well. I kinda agree and think it’s good Yui wasn’t ‚chosen‘ as the first LGBTQ+ rep for this reason.
but on the other hand, there are ‚stereotypical‘ lesbians (not only lesbians of course) and there is nothing wrong about being a masc muscular woman and those need to get (positive) representation in media as well.

Those "stereotypes" are made by heterosexuals, why should queer people care as long as the representation they're getting is good? Are there no buff lesbian bike racer lesbians or something?

By qualifying Yui as a homosexual without any sort of indication within the lore or her backstory...... You are buying into an reinforcing those same stereotypes. You looked at this lady's appearance and hobby and said yeah, she's this. That's pretty lame IMO. Boring way to categorize folks.
