Why is there no visual indication that a boon is active for killer?? Survivors get a indication that a hex is active with an icon, not have the same for killer when a boon is active? I'm aware that there is a sound, but that not really to easy to hear, specially for player with hearing issues.
I mean to be fair you won't be able to find it anyways if you can't hear good because you won't waste your time searching for a boon without hearing it most likely. That being said I don't see a harm in showing it, you don't know where it is or what it does anyways, so bhvr should just add it I think :D

Killer can abandon when all survivors are bots
Oh yes you're right! Like I said I don't use it and therefore don't really know the triggers of being able to abandon xD

The killer can abandon only if they surrender yeah, but that is not the case…
The case is that the survivors can chose to leave when "everything seems to be lost" but the killer cannot do the same.
You understood me wrong, I thought I remembered that the killer can also abandon if all 4 survivors are on the ground. Also I think in that case it's also okay, they only have a few perks that could save them, they have basically lost.
So if that are all cases at the moment then it's okay I think, maybe give the killer the option to abandon on 4 man sluggs too to make it fair. But everything else that just let's you abandon if you feel like you have a bad game shouldn't be added

Well I guess that also doesn't matter, but in that case the killer can also abandon or do I remember wrong? xD

I work in tech too, mainly backend and dev ops, and i definitly wouldn't wanna switch with any of the devs creating the game.
I rather develop some boring customer management infrastructure and get payed well than maintaining a game infrastructure that was built on blueprints and never really refactored in an organized manner. 😅
EDIT: (and get payed less probably🫠)
Yep writing everything new would be the only thing that would save it in any way I think. But that's a lot of work and takes ages probably xD
At least you have to say it's not as bad as customer systems I think, I feel like you can cause a much bigger financial harm there :D

Omg i forgot about that one, just free tunneling/escapes if you got the timing right or wrong.
I know right, it's so beautifully chaotic. As much as I'm annoyed by the inconsistence of this game sometimes, I just feel like it's fun to see which bugs this game will develope over the time xD
That being said it must be a nightmare to work on this game, I can kinda feel the pain as I work as a webdeveloper :D xD

The problem is that it seems a bit unfair that right now the survivors have the option to say "oh well the game is lost lets get out" while the killers do not seem to have that option.
What are even the situations you can dc at right know? I just know the one during moris (even tho it feels increadible pointless because it's literally 5 seconds at max), after being slugged 2 times in a row and I believe the one where you can skip the death-animation on hook.
I don't really think that those are harmfull in any way even tho the slugging one is probably not perfect I guess. That's a situation where another way could be better, but I don't know enough about gamedesign to make it fair for both sides.

And what is this? There is no pick up and that is not even anyway the same. That is latency between survivor, server and killer and what happened first on things that are happening about the same time. On killers side that it shows it looks like he was meant to be stunned. On survivors side and server side it most likely went more like survivor dropped the pallet before the killer started the lunge and so was not on the area that would cause the stun. Latency and lag causes that kind of things time to time nothing special in there.
Honestly I didn't see it since ages that I wasn't stunned by a palette, I just see a lot that I get stunned a meter away, sometimes even over corners behind a wall. It's pretty impressive to see that.
But I agree that the pickup things from the start was most likely ping.

Then honestly the fair option is to remove all the DC options for the killers and survivors tho.
I wouldn't care about that really, so for me it would be fine. However most people wouldn't like that I imagine - so at least keep it at problematic situations, things like op discribed simply is not a situation we should enable that for.
Dc's for free just because you're simply losing is something I don't like because it just enables ragequits and doesn't force people to get better at the game. Situations like being slugged for ages without any intend to pick them up or survivors hidding for ages without touching anything are situations I can accept dc's for even tho I won't use that myself - that being said it would be better to try to fix this without more dc's because it's just creating the sitution I described where we don't play the game anymore.

Either give Killer's the ability to abandon a game thats going poorly or remove the Survivors free DC abandon.
How about we just don't do that, learn to live with the existence of bad games and just play the game. The more dc opportunities we add the more we don't play the game anymore.

