3. I will say it definitely was fun on her since with her RBT you can really really hurt people because of all the delays and awareness. Then again Pig is also one of my mains.

Bbq and Kindred basekit aren't similar mate. One buffs the killer, while the other buffs mostly just solo survivors

They are different, but the overall theory would be for the same purpose.

Tell killers where to go which is free information. While survivors get to see what each other and the killer and where he goes as free information. Both help with doing objectives

While I do agree camping is boring. I dont think Kindred or something similar is the buff survivors need.

Thats the point in a discussion, to understand differenct opinions. We dont have to have the same one. Its not like Im a bbq fan. I also run TT in my standard loadout for my main. But imo if I compare them in point of information bbq is more viable. That was the point I wanted to make in regards of your original statement.

I mentioned the locker in this comparison because its the most consistent way to avoid bbq. The gen would also be lost with TT in that case. I dont understand your point here.

I dont sidetrack anything. I said "I think experienced players will prefer bbq over TT in terms of information". Instead of feeling personal offended you just could have asked how I come to this thinking. You even make me respond to this annoying bs twice.

I still disagree. TT has more information and is useful for longer in multiple situations then BBQ. As someone who uses it then you should understand the uses it can bestow is generally more useful in more situations. While BBQ may provide raw information it wont provide any.other details or help.

On a side note try using both it has a very interesting result. When I leveled my Pig for p3 I ended up with BBQ, TT, PGTW, and Ruin as my better Perks. It was quite interesting to see how people react since you can play them pretty well.

Your the one who brought up experience, your the one who twisted BBQ provides information 80% you already know, and your the one who continues to mention it as I just reply. I wasn't offended either clearly it's starting to bother you tho so let's no longer mention it after this.

I said 80% and not experince solely based on the fact you dont need any experince to understand people want to do the objective. Which can and will be Gen, Unhook, Totems. You see a lot of these with BBQ. A person can watch a streamer and then pick up the game. With no experience they can understand basic logic.

No Im aware of the counters to bbq as well. But comparing the same scenario bbq will be better information wise. Like I said I wouldnt compare the stalling to bbq. Ofc thats a minor advantage of running TT.

You seem to compare many different things that are not the points of my disagreement. But Ill go with it. If stall is meta and you want to use pgtw the most efficient way, I would recommend discordance or surveillance. Because they are the most dependable perks in terms of which gen gets worked on.

Just for clarification, TT will have almost the same effect as bbq in gen stalling. If the survivors keep doing the gen, you will know this with bbq and TT and the stalling effect of TT wont activate. You see that the gen gets worked on with both perks. But bbq will tell you how many survs working on the gen. If they let go of the gen to avoid the effect of TT you get the 15 seconds stalling. If the survivor leaves the gen to avoid bbq he needs to find a locker or otherwise he will be seen with bbq. The time to get in the locker and the time for bbq to run out and get back to the gen can also be seen as stalling effect.

To the "experienced players" topic. I didnt say that you are inexperienced nor experienced. I didnt personally adress you. If you feel that way, then you understood my point wrong. Also its kind of funny how you tried to put me down first with that logic. "...but once you play the game enough BBQ is telling you what you already know 80% of the time". Let me use your argument against you. So you are telling me I played the game not enough? Strange because you dont know anything about my playtime. lol

Stop using snowflake tricks to make an off topic discussion. Thank you

Look dude you want to continue arguing for BBQ go for it. We obviously have different opinions on which of the 2 is better. Both have advantages and disadvantages. I personally see TT has more advantages over BBQ no matter how minor they may be.

You pointed out the stall philosophy of the perk. I just mentioned that currently the meta is in that direction. Also Surveillance is a pretty mediocre perk unlike Discordance. Anyways TT plus Surge works better simply because you net about 27% regression. Discordance is good solely to catch multiple people at a location. Both of those are situational at best. While Discordance is amazing early game Surveillance is better late game.

16 seconds not 15. You can hide behind a gen against BBQ without ever letting go and not be seen it's all about the angles. The 16 seconds of sealing on a gen is invaluable in comparison. Also all 2 people on a gen with BBQ tells you is that gen is officially lost by the time you get there.

