you start of by saying "Tell me why it's okay for already non viable killers to be ######### on by this perk", i'm not saying its okay. but i can also say
Tell me why it's okay for survivors that have completed all gens to get ######### on by noed.
you see what i mean. Killers have the same ######### that survs have, but for killers... So stop complaining. If the good survivor stuff should be removed, then the good killerstuff should be removed aswell. And then the game is no longer fun after.. gg
It's okay because survivors should've had the brain to do the totems. Noed rewards the killer for survivors failing to do totems. You can literally remove this perk from the killer.

That's irrelevant to what I said.
Then why did you bring up noed regardless?

I also think it's hilarious when people say the perk rewards you for doing poorly. Wonder how many of them run NOED.
Noed isn't a problem

Well, you could have explained your point with reasons behind it. But it's easier to say "no its not" and leave it by that, while saying others use ######### arguments.
Okay I'll indulge
First version of decisive had no condition that had to be met and no real challenge while also providing insane benefit to the survivor for essentially nothing.
MoM requires you get hit at least 3 times; at least it's a condition, which-- depending on the killer can be denied.
In addition, decisive had no downside other than the perk was disabled once activated once. MoM has the downside of letting the killer know exactly where you are if you decide to heal all the way. Even if you pull the strat of just 99% the heal then healing to avoid dying you will never get away from the killer until you're hooked again.

The only one full of BS here is you yet again, Spirit , Noed, Bubba, Freddy etc but hey cleanse the totems. Mori's, a lot of you all brag about how many you have.
You're joking right, there's a few banned accounts plus a lot of the killer mains on here have as recently as a week or so ago been whining for a SC nerf. Then before the whole of healing got nerfed there was countless rant threads about nerfing SC and healing in general.
Also don't give me the no ones complaining about Exhaustion perks nonsense anymore, this forum is littered with BL/AD/DH/SB etc threads and posts still.
I've been saying for quite sometime insta heals should have some requirement to use just like SC when I said you shouldn't be able to stop at a pallet and heal then next one.
They're currently looking at doing just that with insta heals or some form of that and why is it that killers can regularly 4k with Bubba/Freddy Huntress etc at red ranks? It's not because the tired old BS excuse the survivors were potatoes.
It's because the killer knows their killer and how to path tiles correctly, when to chase and when not too etc.
I've never gotten 4ked by a cannibal. Not even when I was at rank 3

I like it. Legion is supposed to feel fast but he's so sluggish.

Which I don't consider a good reason. A change shouldn't be prevented because ONE Character profits from it more than others. It didn't stop the devs in the past either (refer to Coulrophobia specifically excluding Snap Out of It).
It's a theory. i didnt say it was a fact.
I tried an anti heal build on the ptb when thanat was buffed. Coulrophobia, Distressing, Sloppy and Thanat on Legion. Needless to say it was nasty. I could've swapped coulrophobia for nurse's and it would've been worse.
Obviously the ptb isnt a good way to gauge stuff like this but the amount of heals you can deny is ridiculous.
This isn't to mention that survivors just arent healing anymore as it is. I personally think there needs to be a bigger incentive to heal.

Please don't tell me you belong to that bunch that's calling BBQ OP because it can read Auras.
Having the Aura of Survivors revealed means nothing, they still have to be caught. And FYI, Killer Instinct only works inside the Terror Radius.
Whether or not they can see me isn't the point. It's the fact that they can easily find and deep wound survivors to keep pressure going. I play a lot of legion and because of that speed boost its really easy to get that injure. (Obviously it's a lot harder to down someone)
That's why I think the devs are scared to buff thanat

Yeah guess why you versed these killer a lot yesterday? Pretty sure cuz of MoM is now in the game.
Furthermore, Nurse is just bugged. Bubba can't always use m2 (looking at you lerys map)
Well yeah I'm just saying I haven't been able to say much on how powerful it is because I haven't used it much yet.

Which has the easy counter of splitting up if you face a Legion, but Survivors obviously can't be bothered to adapt their play-style to each Killer.
Even if you split up, Feral frenzy has a component that tells you where survivors who aren't deep wounded are. Making it near impossible to be stealthy. You have to be quite a ways away from a legion to avoid it.
-
It's like 1.2 seconds I think. Maybe less than a second.
Enduring on ds makes the stun 2.8 seconds where the survivor has a 1.8 seconds to escape.
-
I'll live without MoM. I used it a ######### ton yesterday and it didn't activate that often due to every game being Legion, Cannibal, Nurse or Billy.
I still think the child like reaction from some of the killers on here is hilarious
"IM GONNA LEAVE THE GAME"
"TIME TO QUIT KILLER"
Nice to see the ######### killers leave.