My favorite is still the one where you unhooked and dropped a palette at the same time and the survivor was then teleported to the palette. It was so beautifully random xD

Hello!
My and my brother are in a steam family and we both own copies of Dbd. We recently discovered by accident that when we use each other copies of the game, after leveling up a previously unowned character and obtaining their teachable perks, even when you loose access to the character, the perks stay.
To explain it simply:
1.I used my brother's copy of the game to play Jason.
2.I levelled him up to prestige one using my own bloodpoints.
3.After coming back to my copy of the game Jason's perks are available on all my killers (I don't own this DLC and I didn't own any of his perks previously).
Is this way of obtaining perks by using steam family sharing bannable? Do you maybe know how could I get an official Devs response?
You could ask the support, I honestly don't think it's bannable because perks are also obtainable through the shrine of secrets, so they don't lose any money from that. Doesn't mean that they won't fix it at some point probably.
Well no matter what I would ask the support first :)

If a survivor goes for the unhook (not immediately but) unhooks before you've found another chase is it cheesy to go straight back?
Ill target the unhooker generally as I prefer not to tunnel unless absolutely necessary which is my personal choice of course.
I know this might sound like another rule in the survivor rulebook but does anyone else go back if they haven't found a new chase yet?
For some people probably - I would just tell you to do it. It doesn't make sense to keep yourself from playing in certain ways, you will just restrict your options of playing and that's all, most people won't thank you for that xD

Survivors are toxic and Teabag and taunt Killers at the gate this is frustrating and it's time to put an end to it.
Survivors should when they successfully open a gate, or are within 10 meters of an open gate after 10 seconds should be cursed and for every 5 seconds they linger in the radius of the exit gate lose 10% of their blood points.
I mean: not at the gate but if I remember correctly and nothing changed the judgement will punish them if you hate it that much xDD
(I find it increadible amusing, but also kinda pointless to add that to a killers kit :D)

You can't lunge while carrying.
The only logical reason to do it is to try and hit the person pallet saving if they are in front of you, but experienced killers will do it anyway because there's always the SLIGHT chance they hit the tick perfect swing to cancel the pallet stun and you lose nothing by simply trying but stand to gain a lot.
This is a bug that has been in the game for a very long time where you can cancel any pallet stun if you START an action on the same tick you would be stunned. It's not consistent enough to do every time, and I'd say it's quite rare so it's not a huge issue BUT that is the main reason experienced killers auto m1 if they think a pallet save is coming; there's a small chance the game just insta cancels it.
Honestly my reason is more to gain a bit of distance to be out of range. I didn't even know it can cancle the stun, but I know for sure that there are enough people that simply drop too late and I'm out of range then xD

@Arcturus said:
Just found out in a match that you can just swing as a killer to avoid a pallet stun entirely, even if the sound still plays and it's well timed (the killer is already done with the animation). As long as you swing at the right time it's like it never happened, and now oops not only does the killer still have the survivor, but you might be injured from the swing, and you wasted a (potentially important) pallet. I don't remember this ever being in the game before I stopped playing like a year ago so I'm assuming it's some sort of bug, but that is actually so stupid. To give players a mechanic and then just say "it just doesn't work sometimes, too bad" is insane. There may be a bunch of other issues that need to be fixed but this is also dumb and needs to be fixed.
Without seeing both povs it's hard to tell, but I would actually assume it's just badly syncronized. The killer pov is usually the one the game accepts as the truth.
So my assumtion is that the killer swung out and was already out of range on his screen, the game likes to take the killers pov so he wasn't in range for the game, the survivor pov in this case was that he still was in range and played the sound but then rolled back because the game said "nope wasn't in range".
It kinda sounds like the same like hitting a survivor through a stun, getting the scream and blood, but still not the hit.
Well knowing dbd I'm also not saying that there couldn't be a bug regarding this, but the desync-issue regards almost everything in this game so I would say that's more likely what happened.
(Sorry for any spelling mistakes or weird sentences, I'm german xD)

Lightborn has become far too strong and is appearing in matches much more frequently recently. It completely removes the counterplay of flashlights and makes an entire survivor item nearly useless with just one perk slot. The perk provides too much value with almost no downside. I believe Lightborn needs a nerf or rework to allow some form of counterplay instead of giving complete immunity to blinds.
Sure if you give me counterplay against blinds from outside my view even if I look against a wall against 3-4 flashlights or just 3-4 flashlights in general. Because that's the situations I use it in. (Yes I know there is slugging or franklins, but both is really damn annoying to play still and just exhausts me after a while).
Besides that from which year of dbd are you talking about? I believe I started 2021 and even there lightborn was already full immunity, it was a percentage ages ago xD

This poll is about attacks that appear to miss visually but still register as hits, including basic attacks, projectiles, attacks near pallets or windows, and hits affected by latency.
Regardless of whether the cause is survivor hitboxes, weapon or projectile hitboxes, animation desynchronization, or latency compensation, do you think the current hit detection accurately reflects what players see on screen?
You should specify which side you're talking about. In my experience it's most of the time accurate for killerside on their screen but not as much for survivor. Generally I would say they need to look at it and make it consistent on both sides, but the real issue is the view of the survivor.

