  • Don’t let it bother you. If you choose to play through the match, ignore the flashlight user and tunnel out the weakest link. Just make sure to pay attention to your surroundings before you pick up, use knock out so you can bleed them out or play Pyramid Head and use cages.

I am also a bit bummed I couldn't get a mask for like Claud or Meg. I wish they also did those masks. Not to come here and act like I am not grateful for what they have done so far, just expressing my feelings on that.

I’m bummed too. I really only play Claudette and I really don’t have much of a drive to complete the anniversary rift.

  • I know it won’t happen but I’ll laugh if NoED isn’t nerfed but rather, made base kit.

Anyways, I can see a rise in Lithe and Sprint Burst.

  • I’d love watching Pyramid Head do the Macarena.

  • I just switched to playing killer for the event. It’s easy to walk around the map and look for the invitation while farming with the survivors to do the challenges.

It was too frustrating playing survivor because, while yes, killers were sweating a lot, my teammates were worse. They either sweat so much to where the gens were done in record time or they were so bad I’d suicide because all I see are two auras creeping in the distance behind rocks and the third is busy getting chased.

  • I stayed behind to let the killer kill me since they had a rough time. He got mad that I wasted his time.

  • @Grandpa_Crack_Pipe said:

Dude, where the hell did all these Nurse threads come from?

It’s cyclical. She’s just flavor of the month. Next month it will go back to Wraith or Pig.

  • You’re correct. Behaviour will never touch swf. Too much money is involved and it would basically be suicide to mess with it.

It’s not too much of a problem as long as they leave Nurse and Blight alone for killer mains to fall back on in order to stand a chance. They just need to make sure MMR keeps the top sweaty players in their own pool and not have top tier nurses obliterate potatoes like me or sweaty swfs bully mediocre killer players.

Unfortunately, the current matchmaking still needs work. It’ll probably be better in six more years.

  • I dunno what it is but since they confirmed it’s not a fancy new cosmetic, I’m not really interested.

  • Thanks, I usually tab out after a match.

I wish they would change it in the future.

  • Both sides are toxic. Matchmaking screwed up recently and put me and a bunch of solos up against a Nurse with a slugging build. She was far and above any of us and could have ended the game quickly if she wanted to. Instead, she opted to let everyone bleed out. Does that make all killers like her? No! Same for survivors. Not everyone is toxic.

If you must tunnel, do it to win, not out of spite. Don’t take your anger out on players who didn’t do anything to you.

  • No, she doesn’t need a rework. She’s fine as is. Just as survivor mains say SWF is a non-issue, so too is Nurse a non-issue. She shouldn’t be touched until Devs decided to balance around well coordinated, comm-linked swf who know every loop on the map.

  • This thread almost makes me want to play killer again.

  • @InvadeGames said:

man so many people complain about nurse and blight so much and i see a nurse like every 50 games and a blight every 60 games.

I just chalk it up to them being in high MMR. My experience is the same as yours, I rarely see Nurse or Blight, but I admit I’m bad so I’ll never be at High MMR.

  • Nurse* is the only option killer mains have to compete against swf sweat squads. She shouldn’t t be touched until the devs decided to balance around them.

  • @H2H said:

The reasoning is that if someone is unhooked during EGC and has DS, it’s basically a guaranteed escape even if they’re downed. If you pick them up, they hit DS and escape. If you don’t pick them up, they either crawl out or are healed. Killers basically have no options.

To use survivor mains’ favorite complaint: “there’s no counterplay.”

But there is counter play, it’s just something that survivors don’t like. If the killer tunnels them the moment they get rescued and forces them to use it early on in the match, then there’s no need to worry about it during end game.

its damned if you do or damned if you don’t.

I complained about devour hope in the past before but I will say the one good thing about it is it does discourage the killer from doing the things that survivors complain about the most in this game, at least up until it gets to the exposed power. Makes me wonder if I should actually wait awhile before cleansing those hex totems I find early in the match.

