Who's your favorite killer to play? Not necessarily because they're viable at high ranks or can get the 4k or can stop the loop. This isn't necessarily about stealth as then Pig would enter the mix. But as far as general play at the green and purple ranks, who do you feel is the better stalker Killer, Myers or Ghostface. So, couple years ago, I purchased DbD due to Myers. Of all the slasher Icons I grew-up on, he was always my favorite. I put him down in early to mid 2019 due to burnout and moved on to other killers. Anyway, been trying to pick him up again and having a lot of trouble getting any type of pressure or even a snowball effect (Purple rank survivors). Any tips from current mains out there? My 22-year-old son (my second of four kids) hasn't lived at home for a few years and games mostly on Xbox. I don't play on consoles, I'm a PC m+kb guy. Thanks to crossplay, I finally got to play a video game with him again since his PC died right after he moved out. Me on PC, him and a friend on Xbox, and his other two friends on PS4. @Peanits Quick question: The hotfix notes sound fairly clean in regards to a 4-man SWF that all queue together. But how does this new MM logic work when there are two 2-man SWF groups that did their own queue into the lobby? Say, for example, one team is a Rank 4 and a Rank 18, and the other 2-man team is Rank 17 and Rank 12? Which perk should I dump my BP into next, Ruin or PGTW? Keep in mind that I only play occasionally and play very casually. I'm more into BP than rank, and at my best have never climbed above Rank 12, and usually hover around rank 14 or 15 by the time a reset happens since I don't play every night, and sometimes not for a week or two. I know the team is/was working on it, and I haven't logged in since last week because it became unplayable for me being the lower end of double-digit ranks playing against purples and reds. I already have the teachables for LF and Doc unlocked. I'm not going to bother with Hag at the moment because I honestly don't play often enough to hit the ranks where something like Ruin is actually needed before a rank reset drops me down again. This is getting ridiculous now, and is effectively coming off as amateur-hour. First you implement the new matchmaker, which causes a slew of issues across the board. Some of us got faster lobbies, others were waiting in Lobby Simulator. Then you revert to the old one. Now some of us are back in Lobby Simulator, others returned to fast lobbies. As the title says, it truly is. So, as a brand new player at Rank 20, I tried to play tonight and there were far too many lobbies where the Survivors popped in with Bloody Clothing. Yeah, it's nice: The vets could derank to Rank 15 and then get the reset into the grey ranks by being lowered to Rank 17. Easy matches and bloodpoints. So, as a brand new player, should I focus too much on completing Killer Rituals, or mainly just learn the game first with Killers I am comfortable with? As of right now, as a new player, I am about prepared to just shelve Dead by Daylight and move on. While I play both Survivor and Killer to learn the game, I prefer Killer. I bought Dead by Daylight in part to play my favorite killers that I grew-up on: Myers, Freddy, and Leatherface. I know: so did a lot of other folks. So, I notice that Killers seem very Add-On dependent for powers. Though I want to main Killer, it seems to me from the little I have experimented, that it might be better for me to focus on a Survivor, first. Get them to Level 15 for the four perk slots, then use my Bloodpoints to get my Killers leveled up.