I wanted to try a power struggle build, but every time I was down on a pellet, killer just picked me up from the last pixel of my character and dragged me away. Also, is just dumb how I can drop the pallet and killers can just swing to avoid it. Just a easy counterplay for a niche perk.
If you're positioned right it's not so easy, also you have to spam leftclick around 100 times per second to avoid being stunned it feels like. I honestly wouldn't call that easy counterplay for a single perk that gives you an increadible preassure in general because it makes it so much harder to pick up.

I remember a couple years back before I took a break from the game there were several killers who had broken pallet break animations that would make them look so far down while doing so that it made it impossible to blind them. Just this last game though I went against a Plague and was shining a beam in her face from before the animation even started to well after, yet I never got close to a blind. No lightborn or nothing. The only things I can think of was the latency on the server was a bit higher or it could be another pallet break animation issue.
Do I see that as killer too or is it just the killermodell for the survivor? I played several killers yesterday and I wouldn't remember looking down any more while breaking palettes then normally - but I also wan't to say that plague wasn't under them, so maybe it's something with her then?

Mostly killers like Wraith, Legion, Clown, Doctor, Knight, Nemesis, Dredge, and any of the M1 killers.
Well then I'm not suprised that you hate palettes, m1 killers are generally not good at palettes of course there are some that are at least pretty okay but that not usually the case.
Honestly dredge, nemesis and clown as well as knight are already good options if used right. Otherwise I would say ken (I consider him a m1 killer with speed) is also pretty reasonable to learn and pretty strong for that, maybe freddy because his slowdown is pretty good at palettes and he can teleport.

I've been playing the killer role for a long time now and I'm starting to notice that some of my weaknesses as a killer player is that i sometimes try to mind game survivors but they just end up creating distance, i absolutely hate pallets, i sometimes struggle with gen pressure while having chases that are too long, what are some easy killers that you recommend me to play as/main? (I'm not good at aim so ranged killers are off the table)
What kind of killers did you like to play so far? So I mean teleport, movement, instadown, slowdown, m1 and whatever you find else. Best would be with an example :D

It would be amazing to have a killer who disguises themselves as a survivor! After spending 30 seconds near a survivor, they could transform into the killer and go on a rampage. It would be like an impostor: they could work on or sabotage generators, place traps around the map, and—whenever they healed or unhooked a survivor—they could see the auras of the other survivors. Just a suggestion!
I believe this idea was scraped long ago with the reasoning that it wouldn't work for swf at all. They could simply ask if it's their friend and that's it, for solo queue it would be unfair if they wouldn't give you a sign to see if it's the real survivor and if they did it would be ineffective again. I guess it could work to simply give the killer some kind of power that everyone looks the same as well as the killer if transformed, maybe switching the survivor at a constant timer or a amount of transforms.
Well I guess we won't get something like this for now :)

A lot of people are conflating it with anxiety disorder, not just the sensation of anxiety, and it's resulting in some really presumptuous things being said about people that get anxious when wanting to play killer.
To the thread in general, clarifying some things because this is getting derailed hard:- I'm not narcissistic. I don't want a 4k nor do I particularly play for one.
- I don't keep playing a game that's making me feel bad. I straight up just don't play killer if I'm feeling anxious about it. The problem is wanting to play killer, but choosing not to because of an emotional state.
- I don't expect the devs to do anything about it. The issue is with the individual, i.e. me, and somewhat the community overall (tribalism.)
- Discussing the aspects of playing killer that can cause stress is not the same as demanding the game change to remove/alter said aspects. A lot of people might just want to find common ground and a little bit of validation that they're not alone. It's human to feel illogical emotions, human to feel ashamed about that and human to seek catharsis by talking about it.
- I don't think anyone here is trying to stake a claim to a mental illness caused by the game. Anxiety is not just a medical term. It is also a sensation that everyone feels from time to time.
Personally, I would have found it quite nice to discuss with some other people how they feel, how I feel, what we have in common and learn to overcome this silly little hurdle together. Instead, we've got accusations and insults. Thoroughly disappointing.
It would have been nice yes, but I honestly expected it a bit.
Well in general after hearing a bit about it now I can understand what people mean by having anxiety to play killer. While I don't have it really for killer, I think I might have something similar for survivor - some people are scared because as killer they have to manage their mistake fully on themselfs, I'm scared to play survivor because I generally hate if people have to deal with my mistakes.
Well I hope this discussion gets less insulting now :D

No… I do not agree with this statement. The fact that this is even a conversation.
The idea that turning off the video game is not an option proves that.
First of all I don't even have it, I have that for survivor if even but for making mistakes that in turn makes people upset because they lose.
And second I think both of you are talking about the medical term, I'm german and I just translate it as fear not as the medical term in that case - could this be?

