Hi i'm new player

After playing for around 400 hours, for the survivor side, it feels pretty easy and more on the casual side, but the main issue is probably just with the randomly assigned teammates.
Killer side feeling tired and have to focus a lot, there are so many things to do and I can tell that the game is on the survivors' side. Each person has to be hooked 3 times to die, and there are 4 people.Survivors perk have a lot of second chance and base kit etc.
(I have played time on killer 172h and survivor have 197h)

Another issue is the problem of players who cheat in the game (I'm on the Asia server) and if I dodge, I'll get banned.(q time) What the hell is this? If you don't want to get banned, i just have to play with cheaters? That makes no sense at all.

There are still a lot of things that aren't okay, but I might need more time playing to understand them..(Sorry for my English my gramma is not good)

You will laugh now, but there is a mmr system in any way at least, so it's not even like your teammates should be that random. That being said it gains points through escapes only, so you don't have to be good, just being lucky or simply hide until the end is also sufficiant to get it up as long as you escape lol :D

Also it depends heavely on the killer how stressful it is, I would say singularity is probably the most stressful killer you can play. To the second chance perks you basically have two options: you know them all and you play in a way to not trigger them (doesn't function depending on the survivors regarded to ub, dh and ds as combination as example - they can just body block 2 times for free then) or you just shreed through them. This works best with chasekillers and speed obviously.

Well I play on the european server but I didn't see a cheater in a long time. Do you mean obvious ones with flying and things like that, or do you mean subtle ones with like 2% more speed? xD

Oh well, I guess people in europe ether cheat less often at the moment then or I'm just really lucky xD

If you have any questions about playing killer I can help you, for survivor also a bit but not that much :D

My current kille rate for last 30 days is 75 %, escape rate is 37 %. Kind of what I expect it to be.

  • DbD is one of few games where a player with 500 hours is still considered a "baby" because it's constantly expanding, perks, chapters etc. Good thing is that you try to understand both sides like you do, to play better as killer you need to understand survivor's POV and vice versa, just keep practicing, DbD does try to switch metas from time to time to keep the game more interactive, but even with meta switches, keep in mind its asymmetrical, that's why other games that tried to do the same eventually just flopped, no matter how much you try one side will always be stronger, practice makes perfect
