My solo experience is really good imo. Of course I'll have the occasional immersed players that don't do anything & will leave you one-hooked, but most of the time I'll get decent teammates. If I had to guess, I'd say that I escape 7/10 of my matches.
Plus there are perks literally made for solo-queue to give yourself & your teammates information despite not being on a call. Kindred, Bond, you name it. It's important to use perks like this if you're having a rough time going solo.

I didn't really have a lot of progress (few cosmetics, 3 characters level 50) but it was definitely worth it. DBD on mouse and keyboard is much better than console and controller.
Yeah, that's the exact reason why I want to switch. I feel like playing killer would be a lot easier with mouse/kb & I'd be able to hear sounds better with headphones. If it wasn't for me having over 1k hours of progress on console, I'd switch in a heartbeat.

I used to play on Playstation until around June 2020. I wish I could get my cosmetics from there onto PC.
Was the switch worth losing your progess & cosmetics? I'm honestly on the fence about it.

Whatever killer is being played by a streamer lol.
They tend to be hella toxic. Except maybe some of the bigger known ones that have an actual following.
Yeah I honestly don't understand why some streamers decide to put their toxicity & childishness on the internet for everyone else to see.
Like.. is that what you want to be known for?
-
Three Days Grace "I Hate Everything About You"
Key lyric that reminds me of DBD is: "I hate everything about you! Why do I love you?" & "Every feeling that I get.. but I haven't missed you yet" because a lot of people still play this game despite either hating it or they take a break from it just to eventually cave in and play it again lol.
-
Yup, I've always supported this idea & I think it would make survivors think twice about saving someone rather than going off willy-nilly knowing that they have a safety net waiting for them.
To be fair, all a survivor has to do is stand next to the gate and occasionally tap it to stop it from regressing, so I don't see the problem. If there's 1 person on the hook & 3 survivors, 1 can stay by the exit gate and the other 2 can go for the save. Simple as that.

No Mither does not need a Rework IMO. It is meant to be a hard-mode.
What I would buff:
- No Blood Orbs against Oni-->Yeah, a team of 4 No Mithers can remove his power, but this will never happen. And if, he is a M1-Killer, but against a bunch of Onehits... But if someone takes No Mither, this is basically a wet dream for every Oni-Player, the team already has a constant Onehit-Survivor, but mass-production of Blood Orbs should not add to this.
- 100% Injured Reduction-->Easy, 100% Injured Sound Reduction so that you are not forced to use Iron Will. You cannot go on Chases that much with No Mither, so you need to be stealthy, but since it only reduces grunts of pain by 50%, you need Iron Will. 100% reduction would free up one Perk Slot
- Bonus BPs-->I dont know how many and where exactly, but I would say 100% in Boldness and 100% in Altruism sounds quite nice (with No Mither being an altruistic Perk)
I'm with ya on that bloodpoint bonus. Run it with WGLF & we'll be getting as many points as a killer usually does.
-
Now that is what I call some good bait! Keep em' comin ;)
-
First Pick (Killers I tend to play the most): Oni, Ghostface, Pig, Plague, Doctor & Clown (was hesitant to add him).
Second Pick (Killers I tend to play if I get bored of my mains): Freddy, Bubba, Wraith, Trapper, Myers, Deathslinger, PPhead & Blight.
Killers I've completely given up on lol: Nurse, Billy, Huntress, Spirit, Legion, Demo, Hag & Twins.
My first pick killers are the killers that I'll consistently play for fun/for the 4k.
My second pick killers are killers I also deem somewhat fun to play but I might be a bit worse with them.
The ones I've given up on I either consider boring, or I just completely suck when playing them.
-
No Mither is probably the most one-sided survivor perk in the game, with the risk being high and the reward being little.
I honestly don't think there's much they can buff to make it even slightly better, so I personally would prefer an entire rework.