He got a downvote from me because the statement "I don't have killeranxiety because I'm not nacissistic" is straight up an insult to people that have it, and it's rather sad that you seem to agree to that.
I could also say something to the 4k part, to the part with work and live (I worked 9 hours yesterday btw and the day before 10, in both cases I had time to play still), calling it "boring entainment" and still doing it is also wild.
Also coming to a post with people that are scared to play one side or another and telling them that you're disappointed in them (which he essencially did with the sentence "I'm disappointed in the quality of players") is straight up diabolic.

I wouldn't say i get scared necessary but I've seen alot of stuff playing through the years . I would say it's almost like ptsd not saying that's what it is but I play alot of the lower tier killers so some maps can just kill me or even perks.
IIt Would go something like I boot up the game click on killer and then start thinking about the some of the crazy bs like maybe get a decent squad on like garden of joy or that bully squad the kept hit me with flashlights making sure I had 0 hooks stuff like that start going through your head and you start going man do I really want to q up into to that
Ah I see, I can kinda relate to that but I think I'm rather exhausted on the thought of that and during the time I play than having the feeling of wanting to avoid it entirely. Also my response to situations like that ranges from ether being so exhausted that I just except losing but still trying, or I tryhard completely and see if I can overpower that if I play as efficient as possible.
I think your describtion would fit better to playing survivor for me, I really lose the interest in playing survivor at the thought that I might make mistakes and let my team down. Also I get panic, so I breath faster, my mind races and such...
Ah well probably not the best time to explain that right now, I'm mentally a bit scratched right now. I try it later again maybe :D

This question is being purely asked out of anecdotal experience and the lack of messeges I receive while playing the game.
My definition of toxicity is less in-game behavior, and specifically offensive and hateful messages sent after the game with negative intent. For console this especially includes individuals who have to go out of their way to convey that negativity through direct profile messages.
Something to note is that I am a console player, so I don't see an end game voice chat where its far easier for people to air their negative thoughts and move on.
Despite that, its still possible for players on the same console platform to message me directly which happens almost never. Most times I actually receive a gg more often than I ever receive anything negative. Otherwise its nothing from roughly 80% of everyone I play against. Another thing to keep on mind is that main killer so the chances of receiving a hate message is higher minus pc/different consoles.
On my platform, I do hear about players receiving hate messages fairly often, but even in games like COD were its a far more common occurance, I think its been a few years since I've received legitmate hate for the way I play, and for winning. No one has ever really gone out fo their way outside of specific instances I can count with my fingers across my entire time gaming online. Am I just lucky? Is being on console a significant factor or is the toxicity not present the way most people assume it is?
Depends on your playstyle I suppose, I was insulted before a few times for being german, also for tunneling, sometimes people say that they want to report me for hacking - I wish them luck most of the time lol, some people insult you for writing ggs when they lose, I was also insulted for slugging someone at the top of ironworks of missery because he had boild over.
People find a lot of reasons to insult you in this game. That being sad I usually collect bad comments on steam but it feels like people don't really write them anymore, not even in the endgame chat - this goes for I think 1-1 1/2 years now xD

I've been seen a lot of creators make videos lately so I figured i would make a post here.
I want to start by saying I've been playing dbd on and off for around 6 years now, I started a little after the clown release and I have killer anxiety. There's many times I load up and get to the killer screen and just stop or maybe sit there trying to find a killer and start thinking of all the stress. That bully squad that was on point and just made that match feel like crap or the match that I ended up having a bad first chase and the game steam roll out of my hands so quickly and then I just close the game out because nah I don't really want to deal with it I'll go play thing else.
I have agree with refined that I'm maybe not be the devs intention but it's most definitely there responsibility to fix the problem. If your game is actively giving one side a real form of anxiety there needs to be some form of change. I think that more attention should be brought to this subject.
I know I'm about to get the loud minority of survivors coming in here and saying how dumb it is and that the killer role is easier them it's ever been but just because the hill your trying to climb is now a 80 degree angle now instead of 90 doesn't make it easy.
If you all want leave your stories here get them out we can try and have an actual discussion.
Just out of interest what exactly scares you about playing killer?
I'm a killer main personally and I rather don't play survivor. My reason in this case is that my own mistakes matter to 3 other people and can trip them over, I'm personally rather at fault for my own mistakes than making other people have to deal with them. While it's more like a preference it's also kinda a fear because I'm actually scared in reallife to interact with people, I also usually try to do everything on my own to not make them any problems and stuff like that. I don't even go into baking shops because I'm scared to talk to the baker xD
So is it in your case turned around kinda that you're scared of having to deal with your mistakes or is it more like a fear that you have to perform on a kind of stage? (Now that I think about that I think the fear with the stage is also probably a reason why I don't play survivor much. Sure they are looking at me as killer too, but more as an enemy instead of someone that performs for you I think?)