You are the one who mentioned experience as a counterpoint. I point out BBQ is only useful in providing information you already know 80% of the time. So dont try to side track a discussion and act like I'm the one who has done it when your the one trying to twist comments to suit your own purpose.

the 4 seconds it takes you to do that you could have finished the gen more than often . you're. not clever you're toxic. if someone missed a skill check just KEEP GENNING . if not YOU'RE THE PROBLEM

Takes a few seconds for it to start back up. Plus you can literally put yourself in a slot u can auto jump back on gen with a button. It takes no actually time loss to do this.

So I watched the last stream and when I heard the part about kindred basekit I nearly felt from my chair. "it's to powerful to see a killer camping"

Like what??? That's one of the biggest issues solos have to encounter.

Swf: "Uhm, killer camps me. Don't waste time coming, keep pumping gens. One dull totem left btw, he most likely has noed"

Solo Q: "hmm, why is noone saving him? Uhhh, I really have to leave this gen and run all the way to the other side of the map and unhook him..." 30 Seconds later: "Oh, killer camps. Well, back to my gen" wasting another 30 seconds. "btw, how many dull totems are left???"

And this whole process done by every individual in the solo Q Team.

Sorry, I'm speechless at this point.

Kindred not being basekit is the same reason BBQ is not basekit. While both have advantages they are weighed out by the disadvantages.

Remember the Devs also support Camping and Tunneling as legitimate tactics despite being openly unfond of them.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/936619#Comment_936619

If you only look at stalling you are right. But comparing bbq and TT only makes sense information wise. Also if you know the killer has TT you wont be touching a gen if its not close to be finished when the killer downs a survivor. So the information is limited. They need to be at the gen for you getting the information. Thats very limited. Lets go with an example. Lets say there are 2 survivors at a gen and one survivor at another by activation. With TT you would go and check one of those gens with the information you got. With bbq you can see how many survs are at the gen. You even get the information if a surv is running away for the unhook or is hiding in the area.

"...but once you play the game enough BBQ is telling you what you already know 80% of the time." - Well that would apply to TT then as well.

I think experienced players will prefer bbq over TT in terms of information. If you go full stalling then I would preder TT.

You seem to point out the flaws in TT, but seem to forget that BBQ has flaws too. A survivor can hide in locker, your TR, and even behind a gen. Both perks bank on the survivors letting the perk be useful. Only difference is at least if everyone gets off a gen then for 16 seconds no objective can be done which has better potential than BBQ.

Since part of the meta is legit stall tactics as well that should verify TT as a stronger perk since PGTW is a huge part of the meta.

Btw I dnt mention BBQ stacks for BP simply because it does not affect game play outside of a reason to pick BBQ.

I love how you say experienced yet dont know anything about my playtime xD as far as you could know I can have anything for 20 minutes to 7k hours. Just feels kinda like your trying to put me down because either your losing the argument, dont want to continue a discussion, or you realize I'm probably right when your thinking about it.

  • @T2K said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/936581#Comment_936581

Sorry if it is off topic but I would say bbq is a better version of thrilling tremors. You only block for a short amount the gens nobody is working on. And TT has a cooldown. You only get gen information. With bbq you dont have a cooldown and get more and better information.

My view is since the primary objective is gen control and hooking. Having gens blocked for 16 seconds tells you where people are and makes it so downtime carrying survivors is not as rough. If you run PGTW you now have a specific target as well to regress.

The information BBQ provides is really good, but once you play the game enough BBQ is telling you what you already know 80% of the time.

In the end I just feel its preference. While I do like both it's mostly for different reasons. I've also run both at the same time and realized it's a little OP if you know how to exploit it.

Ya PS4 can be brutal to kill mains. I'm assuming Xbox can be the same way as PS4 since console optimization needs to be a thing.

  • @Aven_Fallen said:

Thing is, there are not many really good Perks on both sides. Killers have a little bit more variety, because they have different gameplay (e.g. some Killers use Chase Perks, while they would be completely useless on other Killers), but overall, there is a lack of good Perks in the latest Chapters.

Even there Killers have it a little bit better, because Perks like Corrupt Intervention, Thrilling Tremors, Nemesis can somewhat be used, but they are also no competition to the Metaperks.

So yeah, no surprise to see the same builds over and over again.

Thrilling Tremors is a better version of BBQ&C for information and gen blocking. It does more then BBQ&C does. It mostly comes down to BP or Gen Lock.

