  • I had a random solo player flashlight save me 4 times in the same match the other day. Sometimes players with the flashlight mean business.

    This Horror

If you are an avid horror lover then you know in movies only one survivor makes it out alive.Thats the general rule sometimes multiple people survive and that makes you good survivors.

Buck trolls, they complain and complain till the killer is dead ,if they don't want to play the game fudge em go find a new game, your not a real horror enthusiast gtfo.

I don't care that Wesker is strong I want him to throw me across the map if can.I want Michael to run two tombstone' With infinite if he wants.Pinhead can have 80 chain's,I'll break them and still unlock the gate.Nice try cueball

Please stop complaining about killers and let's try to enjoy the best Horror asymmetrical game created, Behaviour you bastards you rock 🤟👩‍🎤

The entity isn't the one playing the killers. Maybe survivors wouldn't complain so much about them if killer mains would stop making it hard to enjoy this game. Camping is not fun. Tunneling is not fun. Slugging is not fun. Super sweaty gen blocking builds are not fun. Stop doing these things and you'll probably see much less complaining.

I wonder why its always refered to as hopels situation when its obvious that both remaining survivors have the same plan:

"Eff gens and the other guy, they suck and i gonna get the easy hatch escape"

They could continue doing gens or help the other guy when slugged for the 4k. But theyre doing the easier thing, wait till the other gets taken out and hop in.

Funny aint it? Survivor allowed to do the easy, more efficient selfish plays but killers are tryhards for camping....

I'm specifically referring to the final survivor situation. I have many matches where I try to do everything for the best possible outcome but my team is nowhere near on the same page as me and then I get left with the burden of RNG hatch.

  • @Seraphor said:

"Closing the hatch should power gates to 50%"

That's what Sole Survivor and Wake Up are for. If this was 'basekit', there would be no point in going for the hatch as a survivor, which in turn would mean there's no point in closing the hatch as killer, because it would be a guaranteed gate escape. So killers would just camp the hatch and give the survivor no choice.

Several perks are only useful in certain situations. We can't tell what the outcome of any given match will be so planning around a "what if" situation is impossible. Yea I could play those perks more often, and I probably will now, but locking my build behind "what if" situations gets stale. Closing the hatch should have some kind of effect on the exit gates. As I said in another reply, it can be conditional and the progress can be determined by several factors from the match. These are just ideas and I'd be curious to see other ideas for this also.

Kate comes close to be fair. She looks the part of the blonde bimbo that gets shanked in a slasher film first.

No way! Kate is definitely the one who survives in a horror movie. She reminds me of Erin from Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2003.

Inspired by Pixel Bush's recent statement and the response it got, but informed by a now long history of debate on this issue. People say that the new survivor is clearly tailored to be drooled over to the point of ignoring his actual history and origin in favor of modern fashions and so on, that Haddie's relative failure means BHVR is now entirely focused on making survivors that people want to have relations with, and that it has gone beyond the isolated environment of the spinoff to now infect the main game, destroying what little semblance of horror aesthetic is left. Also, characters like Claudette get outfits that don't at all fit their reserved personalities.

What do YOU think? Do you still want more daddy Ghostface, David, and revealing Kate skins? Or has it all gone all too far? Post your favorite Feng bikini cosmetic ideas as well.

It doesn't destroy the semblance of the horror aesthetic because its literally part of it. I don't know if you've ever watched horror movies before but sex appeal is like a main theme in a lot of them. Its very marketable so it should be no surprise a horror themed game has this in it. If the next 5 survivors were just very generic in appearance I can promise you a lore tab isn't going to make the masses flock to them. There's nothing really to debate on this "issue" because it isn't an issue. Beauty sells and it will always be one of the most marketable things in entertainment, especially in gaming.