Is it truly that strong if I'm winning more in the mode than I do in regular without even really engaging much with poison? It's very easy to play around most of it, and to bait its usage. I don't think it took most people that long to figure out. It's that classic argument about a thing being strong if the survivors are stellar and do everything perfect.
Well in the normal mode I would win more, so Idk what exactly you do. Figure out ways to play around it is just possible if there are any.
I won't play plague (i hate her projectile so much, my god) and I won't play legion, there are people that know how to heal people midchase and other situations where it makes sense, so the instaheal isn't countered already. The portals are basically only countered by speed and ranged, you have to hope that you're quick enough to hear the invisibility fast enough so they are not gone basically after the portal. The sprintburst one simply is not counterable because I believe it's not even coupled to exhaustion, sometimes people used 3 in one chase and that was only because I was too stupid to hit my spears, as pig I would have passed away in 5 sprintburst per chase it feels like. The palette effect is not countable really except the use of the poison, clown or doctor I guess, also it depends heavely on map and loop - speed will also work. And the invincability is indeed not that strong, but then again ranged can ignore it, with an m1 killer it could be incredible annoying especially if they use it on vaults.
Well in the end I stay on my point. I'm pretty sure that the overall escaperate for survivors would be much higher in this event because of the abilities and I don't believe op has under 10%, otherwise it's really not the event because it gives you strong enough abilities for sure.
And with that I end it because I honestly don't want to discuss anymore and we won't agree anyways :D

So you're telling someone there's no reason they should be losing while you're winning on the opposite side? Does that really make sense?
This is the result of 75 matches for me so far:
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/KBFRFOBLBXNW/screenshot-20260709-143517.jpg
And I'm not not even exploiting the killers everyone hopped on. The people I'm playing against are very much using the event things. That's why they're losing. They're playing with toys, trying to body block or refill tables, instead of doing gens. I had a 30 minute match last night that got down to two people jumping into portals and insthealing every time I landed a hit. They dragged it out, but they still lost. The people who have beat me during the event are the ones sitting on gens with Stakeout and Hylerfocus.
And it's kinda hard to say "use the event stuff" when it seems like most player are picking killers that mostly negate the effects. Something tells me now that the couple days of whining are over killers are doing quite well.
Yes it does make sense in the way that wrong use of the event-stuff doesn't make it less strong don't you think? I have almost 3.6k hours, I know how to outplay a lot of things, but lets be real: I won't win this game if I play on a killer that's not really strong, I also won't win this game if it's eyries and they use it right with the event-stuff, I also won't win this game if I have to loop around and entire jungle jim for 60 seconds. Sure I can leave but for what? They can waste palettes all they won't because they rebuild, so I'm probably stuck on the next loop then, sure I can also go to a gen but oh wonder they preran to the next loop that becomes impossible through the event. The sprintburst is not better and so on.
Rightly used this event simply gives a lot to the survivors to the point where they have all the tools they need. That doesn't mean that they use it right.
Not everyone in this game on the survivor side uses the event wrong, and if they don't it's not even funny how strong it is.

Of course. I'm not saying that they're wrong to do so. They can play how they want. I'm speaking from experience that if you're solo in the event, it's not a free win by any stretch and can actually feel much more difficult than 1v4 because of the general mentality people have had going into this event, and people not getting the value they need from the buffs to offset the lost gen time while collecting morsels.
Readily admit that a good SWF can exploit this event really well, but I think it's not consistent. Bad table RNG can make that hard even for SWFs, while some map/buff combos can be absolutely brutal to certain killers. It says a lot that I'm not even considering playing M1 killers in this mode despite all my most played apart from Springtrap being M1 killers. If OP is making the point that the event is fully in the killer's favour, sure, that's not correct, however compared to how hard people are pushing the idea that the event is that one Jojo beatdown gif with the killer taking the L, the event really isn't that impossible to win on.
My SoloQ escape rate in the event is lower than 1v4.I see what you mean, I'm sure that it's much harder if you're using the event badly. Like I said, I play harder from the start so that I don't fall behind if they use it right, so I can imagine that it's pretty insane to play against that if you don't really use it.
Well op is basically just complaining that people use plaque or legion against the instaheals, that invis has scratchmarks already being wrong, that killers can use portals at all, and that the palette effect is not active enough. As if rebuilding palettes or just build entirely new ones that are industructable for 60 seconds aren't enough - especially because they stay.
I'm not saying that the event makes you lose entirely but he surely doesn't have under 10% escape-rate, he does have the tools and there are definitely people that know how to use them.

