How about we just change it to "kill all survivors using only the 3 teachables"
like
it's that easy
Exactly. Survivors don't have to 2-pip to get their adepts, so why do killers have to?

My god, tell me about it.
It's even worse when you play on PS4 & upgrade to a PS5 because guess what.. you gotta earn every single trophy back (except prestiges).
What a nightmare.

360 doesn't work on PC anyway. Only console killlers fall for that nonsense.
Not our fault aim-dressing always screws us over :(

Yeah, I've had this happen to me before.
There should be some type of "give up" option for killers with 1 gen remaining & for survivors when everyone is slugged.
DC'ing isn't the same thing as you genuinely trying throughout the match & giving up. Make it happen devs!

I'll go ahead & say Demo since nobody has mentioned him yet.
Why does he have to tell the entire map when he misses an attack or gets pallet stunned? The scream when he lands a hit is fine, but everything else is just so unnecessary & hurts him.
Not to mention, Demo's footsteps need to be quieter. His consistent loud audio cues make his "undetectable" portals practically useless.

Haha I couldn’t agree more.
I’m mentioning the chat because sometimes we’d want to communicate with the PC fellow survivors. It would be nice, not to mention the main things about gameplay that put console players at a disadvantage when you’re advancing in the game and facing pro players.
Yeah.. console players are pretty neglected :/
No endgame chat, low framerates, aim-dressing, etc.
Guess we gotta just power through the struggles though :p

I'm sorry but if I ever see a Deathslinger wearing this, he deserves to get bullied.
How the hell is the killer supposed to be intimidating when he's wearing a WWE outfit?

I dunno because it seems like everytime I get on late at night it's toxic, but I will say that I've noticed a huge rise in OoO players ever since they announced the upcoming nerf. I'm being careful on not really playing Trapper or any type of set-up killer until then, but instead stealth killers.
-
DS is one of the most abuseable survivor perks ever made & has outlasted many many changes in this game despite it being complained about for the longest time. Now that BHVR is finally taking action for it, survivor mains have been coming to the forums crying about how they can't have 60 seconds of invincibility anymore & will have to use DS for ACTUAL tunneling.
Give me a break & get off your high horse. If you're completely fine with killers & their perks (Undying) getting nerfed, then you shouldn't have a problem when the survivors get the same treatment.

You can still 360, takes a bit of practice is all!
Considering it was already hard to do on console in the first place, the new animations have made it almost impossible.

Shadowborn just feels nice to have especially on console.
Given that I also play on console, I can understand why you see it being useful. I just don't think it justifies an entire perk slot imo
Thanks for posting your footage man! I hope you found my feedback a little helpful.

But if they just straight up buff them they will end up being broken when you slug and camp with them. They will probably need some more fundamental changes.
Perhaps a rework then. Just change them to anything else, honestly.

Even the strongest killers in the game are played by people that camp and tunnel. I know a lot of people like to say they only do that because they have to but even with strong compelling killers nothing changes.
A lot of killers have to either camp, slug or tunnel to take back control of the game when they're losing. It is a tactic & doesn't matter what killer you're playing.
With that being said, OP made the claim that The Twins are mostly used for camping & slugging, so I made the suggestion that maybe if they were buffed, it wouldn't be as common anymore. That has nothing to do with stronger killers because it is true, she desperately needs a buff.
-
@TragicSolitude said:
Besides being a fun thing to do while slugged, being able to make quick movements on the ground was a good way to communicate with other survivors. Shaking back and forth to say "no" because the killer was camping has saved many lives. This is a nerf to solo survivors. The devs say they don't want to widen the gap between solo and SWF, but this dying state movement change actually widens that gap.
Yeah, I agree. Not to mention, you can't 360 anymore.
Don't get me wrong, I love the new animations (except for idle), but damn did they practically screw everything up for the survivors in terms of movement.
Hell, spinning has literally been the reason why I was given hatch before & now it's gone ;(

