Since the DBD X FNAF announcement was made less than 24 hours ago the post has received more than 25 MILLION views. This is very good news as it shows the amount of hype and anticipation people have for this franchise and its eventual arrival into DBD's world. This is going to be by far the biggest chapter in DBD's history. I've wanted FNAF to come to DBD for a long time and wasn't sure if it eve36 comments 1,405 views last activity

I just wanted to say WELL DONE on the Tome 20 Mythic rift. This is by far the best rift you guys have created. Please keep going with the same passion and creative vision you put into this one for future works. The Spirit, Yui and Sable Ward outfits are my favorites, but the whole thing is incredible. Big round of applause for everyone that worked on this!17 comments 323 views last activity

Killer players are starting to use bots to find the last survivor. If there are 2 survivors left and 1 is a bot, the killer can ignore the bot and engage it at random to keep it from doing gens. They don't down the bots. They just keep them off generators long enough to find the last survivor. This forces the last survivor to attempt to repair every generator and somehow manage to evade the kille41 comments 802 views last activity

Playing against Myers has become a boring and annoying experience for me. Every match you have to assume the tombstone addon is being used until you're certain its not. My stance on addons for every killer is that an addon should not be so powerful that it essentially acts as a second power for the killer. Well, this addon is that and more. Its an unconditional kill ability once it activates. No0 comments 41 views last activity

Getting pips in red rank as survivor is not easy. If you don't interact with the killer during the entire match you don't get any points in Evader. Well, I "evaded" the killer the entire match and wasn't even hit once. This resulted in me being rewarded with absolutely nothing in Evader. I think Evader should progress based on how long you actually do avoid interaction with the killer. If you esc28 comments 552 views last activity

Any chance we could get this style shirt for Sable Ward? I know these are reserved for twitch streamers but I would be interested in having this style added to the game with maybe a few different colors to choose from. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KIWksNyHhNo2 comments 152 views last activity

Yep. I'm a survivor main asking for the addition of exit gate regression. Why? Because I don't want to die at a 99% exit gate again because someone thought it would be a good idea to keep the only way out closed. There is absolutely no reason whatsoever to EVER 99 an exit gate. You get plenty of time to deal with any end game collapse situation once the gate is opened. The longer those gates are12 comments 202 views last activity

I'll never understand what compels someone to play a video game like this. I had a match where the killer decided they didn't want to hook anyone anymore after hooking the first survivor except for 1 other hook which I assume was just used for bait so the killer could do what they really wanted to do. The killer tunneled the first survivor out of the match and then proceeded to take the rest of u42 comments 1,041 views last activity

As the title says, this is just tiresome and boring at this point. I don't fully understand the new killer's abilities yet but what I do know is that like many of the other recent killers pallets offer little value and distance serves almost no purpose. I throw a pallet and this new killer still hits me. I make distance between this killer and get hit from a spell a mile away. I'm just over it. I39 comments 1,251 views last activity

Every time I start a match and notice the killer focus on a single survivor until they are eliminated I just want to quit this game, and probably the tunneled survivor too. I am talking about the absolute worst kind of tunneling where the killer won't even attack any other survivor but completely focus on one player until they are eliminated. Nothing the other survivors do can stop this. Watching22 comments 331 views last activity

I've had too many matches where I am the last survivor, get downed and the killer just refuses to hook me. They'll stand over my character's body nodding endlessly until the bleed out timer is done or sometimes just before its done then pick me up and waste my time even further. If I leave, I am punished for it and that is a problem. Simple suggestion to fix this. If you're the last survivor and6 comments 161 views last activity

I have seen this cosmetic combination the most out of all of them today. You would think its her default look with how many people are using these cosmetics together. Sable has quickly become a rising superstar in DBD and I think she's easily going to be one of the most played survivors in the game. So, to all the new Sable mains out there come show off your outfit combos you're currently using f25 comments 9,775 views last activity

