Thought about it but 3 man running OoO I decided to risk DS to atleast gain something from it towards endgame. The situation itself isn't anything special. I can eat the DS no problem I just wanted to question if it was a fair play move to hook Laurie again after I knew she wasted her DS. By survivor rule book it would be tunneling but in general sense I question if it is considered okay.
Not really I think DS should be deactivated when another person is unhooked or hooked personally. Only one person needs it at a time. Its supposed to be a Anti Tunnel Perk not a Get out of Jail free card.

I had a game where I hooked Laurie. After hooking her I went away and saw Dwight nearby so I chased him and downed him. After downing him I picked him up and Laurie got saved in said moment. I went on to hook Dwight and go back to the hook where Laurie was (I thought they would probably be healing and I was right) I chased the healer away cause that Claudette ran at me and at the same time I looked at hook where Dwight was if Laurie would rush to save him, and she was going for him. So I decided to drop the chase with Claudette to interrupt an easy save. I downed Laurie after she saved Dwight and decided to pick her up and got hit with DS.
I thought like okay I kinda didn't want to slug her which would mean I wouldn't gain anything from the trade, so I risked that DS (Because it would atleast be out of endgame afterwards). I let her go after DS and went to find someone else.
Later on I found Laurie again chased her and hooked her. After hooking I went to kick a nearby gen and saw Claudette going for the save and went back to the hook. Claudette saved her and I counted possible BT timer in my mind and then downed Laurie again and hooked her mainly because she abused her DS earlier.
Now I know this is considered tunneling but I'm asking opinions if this is fair. I never go after the unhooked one in said situations but I decided to do so because she abused her DS to take momentum away from me (antitunnel perk and I already found someone else). In my opinion it was a fair move because she abused DS and I knew she wouldn't have DS. She even messaged me after game that "noob tunneler". In my opinion I did nothing wrong, but what is the common opinion in these situations? Is this noob tunneling or fair move to pull off?
Slug in that situation.

Yup, just had hope after their redo of Lvl 3 that they'd learned something from the feedback. Go figure. Swing and a miss.
When do they ever really learn? I mean they readied bug sounds. A game that literally needs sound, but they have no mention of it being worked on.

tbh if they want to ruin other people games, they can do it either way, the problem for me, is that when someone dc i dont get points for emblem, as if i camped that person so they couldnt be got off hook, they should change that, also surv should also get some points to emblems for that, since if they think, that its ok to just give 600 points to altruism for a dc, well, they are wrong
They get a abandonment score. I saw it a few weeks ago when random DC. I dont know much about it tho.

Pretty. Good. Job. So. Far.
Guess I'll just grind through the rest and look up the lore on YouTube like a normal person.
Did they not get the hundred or so memos we left en mass that stated many of those "complete in a single trial" challenges are beyond mental and need heavy reevaluating? Sure, a small handful of folks here appear to like them, but the mass majority here have overwhelmingly given negative feedback regarding them. C'mon, devs. Seriously.
Just a curious question. Didnt you see it spoiled when tome 1 came out?

Only started playing killer about 4 months ago. I don't really like playing killer as I rather save people off the hook than put them on it, but I wanted to get into the mind of a killer to become a better survivor. As a killer that doesn't really care about killing I focus on learning mindgames and survivor thinking patterns. I also wanted to know the capabilities and weakness of every killer. It wasn't until I started playing hag that I really understood her add-ons and their potential.
Trapper is also good for this. I heard Freddy was as well I didn't test him tho.

No Mither is too strong! It counters so many things!
-Trapper traps don't take off a health state without the purple stone
-Hillbilly chainsaw only does one health state
-Iridescent Head only does one health state
-Leatherface's chainsaw only does one health state
-The Plague's vile purge is useless
-No Mither prevents baby Claudettes from wasting time healing you against The Legion
-The Oni's demon strike only does one health state
-The exposed status effect is pointless, which weakens or nullifies Myers, Ghostface, Redhead's Pinky Finger, NOED, Make Your Choice, Devour Hope, Iron Maiden, and probably a ton of other things I'm forgetting
Basically, in its current form, No Mither counters half of killers and their perks. I suggest the devs find some way to nerf No Mither and get rid of these grossly powerful and presumably unintended benefits by making you not be injured the entire game or something like that.
It's also able to help gen rushing.

I ran a slowdown build on Nurse. Ruin, Thanataphobia, and Pop. Without a single toolbox or gen speed perk, they had the exit gates open in 6:25. Brand new part, toolboxes, and prove thyself would have had that easily under 5 minutes.

Like the "rank 19" survivor I played last night that had 1200 hours in the game?
It happens sometimes survivors get a good RNG. Also that's a pretty bad build for Nurse.