I guess the entity just decided to bless you with oblivious survivors😂

Pyramid Head, Doc and Clown
I wouldn't say deathslinger as a while ago someone put something on this forum called "Entity Touched Eyes" which basically meant that any killers with the white glow in their eyes (i.e. DS, spirit, wraith, billy (doc doesn't count as his eyes are lit up by electricity)) were all killers who were wronged by someone in the past. They pointed out that maybe the entity tricks those killers into seeing all survivors as that person who wronged them, giving them a motive to kill, since most of the all the killers with the "eyes" never killed anyone intentionally. So with deathslinger laughing after hitting a survivor and his brutal Mori could just be his reaction to catching Bayshore after being wronged by him in his life. His laugh being a "I finally got you".
Compared to Clown's laugh which is more malicious as he just kills people cause it is interesting to him, seeing their lifeless body gives him some kind of joy and collecting their fingers as trophies. His laugh is a more of a "you can't escape" as he's just caught you so he can fulfil his perverted intentions.
Never heard of the concept "Entity Touched Eyes", thank you for sharing! Never thought of that before.
Though I will say, they could still be considered sadistic given the fact that they are killing the people who "wronged them", but you never know.

Listen, don't lose hope because I could be wrong & I honestly don't know, but my guess is no.
Since DBD technically doesn't have you make an account for the game, I don't see how you could transfer your progress.
I'd advise trying to email them or get attention from a mod on here to accurately answer your question.
-
Whenever I play killer at night, I usually get red rank SWF's even if I recently had a rank reset & wasn't supposed to be put against them.
I dont usually see tryhard killers, but it's definitely possible. I honestly don't know why this happens at night, but it's one of the reasons why I try to avoid playing after 10 PM.

Yeah, my main issue with her seems to be just figuring out how to loop with her lunging. That surveillance tip is actually really awesome, I hadn't thought of that. Thanks!
As soon as you see her crouch at a loop, simply leave it. She'll almost definitely end up mindgaming herself & will waste time having to uncrouch to chase you again.
I've both done it & had it done to me, it works. The only time you shouldn't do this is if you have nowhere to run to, because at that point you'll have a better chance at testing your luck than not.
-
Spirit is definitely the killer that I have a hard time playing against. Anyways, I'll try & share some knowledge:
- Freddy: When playing against him, your main goal is to basically stay out of dream world. Freddy cannot use his power against you (snares or pallets) if you aren't in it, which renders him a weak M1 killer.
- Oni: Just like if you were to go against Billy or Bubba, do not get caught in the open. His Blood Fury is practically useless at jungle gyms & areas you can run tightly around. Make sure you also try to stay as healthy as possible, because being injured gives him his power.
- Bubba: Similar to what I said above, tight spaces are your friend. Most Bubba players (including myself when I play him) have a hard time maneuvering around objects in fear of throwing a tantrum. Make sure to stay by vaults & take the risk of running another loop at a pallet because 90% of the time, the Bubba will respect it when revving so he doesn't get stunned.
- Clown: He is a bit trickier to go against, but the biggest tip I can give you is to try and bait his bottles. Keep in mind the Clown (if good) will most likely try and do the same thing to you. Make sure you also know where he is at all times when trying to run a jungle gym because he will most likely try and trap you in with this bottles. Leave before he does that.
- Pig: She is definitely the easiest one to play against compared to the other 4 killers. Her traps are pure RNG which inevitably hurts her & all you need to do is get that trap off as soon as it activates. Even with Tampered Timer, you'll still have enough time if you're efficient. The only time I can see your head popping is if she continuesly doesn't leave you alone, which means she is throwing the game anyways. As for her stealth, she's pretty easy to spot & just like Ghostface, look around, be alert. If all else fails, BOOP THAT SNOOT!🐷
-
Say it louder for the people in the back!
-
Head On is quite annoying considering it barely even gives the survivor distance, but rather it's purpose is to troll the killer & make them mad. The only exception is if the survivor is running a build that synergizes with it (ex. Deception & Quick n Quiet).
-