  • @Entitled_survivor said:

Lmao no, hatch is already good enough, no one deserves free escapes

It isn't a free escape just because you think its one. A "free escape" would mean the killer gives up, does nothing, and allows the survivor to escape through either the hatch or door. If you don't realize that then you're already not putting much thought into this. The whole point of this post is about fairness and balance. If you want to talk about who deserves what then I can argue the killer doesn't deserve the 4k because the 3k was handed to them and the last survivor actually tried to play the game. Throwing the last survivor into a static situation regardless of match outcome is not fair. A race to the hatch is never fair. Its entirely RNG and unless it spawns near you then you're probably going to die. Your efforts during the match should benefit you in some way if you're the last survivor. All the killer has to do with the last survivor after the hatch is closed is find them. Once that happens you're not opening the door. So if the hatch spawns 10 feet away from the killer, how is that fair? It isn't and that is the point of this post. It also wouldn't be fair for it to spawn 10 feet from the survivor at the end. So in my opinion the last survivor situation needs to change. The race to the hatch is annoying and stressful. If you don't find it within a few seconds you're probably not going to find it first. RNG shouldn't be a deciding factor for the last survivor.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3262014#Comment_3262014

I don't care how many hours you have, the 50% idea would literally cause a survivor to hide in the locker nearest a door, wait for the hatch slam, and then get an 8 seconds door timer. That's a hard no.

I've spectated hundreds of last survivors in this game and it feels like half the people who play don't even know what the hatch is. Also these are just suggestions and the 50% idea doesn't have to go without conditions. For example, door progress can be based upon how many generators were (or weren't) completed and how quickly the other 3 survivors were eliminated. In that case, you wouldn't always get 50%, but the idea would be to balance out the situation for the last survivor instead of it always being a static situation regardless of what happened during the match.

Having it always come down to a hatch chase will always favor the killer given the speed difference. The rest is up to RNG which factors in nothing from the match other than a hatch offering. Survivors run out of things to work with far too quickly and too often am I left feeling like I'm being punished for the failure of my team.

    @foodie said:

Finding the hatch is very much luck sided on both ends. Killers move faster and their presence may cause the last survivor to not go anywhere near the killer's location. Very often I see killers find the hatch within 2 seconds of the third survivor dying. They put no effort in it and if a survivor goes for the gate chances are they will be found and they won't be able to open the gates.

The system heavily rewards the killer for this even when the killer has played poorly but only won due to the survivors bad decision-making. Solo players get punished as always.

What works more often as survivor is just going to the gates directly before the hatch is closed and wait.

    Exactly!

  • @Malkhrim said:

Exit gates powered to 50% would be WAY too easy to escape. Are you the last survivor? Hide right by and exit gate and immediatly start working on it when endgame colapse starts. Voilá, you got away for free. A key spawning at random would also put the killer at a disavantage, having to patrol both exit gates and the hatch, even after ALREADY having completed the step of finding the hatch. Want a second chance for the hatch? Bring the key yourself. The hatch is there to give the last survivor a chance, not an advantage over the killer.

The hatch is fine for the last survivor. If anything, the hatch change made harder for the killer to prevent a hatch escape. Before then the killer could slug until they found the hatch, then sacrifice the slugged survivor, go back to the hatch and close it. Even if both killer and survivor reached the hatch at the same time, the killer could close it BEFORE the survivor could jump. The killer doesn't have this advantage if nobody knows where the hatch is. The positive change made for killers was that it made so keys weren't broken and uncounterable anymore, that was perfect and should remain that way.

I have 2,322 hours played in this game as survivor. I have never been able to hide by the exit gate and open it in time before the killer got there after closing the hatch. "Got away for free" is a myth among killer mains when the last survivor just so happens to beat the odds and escape. Keys now are largely useless. To get any value from a hatch key now you have to be the last survivor and find the hatch before the killer finds you after its closed. I can't play a key every match as a backup plan in case I am the last survivor. At that point it basically becomes a BP dump because you're playing it hoping you won't die or lose it before it can even be used.