Roughly every killer has at least one good perk thats useful from Clown going on forward.

  • It used to start at +/- 6 and gradually expand to all ranks. If they hard capped it at that it means they made it so it searches within those ranks only.

  • @anarchy753 said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/935838#Comment_935838

It does. It's a perk designed to help the early game. You can find someone earlier, however you can still only chase one person, you still have to deal with all of the pallets in that first chase. At least 2-3 gens will still be completed in any situation that they would have before, the only difference is where they're located.

From then on, I have 4-5 gens left that are basically as spread out as possible, making patrolling them a nightmare, and giving even uncoordinated teams the easiest situation possible because just two people working on different gens wastes a lot of my time trying to keep either from being completed.

Hell, with the way spawns are going these days it's inherently a disadvantage. Most games I can just walk to the furthest gen from me and scatter at least 3 survivors off it because they all spawned together and got to work. As Plague that's 3 people instantly sick. Instead with CI they scatter around and I have 3 people on 3 gens no matter who I choose to chase which is far more efficient for them.

And I don't run Ruin, I find it unreliable and it isn't my be all and end all of comparisons for "is a perk good at stalling?"

Odd that's never been my experience with CI, but then again i mostly use it for Killer's that need set up time I.E Hag and Trapper. Where CI overpowers ruin in every way sure you might lose a gen or 2, but you'll win because the 2 minutes gave you the guaranteed time to set up.

I don't really use Ruin either. I think on some killer's it works extremely well with the kit the devs created for them though.

  • @anarchy753 said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/935752#Comment_935752

Even so, I find Plague dominates the last couple of gens. I'm not going to rely on a 2 minute perk that doesn't actually slow down gens at all when it cripples my potential for the rest of the match.

Does it really cripple the match when it gives you early game information, easier time finding survivors, and potentially able to secure the late game by forcing a 3 to 4 gen strategy?

I think your looking at like Corrupt Intervention vs Ruin. Instead of asking yourself what can CI give me over Ruin?

The thing is that's how it's supossed to be.

A extremely high reward with a extremely punishment cause remember, she can go trough the map in seconds and ignore pallets/windows...

It's not High Risk/High Reward if it's physically impossible after a failure thanks to that punishment at that point it becomes High Risk/Extreme Punishment. If the Nurse still had the possibility to regain a situation while chasing a survivor by boosting her M/S to either 100% or 105%. I don't want her overpowered again, but i wouldn't mind it if she still had the ability to do something. The biggest issue is the fact her ability is both her Movement and her primary source of attack which leaves you incredibly at a disadvantage.

  • @laurelstroodle said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/935691#Comment_935691

Well, the thing is we dont balance around fun, cause if this were the case the game would be a unbalanced mess.

She's still S tier, but I wouldn't mind if they reduced the cooldown, but the cooldown is needed cause she has just a slightly fatigue for failing.

Her power is supossed to be High risk/High Reward

Without the cooldown it would be Medium-Low risk/High reward.

Still as I mentioned I wouldn't mind them reducing the cooldown, somehow nurse is fun to play against for me (If she's not doing scummy plays, slugging or using overpowered perks)

She is not S Tier in the slightest. If you whiff a hit and a survivor has half a brain they can literally run straight and the Nurse can't catch them ever again within reason (if the map was larger i may of not been able to ever). Me and a friend tested this in a KYF on Thompson's House. Not only that how her blink is set up now with you being able to see her before blink ends any average to above average player can dodge her quite easily and don't get me started on the people who could loop a Nurse before that rework.

While i 100% agree she needed a nerf a lot of it was her addons needed the rework. Additional blinks, OmniBlink's were Overpowered and carried a lot of Bad Nurse's. How they actually nerfed her was actually went from both a viable and fun killer on both sides (depending if you enjoyed playing against and looping her). To a semi viable killer who's frustrating to play and easy to counter (provided the survivor is average to above average).

Anyone who say's she is still the best probably has yet to play any good survivors or drop the double recharge addon's. While you can be good with her in the current form because she can blink through objects that alone won't make her the best killer. Any survivor who is Hindered by there own power I.E Legion may get some kill's, but the average for kill's will never be good.