SoloQ in the event is really not that strong in pratice, despite the monstrous potential. You get buffs but they're unreliable. The killer's new toy is always consistent because only one person is making the judgement of optimal usage.
That's not to say it's killer sided, but escape has been anything but easy. Gens not getting done, teammates trying to bully and being bad, taking unavoidable hits in chase without seeing table-setting value to offset this until I'm already on hook…
I also think there's a mentality amongst people playing killer in the event. Hearing from all sides that the event is literally impossible to win as killer and that all survivors playing it are going to abuse the strongest elements of the event flawlessly has resulted in some of the most aggressive play-to-win tactics I've seen.I see what you mean, but there are also more people playing swf because of the event and you never know how much they hate you and actually use the event. That alone makes you play way more agressive than you need to sometimes.

So you really don't have any reason to lose in this event
If there's no reason for survivors to lose then are you losing most of your matches as killer in this event?
Absolutely not, but I also don't play a killer like pig or something. Jason has a kit that's relatively good against the event even tho it isn't as insane by now as it was at the start.
Still doesn't change anything about the fact that those effects are absolutely insane, espeacially the global heal that even picks people up lol, the random sprintburst we (op and me) both forgot is also insane, the invincability would be insane with a killer not ranged or speed, the portals are annoying as hell, the palettes you can rebuild even at spots where they never where and also are industructable for 60 seconds are also insane. There is no reason, if they actually use the event.

I've survived less than 10% of my event games as survivor.
Nothing but sweaty slugging, tunneling, trash.
If anything, it's only teaching killers how to take advantage.
Don't like instant heals, use a killer that has a debuf that prevents it.
Don't like survivor mobility, poison negates it.
Don't like invis/(still has scratch marks)/portal (you use the same pathing)/pallets (not really that helpful when it's not active most of the time).
Don't like any ability at all, use Jason.Wow you really don't know what you're talking about.
So first of all, yes the poison is nice, but doesn't even remotely fix the difference of the event abilities.
Second invis doesn't have scratchmarks at all. But you can hear a glow-effect that's directional and see grass moving so if you play spirit turned around you can still hit people.
Third the portals are insanely annoying because you have to cancel your ability to use them as killer. Depends on the killer obviously but as nurse or blight for example you have to be stunned before, same with vecna that has to come out of his upside down or the other vecna that has to cancle flight. Also the portal are always combined with invisibilty as far as I remember so you can use that instantly and following the survivor is insanely hard then if they are far enough - also I think if you activate the big effect they turn you invisible for a few seconds by default.
Forth: my god the palettes are depending on the map the worst thing you can have against you as killer. Just drop both palettes in main at coaltower and the killer literally has to go around half the mainbuilding, or you drop both palettes (yes you can build a second one then) at a jungle jim and suddenly you have to go around the entire jungle jim. In midwich you can even be stuck for 60 seconds in theory if you don't have a teleport or something.
Also anti-heal killers are not really strong most of the time, so who cares. Also people can play against jason by now (at least some) so it's by far not this easy anymore, and the only thing he can really outplay is the invincability (that you didn't even name btw) - and it's not even only him but every rangekiller.
So you really don't have any reason to lose in this event and I honestly don't know what to tell you if your survivalrate really is under 10% except you should probably get better at the game.

Okay, got it. I'll try to do you'r suggestion I just feedback after 400 hour so maybe Devs can balancing some stuff
Yes,its Chinese name speed, instantly heal, locker stun and m1 like machine gun etc.Oh well, I guess people in europe ether cheat less often at the moment then or I'm just really lucky xD
If you have any questions about playing killer I can help you, for survivor also a bit but not that much :D