I know survivor is a team game, but often times I don't really have a team and end up being punished for other people's failures. The killer is then rewarded further from your hopeless situation. It sucks when you're giving your all and your team is giving 1/10th of what you're giving and you end up paying for it. The current end game for the last survivor feels unbalanced and unfair.

  • Its not an exploit. Its called playing the game. Also I'm pretty sure there is at least 1 hook up those stairs somewhere in the center building.

Let me tell you why she is getting too much cosmetics.

So recently she got a princess heart one with the silent hill collection. Also she got a cosmetic from Jill's uniform from the resident evil project w collection. And then this year we got tons of cosmetics from Feng and it's like very annoying how they just get these cosmetics but what about other people like Haddie or even survivors like Yui?

First off BHVR just want her to get these cosmetics even though they let down Haddie and even Jeff. Plus there are tons of survivors that fits some cosmetics but they seem to forget them and just say "Have a Feng cosmetic" Like we wanna buy that like, I'm not a Feng hater but I'm just saying that she gets way too much cosmetics. Even two crossovers apparently this year for Feng.

BHVR just don't wanna admit that they let down every survivor on the list on DBD like Jeff and Haddie even though they coulda have been better on sending cosmetics.

Well, if Haddie and Jeff were as popular as Feng I'm sure they'd get more cosmetics also. You're looking at this from the wrong perspective. They could give Haddie all the cosmetics in the world but it won't make her as popular as Feng. Marketers focus on what sells. It wouldn't make sense for them to focus on the least popular survivors to try to sell cosmetics for when its the most popular that players will be more willing to buy cosmetics for. Sure there are players who would buy new things for Jeff, Haddie and other survivors but the reality is survivors like Feng, Kate and Yui would sell a lot more due to their popularity. They're not "letting down" Haddie and Jeff. All they can do is develop new survivors and see how well they are received. Some will be received much better than others and the ones that are better received are more likely to make them more profit due to their marketability.

the equal attention feng knock off copy would sell even better 🙄

You're probably not wrong, though I think Kate would be a better pick. 😉 Too bad she doesn't have a cosplay collection like Feng.

  • Tribal Sheva would sell like crazy.

  • Franklin's Demise is that perk that annoys the hell out of survivors more than almost all of the others. By the time you get back to your item, if you're even able to, the charges are mostly if not all gone and at best you get to keep your item IF you escape. I think this perk should only disable the use of your item for a duration instead of making you drop it.

  • I've broken all of these commandments and I will never repent.

  • I didn't want to make another thread about the same bugs so figured I would just reply to the one I made about them awhile back.

Kate's slit leather skirt and all of her jorts sit higher on her waist than they used to. They've been like this since last January. Hope this can be fixed before the year is over.

  • The entity is a huge Resident Evil fan obviously.

  • I think a lot of DCs happen due to hopeless situations for the survivors or situations they may feel is too much to deal with to turn the situation around. The whole "why bother" attitude kicks in and people would just rather wait a few minutes than deal with a stressful situation. Survivors still have to deal with all 5 generators regardless of what happens in the match. This is why the hatch change never should've happened. Those hopeless situations were mitigated by the option to escape the trial through the hatch if you met the hatch condition. I had a lot of matches in the past where the killer had simply won and the only chance for the last remaining survivors was to escape through the hatch with a key. When 1-2 survivors are dead, 5 gens are up and the killer is already at max power you're just waiting for the inevitable loss to happen.

  • I think it was a thing during the Resident Evil chapters, right? I know back in the day when you played a Resident Evil game there would be a voice line of the title of the RE game you were playing when you pressed start. It was a pretty cool reference.

Well it is a big deal for me, both Feng cosplay outfits look out of place in the game. That's my subjective opinion. It ruins my immersion. If I see Cheryl in it, okay I might feel have a little sick in my throat, but it's manageable. We have different standards. That's fine. For every one of me, there are probably 20 whales who will buy the skin on Feng.