I started out playing Feng because I thought she was cute. I was scared as all get it. I got off the gen every time I heard the killer terror radius. I wish I could remember my first killer. I think it was the trapper. I remember it would take a few minutes for my heart rate to go down at the start of the match. Not to mention I, along with all the other rank 20s, blew the h*ll out of the gens.
I was that Feng as well. Killer in was better at though it took me awhile to start going against good survivors say rank 15ish. Than I was destroyed got on the Ruin train. Few months later relearned killed without Ruin.

Yes, but with the killer wait times and the clear rank differences, it shows fewer killers are playing the game, and I put blame for that 100% on BHVR. Killers haven't been buffed in a good long time, and it really doesn't help that the devs here basically respond with "git gud" when killers point out obvious flaws.
Most killers also refuse to adapt to new metas. They adjust slowly if at all. While the Ruin meta has turned honestly into a wasted slot. Many still argue for it. While many survivors have no issues with it even at green ranks.

explain to me why they should be taken with a grain of salt other than being told to do so? how have i used the stats out of context or what contortions have i made? dismissing data outright because you were told by the devs as they dont want to explain is foolish, i unless you have reasons to adduce otherwise, i will interpret them at face value.
Because the Devs themselves have mentioned take it with a grain of salt. Someone had even quoted it before. I'm curious why they would release the stats while saying take it with a grain of salt. I just dismissed the whole chart afterwards.
I also know I as survivor I get more then 25% escapes.

Wish you could read. I allready told, i don't have to sacrifice any survivor. And on the other hand, it's me that stands almost no chance against red / purple, but because i am only killer, that's ok or? Just git gut and play 2000 hours.
I can read and my opinion stands that it's a scummy tactic. You dont need 2000 hours to be good at killer. It definitely helps, but not a requirement. The same goes for survivors just because they are red and purple ranks wont mean they are good. All the game ask is you understand the basics and then learn from that. Trust me you need to learn.

Killers also have a harder time overall to earn BP it's just they get a superior amount and rightfully so. They dont get points sitting on the gen doing nothing. Also I dont know where you get the stats, but even the ones released by the Devs recently were mentioned to take with a grain of salt.

There are still at least five Killers needing buffs or even reworks.
Clown, Doctor, Pig, Myers, Bubba.
Are devs gonna spend the whole 2020 to buff these Killers? Devs can buff them quickly, but they just don’t wanna do this.
Honestly one free DlC could be used to remake these killers and fix bugs, but they prefer profit over balance.

The failure in your argument is that corrupt intervention exists and hiding for 2 mins is doing the killer a favor, having a guaranteed 2 mins of Ruin vs having it destroyed right away is worth it for the killer.
If this was the case I would just run CI over Ruin. Not like I use Ruin much anymore I prefer CI anyways. Better results.

If even a Huntress main like ScottJund aka damnnohtml is using a crosshair (he openly says he is using it) why shouldn't it be default for beginners? Imo we need a crosshair (entity style) for everyone, toggleable so everyone can turn it on or off as he desires.
It's very beginner unfriendly without it
Because we should learn the play the game. If someone wants to use a monitor function for that or a program. That's a choice they can and have the right to make. We are not a COD style game so we shouldn't have to use it.
Also I play Huntress without it.

I would prefer cross save honestly. Let's people move from console to PC or visa versa. This increases the profit for behaviour because people need to repurchase the DLC for the platform they move too.
Increased funds helps the game.

No one aside from the devs can answer that, and you probably won't get anything more from them than "we're thinking about it". Generally, these sorts of things get officially announced when they're about to be introduced and not before.
Having said that, the subject was broached in the most recent Player Satisfaction Survey, so at the very least they are "thinking about it".
More importantly cross save <3

the meta is like 4 killers and the rest are just varying shades of Z tier with hilarious issues. Like who would play clown other than a bunch of twitch streamers trying to play meme games to be funny. And they hammer down any of the tall standing killers because putting them inline with the Z tier killers is for some reason their goal. The high ranking meta is probably the same 4 killers over and over with the same perk combos and it's probably boring. Why not rework legion so his ability isn't just "boy with knife who run fast" and myers not having his stalk be a resource or active Evil within manually instead of edging it to 99 theres tons of options it's just nerfing is quicker and easier.
I bet ghostface will catch some nasty nerfs soonish and the meta will be like 2 and a half (cause myers will probably get nerfed to)
Ghostface is meta at high ranks? I never see him outside purple ranks except on a rare occasion. I see more Clowns at red rank then Ghostface.
I see quite a bit of variety at red rank anymore. Billy isn't as great due to the influx of indoor maps. Rarely see him.

Feng Min just because she has good design based on lore, aesthetics, cosmetics, and appels to my eyes. She also is the only survivor I put any time into so she's P3 all perks.