It was. If legion wasnt so easily able to injure all 4 survivors and keep them that way then we would probably have 24% thanat.
-
Your irony is really cringey
I get it you don't like survivors but for ######### sake get over yourself.
-
There a lot of things that need to be changed to give more BP
Survivors gain so little in comparison to killers as it is
In a game of killer I average around 35,000 BP without bbq. My average survivor BP is 20-25,000
Survivors need to get more BP for boldness and more BP for running the killer. Survivors just need more BP in general.
I think this suggestion would be nice but it's not solving anything. Really it's just incentivizing killers to play against 4 mans which most dont want to do

In the last 3 Chapters:
Killer 4 perks.
Survivor 7perks(9 with the new Survivor).
Quality over quantity.
Not all of the recent survivor perks have been bad
Deliverance is pretty good
Distortion is neat
Solidarity is awesome
But most of the dlc survivor perks are too situational or inefficient to be reliable.
-
Wraith can obtain the fastest pallet break if you use the right perks and addons.
About a 0.3 second break iirc
-
I wish diversion could be used just a little more often but it would be used to bully :/
I hope it gets a rework or a buff because it's so lack luster as it is right now

I said this in another thread
Mom should have conditions like DS was changed to have, maybe make it after an unhook and add a timer so it's another anti tunnel perk but instead of a stun you get a 1.5s boost.
They could also start to look at certain perks that have a similar effect like those two as not single entities but a duo set so certain ones don't work in conjunction with each other so you chose Mom or DS but not both as using either auto deactivates the other.
The 3 hits before it activates IS a condition

"So the devs can see a decent change we want"
You mean like all the threads about Legion, Freedy, hatch, genrush, end-game, totems, and of course the endless QoL changes to killers? Sure, they'll see them as they say, but guess what... None of those ideas made it live, not a single one of them, so... Why bother anymore on trying to fix their mistakes?
I said decent because half the changes suggested are terrible. Not saying mine is good but I mean...
-
Insta heals need a nerf anyway.

It's a practical "indefinitely", in the sense that a survivor can loop the killer until all generators have been repaired and the exits have been opened. Like DS, MoM just makes the problem worse by providing people who don't need free escapes with even more free escapes.
I have never in all my hours of playing seen a survivor run the killer until all 5 gens are completed and the exit gates get open. It's just not possible; there's no if, and, or but about that.
Is this supposed to be a hyperbole or something for a long chase? A survivor can usually run the killer for 1 gen and 2 if the killer is terrible/the survivors are coordinated enough.
-
@GhostOfPastKiller said:
The majority of what you listed, if not all, are fixes to game breaking bugs/exploits/map layouts/... the list goes on.
That can't be considered as balancing, but fixing the game.
Just saying.
Yeah I'll give you that one, infinites should never have existed. But aside from that...pretty much all of those are BALANCE changes

Survivors already loop indefinitely with no intention of actually winning the chase and consider it a good and skilled way to play. So that "drawback" that you and others like you cling to desperately like it's a big deal? It won't make any difference.
What games are you playing where you're getting looped indefinitely?

I miss seeing Self-Care in my games :(
Why would I use it when:
- It takes an even longer time to heal now
- Sloppy is frequently run
- Nurse's calling exists
- I can reap benefit from resilience and this isn't happening
I've unironically been using No-Mither on a few of my builds because healing is just that pointless.
-
Adrenaline is the most runned perk right now. Ever since healing got nerfed it's become pointless to do so.
Healing to 99 is your best bet so you can at least take another attack and I've seen that quite often while playing thus far.