You get a 7/10 from me. Here's why:
Main mistakes:
- Be careful with your bounces. I know sometimes objects end up screwing you over, but a lot of times you could've done a regular M1 but instead you messed up your rush & made chases longer.
- Not putting enough pressure on gens. There are many times in your gameplay where you priotized chases over gens, such as 3:55 where you chased Feng instead of using Pop. Against competent survivors, as soon as you would've left to chase her, the gen would've been done.
- You don't use tactics to secure your win. Listen man, I understand you want everyone to have a good experience, but at 7:00 you should've slugged Kate to go put pressure on the gen about to be done. Slugging is very important when you're losing control of the game and can be the difference of a loss & a win. You got very lucky that the Feng didn't commit.
Minor mistakes:
- Around 2:03, you should've definitely went for hits instead of grabs. I know you probably didn't do it intentionally, but you could've managed to get 3 downs instead of 2.
- Around 3:06 you hesitated on hitting the Yui until she was done unhooking. If you would've hit sooner, she could've either gotten interrupted or went down a lot quicker.
Overall, I think you did a great job but you could've definitely managed to have a much easier game if you had more pressure around the map, mainly being because you didn't go against the best survivors.
Also, just curious.. why Shadowborn?
Edit: I forgot to rate it lol
-
To be fair, this bug should be her buff imo. Cleansing shouldn't fully heal you.

Clown's an anti-loop killer, and Good Nurses excel on every map. I imagine it's still great if you play Doctor, too. But for the killers I like to play? It's pretty terrible.
But when I played Nurse for the first time in my life on that map, for example, her blink was really glitched. The game would spam the button, creating an awful noise and leaving me unable to blink for quite a few seconds.
I think I've went against a Nurse with this bug on Ormond before, but it was before the recent update.
When she tried to blink, it spammed the noise indicating that she was & she ended up accidently blinking to the basement.
She comes out & the game is STILL spamming that sound, which is a huge disadvantage for me since I'm running from her, because I can't tell whether she actually is or not.
Weird.
-
Nah, haven't seen anybody run it since. It's a much weaker version taking up 2 whole perk slots, why would they?
-
I hate camping & tunneling just as much as you do, but without it they will almost always lose.
The Twins need a proper buff so the people playing them don't have to resort to a playstyle that ruins other people's experience.

Are Pig players really play like this ? On my ps4 matches they are hardcore lol
I'm also on PS4 & have found that 80% of the time, they will be friendly if you do that.
But like I said, there are definitely some sadistic Pigs out there that just want to see the world burn.. so only boop the snoot if it's your last resort.
I will mention that whenever I end up playing Pig, if somebody boops my snoot & I'm not losing control of the game, I'll usually let them go. I dunno, I guess it's just a kindness thing.

Thanks for answer. But i really don't understand boop part ?
Haha, the whole "boop the snoot" thing is just basically a way of trying to be friendly with a Pig.
If you crouch infront of a crouched Pig & point at her nose, you're booping the snoot. Most of the time, Pigs will respect the boop & let you go since it's a well known thing among this community, but there are Pigs out there that are ruthless, so precede with caution lol.

Pig is played really good killer mains. I am sure she is not weakest killer because of her kill ratio.
I'll try to give insight here as to why she's weak & easily counterable:
She's weak because:
- Traps: Her traps are pure RNG & this will always hurt her when playing against survivors that are efficient. As soon as that trap is activated, you're supposed to start working on Jigsaw boxes right away & will always be guaranteed to get it off of your head even with Tampered Timer. The ONLY time your head will ever pop is if you decide to put it off or if Pig is endlessly chasing you (which results in her inevitably throwing the game anyway). Not to mention, extra traps are useless at the endgame because a gen has to be done to activate it.
- Lunge: Her lunge is very predictable & doesn't even hit half of the time. Don't get me wrong, her roar gives her personality but damn does it eliminate the purpose of stealth lol. I will say that she can use her lunge in chases though, but you'll have to get really lucky to pull it off because competent survivors don't fall for it.
- Crouch: Her crouch has a huge delay when standing up & pretty much eliminates gen grabs unless you either manage to hide your red glow or get oblivious survivors. She needs to get the Ghostface treatment with no delay.
- Stealth: Her stealth is pretty bad because she has loud breathing & a big character model. I dunno about you, but she definitely doesn't blend in with the grass considering her character model sticks out by a mile.
How to counter her:
- Traps: As I said before, just be efficient. Stop putting it off, because if you do, your head has a better chance at popping & then you'll probably come back to the forums about how OP her traps are. Even with her best addon Tampered Timer, you WILL have more than enough time to get it off. Before you say "but traps are unfair because it takes so much time", not only does she have a limited amount of traps but searching through every single Jigsaw box shouldn't take more than like 1 1/2 minutes if that. Not a big deal.
- Lunge: Considering she has to make a war cry before she attacks, you should have enough time to react (especially with Sprint Burst). Even if you don't, you can usually bait her attack anyways because it's easy to make her miss it. Oh yeah, if she crouches near your pallet, just hold W to another one. She'll waste time un-crouching and will take a bit to catch up to you.
- Crouch: It's almost impossible to get gen-grabbed from a Pig unless you aren't paying attention as her crouch has a very noticeable delay. Just pay attention and you'll be fine.
- Stealth: Similar to what I said above, if you're paying attention just like you would with any other killer, you should be fine. The only time I'll agree with you is in indoor maps because you cannot see when they're coming half of the time, but the chance of getting one is low due to the fact that there aren't many in the game. If you're desperate & feel like you can never sense when she's coming, just use Spine Chill. Easy counter.
Pig is in need of a dire buff. She is very weak against survivors that know what they're doing & gets stomped on.
If all else fails, boop the snoot & she'll most likely let you go. Problem solved.