The game can still be immersive while having cute skins like the Princess Heart one. We're talking about a game who's reality revolves around a cosmic space monster snatching people into a realm beyond their knowing. I don't think offering a cute skin now and then is going to ruin that. They also do annual holiday events that offer silly fun things to do like smashing pumpkins and walking around in snowman costumes.

You can blame a business for lowering its standards. But I'm sure the whales will keep it going. I will just play other games.

Sounds like a bit of an overreaction to something that is not a big deal. I'm not really sure why you're this upset, especially to the extent you would quit the game over it. I don't see this as lowering standards by any means. We're talking about the same developers who have made community designed skins and offered them for free in the free version of the battle pass. They've made a lot of cosmetics you can unlock for free just by playing the game as well as all unlicensed characters. They didn't have to do all that. They could've made everything cost auric cells but they didn't. I think you're being too harsh about this. Feng is a popular character so it makes sense that their focus would gravitate towards her for ideas to further monetize off her popularity with the community.

Giving Feng cosplay just cheapens the original cosmetics. I want BHVR to be creative with some 'tegrity not milking a cash cow.

I think its fine. Its a fun idea that a lot of Feng mains will enjoy. Also you can't blame a business for milking a cash cow when their goal is to make money.

  • @Massquwatt said:

Like a lot of people say it just cheapens the whole outfit for Cheryl like she wasn't good enough to have the outfit on her own so Feng has to get one to make up for the sales of the former. Instead of giving a cheap magical girl cosplay to Feng they should've just given a cheap magical girl cosplay to Pyramid Head.

Cheryl is one of if not the most iconic character from Silent Hill. She doesn't need Feng to increase sales of this cosmetic for her. Giving Feng this cosmetic doesn't hinder the value of it to those who want it for Cheryl. Its just something extra for Feng that will appeal to Feng players who may or may not be Silent Hill fans. I think a lot of players will get Fengs Princess Heart cosplay outfit just because they like the way it looks. I hope they continue Feng's cosplay collection and expand it even further to perhaps killer cosplays too.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3255074#Comment_3255074

A strange thing to be negative about? If you can't understand why people resent BHVR's clear favorite, who gets a constant stream of content to the direct exclusion of some twenty other characters, and to the point where unrelated licensed characters can't get something nice without Feng horning in... I don't know what to tell you.

What I want is obvious. Feng has gotten 8 new skins since my main last got one. I want to see a little more balance from the cosmetic department and less of this insane one-sidedness. But it's not going to happen, so I'm just going to voice my dislike of this state of affairs. And if they won't stop churning out Feng outfits twice every quarter, I hope they at least stop doing this cosplay double-dipping, because it's a lazy tactic that cheapens both the lore and the actual cosmetic involved. Like I said earlier, it's just sad seeing a Silent Hill collection and having it be Cheryl and Feng instead of Cheryl and PH.

Well if 100,000 people are going to buy a new Feng outfit and only 1000 buy a new outfit for another survivor then just from a financial perspective it makes sense to focus on the money maker. That's just an example as I don't know what the actual numbers are in cosmetic sales from character to character. I do know in my experience playing the game there clearly are certain survivors that are played way more than others such as Feng, Kate and Yui so it doesn't surprise me to see a cosmetic focus more towards characters like that than others. I know there are mains for less played characters out there, but its not going to cause them to be focused on as much as the money makers. They may get something new from time to time, but at the end of the day the only thing that matters is where the money is. They have bills to pay, employees, business expenses, etc. on top of also wanting to profit from their time and work put into a project like DBD.

I have enough shards saved up just from playing the game to buy every survivor I don't currently own (which is about half the roster). I'm not going to do that because I have no interest in those survivors at all. Those are survivors I'll never spend real money on. When they release anything for characters I don't own it doesn't mean anything to me. I don't even buy all of the stuff for the survivors I do own or the ones I play the most. The cosmetic has to be for someone I play and it has to interest me before I buy it. So for customers like me, the appeal has to be specific to what I'm interested in. I imagine they look at all kinds of data to determine what could potentially produce a lot of sales. The data for Feng undoubtedly shows she's very popular and sells a lot of cosmetics for her which would explain the focus of a unique themed cosmetic line for her like the cosplay skins. You gotta look at it from a marketing perspective to understand trends like this. What we personally want doesn't matter, unless enough people want a certain thing and they respond to that interest.