After playing for around 400 hours, for the survivor side, it feels pretty easy and more on the casual side, but the main issue is probably just with the randomly assigned teammates.
Killer side feeling tired and have to focus a lot, there are so many things to do and I can tell that the game is on the survivors' side. Each person has to be hooked 3 times to die, and there are 4 people.Survivors perk have a lot of second chance and base kit etc.
(I have played time on killer 172h and survivor have 197h)
Another issue is the problem of players who cheat in the game (I'm on the Asia server) and if I dodge, I'll get banned.(q time) What the hell is this? If you don't want to get banned, i just have to play with cheaters? That makes no sense at all.
There are still a lot of things that aren't okay, but I might need more time playing to understand them. But I think I'm done for now.(Sorry for my English my gramma is not good)You will laugh now, but there is a mmr system in any way at least, so it's not even like your teammates should be that random. That being said it gains points through escapes only, so you don't have to be good, just being lucky or simply hide until the end is also sufficiant to get it up as long as you escape lol :D
Also it depends heavely on the killer how stressful it is, I would say singularity is probably the most stressful killer you can play. To the second chance perks you basically have two options: you know them all and you play in a way to not trigger them (doesn't function depending on the survivors regarded to ub, dh and ds as combination as example - they can just body block 2 times for free then) or you just shreed through them. This works best with chasekillers and speed obviously.
Well I play on the european server but I didn't see a cheater in a long time. Do you mean obvious ones with flying and things like that, or do you mean subtle ones with like 2% more speed? xD

So I'm trying to pick up the Trickster after purchasing the discounted Mina skin due to the anniversary store sale, but I find the All-Kill Comeback ver. of Trickster more clunky than the 4.6 m/s trickster with 8 knives per hit.
Is there a cohesive trickster guide? My understanding is that this version of Trickster is trying to reward accuracy vs spamming the knives but what's the whole point of the rank system other than reaching S rank just for Main Event + killer instinct?
You throw and I think also reload faster the higher your rank is. I personally find him much more fun like this than before, but it could also be because I'm a huge fan of the slotmachine sound when you rank up haha xD

The notification bubbles for when a survivor gets hooked, or a louse notification goes through for the killer has been around since I started playing 5 years ago, and I'm assuming has been around pretty much since the beginning of the game. Why on Earth does it cover up everything else on screen? The amount of times I have been on a generator as Survivor, someone gets hooked, the bubble pops up, and I can't see the killer charging across the map for me or lining up a projectile for my face is uncountable. With very limited game engine experience, the simplest solution would be to just make it so that the bubble does not overlay on top of the killer and instead the killer goes on top of the bubble. There might be other ways to fix it, but holy the amount of times I have gotten hit and just going to myself "I couldn't do anything about that because I literally couldn't see" is so infuriating and needs to be fixed.
As far as I remember from discussions a while ago they said it was meant to be this way. But I don't really have a clue why xD

My bad, I thought you said VIII. Whoops!
It's alright, Final Fantasy XIII is really fun for me and the story is also very interesting (although kinda confusing how it starts and the entire things with the fal'cie und l'cie. Don't know if I have to play XII to understand this?). So I will probably play X after the other two games of XIII and then maybe VIII if you recommend it :D

Rock and Stone!
I've been playing some Burglin Gnomes with friends. Outside of that? I've been playing Witchfire, Dead as Disco, and when I feel the urge to sit down and listen to my audiobook while I strain my brain I load up Satisfactory.Mhh I had to google because Final fantasy XIII is the first FF i'm playing. From her looks she is okay, it's not really my cup of tea that she kinda looks like a secretary tho. I obviously can't say anything to her character xD
If I just google I would say out of the box that terra, lucrecia and aerith are really pretty. My favorite of them would probably be terra, then lucrecia and then aerith :D xD

I remember i saw others play final fantasy 7 and stuff ehike groeing up and i couldn't stand turn based games except for pokemon. It wasn't until i found a game called Disciples 2 for like 5$ in some bargain bin for pc games, then i started to enjoy turn based stuff too like heroes of might n magic etc. The only final fantasy i got into was the MMO i think it was 14?
Final Fantasy XIII is not fully turn based. You can attack, use skills or items - attacks need 1 point each, skills different amounts of points. They fill themself up over time so you're kinda turn based, but you could attack anytime in theorie. Same for the enemies. Items are spamable in theorie without any costs I think. Also the people in your group attack automatically but you can choose one skill they do automatically I believe (I'm just in chapter 2 of 13)xD
I only played pokemon alpha saphire and pokemon karmesin, I also purchased ultra moon but didn't really played it yet xD
I also played final fantasy XIV, it's pretty fun, at least in my opinion probably even more than WOW :D

I've been going through the whole (Acclaim) Turok trilogy, remastered by nightdive. Getting all the achievements on steam as ive played them many times on N64 but now they are on pc with achievements. Currently finnished with 1 and 3 and playing through 2 again to get the last 2 achievements (beat the game on hardest difficulty and find all secrets)
Currently the gothic 1 remake and final fantasy XIII because I never played a final fantasy in my live :D

