  • Lunge is a little ridiculous could use a slight nerf. Killers will have to get gud at chasing.

can't say i feel bad for you when you sit there and antagonize someone, what do you expect OP?
you're in the wrong here, not him

Agreed, you incited him into saying those things and deserve the ban in his stead. As a real word example, if you call someone the N word and they punch you don't expect to run to the police and pretend you were minding your business and it came outta nowhere.

This idea that "because he eventually killed you" and "he didn't prolong the match" is exactly why we have little shits like that still running around in the game.

In any other game something like this would immediately be labeled as greifing, no matter how long the time (unless you're playing Rust, in which case you better be prepared to be someone's little prisoner)

In any other game, one team standing in the way to block the other from doing their objective would have been fixed a long, long time ago.

Bodyblocking shouldn't be in the game for anyone. But survivors wanted it as a tactic, so it's only fair that killers get to use it as a tactic too.

The bias is strong. I don’t get how people don’t see the difference between survivor body blocks and killer body blocks.

    SURVIVORS TAKE DAMAGE

    KILLERS DO NOT

you risk something to block as a survivor you risk nothing as a killer.

this guy waited 8 minutes, after 2/3 most players would assume a hostage game and DC.

A killer bodyblocking a guy in basement risks losing all map pressure and geting genrushed

The killer could have gotten more kills by hooking the guy, camping the hook and using his noed on another survivor and then camping that hook. Easy 2k, instead of the 1k he got.

While he bodyblocked the basement, the survivors had free reign of of the map. It's in the same vein as camping a hook, only WAAAAY less efficient. Camping a hook at least makes sense because you are getting your kill while taking a survivor out of the match...plus it's only 2 mins.

Bodyblocking in this way is not a good strategy unless you are solely trying to frustrate that survivor. And if the survivor wasn't taunting the killer, then it is truly a dick move.

But we also don't know what happened pre-bodyblock! Maybe this survivor was teabagging and taunting...in which case, the in-game response makes sense.

That's quite irrelevant. You are still holding someone's game hostage for 5+ minutes. This should be bannable.

I actually agree in technical terms the killer was not allowing the survivor to partake in normal gameplay and he should be banned, it really comes down to how long they are bodyblocking for in the end but anything more then 5+ minutes deserves a temp ban. However waiting 20 seconds for BT to run out is a valid strategy IMO.

  • Yes, but only because there is no counter-play for a survivor, the only compromise I can see is that the mending countdown timer only activates when you are outside the killers terror radius.

  • I definitely think the basement and the shack should be customized based on each killer. Freddy gets his boiler room basement, Pig gets her surveillance shack ect.

  • @TheCatLady said:
This almost feels like a response post to Monto's new Legion video lol. Blocking the staircase from the basement to wait out borrowed time is a valid tactic. It sucks when you're in that position as the survivors though I'll admit. But it's not a reportable offence imo.

I'd still consider it holding the game hostage, at what point does blocking the stairs go from a tactic to an exploit? 30 seconds, 10 minutes, 30 minutes or even an hour. If something has to be judged on a case by case basis then it should just be removed entirely.

  • If they ever make NEA a killer her ability should be to blind the survivors with a flashlight.

  • Replace Nurses Calling with Iron Maiden and I'd argue doc is even stronger.

Probably say "Hey soon to be dead noobs, dbd is on sale this week 60% off of all dlc, so buy it plus look at the new trapper mask"

I have a feeling licensed content will be teased. "Look guys its that titty sprinkler outfit you wanted for Leatherface it suits him oh so well"

It has been a while since we had a licensed chapter, a surprise dlc drop for a killer like Leatherface would be awesome.

  • Michael Myers Halloween 2018 cosmetics you heard it here first folks.

  • I actually agree, most threads dissolve into imbeciles being toxic or spam posting getgud instead of any discussion of real merit over some obvious problems involving the game. A place where people can actually talk instead of it turning into a flame war over which side is the bigger victim would be great.

  • Bring back the offering that let's us change the killer first.

  • @Tzeentchling9 said:
Iron Maiden doesn't effect your ability to be good at the game though.

LOL if you think walking around waiting for people to scream in order to find them takes skill then your delusional. The only counter to doc was hopping in a locker, now there is no counter except looping which is dumb and you know it. Of-course we'll have to wait and see how it plays out on the live build but it looks like doc just got a whole lot stronger with no real counterplay.