  • @Laluzi said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3254924#Comment_3254924

What about this thread was a suggestion? People can complain about stuff that you don't agree with. I'm allowed to post my opinion, and evidently it seems I'm not the only person who thinks this is trend is ridiculous and cheap.

Besides, you know just as well as I do that asking for more skins for other characters in the suggestions forum is pointless. This is absolutely a matter of revenue and I only have the voting power of one wallet. They're not going to pull resources out of the Feng lineup and allocate them to Plague or Jane because I asked nicely.

Yea, you can criticize their decisions here and I can criticize your criticism. What do you want them to do? Spend the next 3 months making cosmetics for characters that no one will buy? This is a non issue. There is no reason to be upset about this. Feng is very popular. She's a very marketable character. Skins like this will sell and I've already seen a lot of people very happy about it. You're right. It is about revenue. What is wrong with that? They're trying to make money. They are a business after all selling entertainment. Some things they have made simply are more popular than others and are more marketable. Its just a strange thing to me to be negative about.

Its all about the numbers at the end of the day.

    @Aurelle said:

I love that we're finally getting Princess Heart for Cheryl, but Feng doesn't need a Princess Heart "Cosplay" too. Her "cosplays" are only made so they can get more money.

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/96DKQO0SMEA4/image.png

Okay, Feng getting another licensed character's new outfit once was funny, but at this point it's getting a little sad. We know she's a cash cow, BHVR, you don't gotta be so obvious about it.

I'm thrilled about getting Princess Heart for Cheryl, and her first outfit in two years is some good food for Silent Hill fans, but c'mon. Is this just how it's going to be now? Feng Min 'cosplays' every new female outfit that looks like it might sell well?

You mentioned that Feng is a "cash cow" and then complain about something that is done for the sake of profit. There is nothing wrong with this. If they were going to pick a character that has cosplay themed outfits then Feng is the best pick for it. This is a win for them and a win for Feng mains that love skins like this. I don't see what the problem is here or rather the problem you have with it. Just buy the skins you want and if you want to see more skins for other characters there is a feedback forum here you can request that in. I think they should make more cosplay themed skins for Feng because there is no downside to it and Feng is very popular.

I think it's best not to specify the sexuality of video game characters, but if you feel represented by her that's 100% fine.

with Yui I am afraid that specifying her sexualization could obscure the real point of her Lore, which is that of a strong woman who fights for her rights, against stereotypes and against abuse.

All women should be able to feel represented by Yui, not just a category and therefore not defining her sexuality would be best, so that all women (straight or members of the LGBTQ + community) can feel represented.

Yui is a very cool character. I remember when her chapter released I was excited to buy it and play against the Oni using her. The great thing about Yui is that she appeals to a lot of people as she is right now. She looks awesome. She's beautiful. She rides motorcycles. She has a fearless "bring it on" attitude. She's just an all around amazing character that everyone loves. Making characters like this is always a win. Specifying a character's sexuality risks lowering the character's appeal to potential customers. Leaving things like this ambiguous allows that appeal to be more diverse in who the character could potentially generate profit from.

  • I think Yui is iconic to almost everybody that plays DBD.

What a strange rebuttal. Artists don't receive direct funds based on each skin they sell. Furthermore it's not like free to play games just deny access to players for random reasons. My point was that the game could be doing much better. In direct comparison to games like Warframe that essentially have one avenue of monetization, DBD is basically a rip off IMO. I also think it's fair to sell additional content but $15 skins with limited customization options is absurd in conjuction with the base game price and the inflating price of owning every DLC.