A crutch perk can be defined as a perk that you cannot play without & rely on/a perk that'll help you win.
With this being said, I do believe crutch-perks exist and I use them myself very often. Just because I think they're crutch perks doesn't mean I think they need to be nerfed in any way.
An example from both sides can be Dead Hard & NOED. Survivors sometimes rely on Dead Hard to extend a chase & killers sometimes rely on NOED to save a game they already lost. I personally use Dead Hard all the time & when I don't have it, or any exhaustion perk for that matter, I feel a lot less confident while in-chase.
For the people that tend not to use crutch perks/exhaustion perks, I give you props because you're basically handicapping yourself since everybody else is probably running them.
-
They tore Billy to shreds & now you want Bubba to go through the same treatment even though he's not even good to begin with?
Give me a break.
-
If you're both playing Ash (specifically with the same skin), you'll be seen as a threat because the killer probably thinks you are a duo (which you are).
Unfortunately SWF's beat the crap out killers most of the time, so whenever a killer suspects one they either dodge the lobby or go extremely tryhard.
I don't blame them.

-
There are only 3 reasons why killing yourself on hook is viable:
- If your teammates sandbag you more than once.
- If you've led a decent chase just to see your teammates doing jack sh*t.
- If you hit second stage when they definitely could've gotten you before that.
These reasons are really frustrating & I don't see a problem with people suiciding over these.
Though I will say that if you give up because you're going against a specific killer or some other petty reason, you need to get a grip. Seriously.

Yes but then what if the killer is a dick and wants to just let people bleed out? Hold us hostage in a match for like five minutes or more or else get punished if we DC? Or if the survivors just hide and don’t do gens and hold the killer hostage in a match.
I agree & wouldn't mind something like this coming to the game because it would reduce the chances of the game being held hostage, but until it is addressed as to how it would work in a fair way, I don't see it happening anytime soon.
-
bro ngl I thought you were talking abt the actual clothing & was going to say I have no clue why that exists
-
As hard as it would be to get the permission, I'd love Pig to have the Saw theme as either her terror radius/chase music/or lobby theme. It'd make her a lot scarier to go against imo & would definitely feel like an actual 'Saw' chapter.

Doctor or Freddy I would think.
The Doctor is pretty well explained by everyone else here, so I won't belabor it further.
Freddy is a demon born of the soul of a child murderer. I am not real familiar with reboot Freddy, Robert Englund was my Freddy, and always will be, but unless they made some wild departures from the source material, Freddy tortured children and threw the remains in the boiler, until he was caught and fed to it as well. His rage, and desire for blood of Innocents lead to him becoming the dream demon we know and fear. The only other thing I feel adds to my argument here is watch Nightmare on Elm street 3. That's sadism.
In the remake, they make Freddy out to be more of a pedophile rather than a child murderer. He's also a lot more sadistic than in the original movies, here's a clip to show you (watch till the end): https://youtu.be/rvpFERo3ZnA?t=150 (age-restricted so I couldn't put it in as media).
-
This audio cue is amazing imo & really adds personality when going against Myers. Despite this though, I picked unsure because as others have said, it would give away when he's stalking. Sometimes the survivors already know but if he manages to sneak up on somebody, this will most likely just give him away.

Self care gives me points, we'll make it gives you points. Obviously I'm going to self care
You'd rather waste time self-caring because of a few bloodpoints? Genuine question.
-
Although I agree with having this option, it will deny extra bloodpoints in some situations.
If all 4 of you are down on the ground & "surrender" before the killer can hook you, that's similar to DC'ing because you're denying them bloodpoints. Same goes with a killer surrendering when survivors are looking around the map for hatch, totems, etc.
-
I can 100% vouch for your Bill stereotype. If people thought Dwights & Megs were bad, oh man is Bill even worse. 98% of Bills I've played with have been cute lil scaredy cats.
Always crouching when the killer isn't near, blowing up gens, leaving you one-hooked, etc.
Also, us Tapp mains are out there! You just gotta look for em!

I really like Otzdarva, Ohtofu, and SpooksNJukes. Spooks is the only one that will use tunnelling and other questionable actions because he makes a lot of videos where he trolls other TTV streamers. When I first started I thought that when I saw TTV names they'd be awesome, good players. Yeah...I was wrong.