The new killer has too much control over chases. The fact this killer can teleport around and down you with a ranged splash damage attack makes chases completely unfair against this killer. His ranged power should not be able to down you. Being able to injure you is fine, but the fact this ability can also down you is too much power to deal with. This is always the problem with new killers. They50 comments 3,283 views last activity

I know its reset day but every single match for me has been nothing but an absolute slaughterfest. Everyone is using the unknown and they're playing like they have years of experience with this killer. Every match is a 4k with no gens completed. Time and time again the constant situation in this game seems to be perks that give killers way too much late game advantage. Avoiding being hooked the entire match only goes so far when half your team is eliminated. If you're in a situation where there are 2 survivors left and only 1 gen left to do you can pretty much call it game over if one of you gets hooked for the first time. The new survivor is cool as hell and the killer looks really scary! So far this is looking to be the best original chapter we've gotten. The fact its also coming with a new map has me really excited too. I think Sable is going to be received really well and become one of the top played survivors very fast. The new killer is straight up nightmare fuel which is exactly what this game needs. All aro7 comments 531 views last activity

At the very end of my match I pallet stunned a killer which then transferred obsession to me. I didn't have it the entire match. There is no way of knowing the killer has rancor in this situation. This is part of the endless balance issues in this game, in that too much of it comes down to RNG and just plain randomness in general. It also makes the ranking system in this game pointless. The survivor experience in this game is absolutely terrible. I cannot believe that over 7 years into this game killers can still slug the third survivor and look for the 4th without consequence unless the slugged survivor has a self pickup perk (they probably don't). Killers should be punished severely for doing this. Slugging in this game is toxic and completely ruins the survivor experience. Su63 comments 2,323 views last activity

This would only benefit the last survivor if they have a key and would give more reasons for survivors to use keys. Ever since the hatch was nerfed keys have basically become dust collectors for survivors. They only work for the last survivor and only if the hatch is closed and you can find it before the killer finds you. This killer has way too much chase control. Pallets do nothing to stop him. Running does nothing but slightly delay your down unless some kind of massive obstacle gets placed between you and this killer. He can spam throw knives so fast that you can't do anything to dodge them. Moving left or right while running does nothing. Do his knives even have fall off? It doesn't seem like it. Just a simple suggestion and solution to a long time problem in the game. When a survivor enters a locker with a perk that activates upon entering a locker have an image of that perk (or perks) displayed on the locker that the other survivors can see. This will allow survivors to know when someone is using a locker to activate a perk. Too often do survivors give away the location of another survi0 comments 11 views last activity

I can't tell you how many times I have had someone on my team spam point at my locker or spam open it after going in while using the perk inner strength. I feel like I am the only person in the world who knows about this perk. I made it a part of my build a long time ago because I feel like it is one of the more powerful and beneficial survivor perks. So I just had another wonderful slugfest match where the killer was hell bent on getting 4 tombstone kills. After 2 survivors were tombstoned, the killer proceeded to do everything in their power to try and get me and the other survivor. They did not succeed but it came at the cost of having to wait out not only the extremely long bleed out timer, but also being carried around by the killer with13 comments 211 views last activity

Alone these perks are overpowered enough as it is and both need to be changed. Using these 2 perks together is beyond overkill. If the killer has max tokens for both of these perks and you're the last survivor then its game over. Not only do you have to wait 60 seconds for No Way Out to deactivate (all the while letting the killer know exactly which exit gate you're at) but you then also have 2438 comments 1,461 views last activity

I heard about this game recently and wanted to share it here in case anyone else may be interested in a 90's inspired classic survival horror game. A demo for the game just went live on Steam today that you can play from now until October 16th. I played it earlier and had a lot fun with it. It really does have that nostalgic experience especially if you're a Resident Evil fan from back in the day0 comments 221 views last activity

Tunneling continues to be a problem in DBD despite all that has been done to mitigate it. Killers still do it which shows what has been done isn't enough. All they do now is wait out the unhook protections. They are so good at it now its as if they have it perfectly timed in their mind. I have always been of the opinion that tunneling is one of the most detrimental things in this game to the surv84 comments 2,114 views last activity

