@PhantomMask20763 I've been playing at least a couple matches a night. Except for tonight. Tonight I might visit Overwatch for a match or two. Not sure, though, since I walked away from it back in Feb.
-
@I'd also sent a link to your Wall (just click your forum name in the upper right corner of the forums to go to it) with a direct invite link to me.
But, I just clicked your link.
-
@PhantomMask20763 Yeah, I have to admit: I just recently returned to the game. And with the state it's in, after only a couple of weeks of return-playing, I have to really dredge up the motivation to click the PLAY button in Steam.
-
@Detective_Jonathan I was being facetious. I assumed you were, as a DbD player.
But yeah, Ash would kick Legion's ass. Legion is the killer. In the genre, the Killer always gets his ass kicked in the end.
-
@MystiKasT Crap. I forgot I also had an old Steam account with the same name. I need to figure out how to delete that.
The Kilmeran you're looking for actually has a custom avatar icon. If you can't find it, and if your Steam name is the same as your forum name, I can always just send you the request.
-
@Carpemortum Except some of us have no solid reason to record our gameplay, never have, and don't want OBS on our computers just in the off-chance we get someone holding the game hostage.
Hopefully, such a requirement will change when dedicated servers come and they can more effectively go back over all match data.
-
@MystiKasT Look, if money is that tight, which I can understand, I was there a long time ago in my youth, just friend me on Steam temporarily (same name). I'll gift you the DLC.
-
@MystiKasT Just a heads up, the DLCs very rarely ever go 50%. Usually they drop to the sale price they are now, while the base game goes 50% off.
As for the Shrine, BBQ has only appeared in the Shrine a single time since Leatherface was released. So, if you wait for the shrine, you may never get it.
-
@PhantomMask20763 That was why I specifically stated "purchasable DLCs," since Bill was free. :)
-
@MystiKasT Just Leatherface. No survivor.
Just as the Ash DLC that just dropped was Ash only, nothing else.
They're the only two that are that way. All other purchasable DLCs have both Killer and Survivor.
-
@MystiKasT There is a sale going on right now.
-
@SmokePotion It was in their faces in Fall 2018 when the program was first announced, and those in question were in the initial wave that was invited by Behavior to pilot it. We brought it up here. Some of them made their first forum posts to swoop in and start a forum war.
And seven months later, the program is in full swing and those Streamers are still a core part of it.
Those particular Streamers were purposefully de-ranking, encouraging attacks against opposing players, and all the same crap even before they were invited into the initial program. And they were still invited by Behavior. Behavior was made aware. Nothing happened then, and it won't happen now.
-
@Detective_Jonathan In any of the Killers' worlds, they would all get their asses kicked in the end. Or, have you not seen enough of the slasher genre? The only ones that really don't are the Sawyer family, since not many victims survive those films. But let's be honest, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre series is mediocre at best, and most are boring as all hell, even as far as the slasher genre goes.
-
@Detective_Jonathan Eh. The backstory for Legion doesn't bother me. They're nothing more than the main characters from films like Heathers and a few others from the late 80s and early 90s turned into a "slasher killer cult." Like most of the killers in DbD, they're a cliche as well by this point in time. None of the killers are particularly creative in story or avoid being a cliche of the genre.
As far as playing Legion, they might actually become my main. I like the speed, I like the play. I like the pallet and window vaulting. Compared to other killers, their speed reminds me a bit of Lucio compared to other Heroes in Overwatch. And Lucio was a main of mine with a lot of hours on him.
If survivors out there want to keep DCing against Legion, I say let them. If they end up facing enough Legions, they'll either have to accept it and play, or risk hitting the threshold and getting banned. And once dedicated servers hit and DCs are better tracked, well . . . .
Either way, I'll still get to keep on playing.
All PvP games with characters and kits have annoying ones to face that make you want to punch your monitor. Christ, I feel that way about Brigitte, Doomfist, and Mei in Overwatch. Or Lian, Dredge, and Buck in Paladins. Or an Edgemaster Sword Warrior in Realm Royale. Or a broken hitbox Wraith armed with a Wingman and Peacekeeper in Apex Legends.
You suck it up, you play the match.

I am okay with Freddy as he is right now as I am Legion, happy with both of them, they are underestimated. They just require different play than usual M1 killers.
@ShrekIsHot I agree. That's actually why I like them.
-
@PhantomMask20763 Yeah, I like Freddy a lot as well.