  • @PoisonN said:

The title says everything! I don't agree with the nerfs that Pig received over the years but we all need to agree that she is one of the most enjoyable killers to play. You can sneak on people very easily and her ambush attack has the most fun mind games on the game (sorry Spirit players)! Anyway, I just want to say thanks to the devs for creating this killer because she is literally the only reason that I'm still playing DBD

For these who loves Pig, try to use the perk In All Ears in your build. It's fun baiting survivors with the "roar" or defending some pallets

She's one of my mains for a reason. Sadly she received a lot of soft nerf's in the last year.

Yesterday I played on Lerys with Amandas Letter and the Survivors looked way too helpless. So I wanted to let everyone live, but nobody booped the snoot. :(

    Killed them :(

You better killer them. You came to play a game and they must makes decisions. While those decisions have consequences or rewards depending on what they want to do.

If the devs ever increase The sens on console do you think she’d be any better then now? Or do you think a controller restricts her to much? I’ve gone on and off of nurse for close to a year now and she is very frustrating to play especially with the new changes to her

She was not terrible back before the rework in fact you could get really good with her and get amazing games with her. While she was not the oppressive queen she was on PC. Nowadays she's not worth investing time into on console besides trying to get 100% with her trophies. While she may be more fun for survivors and some new killers the simple fact is Nurse is a chore to play nowadays.

Not being fun to play is a huge factor in her new kit. Slower base speed paired with the recharge speed means if a survivor can dodge the first hit they can literally run in a straight line and the killer can't catch them. A STRAIGHT LINE <------ I have yet to see another killer with a handicap that big except Legion themselves.

in this thread @Almo confirmed Nurse was worse then Legion. Let that sink in for a moment.

    Hi!

We've got enough data since the Oni release to make some comments on Legion's performance after the speed update.

For all platforms, all maps and all ranks, from Nov 2 2019 to Dec 2 2019, the Legion's average killrate was 61.99%, ranking him 12/16 in killrate. For reference, Nurse is at the bottom with 43.9% and The Nightmare is at the top with 70.83%.

In the same period but just looking at ranks 1-4, Legion is ranked 13/16 for kill rate. It's still Nurse at the bottom and Nightmare at the top.

If I switch to all platforms, all maps and all ranks from Dec 3 to Dec 19 (The Oni released on Dec 3), Legion's killrate is 62.5%, but that ranks them at 10/17 for killrate.

Just looking at ranks 1-4, the killrate is 71.2%, ranked at 12/17.

These are not massive changes, but they are noticable in a statistical sense given the sample size in terms of number of games played. We can conclude that the Deep Wound change (running stops the timer instead of TR) combined with the speed change (restored vault speeds and 5.0 m/s -> 5.2 m/s Frenzy run speed) were a net buff to Legion, both in terms of raw kill efficiency and in relation to the other Killers.

Anyone who tells you she is fine currently. Either has yet to truly experiment with her, Runs exclusively 2 addons for recharge rate, or has yet to play against average to above average Survivors who knew how to play against Nurse before the rework.

EDIT: Also while they intended to rework addons most of them are a joke. Meme Addons, BP addons that make you worse, and her teachables as addons.

TLDR: Don't waste your time with current Nurse shes a chore to play.

I don't feel correctly had to pay to complete all the achievements

and i can't get with "gems" license characters.... so that

what if when u use a killer splinter let u play the match with his techeables, also there should be the same offering on survivors bloodweb but making u be the survivor from that dlc

well i don't like your reasoning is because you didn't want to pay for the adept. I do agree you should have the 3 teachables based on the fact your trying to see if you like the killer or perks that come with said killer to buy them. If i didn't get all my DLC on sale when i first started and instead tested a Splinter to realize that i get no perks i would of been upset. While it wont bother me nowadays because I'm confident in my skills back then was another story.

I do not happen to believe we should have survivor splinters though. The main difference is survivors are effectively skins while Killers are unique even if they have similar powers.

I'd focus on the killer and perks that i want and only unlock them 1st before focusing on my mains.

I created a subaccount on ps4 over the summer to do this exact thing. The grind is more enjoyable with less useless or garbage perks.

on ps4 i leveled everyone around my mains. so far on pc i leveled hag first because im not 100% comfy with M&K since i quit pc around the time dedicated servers popped up.