Almost every legion I have been playing against lately is abusing the feral slash ability by canceling it right after hitting a survivor and tunneling them down. This forces the survivor to stay in the deep wound effect leaving no opportunity to mend. You're forced to do nothing but run until you go down from either deep wounds or the legion hitting you again. This is very exploitive and complete21 comments 413 views last activity

Killers have too much control in unhooking situations. Healthy survivors should be immune to hook grabs. Survivors can already be grabbed from generators, totems and lockers in any health state. Being able to do this while unhooking a survivor gives the killer too much power. Camping and proxy camping has become too common in the game. Faking the unhook is nearly impossible and killers should not6 comments 111 views last activity

Survivor players in DBD, PLEASE learn how to read your situations better. This happened on the RPD map against a ghost face with devour hope. When you're the last survivor this perk is simply too powerful. You have to play every match assuming this perk is being used and try to interact with the exit gates as soon as possible if the killer finds the hatch first. Doing this though is basically handing the match to the killer because for some reason this perk notifies the killer that you're in that area making it that much easier to find13 comments 271 views last activity

The trickster's power advantage on outdoor maps as opposed to indoor maps is massively different. On outdoor maps it seems almost impossible to avoid being hit by his knives. I've even been downed by the knives before the sprint burst was over from the first wounded state. He simply throws them too fast. Trying to dodge them in the open feels pointless most of the time when he can just spam them16 comments 582 views last activity

I like the anti camping mechanic that was mentioned during the anniversary stream. I think something similar for slugging would be effective and fair. If the killer stays near a downed survivor for too long then a progress bar begins to fill that will eventually allow the downed survivor to pick themselves up. If the killer is a significant distance away then other survivors will need to pick the4 comments 71 views last activity

I always wait to try a self unhook until the bar is close to reaching the 2nd hook stage. I just had a match where I unhooked myself just before going into 2nd stage but then my hook number updated to show 2 instead of 1. I'm guessing the bar doesn't stop progressing as you're attempting to unhook yourself. I got downed again and when I was hooked I didn't get instantly eliminated. There are far too many players in this game that simply do not know how to read a situation. I have been unhooked too many times in situations that had no other outcome but to favor the killer completely. One of the most common situations I will see is there being 2 survivors left, 2+ generators left to do, 1 survivor is hooked and despite the fact the hooked survivor is trying to help the last s4 comments 61 views last activity

An example of a killer having too much late game power is the Artist when 2 survivors have been eliminated. I had a match where there was 1 generator left to do and half my team had been eliminated. Because killers can see generator auras the Artist was able to constantly keep us off the generators simply by using her power from long distances targeting all of the generators. I think its time for survivors to get a more effective way to dodge killer attacks. Spin dodging is difficult to do against players who are half way decent at the game and even when you do dodge an attack you gain almost nothing without there being something very close to block the distance between you and the killer such as a window or pallet. Its one thing to leave a survivor on the ground for a moment while you engage another one you saw nearby, but when you leave the last 2 survivors on the ground for an entire bleedout knowing there is absolutely nothing they can do about it then that is when slugging becomes a problem. I'm currently sitting in gold rank and my experience for matchmaking in this rank and the previous rank has felt very inconsistent. When I'm the last survivor I'll do my best to escape but sometimes the killer finds and downs me first. At that point I don't try to wiggle. I've played this game long enough to know a hopeless situation when I see one. When there are 2 gens left to do, the 3rd survivor is on their 2nd hook and you're the last one who is on your death hook and injured then you're both probably not escaping. I have had way too many matches where the killer just simply knows where I am despite me running perks like sole survivor, quick and quiet, iron will (which should have never been nerfed to 75%), etc. I have matches where I have sole survivor at 3 stacks, hiding in a locker on the other side of the map from the 3rd hooked survivor and the killer goes straight to my location. This is just too much. A single killer perk all but guarantees the killer wins the match and the survivors have no way of knowing the killer has this perk until the exit gates are blocked.