-
I love playing Legion. I just like the feel of him in play and find him a ton of fun. I don't care about 4ks or Pips or any of that. The only thing I play for is bloodpoints. And although I don't main any one killer just yet, Legion might very well change that.
@Shad03 Claudette mains are on the list? Got it. On it. We are Legion!

@PhantomMask20763 I love playing Legion. Not because of any "easy kills" or "salty survivors" or any of that juvenile crap. I just like the feel of him in play. I find him a lot of fun. I don't main any one killer yet, but Legion is at the top of the list as a possibility.

That is fairly accurate. He's done it many times in the past. So, sorry OP, but Tyde's opinion doesn't hold much weight with me either. I'm going to pass on watching the video.

Can you link me all 100 threads? I'm curious since I'll like to improve my idea while giving them credit, ya know?
Just kidding but ideally they can implement this until after dedicated servers are released and when they fix major bugs.
@Detective_Jonathan Except they won't. CM's already stated that nothing more is being done about DCs, and no changes to the current threshold system, until after the dedicated servers go live.
So, we still have months of this bullshit yet to deal with, because aren't dedicated servers slated for late summer? That typically means an August or September time frame, unless they are redefining what late summer means into something earlier.
-
@Cymer Just keep in mind that financial transparency is not always legally viable except in prescribed situations.
Let me explain. For a privately owned company like Behavior, the decision is entirely their own. But for a publicly traded company, like say Activision-Blizzard, it isn't. That's why their quarterly financial reports will talk about individual games, while also providing an overview of the company's financials as a whole.
The reason being, disclosing the information in the wrong segments, so to speak, can get you into a ton of hot water with the SEC for violations.
For smaller companies that are privately owned like Behavior, one probably wouldn't want to publicly disclose the information because that also makes it accessible to their competitors. And depending on the size and resources of a competitor, Behavior might have a lot less resources to go against them in the same market and maneuver their own position. So, you really don't want them knowing if you or your game are suffering financially. And you can't just release the information when you're doing well, because then any future silences would be the same as stating that you're in financial trouble.
So, while we as consumers might feel transparency is crucial, from a company standpoint it could be suicidal, even if doing well, because it gives your competitors information you wouldn't want them to possess.

Can’t relate, I won’t take my anger out on every Claudette just because a Claudette looped me. There’s a lot of Claudette’s. It’s the gamer tag that gets me fired up. That’s when it’s time to go.
@DarkWo1f997 That's my point. The two of us cannot relate to how the other gets their catharsis for in-game tilting. And I think we both know we aren't the only two in existence this way.
Which brings us back to my original comment: This would do very little to actually combat toxicity. Toxicity will still exist, and people will find a way. They'll simply adjust the method, but not the end result. Trying to combat toxicity is trying to combat a part of human nature. You can't. You can only force it to seek and find new in-game methods to deploy it. And people will do just that.
I've been playing online games for 20 years, and PvP gaming for at least 15 of those years. There have been grand ideas after grand ideas to finally beat or reduce toxicity. And obviously, none have worked. It isn't going to be beaten or even hindered. The best that happens is the truly bad apples get banned from particular games at some point. But there are always others to take their place.
-
@RockRage8962 Well, there are currently some very serious problems within Dead by Daylight. Whether or not it qualifies as a "Dark Time" will depend on your personal cosmology.
The main issue is: We don't know what player count and DLC units sold threshold Behavior has for Dead by Daylight. What we, as players, consider a "Dark Time" might actually still have DbD falling well within Behavior's numbers and revenue parameters. In other words, we view the game as declining, in potential danger, but on the financial end for Behavior, they could very well still be turning a profit that falls within where they want it to be. Revenue and profit requirements are never a fixed amount, but always a range of between X and Z.
Or, what we as players see could be accurate and Dead by Daylight isn't turning enough of a profit right now.
The problem is, since such information is never disclosed to a consumer base, we just don't know. So, we have to take what we perceive the situation to be, and decide to invest the play time and DLC money into the game, or not.
The danger lies in the fact that if enough players lose faith in the profitability and continued financial support of a game from a Studio, and go to another game or withhold their purchases because they no longer feel that the game has a long-term future, then the demise of a game could be a self-fulfilling prophecy. It has happened before with games.
-
@MystiKasT One way you can get a feel for 32 meters is if you have another person to go into KYF with. In that case, if you go to the boundary walls that surround the outer portions of the map, the distance from one center post to the next center post is 8 meters. Have your buddy stand at one post, and go down four sections for 32 meters. That should give you a visual idea, and you can practice it in play to get better at it over time.