I never use either of those perks but I do know that Infectious Fright is pretty solid on killers who can either end chases quickly (Nurse/Billy) or killers with instadowns (Billy/Myers/Plague if survivors don’t cleanse). I’ve seen players make good use of it.

Corrupt Intervention is good for early game and can help apply some pressure. I don’t personally like it but again...players have made good use of it.

I basically leveled Trapper and got Infectious Fright, Corrupt Intervention, and Save the Best for Last on him for PS4 and the build dominated. I never could find a good fourth perk with my limited 50 levels of perks.

  • @Peanits said:

I'd probably go for BBQ right away, get the perks I need for Huntress, then focus on survivor perks (mostly Head On). Most of the perks I use on my Huntress are available right away, so I wouldn't really need to get the teachables immediately.

Curious what your build is honestly.

    @anarchy753 said:

I would fix the mistake I made and not go for all teachables. It'd cut the bloodwebs needed to make a decent or fun build in half or more to not have the heap of garbage that can show up.

Seriously, can you imagine a world where Up the Ante wouldn't waste bloodwebs, or Beast of Prey, or everything from plague's perks onwards as killer?

I would agree except I generally dont mind the teachables. I like variety with random builds.

    @twistedmonkey said:

Concentrate on Leatherface for BBQ and David for WGLF and get a decent build with them.

Then I would feed points into the ones I wish to main until I got those perks and a decent build then id start to play them and slowly feed points into the other characters for the teachables I want.

I wouldn't prestige anyone until I had all my chars with a build I like that means I could play whoever I wished. Then save up points and prestige my mains one at a time just because I can.

    Thanks

Thanks for your help and suggestions.

why is leatherface in this game? I bought him on a whim because he was on sale, and holy ######### this killer is literally the worst one in the game. I now understand why every leatherface ever facecamps, because that's all this ######### killer has for him.

He still gets looped like an m1 killer, and his ability might be more useless than legions, yea sure its an instadown, but good luck actually getting it off. Leatherface at his base is literally an m1 killer with an instadown you will never hit. and you're so slow with his chainsaw, from revving it up to executing it, this entire process feels like getting your teeth pulled out. and not only that but its useless to do unless the survivor is walking in a straight line with no corners or walls in sight. and any good survivor will never have themselves be in those types of situations. and also he is so easily juked, sure you can turn pretty fast with it but it's too late, if you've been juked you are already losing in that chase. please for the love of god get rid of leatherface or buff him hes so ######### bad.

Run on leather face, a charge speed addon and a beast Mark's addons I cant remember what the yellow one is called.

After that run PWYF and Corrupt Intervention with Discordance. 4th perk is random, but PGTW is great. This takes LF from bottom to above average. PWYF is so great on him that not running is like intentionally handicapping yourself.

Any chance you'll ever consider reducing the penalty in FF misses to instead reflect X power duration is lost? I noticed on console's a random dip in FPS really screws up Legion when in FF on occasion.

So BHVR removes the ability for solo survivors to see the ranks of who they are playing with to prevent lobby dodging.

So so let’s make it fair. Killers can no longer see survivors while in lobby. Why? Because lots of killers out there will lobby dodge if they see the same group of toxic survivors.

Or they might lobby dodge if they see the following:

    4 toolboxes

    4 blendettes with flashlights

1 key, a map and tool boxes together

multiple survivors with the same clan tag

this lobby dodging increases the wait time for everyone and should be remedied ASAP!

But seriously, just let us see the ranks again, or prevent killers from seeing the fact that me and my friends brought 3 keys. They may use that as an excuse to lobby dodge.

plz BHVR lemme see the ranks again.

Ranks was nice, but what you propose screws with some killers.

I don’t get it. Not everyone has the skill to loop, so why is it bad that a survivor tries their best to stay out of the killers LOS? I mean, as long as they’re doing objectives like working on generators or cleansing totems? Heck, I spend plenty of matches having to traverse the maps to unhook people because people keep getting caught and no one else is trying to save them.

Don’t get me started on the impatient survivors who wiggle their arms at me trying to make me hurry. I’m sorry, I don’t have BT, so I don’t want to unhook you and let the killer farm. Especially when I could still see him or Spinechill is still lit up! You even have survivors who demand I heal them at the hook that I just unhooked them from. Seriously, would it kill you to sneak away to a safer location for me to heal you. Do you live chases so much that you want to leave scratch marks that lead to me healing you? Even when it’s obvious that the killer will come back (Spirit, Hillbilly, Invisible Chicken Legs) they still insist I stay exposed for their sake.