Whether Mettle is OP or not, its whatever, what everyone is mad about is the fact that Survivors keep getting second chance perks. It is frustrating. We finally got the cancer that was DS out of the way, because it was indeed bad design. Now, look, two weeks or so after that, we get another stupid second chance perk to take DS's place.
People arent raging just because of Mettle alone. People are annoyed because of accumulative bad decisions from the Devs. For some people, it started with Plague getting nerfed during its release. For others, earlier.
If you dont understand it, thats fine. But people are frustrated, and assuming they are over exaggerating just because QQ, well, maybe the issue lies somewhere that you cant see.
Of course I know people are frustrated. I never said I don't but every time something like this comes out there's always a knee-jerk reaction where killers/survivors spam the forums only spouting nonsense about how the new addition is biased.
Mettle of Man will prevent you from getting hit
However, even if you heal to 99% you have to heal eventually. Once that happens you are never escaping the killer until you get hooked again.
If anything they should change it so it only affects a certain type of attack; why not make it only count on lunges? That way m1 killers have counterplay that doesn't require much to do.
Instead of using this forum to suggest changes all I've seen are complaints. Until I see legitimate ideas for changes that aren't coated in a seething rage, I will continue to say they're over-exaggerating

It's hard to believe that they will "Nerf" it. Survivors and the word nerf don't go well together. You clearly understand how the developers address issues about Killers? Here is a link if you weren't aware already.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=03GUuXbtPe4
But they leave all the bugs. Still crappy totums, still crappy gen rush when playing fair. (going after 1 after the other) Definitely no aid to combat against SWFS. They don't care. Survivors are King and I have come to terms of "if you can't beat em..."
"Survivors and the word nerf don't go well together."
Bro are you kidding me?
for christ sake you guys need to just GIT GUD.
If the devs don't like nerfing survivors then ZERO of the changes that have made this game harder on survivors would have happened
Infinites would never have been removed.
Sabo would've never been touched.
Cow Tree would never have been nerfed.
Pallets would never have been reduced.
The exhaustion changes would never have been done.
The healing changes would never have come.
Windows would never have been nerfed.
Shrimp Boat would never have been moved.
Crow Bombs would never have been implemented.
Minimum hooks and minimum distances between hooks would never have happened.
Moon offerings would still be in the game.
Backwater swamp would still have lots of tall grass.
Jungle gyms would still be more plentiful.
Thompson house would never have gotten a hook upstairs.
Macmillan Estates Groaning Warehouse would still be an infinite looping spot.
Maps would never have been made brighter to make it easier on killers.
The following killer reworks would never have happened - Trapper, Hag, Wraith, and soon to be Freddy.
If you can't learn how to adapt and outplay survivors then the only problem is YOU
YES GEN-RUSHING IS A PROBLEM, YES SURVIVORS NEED A SECOND OBJECTIVE, YES SWF IS A TOXIC AND ABUSIVE ASPECT OF THE GAME
But survivors have had it hard too.
-
@NuclearBurrito said:
This is an unfair question. In order to get a fair answer you need to compare the times you've been hit with DS compared to the number of survivors that ran DS in your games. If you count survivor's that didn't run DS then the information you get is useless
Well if you'd like to know survivors haven't really been running DS because it isn't nearly as reliable as before.
-
I like how absolutely every paranoid killer main over-exaggerates absolutely everything on here in absolutely every instance after absolutely every update.
I play 50/50 haven't had a problem with MoM while playing Wraith; if you guys really can't deal with a longer chase I don't know what to tell you.
On the survivor side I haven't had it activate yet because everyone's playing Billy, Legion Bubba or Nurse.
-
It sounds powerful on paper but in practice it's mediocre and you'll likely use it once or something.
Flip flop is more of a problem but since it doesn't extend a chase no one cares.
-
Getting hit with a basic attack 3 times activates the perk.
If you are injured; you'll be covered in a yellow glow and the following hit will be taken but no damage will be dealt to you.
After you've used MoM healing to healthy will result in the killer being able to see everything you if you're 16 meters away or more. It's a one sided object of obsession.
You can 99% heal to avoid it but once you heal to avoid death you will never escape the killer until the next time you're hooked.
It has infinite uses but will likely activate 1 or 2 times per match
-
Its only the forums. Everywhere else killers and survivors arent this rude to each other and actually have different opinions.
This is a video game. Stop being so moody.
-
It got reworked into being a perk that punishes tunnelers

Healing nerf? Not noticeable. Pallet and jungle gym nerfs? They are back this patch. Exhaustion? Right, 'cause being able to run SB 3 times in a chase was okay.
Funny how you don't mention buffs to the exhaustion (for example exhaustion reset, when you get hooked), jumping through the windows buff or even nerf to the okayish killers (hello Plague).
No, we, survivors, don't need to adapt.
Jungle gym nerf hasnt changed. Healing nerf was actually quite noticable. But you didn't play survivor so that's probably why.

Survivors didn't need to adapt to the healing nerf? The pallet nerf? The jungle gym nerf? The exhaustion nerf? There are others but you get it.