It will take time to get a reflexive feel for it in actual matches. I'm still working on it, myself.
-
I don't main any. I just play whichever of the 13 killers I feel like playing that match.
Wait. Thirteen killers? Yeah. I can't play Nurse or Hag. Nurse affects me like Tracer does in Overwatch. The sudden movement of her blinks makes me nauseous and gives me a headache fairly quickly. Ditto for Hag and the teleports.
-
@Nickenzie Unfortunately, I have to vote against this as long as we're operating on a peer-to-peer system, and also as long as this game is so damned bug ridden.
If Behavior could actually manage to iron out even half of the bugs, and if their dedicated servers and netcode don't turn out to be hot garbage, then I would agree with such DC ban changes.
As far as my dedicated server requirement above, having dedicated servers on its own isn't good enough. They need to be stable servers with good netcode, or it amounts to nothing. And trust me, I have played in enough online games that used dedicated servers that were unstable and basically garbage. Paladins from Hi-Rez comes to mind, as does Apex Legends from Respawn, just for two quick examples.
And given Behavior's track record so far, I'm not yet ready to place bets on the quality of their upcoming dedicate servers, and I'm especially not yet ready to place bets on the quality of their netcode.
-
If you mean justified as far something like not counting toward the ban threshold, then I have to say: No.
Unfortunately, there is no way to confirm that any player has a legitimate case of Coulrophobia, and anyone could claim such to avoid a DC ban.
Other than that situation, it really doesn't matter. People are going to DC for whatever reasons.
-
I have to agree with @Carpemortum on this one. Regardless of his reasoning, regardless of how vocal he may or may not have been about DC'ing in the past, he is now exploiting the system for his own benefit: faster queues.
On top of that, he is a top rank player who will de-rank into brackets against far lesser skilled opponents, thereby again abusing the system as this will directly benefit him even more. He'll do extremely well against these opponents, earn even larger bloodpoint pools as a result, and be able to obtain even more items off his bloodwebs than he might have against equally skilled opponents.
Whether or not facing lesser skilled opponents is part of his motivation (and it doesn't seem to be) is irrelevant. That is the exact result of his choice to de-rank.
As a top streamer for this game, and as a Fog Whisperer with the ear of Behavior to boot, what he should have done was stop streaming DbD and stream another game until Behavior sees fit to fix the serious problem they've created through their own poor decisions and implementations of an emblem scoring change.
Behavior made this mess. This mess is still festering and growing. All they can say is "eventually." So, the professional thing for him to do would have been to stop marketing the game for them until they fix the problem. Especially since Behavior's conscious decision to change the Emblem scoring system and allow this extremely flawed system to remain in place (when they've reverted matchmaking back and forth several times already), has also affected his business, because a 30-minute queue prevents him from playing a game and entertaining his viewers.
He's a popular streamer. His viewers are there for him for the most part. They will still support him while he streams another game until Behavior makes DbD playable for him again in the proper manner.
-
I have match chat between the two opposing teams permanently closed. I do the same in Overwatch, too. I see very little point in using it in any PvP game. I honestly can't fathom why anyone would willingly keep it open. PvP games breed toxicity and always have.
I never get the toxicity, because I disable the only way it can be given. At least on PC platform.
But yeah, you need to send all that to Behavior. That player will likely get a perma-ban.
-
Never mind.
-
@DarkWo1f997 Except you're wrong, it isn't dampened. For example, I will have a player that manages to tilt me in Overwatch. For the record, I don't get titled in video games easily, but it does happen. Now, let's say he was playing Soldier 76.
Next match, he isn't on the enemy team anymore. But someone else is playing Soldier 76 anyway. I will vent my irritation against that poor Soldier 76 player. And it's just as cathartic.
Same applies here. The next player to have the same survivor that tilted me gets the revenge. And yes, for me it is just as cathartic.
-
@DarkWo1f997 So, ok. What's to stop me from just taking my irritation out on the next group of survivors I get matched against? Taking away names is not going to change the fact that if I choose to, I'm still going to vent my irritation. It just means that the next four players, who might have had zero to do with what happened in the first place, but now I won't know because I can't see who is who, get the brunt of my venting in play.