Oh look, the same old "killer bad survivor good" crap.
- Gen speeds are definitely a problem & has almost nothing to do with pressure against the right survivors. If you cannot see that but you can see killers being OP, then you need to try and play killer in red ranks lad, so you can finally wake up & smell the roses.
- Addons make games different and adapt you to have a different playstyle. Not to mention, they also give the killer a chance at winning & having fun. It's almost the same thing as items for survivors, boo hoo.
- NOED is a counterable perk & isn't hard to work around. Scope the map out for 1 minute, that's all you need to do lol.
- Both survivor perks & killer perks make an impact on how the game goes. Killer perks like BBQ have a counter and survivor perks like DH have a counter. It's all about adapting to gameplay.
If you're going to complain about unfairness, stop being biased & see the problems from both sides, not just survivor.

Lorewise none but if you want to talk whose hypothetically the most likely
Honestly I'm surprised plague is showing up as much as she is. Considering she's completely devoted and considers The Entity her god there is no reason she has to be merciful to anybody and defy what The Entity wants.
Doctor, Freddy, Ghostface, Clown are are way too sadistic to even think about letting you go hell be glad they work for The Entity so they don't drag your death out.
Michael or PH yeah not going to happen.
Hag, Huntress and blight are probably too far gone
Legion most likely won't let you go (that goes for all four yes even Susie)
Deathslinger, Billy and Spirit are to wrapped up in misdirected hatred so no.
Bubba is too afraid of the Entity.
Charlotte won't especially if you hurt or threatened Victor
So that leaves Trapper, Wraith, Nurse.
Trapper might let you live however not out of any humanity but more out of a sense of defiance against The Entity.
Nurse especially looking at her mori is probably the only killer that still clings to a shred of humanity if anybody felt the too bad to kill you it would most likely be her.
Wraith to me as unknown I feel like a lot of people tend to see him as more innocent and merciful than he actually is however I don't really see any reason for him to be completely stuck in the entity's ways so it's on the fence for me
Never thought that Trapper being merciful could just be his way of being defiant, well written man! I had a lot of fun reading this response (:

Don't try and backrev survivors with your vomit, it's rarely ever worth it unless you managed to body-block a survivor. Even with the best add-ons it's unlikely you'll get them infected in one puke. Just chase normally and then puke on them when you hook or down them.
As for builds Idk what the best build for Plague is, I use a really bad build on her (BBQ, Agitation, Enduring, Corrupt). Corrupt is a good perk on her though, infecting the gens that aren't corrupted at the start of a match is usually a good idea. Chase perks in general are nice if you're good at ending chases as an M1 killer and I prefer a more aggressive Plague build than the slowdown type.
+1 on this. Was the exact advice I was about to give, because why puke on them & waste time when you can just M1 and puke on them later?
-
It was hard to pick between Oni & PPhead since both killers are swole af.
Though, I'd say Oni takes the cake because I mean.. look at him. He'd crush you like a tin can, especially in Blood Fury. PPhead is just thicc. Case closed.
-
@SaintDorks said:
In game..It is usually a trapper who is most likely to show mercy.
In lore..Depends on many factors..But besides the one's already named.
I think If the Oni is in a good mood because someone who pissed him off he got to mori he would at least let someone go because he seems like the kind of jerk to be like "I am too joyous in the slaughter of the bastard who looped me all map..You can go now" He clearly has a ego and If It is stroked I can see him being somewhat nice.
The pig I think would let people go after they remove the beartrap unless she thinks they removed It too fast. Amanda had a habit of rigging games But It is explained in the movies It was cause Karmer's other follower was blackmailing her...So,I think If you are dying but you saved someone else while crawling she would give you the hatch out of at least honor of Karmer.
Ghostface, because Horor movies.."Someone gotta live for the next one"
I kind of wanna say deathslinger..But,I think only..Only If you give him whisky or a smoke. Similar to Oni he is prideful to a point...So,you might be able to get him to atleast stop trying to kill you for a few seconds If you ask him about his spear gun.
I agree with everything except for Oni & Deathslinger..
I dunno.. maybe you could sway an Oni, but imo Deathslinger would shoot a harpoon through your body without hesitation, and definitely enjoy it. He gives me sadistic vibes lol.
The only thing that might earn an escape from him would be a Bunny Feng.. maybe..