I do think the linked skins should be customizable. I also wouldn't be against them coming with more options such as a color palette to customize them further. Could DBD be doing better with how they monetize the game? Yea, but I think the same can be said for all games. I think what has happened in the gaming community is that we have seen such a diverse approach to monetization that people lean more towards their preference and then try to argue it as "the way." I personally don't care all that much how any gaming company decides to monetize their work. Video games are non essential. We don't need them. They exist for our entertainment. I keep seeing this trend of wanting more for less which all comes at the expense of real people having to use their time to meet the demands of the consumer. I do think artists should receive residuals for the content they create and then is sold within the games they work on. Either way, selling cosmetics in a game helps keep companies in profit, which keeps the lights on at the office and developers employed.

  • He does look really cool. I think they did a very good job designing him.

  • This kind of criticism of monetization is just strange to me. First, you pay a 1 time fee and can play the game for the rest of your life or until it doesn't exist anymore. I think that is a pretty good deal. You can unlock a lot more content for free just by playing the game. I'm actually surprised not more stuff in the shop is auric cells only because profit from selling the game alone only goes so far. Battle passes are good because it allows you to pay a 1 time fee for multiple rewards that could've otherwise been thrown into the shop and sold separately. Everything extra offered for each character is just that, extra. I think its great that developers can create new things for the games they work on and sell them. I wouldn't like to be an artist and paint one masterpiece to sell then offer everything else I do in my career for free. I feel like this is just people having different values and feeling like more should be offered for less. No it shouldn't. Players should be thankful that anything at all is able to be obtained for free just by playing the game. When you bought the game you didn't buy special access to everything that will be made available to any character you decide to play for the duration of your play time of the game. You bought the base game. Thats it. Nothing more. You want that cool shiny legendary outfit for your favorite survivor? Then buy it and support the people who spent their time to make it for your entertainment.

People playing survivors, does anyone else rush for a save when they see a first hooked survivor doing a triple pull to try and die? Like if I can get to them before second stage, great, but I at least want to get to them before they die so they are forced to either play, wait, or dc.

Killers- if you see someone do this do you kill them or make them play/dc. I am now beginning to think the best thing I can do with these players if they refuse to play is slug them. It gives other survivors a chance to get altruism/benevolence points and forces a makeshift dc penalty. (this of course is if its an early give up. If there are two survivors left or something like that I mercy kill). The only think I cant stand tho is if they let themselves get to crow stage, the explosions are so annoying.

Nope. They might d/c anyway if you do and probably don't want to be in the match anyway. That player being in the match isn't going to increase your chances of escaping, so just let them be.

  • I've been having a blast with OW 2. It honestly doesn't feel much different being 5v5 now. Tanks are a lot more fun to play. I feel like I can take on the whole team if I have a pocket healer playing as Orisa. Healing feels a bit rough in the game now but as long as you have a half way decent team its not so bad. The new hero Kiriko is so cool. Her cinematic announcement was amazing and she's super fun to play. I've played a few matches as Junker Queen and she's pretty fun but takes some getting used to. I haven't tried Sojourn yet but playing against her I can tell she is a really good dps hero. I completed the battle pass a few days ago and unlocked the mythic Genji skin. I don't really play him but the skin is insanely epic. It makes me excited to see what mythic skins they will make for other characters in the future. All in all, the game is super fun.

Some hard bias here. bm is harmless banter. Hitting survivors on the hook literally harms nothing. If anything it just wastes the killers time. The point of the post is to point out that all forms of bm should be treated the same. In game banter. As someone else has already said just alt tab or walk away for a bit. We've all been there being smacked on the hook. Its silly not harmful.

It does wastes the killer's time so in that sense it can be seen as a win and an own for the other survivors. For the survivor being hit however it makes for a terrible experience because they can't do anything back. BM is harmless banter and I do think most of it is just players trying to have fun with each other. This particular form however is different in my opinion. Its like kicking someone when they're down. In all other things I've seen people do in the game, both sides had equal opportunity to respond and I think that is where it matters most. I will say I have had a few encounters of me being hit on the hook and I thought to myself "yea I deserve this" because I gave the killer the most trouble. At the end of the match we'd laugh and say GG. However most of the time in my experience it happens for no reason at all and the killer was just wanting to make people mad.