I don't think it's bait. I think they just hate playing against pig. This is like they're 3rd or fourth discussion about it, plus comments mentioning hatred of pig.
If it isn't bait, it's stupidity. People are allowed to have different opinions but the Pig is nowhere near unfair.
-
nice try, everyone knows the Pig is one of the worst killers in the game lol
-
There's a lot of killer buffs than need to be done, but I personally think Demo needs it the most right now:
- Demo needs to stop letting everyone know every single action he does. Sure, he can scream if he lands a hit. But why does he have to make it clear to the whole map that he's missed a hit & got pallet stunned? His footsteps also needs to be quieter because it makes his "undetectable" portals useless.
-
His rework didn't do much & I think he's practically the same killer as he was before. Sure, the faster reload is a bit more viable, but I don't think that little improvement would move him up an entire tier.
-
Any killer can slug, because it is the person playing them, not the killer. Though I will say, the reason why you see Nurse & Oni doing it the most is because they're two of the best killers you can do it with, with both having good mobility & pressure especially when combined with Infectious Fright.
I'm going to personally speak for Oni here. If I'm running Infectious Fright & see an opportunity to slug, I definitely will because it creates map pressure. If I feel like I am ending the game too early, I will almost always hook 3 people and give a reset to the 4th person to go unhook the others. I understand leaving with 10k bloodpoints or less is frustrating.
Although, If I slug because I am deliberately losing control of the game, I will not feel mercy for you or your teammates because I would've lost if I hadn't done so. Sometimes killers slug because they see an opportunity & sometimes killers slug because they're desperate to take back control. It is a tactic & even though it's a douche move sometimes, it is a viable way to win.
-
Make them feel what you once did (:
-
Too many god pallets & too many breakable walls. Nuff said.
-
The new animations has made swerving, turning & 360'ing practically impossible to do. Survivors are almost forced to just hold W now because trying to do any type of juke will slow them down due to the delay & stiffness of movement.
It is definitely sad & I used to always use juking as a last resort. Now myself and many others don't have that option anymore.

Its a combination of things. Killers having too much power is one of them. Its also the solo que where you're taking a huge risk with randoms not knowing what their perks or intentions are. I can't tell you how many times in RED ranks I have had other survivors loop the killer literally right beside my hook. How does it always end? Me dying on first hook and the other survivor getting caught. I'm sorry but I just do not believe "killers rarely win" in red ranks. I'd like to see some actual data on it to see what the escape ratio is for higher ranks.
I dunno, you must be playing a different game than I am because I rarely get incompetent survivors in red ranks.
7/10 of my games, gens are done within 5 minutes & we all escape no matter how much pressure the killer puts out.
-
@KateMain86 said:

I've played a lot of matches in red ranks and in my experience killers 4k most of the time so I'm not sure where you're getting that from. Solo que is always a risk because you're relying on your random team to have good perks, use them correctly and to work with you to make the best possible outcome. Again, always a huge gamble and doesn't happen that often in my experience. Most of my matches I feel like I'm at a disadvantage and feel overwhelmed by how much power the killers have over me. Unless you're SWF you can't rely on your team.
Uhh, I'm getting that from playing survivor every single day & playing killer occasionally, something you don't do.
Sorry to break it to you, but if you're losing more than half of your matches, something is wrong and I'm 95% sure it isn't the killers being OP.
-
Love this rift. I'm a big fan of "baggage" outfits (ex. Backpacks, bags, etc). This rift seems to have a lot of that & not to mention there is an Oni charm.
I guess I better start grinding!
-
You could've just looked at the, you know, other hundred threads already made to see people's opinion on this update.
Anyways, I'm going to cut this short:
- The UI is a mess & shouldn't have been moved. Love the portraits & hook counters though.
- All the new animations are nicely done except for idle. Only complaint is how clunky they are & how you can barely 360.
- Buffs to Clown & Trapper were minimal & need to be re-done. Buff to Wraith was a nice touch, especially on open maps.
- Clown's soundtrack is a bop.
- Map reworks look great. Only complaint is the amount of deadzones & god pallets on The Game. Love the extra Saw references though.
- You can crouch n flashlight now :p

Same the flower crown is amazing, but the dress is actually horrible, and I can't stand it. I think that goes the same for everyone, because since the cosmetic glitch I've seen ton of kates with the flower crown on, because it looks perfectly fine with any other outfit.
I actually don't mind the dress too much, but that hair deserves a much better outfit.

It's a shame you cannot wear Kate's flower crown hair with another outfit :(

The devs have addressed that they're looking into a solution for this mess of an update. Why are people acting like they don't give two sh*ts? Yeah, they released an update that was clearly hated by the majority, but they've admitted their mistake and are trying to fix it.
Your loss, honestly. Oni is one of the most fun killers you could play.
-
I'll usually let you go if:
- I had a fun game & didn't feel like a sweaty mess by the end of it
- If I crushed your teammates quicker than you guys could do 1 gen (usually sh*tty matchmaking)
- If you were the only one on the team that didn't BM me
- If you were still trying to do your objective instead of camping hatch (2 survivors left)
- If I'm in the mood for farming/memeing
- IF YOU ARE AN ADORABLE DWEET!
There are many reasons as to why I'll feel like letting a survivor go. Hell, I'll even de-pip for it by letting all 4 of you go if you guys just decide not to be little *ssholes. We need more kindness in this game, so why not?
-
@Skysair said:
Nice bait, mate.
The dev team could've easily kept the previous UI's layout and added a small hook counter beneath the portraits... but no, they want to push the portraits to look way too similar to a Discord call and make our eyes dart all over the place.
Stop being a troll.
I definitely agree with your point & think they could've added the portraits as well as the hook counter onto the old UI, but why do you have to call him a troll? Sure, the majority doesn't like the UI but just because a minority does doesn't make them a troll. Come on man, people have different opinions.
-
I'm on console so this might differ from you (assuming you're on PC cus you can moonwalk).
Ever since they changed the animations, myself & others have noticed that you can barely swerve & 360 now. This is because animations change up what you can do & how smooth it is to do it. In this case, it's disappointing because I'd always do that as a last resort and now I don't have the option anymore.
Not to mention, it just looks clunky in general. Don't get me wrong, I actually like the new animations (except idle), but damn do they need to tweak it a bit lol
-
Yeah, I don't know why the community lashed out at them so much in terms of insults.
Don't get me wrong, they changed the UI to something completely worse despite it not needing to be changed. I'm not saying what they did was right & the community (including myself) definitely gave our opinion that they done goofed this time.
But the constant insults & name-calling is just uncalled for. They are people just like us & we shouldn't treat them so inhumanly.
-
Camping & tunneling is definitely aggravating, but it is a playstyle & a strat.
Yesterday I had 3 matches in a row where I was tunneled over and over and over again. Was I mad? Yes. But do I think it shouldn't be in the game? No. This is because sometimes it's necessary. 2 of those games last night, they tunneled me when there was 1 gen left because if they didn't get someone out soon, they were going to lose. Now with me out of the game, they had a fighting chance. I've done the same exact thing when I'm killer & losing control of the game.
Now if they were to camp & tunnel at the very beginning, I'd say it's a douche move because it's so unnecessary & they're practically throwing. But once again, they can play how they want & your teammates will most likely escape anyways (assuming they don't hook dive).
Just try & keep your cool when this happens.
(Now I must ask, what rank are you? I rarely ever see campers at red ranks so I'm going to assume you're in the lower ranks because lower ranked killers tend to camp a lot since they don't know how to play the game to their strengths.)