You're not combating the toxicity. You're just helping it to spread randomly. You can't beat toxicity because humans are humans, it's a simple fact. Hell, even Blizzard has been trying every trick they can think of to combat toxicity in Overwatch for almost a year now. And they've failed at every turn. You're not going to beat toxicity anymore than you're going to remove evil and suffering from the world. It's a great high-concept to wish to strive for, but it's building castles in the air.
-
@brokedownpalace You really aren't kidding. Having spent so much time at the forums before actually playing the game, to get a feel for this part of the community, is honestly why I decided to be a killer main. I am not exaggerating when I say that too many of the survivor mains here completely turned me off of playing survivor. If they are representative of any teammates I would have in a match, I've no interest in playing that side of the game.
-
@NoShinyPony That is true. But gee, whatever will be do now about camping? I mean, this opinion matters so much in my enjoyment of Dead by Daylight.
-
I just love that random internet person makes a thread like killers will suddenly go: Oh no! A random, faceless internet person thinks I'm a bad killer if I camp. Holy hell! I have to stop camping now!
🤣
-
@Nickenzie After this thread being made, now I actually want to camp.
-
I like this.
-
@TreemanXD I agree with you. I jumped from Rank 18 to Rank 15 last night in under two hours. Tonight, I did two games and am already about to be Rank 14 if I get just one more pip.
Keep in mind, I should not even be out of the gray ranks yet. I am still learning killer, and only earned enough bloodpoints to get Bubba to Level 35 for the BBQ teachable. Every other killer is somewhere between Level 1-4, with only one sitting at level 8.
There is no way in hell I should already be about to pip into Rank 14. I'm already heading into de-ranked vet territory as a legitimate baby killer.
As it stands, about my only choice is maybe to not play killer and let the rank reset next Saturday just drop me back down to Rank 17. I only jumped three ranks like that last night because I forgot it was a free weekend while playing, and was going against actual brand new players testing the game as survivor. Which boosted me because the matches were way easier than normal.
-
@SuperRavenSn1per I mean, I consider myself bad. But in the gray ranks I would get a lot of 3k and 4k even before the free-weekend, though some matches went 2k and very rarely a 0k or 1k. Often, the matches were so quick I didn't even get a Pip. I had to start slowing them down and let a couple escape (even though I could have downed them).
Something my ass should have done last night. I don't know why I didn't.
And most times, at the end of the match, I saw that I was Rank 18 facing yellow ranks (13-15, with the occasional Rank 12).
I did okay tonight when facing fellow yellow ranks, but when I had the green ranks (9, 10, and 11) as a majority of a survivor group, I got rolled. The difference in skill between ranks 12-15 and ranks 11+ are insane. I can only assume the higher green ranks are de-ranked Vets.
-
@SuperRavenSn1per I didn't Friday night, but as I mentioned in the other thread we replied to each other in, in hindsight I sure as hell should have.
-
@SuperRavenSn1per said:
If you loop in any way then you aren't good at this game! You should just throw every pallet down when a killer is chasing you and keep running!
Do you see how ridiculous that sounds? Saying if you camp in any way that you're bad is basically saying that looping for any reason is bad. Some killers you need to loop, while at the same time some survivors you need to camp because maybe the team is too altruistic and is just hovering around the hook, or maybe that survivor knows where the hatch is and has a key for the rest of the remaining team to escape.
@SuperRavenSn1per See, you have it right. Now, despite my snarky earlier post, I don't usually camp. I am bad at the game, though, but I'm also fairly new to playing (I bought it last summer and left by end of summer due to gray ranks being lobby simulator back then, just came back steadily when the "new" matchmaker first went in, before all the back and forth) and got boosted from Rank 18 all the way to Rank 15 Friday night due to this damned free-weekend and the fact that a 4k was impossible not to get against brand new survivors trying out the game.
Today, I've been facing a lot of Ranks 9 through 11, though, which is tough as hell when you honestly shouldn't be out of the gray ranks yet. I don't even have enough bloodpoints earned except to unlock the teachables on Bubba. Everyone else is Level 1 or Level 8 at the highest. So, being in the de-ranking Vet territory now truly sucks for me.
Anyway, I faced a team today that I found out quickly was extremely altruistic. When I hooked one, the other three literally swarmed the hook. The way they played, I think they figured out quickly that I was still a baby killer. So, I camped and revved the chainsaw. One tried to distract me, so I stepped away from the hook and let the chainsaw attack go off. Then I quickly stepped in reverse and nailed the other two that tried to unhook behind me.