So it's fine for survivor's to bm the killer which is something out of the gameplay loop but not for killer's. Obviously killer can sit there and do it for a while, but guess what? Survivor's can just alt tab and killer's have to continue to play the game as someone throws every pallet on the map and tea bags. It's a double standard, both side's are capable of in game toxicity and you are biased to your one side. The equivalent of a killer hitting a survivor on hook is survivor's tea bagging at the exit gate or simply waiting for the killer to force them out without any threat to their teammates, there is nothing the killer can do and the survivor's are just gloating about their win.

If you read my post, which you either didn't or just ignored most of it, you would see where I said, "As long as survivor/killler interaction is able to happen then I think everything else is fine." So no, I didn't say its fine for survivors to bad mouth the killer but not the killer to the survivor. I said both of them can do it so long as both are able to interact with each other. When you down a survivor and put them on a hook, you won that interaction. Hitting them on the hook is a means for the killer to be a jerk to the survivor while they can't do anything back. Its very unsportsmanlike. The only thing you're doing hitting a survivor when they're on a hook is showing how toxic you are, which is probably going to lead to an altercation in the post game chat. If you get so triggered by a survivor that you have to stand there and hit them repeatedly on a hook for something they did to you then thats probably a good sign you need to take a break from this game.

  • You'll complete this challenge just by playing the game. Most of the generators I complete are pretty much right in the killer's face. I would focus on generators inside buildings and houses where you are more hidden and likely to be in the terror radius without being in plain sight.

  • The cosplay skin for Feng reflects her character and her being a gamer. Its not meant to imply she's cosplaying people inbetween being hunted down by a killer. From a story perspective, the survivors have on whatever they had when the entity took them. The last thing they're thinking about is what to wear for the next trial.

  • The problem with hitting a survivor on a hook is that they can't do anything back. You got them on the hook, thats enough. You don't need to hit them while they're down even more. I've had killers hit me on the hook for the entirety of the hook timer. They didn't care to win. They only cared to be toxic. As long as survivor/killler interaction is able to happen then I think everything else is fine but when you're on the hook and can't do anything but hang there and watch your character get hit over and over again, that needs to stop.

  • I agree keys are pretty much useless now. I avoid them like the plague in the blood web. If I only get to use it being the last survivor and the hatch being closed before I get to it then I really don't care to bother.

  • What...?

You have enough perks to give you more visibility than the eye of Sauron plus you can hear survivor grunts of pain after the first hit and still you want more ways to find us? This is a big No in my opinion. Survivors being able to hide is a fundamental part of the game.

  • This is freaking awesome! I've never seen a Spirit cosplay before. You even have the arm separation effect too. This is just all around incredible. Well done 10/10! 👍️

  • I love this idea! I also think a way for players to trade items with each other outside of matches would be a good idea too.

  • I'd buy a legendary Kate skin if I felt it was worth the money. Making it limited time would just make it more unique and valuable to me. I'd want it to be cool with special effects and customization options.

  • I think if Jason ever did come to DBD he could be the scariest killer in the game if they did it right. No terror radius and have an ability where he's able to teleport near or even behind survivors. Just seeing Jason standing still in random places would be terrifying. Maybe even work that into how he plays. The map should be camp crystal lake of course.

As for survivors, I really don't know. Its been so long since I've seen the movies so I don't really remember them too well. Since there are so many to choose from I would say maybe have the chapter come with 2 survivors with 1 being from the original 1980 film and the other from the 2009 reboot.

I agree some outfits doesn't fit, specially the more meme ones like the new Dwight cosmetic, but a dance in a game based on a slasher in which a killer wants to kill you is way too much anti-immersive imo.

Play DBD with 3 drunken friends and you'll have a whole new perspective on immersion in this game. 😂