Even the devs seem to not promote it since I could play perfectly and accomplish more goals than anyone else in the match and yet have less blood points because I didn’t get in a chase or hit the killer with every pallet on the map! (After playing killer for a bit, I kinda feel bad to use pallets or blind, I know I shouldn’t, but I do).

More equality for the Bush People please! We deserve respect! We also deserve all the butt rubs you can give!

Thank you for taking the time to read this rant, have a blessed day!

P.S. Devs, I would also like a bush costume like Fortnite provides. It will complete my ascension to full Bushette status.

Long story short. You always get the one who is immersive when they dont need to be. Killers gone but they urban up to you or you watch them urban around while on the hook. Seriously is obnoxious.

Stealth with a purpose not just to stealth.

    Title

While many suggest cross hairs I dont, but it's a either or situation. Shadowborne is nice same with Monitor and Abuse, but the FoV can really mess with your depth perception if you take it off and throw hatchets.

Remember to mix up pallets occasionally throw and sometimes just M1 right through. Keep them guessing. Get good at melee and midrange hatchets. If you get good at melee hatchets you can almost immediately put someone into the dying state.

You'll miss a lot at first and even hit random things that make no sense or even hit things that u should clearly be able to hit over or through or around. Hatchets are a bit wonky, but extremely rewarding.

Practice throwing hatchets with BBQ or in KYF. It helps significantly. Also remember every time you down someone its nice to reload if possible before hooking so you dont waste the BBQ aura reloading.

If you run out of hatchets mid chase consider the chase over and go reload. Hatchets add a mind game if they know you are out you've become a 110 m/s killer.

Dont use addons that affect the moment speed, cool down, and wind up until your used to them. Never ever use the addon for locker auras for hatchets. Literally the most annoying thing I have seen.

you're missing the point. A crosshair offers a distinct advantage. Newer players definitely benefit, but so do the Rank 1 huntress mains. No one is arguing that.

The devs have designed the hitboxes, around NOT using crosshairs, when in reality, a significant number of players do. For the devs to think people wouldnt use every advantage available to them, was likely do to a big ego in the game director department. Yes, in a perfect world everyone is honest and noone would do something to get an unfair advantage. Unfortuantely this is NOT that world, no matter how much a dev or game director wants it to be.

I think I get you now. Your more of the IDC may as well add it while I'm more like IDC avoid it.

I see what you mean tho. I just personally think people need to grow up instead of having the Devs hold there hands.

I actually am cool. I play on both playstation and on PC. I just think it's a joke people actually cry for a cross hair on a game that does not need one.

So your saying your fellow gamers should "get a better monitor" or "install a program" to do what is natively done in the game engine on which this game is based?

I couldn't care less about it being fair or not in this discussion. It's the fact that they left it out and programmed the game's hitboxes etc around NOT having one, when there was absolutely NOTHING they could do to stop people from just putting a little DOT on their monitor, turning it on on the monitor itself, or using another app.

You sir, are the ideal customer for a company like BHVR and why game developers get away with pretty much anything they want. So yeah, welcome to 2019 bud.

No I could care less actually just that its pathetic to really want one. This game is not a combat shooter or even one that needs something similar to a cross hair. Literally I rarely ever see these complaints except by newer people to Huntress. Funny they want one for her, but not Plague.

Those are options not a requirement. It's fine though because at the end of the day I highly doubt unless you do a 3rd party thing you'll ever see one. The Devs really want to keep the game as immersive as possible. At least for newer players and a hub overlay like that would definitely ruin it.

I'm pretty far from the ideal customer. I dont buy cosmetics enough to he considered a priority nor does everything they do make me happy I quite often complain.

    Menu ---> Options ---> X Enable/Disable Crosshair.

And btw, welcome to 1991 basic game menu options

More like just install the program or get a better monitor that has the option. DBD dont need to HD your hand. Neither is it a FPS game like CoD.

Welcome to 2019 where games like Dark Souls tell you to git gud n00b. We shouldn't have to hold your hand like a Mario game.