Ugh. If you've been here for even a little while, you've most likely have seen BHVR giving more and more favoritism towards Survivors while leaving Killers behind. No amount of promotional art or whatever can convince me that they actually don't care. I don't need to go on and on and on about how it started. You already know.
The Black Banquet, funnily enough, ripped off BHVR's mask on showing what side they really love. Killers just get a bottle of poison that gives temporary limited stamina bar. Survivors gain things that I'm surprised were fully implemented! Invincibility?! Unbreakable pallets?! This is just unacceptable! And I know that BHVR will implement invincibility and unbreakable pallets into future Survivor perks. Even without those abilities, the most recent Survivor shows the amount of favoritism BHVR has for Survivors rather than Killers. They don't even listen to Youtubers that revolve their content around the game!
They aren't listening, so I propose a deal:Us Killer players and anyone that disagrees with the current state of the game should uninstall the game until enough people get BHVR's attention. We need to spread the word of how unfair this is to the playerbase. We won't get anywhere if we don't something about this. This is something we can do! We need to tell them how we feel! Enough is enough! Killers should be treated the same way as Survivors. Toxic Survivors wanting wins handed to them are ruining the game and we NEED to do something about this!
Share this however you want, as long as we get the point across!
Honestly while I find the poison pretty boring it's actually pretty strong, the abilities almost don't matter except the invisibility (by now I know what to do about it, still annoying) and the portals (combined with the invisibility insane).
Obviously there are differences in servers, times you play, mmr and so on, but for my part I have a pretty good killrate. So I really don't know what you really mean.
I didn't play too much in the last time, but it's really not that bad. Also I play jason mostly, but it's not like I would really struggle with other killers I'm good with so that's not the reason I'm good right now :D

i will be bringing Murky reagent 60% of my games killers are not bringing in cakes when they get like 2x more than survivors
Enjoy the Fog <3
Only thing it does is costing yourself points (you could even use a survivor cake, it's personal and almost even. Also fog doesn't matter at all anyways :D). And while it's really not smart from the killers to not bring cakes I also ask myself why you even care so much, it's such a small thing it's really not worth wasting your time for that xD

I tested this recently and timing was changed to be very precise otherwise Wesker would hit you but right now after Jason patch or bug fix patch there's no timing at all and he hits you every time no matter what, sort of like with the Ghoul not so long ago.
This feature was existent for a very long time and sort of a skill expression, without it Wesker just counters any good pallet and there's nothing you can do, I'm not sure if this is intentional but bring the timing back.https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/BL8CAECQTHQW/wesker.gif
As far as I know it was supposed like that what do you mean? It just didn't really work for ages xD
They finally fixed it, that's all!

I think it's a moral obligation to remind everyone that the current way of diminishing returns being implemented is still bad, and we should yet again voice our dislike for it to not let the Devs be under the false impression that the community suddenly stopped having a problem with it.
With that being said, he's also the simple reminder how it should be done properly:
Diminishing returns should start to diminish exponentially after a certain treshhold, and not being able to succeed a maximum threshold.
For healing that could for example be; Start diminishing at 200% and never exceed 300%
Having a proper implementation for diminishing returns will mean that we will stop randomly stomping builds with smaller buffs that accumulate to a total that's nowhere near a problematic value range. So once again, let's hope that beHaviour settles with the right solution for diminishing returns to that we can truly have maximum build variety for the future health of the game ❤️
(Details on how to implement such a proper diminishing return system are detailed in the post below)
Diminishing Returns & New Perk Keywords — BHVRI honestly forgot that it exists. I mean I guess I'm not really stacking builds very much so that might be also a reason why I don't really think about it xD

It's really weird to me no one talks about the ability to just pretend your going to do something as killer to bait the survivors into doing stupid stuff and it's just little things here and there after so many hours you pick up on that one pallet in rpd you should always respect as killer near the exit gate iykyk pretending your going for the pick up and then just stand there for a second walk up to a pellet and look down at it to pretend your going to kick it theirs more then just red stain mind games you can play with the survivors and the list goes on and on when talking about balance you can't even say let's maybe make a locker break action for simply counterplay to lockers because some people don't know what locker and pallet cj techs are
I think I only saw a locker cj once in my 3.6k hours. Palette cj's are more common and so free to hit or grab, it's funny xD
Also my favorite is probably faking that I vault the window with bamboozle and then just keep running, sometimes people just die because they keep running xD

https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/469078/what-would-you-consider-more-important-as-a-killer
I guess kills, although that's not fully true. I want to win the games at my own conditions and those are 3k with or without door/hatchescapes.
That being said kills get important to me if I see that I won't win this, I try to kill as many people as possible then still.