The fourth moved in and I hit him once with M1 and chased him for a bit. He lost me, which was expected. The first died on hook. I hooked the other two. Camped one. The other got unhooked and here they came again.
Anyway, long story short, we kept repeating the process until they died for the altruism. I slugged number three and left him while I chased and downed number four (uh-oh, call the survivor police, I tunneled too), then hooked them both. They weren't getting Hatch on principle (they also loved to point and then t-bag at me).
So yeah, I camped with Bubba today because I noticed their altruism early on. But do I usually camp? No. I really don't care how survivor players view it (I'll play my killers my way), I just find it boring. After playing Legion, I think he might be my main, and I don't camp with him (and again, I don't care how survivors personally feel about facing him). Ditto for Myers, which will be my second main until I get used to Huntress.

Overwatch never got balanced for high skilled players, if they did bastion and mei wouldn't be so bad its consider throwing to pick them in comp and soldier 76 would be just as viable as mcree. Overwatch has terrible balance because blizzard is too much of a wuss to do the actual balancing the game needs. Too many people would complain, its stupid and so they try and do half and half ######### that makes the game worse for everyone.
@PeepingPeacock Blizzard does their balance based around the common player, the casual. Of that you are correct. And that is because, especially since 2004 and WoW, the casual player base has been their bread and butter. It's how they've made their billions.
The casuals are the ones that will play the game, and then run out and buy the Legos, and the action figures, and the T-shirts in greater volume. The hardcores and pros play to be competitive and the top guys. It's a different mindset and connection to the game. I don't care if it's Overwatch, HoTS, or WoW Mythic Raiding or Arena PvP.
It's the casuals that make Blizzard the most money. That's why, although they always throw a bone to the competitive players, the core of their games are always casual designed. WoW is, Hearthstone is, Heroes of the Storm is, and so is Overwatch.
I'm telling you this as someone who has been a Blizzard player since 1994 when Warcraft: Orcs and Humans released. Who's been in every title they've released since then for 25 years now. And who's seen how and where Blizzard made their billions since 2004. If anyone comes to a Blizzard game expecting an actual Competitive Game or experience, they're coming to the wrong game developer.
Even the Overwatch League isn't aimed at the hardcore viewers. That's why Blizzard has a broadcast deal with Disney for it to be broadcast on ESPN-3 (a general sports channel), ABC (a mainstream, average-Joe channel) and Disney XD (demographic of 6-13 years old). It's why Jake (Houston Outlaws) and others were on morning talk shows during season one talking about Overwatch. Shows that the average person watches before work in the morning. It's aimed at the casual, everyday person who might like what they see and want to buy the game (now a permanent $20 MSRP to make it easier to decide to buy) and then buy the lootboxes, along with some licensed products like the Lucio cereal, Legos, and the upcoming action figure line from Hasbro.
Blizzard was called the Disney of the Video Game Industry back in 2017 by both Forbes and Variety for a reason.
-
Screw it. I'll camp. And you know what? I know I'm bad at the game. So, the intended insult holds no weight. It's just belaboring the obvious.
-
@harry14141414 and @Carpemortum
And not just on PS4. The game is only $20 on PC. If you think that players who get their jollies from trolling won't buy a copy, play the DC game and ruin matches until a ban, buy a new copy and do it again, won't happen, then I have news for you.
It happens even in Overwatch, and that game is $20 a pop. I don't know how these asinine players make their money, but they can sure afford multiple copies of a $20 game just to troll. I've even seen it in MMOs with an MSRP. They will spend the money.
-
You want my honest opinion? Not at all. They'll say that they're looking into it and will reveal information at a later time.
Time will pass. More will pass. And nothing will be conveyed.
It's the same stall-and-ignore tactic they've been employing. One day, eventually, they'll do something. But not any time soon.
Look back, how long did it take them to address other outrage concerns for Perks? There's your answer.
-
@Cymer, What's funny is that I happened to cover this exact topic in another thread, when someone posted about the grind, and another player posted that the grind was the point of DbD.
I'll repeat it here, since it supports your thread. . . .
But ask yourself how many new players that enter DbD are going to feel that way about this grind. If Steam numbers outside of a free-weekend or BP Event are an indication, not a lot. The game doesn't exactly show real growth anymore.
DbD is a PvP Game. And while having a Rank system is expected, this type of MMO-style grind isn't. Hell, it even hurts Realm Royale in the BR genre.