  • I definitely think that No One Left Behind could use a buff, maybe add the Borrowed Time affect to the unhooker as an incentive to take a hit while saving bringing the combo back to it's pre nerf strength of BT.

  • Fix the hitboxes again and boost her movement speed, I think it's a good trade.

  • I like "We'll make it" because killers ree so hard when they see that injured state disappear before they can waddle back to the hook.

  • Hopefully Alpine Kate was a hint at a snow themed realm, Lery's Doesn't count. ;)

But yea, go on an deny it.
I hope the Devs bring back the "most and least used perks" stats into their stream.

For bloodpoint gains yes but there is no inherent advantage to running it during a match, if a survivor spends the bp on addons and items sure but as a killer you already know they are bringing in a flashlight, box ect. The value just isn't there to make it a game changing perk.

  • @Wolf74 said:

Combine with We'll Make It makes the most sense, puts it closer to bbq in terms of power.

Yea, combining 2 already good perks into one sounds totally balanced. [/sarcasm]

Since when was WGLF considered a good perk? Your gimping your team of another good perk by running it, atleast when combined with We'll Make It, the incentive is there to heal them instead of farm them. If the BP was only rewarded by successfully healing them then farming wouldn't even be an issue since nobody would go for unsafe saves if that was the case.

  • Combine with We'll Make It makes the most sense, puts it closer to bbq in terms of power.

  • Leatherface does not discriminate on who's face he wants to wear.

"Enjoyable for both sides" where? I think this is the opposite, more fun for one size since now you delete a decent perk to replace it with garbage

BBQ is still in the game it just wouldn't grant bloodpoint bonuses.

At least you know why gives more bp? You know why killers needs more bp than a survivor? Dobyou know why they made this perk?

If the answer is no then don't bother doing this threads, ty

You don't have to reply to every thread you don't like you know, I know rank 1 killer is lonely with those long lobbies after 4king from 15-1 but there are other things to do then browse the forums. If you don't want 200% bloodpoints then move along and be a good little killer in your lonely ranks, I understand finding survivor's is really hard and you need wallhacks but it's okay not everybody is good at the game. Please keep replying so it stays on the front page longer the more you killers do the higher chance the devs will see it. ;)

A perk better then bbq for blood-points and killers still cry why am I not surprised, go wait an hour for your lobby and browse the forums some more, this whole forum and steam forums are killer centric because you all have nothing better to do then complain at rank 1 because nobody joins your lobbies after 4king from 15-1. Learn about actual game balance, the game involves 5 players who want to have fun not 1 killer crybaby and 4 people who are just there to get downed and hooked. Get out of my thread if all your gonna do is cry and moan, it's a discussion not a flame war. Only reason you all cry is because your afraid the devs will see a good fair idea post and might actually remove some clearly overpowered abilities on certain characters, absolutely nothing to add to discussions besides get gud and your an idiot as usual. If you don't like my post then move on and stop whining like a little bish, you losers don't always have to reply whenever you see something you don't like you know.

Also please killers comment cry some more so my post stays on the front page longer so the devs see it, try thinking a little further ahead then bumping everything with get gud or stop making post. Your only hurting yourselves.

I would like at-least 6 survivor's vs 1 killer. More gens or increased gen times and more people for killers to kill can never be a bad thing.

F*ck, no! Herding four cats is tiring enough, I don't have the stamina to chase six of the little bastards.

Just hook who you can, 3 die 3 escape that's a fair and even match.

  • I would like at-least 6 survivor's vs 1 killer. More gens or increased gen times and more people for killers to kill can never be a bad thing.

  • Bond or Empathy will replace Self-care.

  • Either using Self-care makes you bad or the killer is bad and can't handle a chase past one hit and gives the survivor a chance to use self-care.

  • Same could be said for Ebony Mori's.

  • I agree, problem stems from hooking animation starting before killer reaches the hook thanks to the vacuum. I’ve hit decisive and wiggled plenty of times before killer physically began hooking but was negated because of the cha cha slide killer does that halts wiggle and decisive progress iregardless of wether you hit it or are at 99% wiggle.

There's actually nothing wrong with those Meg skins and it doesn't look any diaperish imo. Seems you have rather a weird taste or never wore a diaper as a lil baby, you poor thingy. Meg has just a thicc bootey tho.