Addons with downsides are the best kind of addons.
Remember, ideally addons will be completely unneeded, and there is a limit to how strong a Killer can be before it becomes problematic, regardless of the rarity. Prayer beads, iridescent hatchet and Mori's are great examples of this gone wrong.
So for a Killer to have super strong addons and be balanced their basekit needs to be weaker, however we don't want this. So it's much better for the Killer to instead have weak addons and thus their basekit can afford to be stronger.
I still dont know how I feel about Iridescent Head's. On one hand I don't mind a skilled Huntress with them. While in the other I hate trash Huntress who obviously need them.
I remember a Huntress that had everyone fooled all game when she would M1 then Hatchet until the end. At the end 3 people came in for the BT hook save and she downed them all near instantly. I couldn't stop laughing.

and the thing i have with moris is i have no heads up for it as well (even though it’s super OP). if i had a heads up that the killer had a strong addon/offering (assuming that the devs made it to where you couldn’t dodge), then i could prepare and put on powerful counters. because it’s not fair if i have a brown toolbox against a ebony mori while being solo
Honestly you have some time to mentally prepare by looking during the offering reveal. After that it's time to hope the killer is bad or your speciality. Honestly it feels bad on both sides.

"Pretty much means" - what ranks are you playing at? What killers are you playing against? I've been mori'd once in the last month, by a Pig, and she hardly tunneled. Hell, when I see a mori, I WANT that. I want to be mori'd. Being mori'd is fun. Apparently fun is something you're not looking for in a *video game*. Please stop trying to ruin the fun for the casual ones, aka the ones the game is designed for.
I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say the arguments here are, if not manufactured completely, 100% exaggerated.
I've been mori'ed at least once each day this month. I played at red rank all last season and am still rank 5 after reset because I didnt play much survivor outside of the daily experience and dailies since reset.
While I view Keys = Mori while fundamentally different things and function differently. The idea between them remains the same. Deprive the other side of something by using a incredibly powerful tool. They both require minimal effort into doing the objective.

That's because more people rather play survivor than killer. You get so much harrasement as a killer, and only limited harrasement as a survivor. Play 4 man swf and there isn't any, you just get to multiple the harrasement of the killer.
I rarely get harrassment as killer usually its just the odd overly altruistic person who DC because as they go back to the hook to save and I intercept them or I outplay them. They proceeded to accuse me of either cheating or lag. Than again my idea of hatemail is kinda lax after a decade of dark souls.

Ultimately, you will rank up with killer when you play against potatoes. That is bad. You can play funny builds and still manage to get a good amount of bloodpoints out of it, not even a single sacrifice is needed. Just remove the 6 rank rule, so you won't play as green vs. purple / red. I don't want that, it's not fun, thank you.
Because Deranking is a scummy tactic. Your basically going against weaker then your current opponent as deemed by the games in built rank settings. Deranking actually hurts people because while you do It to have fun the chances are the people you play against will be unlikely to ever stand a chance.
Also i love being green rank and dominating against purple and red ranks. They always find a excuse. Always blame something my favorite is lag. I had a friend with his username as Lag on ps4. I send him a lot of hatemail for clearly ruining my game.

Ive noticed how the devs have the logic of nerfing killers and aspects of the game that don’t need a nerf, but have refused to nerf ebony mori, the strongest most overpowered aspect of this game.
seriously.
think about this:
-a game can basically end in 5 minutes with mori, incomparable to a key which requires generators to be progressed through (with ruin most of the time)
-this offering, which is hated by the majority of the community, has been ignored. Why? No clue. the Devs must have their ears plugged.
Just please change it! it’s getting on my last nerve, especially during rank reset where killers find the need to have it every match.
You know a key is effectively the same thing right? They Eliminate a huge part of the game and skip most of the objectives minus a bit. Sounds exactly like a mori as well. The only difference is while one can be found in game or brought in the other is a offering.
Not only that both a key and a mori limit what the other side can do and can make the game play out completely different.

Your suggestion is literally more oppressive than OP's. 😂 Startup time, built in base regression and and double overall regression speed. PGTW is already overturned for gen locking at the end of the game.
Not really I thought about it a lot. Only problem is to type it out I would need to get on my computer as stating like I did sounds bad, but listing the whole idea is a lot better. Plus I would need to gather info from wiki and various source's as to why I decided to double regression speed. Mostly my idea at base is to create a level of which the generator wont be much affected if the killers bad, but at the same time still not he oppressive to a survivor whose rank 20. Whe really only affecting higher rank play where people who like to loop leave a gen alone or try and tap it mid chase.

I'm gonna hope they fix the sound bug for killers in the upcoming hotfix, that might get more people to play killer again. I do get that top tier killers have receieved some small nerfs, but it's really not that bad. I don't see how Spirit or Nurse are not viable anymore. I do understand that Nurse isn't fun to play as though, which hopefully will be looked at in the future, and that Spirit can't really hear any footsteps of running survivors at the moment.
Oni will also get some of his flick back again in the next hotifx, which I hope will be here soon. I do think the devs need to look at the weaker killers from now on and try to buff those.
Last time it took them almost a year to fix sound issues. My hope's are below the floorboards in expectations for that.