Getting good with the characters, then getting really good with the characters, experimenting with loadouts (if it has them, like in Paladins or Realm Royale, for example), climbing the ranks, those are the reasons most people play PvP games.
PvP'ers today aren't playing the genre to grind out massive bloodwebs that are also so heavily controlled by RNG, just to be able to experiment with builds and experience a core part of the DbD PvP aspect.
I like Realm Royale for example, but the class-level grinds in order to unlock needed talent builds is not why I would play a Battle Royale. So, Apex got my money.
I like Overwatch for PvP. Been there since Beta. Zero grind outside of SR grind for Ranked mode. The draw is getting good, then really good, with different Heroes and their unique kits.
DbD has the same draw. Get good with the characters, get good with different loadouts, get good with different tactics . . . except, wait: First you need 1k hours in the game and a lot of bloodweb luck before you can actually do that.
If you're one of those players that get their gaming jollies off on endless RNG grinds, then you're in heaven. But a majority of players who want to PvP? That's not the market. And if you look around at some of the complaints of new players, even at the reddit, it's the asinine grind plus the RNG involved before you can truly play the game as its designed, that turns them off.
-
@BigFudge I followed this game for a long time before finally buying it. A long time. Guides, Streamers, lurked at the forums and reddit for a couple years before ever making a single post.
And, well, you aren't wrong.

I was chilling so hard in the purple ranks that I stopped playing. Division 2 is my master now. Pips are hard to get, de-pips are super easy to get.
@darktrix Yeah, tell me about. I just raced through Rank 18-16 last night thanks to this free weekend and so many absolute brand new survivors testing the game (I was a low-rank killer), that as soon as I hit Rank 15 last night at midnight I hit a brick wall head first. Obvious coordinated teams, P3 survivors, and generators popped so fast I have little time to get my mind into the game.
I have not been facing legitimate green ranked survivors by any stretch of the imagination. The sudden jump in difficulty is insane. And it's not fun, nor inspiring me to play again. I get having to learn and "git gud." This is far from my first PvP game. I've played Overwatch for three years, Paladins for two years, Apex, Realm Royale, Heroes of the Storm, and others. I PvP'ed back in MMOs. I know all about the meat-grinder process. But the difference once you hit rank 15 is asinine. It is far too easy to de-pip, and way too fast.

The worst thing is, with the current ranking system, people that should be much higher rank, are playing down there in the rank 15 pool. Many on purpose.
I also write, short stories atm. I wouldn't mind talking about that in DM if you're game to talk shop.
@SmokePotion Yeah. Tell me about it.
I hit Rank 15 last night around midnight, and the game changed.
Tried to play Bubba since he is the only one I have BBQ on. Can't get it to appear in any other bloodweb.
Play Bubba? I'm laughing my ass off. First three Rank 15 games in a row I got hit with obvious SWFs that were not legitimate green ranks. They were coordinated like no tomorrow and gen-rushed me hard as hell. First game, I ate it. Very short game. Second game, four gens popped before I was even in a 30 second chase against one survivor (caught them at a popped generator), I did what I NEVER do. I DC'ed. Third game went the exact same way. I knew that one was likely going to be a bust when FOUR p3 Claudettes all loaded in. Should have dodged that lobby from the start. I didn't. Figured I'd play it and learn something.
Well, I once again learned that four gens can pop quicker than a virgin on prom night, I should walk away again (I did), and I should also logout of the game. Which I did.
That was the last series of games I played. I haven't logged in yet today, and I'm not sure that I care to. I went through the gray ranks way too fast thanks to this free-weekend and all the brand new survivors trying it out. I am not ready for Rank 15, where you have de-pip squads playing SWF. I'm tempted to just let the game collect dust until next Saturday, when rank reset will drop me back down to rank 17, because that was asinine. I don't care if survivors escape, I don't care if I pip, but I'll be damned before I keep playing matches and not have a chance to earn bloodpoints.
I suppose it's a good thing for me that the new Archives event is coming to Overwatch in a couple of weeks.
(Oh, and playing Nurse is not an option, before that suggestion is made. I've tried that. I seem to have the same issue with her blinks as I do with Tracer in Overwatch. The sudden movement on the screen makes me nauseous and I get a headache after a few times of doing it.)

Yeah, now y'all see why this particular DLC skipped the PTB phase. They knew what they were doing, and looked to avoid all the PTB blow-ups in addition to the Live patch blow-ups, because it wasn't being changed anyway.