Her original cosmetics are good, the store cosmetics nerf her butt hard because they want Kate Denson to take the spotlight I imagine. I will not stand for this, the argument for buffing Megs booty is something I can get behind.

  • How I would personally change No Mither is to give 200% blood-point gains post trial, you start the trial uninjured and the killers aura reading perks do not work on you. You make yourself vulnerable in looping but gain stealth benefits and directly counter BBQ, Nurses Calling while healing others, ect. Like David King's playstyle is supposed to be, high risk, high reward.

Create new cosmetic => fresh money

    Its all about priorities

    Old cosmetics can still sell.

Exactly, I'm sure BHVR has every number and statistic on what sells and what doesn't and bases their future cosmetics off that but this is 750 auric cells worth of content that could sell if they made it look better. I mean come-on take a look at this, her original leggings look great and make waiting on the hook bearable, with the L4D jeans Meg then goes from hot mom at Target to a 40 year old methhead named Trixie at a trucker rest-stop with the store bought jeans. I understand people don't want to "sexualize" the game and what not but it's not like she's running around with a thong sticking out or in a bikini.

  • Start Uninjured, 100% bonus to all bloodpoint gains that trial. No reason to take a perk that gimps you and your team unless you get rewarded for it.

  • I wouldn't mind it so long as it fit with the theme of a dlc or killer. A sea monster killer along with a boardwalk map would be sweet.

  • Unreal Engine 4 has built in VR functionality out of the box so theoretically it would work, however I doubt the devs will ever flip the switch and let us use it.

  • Halloween costumes for sure for the Original Four along with a haunted mansion style map in a new realm.

    Dwight - Ghost

    Meg - Red Devil

    Jake - Lumberjack

    Claudette - Hippie

Just a couple ideas off the top of my head, I think the Devil for Meg would be amazing since she makes most killers lives hell haha.

  • I would be all for a SWF filter if we could filter out Nurse/Hillbilly.

  • Yes we need a perk that lets you pull a gun from the chest so we can stun the killer randomly.

Are you sure because more often then not it's the ones being spoonfed survivor locations who cry the loudest.

all your ideas are frankly moronic, get better as a survivor before making another thread please.

Always killers crying since they can't play without a certain perk, as if the game suddenly becomes unplayable without BBQ and Franklins, try getting gud without them for a change? What I love about my suggetions is that it doesn't matter what you say every post calling me a "moron" or to get gud keeps it on the frontpage longer solidifying that I am correct that a certain perk needs balancing heightening the chances of a dev seeing it, and if a dev does see it, test it, realizes that my idea may actually be a balanced change and go through with it in the end, your tears and salt with give me life fuel. In the end I am the killer of overpowered killers, food for thought, no?

Are you serious? No I’m not! I want survivors who are trying to run through the exit, or escaping through hatch, to die like they are supposed to if they have a trap on their head. That’s what is supposed to happen!

I did a little research on the crawl escapes, did they crawl through the exits or did you RBT them inside the gates. Supposedly if you RBT them there they can crawl out otherwise they will die normally.

  • @DarkWo1f997 said:
    Killmaster said:

Bear traps are not guaranteed kills, if survivors have the will to survive they will escape them just like the films.

Hey, except for the fact that the only way to disarm them, through a “game”. Dude seriously do you ever play killer? 100% of your posts are demands for killer nerfs. The only way to get the traps off, is through the jigsaw boxes, in the movies did they just walk out with the trap on their head and live happily ever after?  Come on now, please be reasonable.

It’s supposed to kill you if you don’t disarm it, why the hell should you just be able to waltz out?

Don’t take this the wrong way, as I don’t mean to be a jerk, but DO NOT come to the forums wanting nerfs if you DO NOT have experience with both sides. It’s infuriating that you’ll defend whatever makes things easy for you, as opposed to fair.

Thats not fair to every killer main in the game. There is already an extremely low population of killers because they just aren’t fun to play for most people because of how stressful it is. Please be more considerate here.

You are the one arguing for a guaranteed kill after one chase, pig gameplay is 90% tunneling anyways I really don't care if someone can crawl out the exit gate, if you let that person get that far its on you. I'd argue they should even bring back deadharding out the exit with beartraps on back as-well, anything to make the game endgame tunnel chase fair.