Devour Hope is lit from the start of the match. Best thing to do is cleanse lit totems and ignore dull ones until five gens and then hide right when the fifth gen pops to see if the killer has NOED and go back and look for it.

    Edit*

I didn't properly understand your post until after I posted. If the killer doesn't have undying, ruin or huntress' lullaby, I'd wait to cleanse, just make sure to remember where the lit totem is.

  • You got me. For a second I thought this was a Sluzzy post, mainly because I was expecting their inevitable “New Killer is OP” for this chapter.

  • While I don’t think console players play any worse than PC players, in my experience, they do tend to not try to rescue during endgame and just leave. Doesn’t matter if it’s me or someone else, but I’ve noticed if it’s a PC player that’s on hook, more times than not, they don’t try for the save.

sheet. i wouldnt mind facing him more,

i love me a good jumpscare and scream every here and there,

that and hearing my teammates yell "######### IS THAT BEASTY?!"

Don’t get me wrong, he is fun, even though I usually die, it’s just repetitive after 10 in a row.

I am thankful that I’m bad and at a lower MMR to where I see dredge rather than Sweaty Nurse and Blights back to back.

  • He’s fun to verse. The jump scares he can do when you don’t realize you’re next to a locker are great. My only problem is lack of variety because he’s all I seem to face.

  • Nothing illegal about it. You didn't purchase a game, you purchased a license to play a game and agreed to the terms of service set forth by Behaviour.

  • I still haven’t watched it yet. I’m catching up to other shows and then I’ll binge rewatch ST to remember everything that happened and then watch the new stuff.

I am intrigued by shirtless Steve……

  • I don’t complain about camping during any time. I understand that it’s a game and that I am going to die a lot. It’s not worth getting angry over.

Sure it can be frustrating, but I also understand that I’m bad and I’m more frustrated at my inability to loop well than I am at the killer for doing their job.

Thank you so much! I don’t know if you’ve played Valorant but there’s a character named Neon in the game and I really like her. I hope it works out with her because she’s amazing and is so fun to play as (can be annoying to play against but she annoys me out of love).

Also I don’t blame you for not coming on here as much. The whining has driven me mad and makes me respect this forum less.

Yea, its unfortunate because I am still old school and much prefer forums over things like twitter/ticktock and facebook.

I wish I could play Valorant, I have heard good things but unfortunately, I am really bad at fps game and don't care too much for shooters in the first place. I don't like the first person perspective either (one of the reasons I don't like killer much, though I can tolerate it in this game).

I hope that game works out for you. I am thinking to give away my PC and buy an iMac in order to reduce clutter, try and sell some books on the app store and stop gaming for a bit. I may just buy a console and play that on a TV if any 3rd person action games come out, those are my favorite.

I don’t know if you heard, but I’ve parted ways with Spirit. It’s a long reason why but it was mainly about feeling unhappy and it felt like my relationship with her was getting in the way of things I cared about. I did what was best for me and her. Still wanna find someone though, I just want to have a happy and healthy relationship with a character.

    Also love you too c:

Oh, I didn't hear about your break up. I'm sorry. I don't hang around too much on here like I used to. I still browse it everyday, but I just read the thread titles and leave since most of it is whining (from both sides) and it just seems everyone wants an easy game.

I hope you find a new love and that they bring you lots of joy. Just make to to enjoy Claudette from time to time.

I suggest you try playing Demo. From my understanding, you're a pretty good killer (unlike me) and he is fun to play, though not easy to do well with at high ranks, and fun to verse. He's also the goodest of boys.

That's good they chilled out after a bit. If just sitting in car freaked them out a long drive like that would definitely would be high stress.

Petshops sell stuff called bitter apple spray. Most pets hate the taste and it stops them from chewing on things they shouldn't like wires... Some are weirdos though and like the bitter taste. 😂 May want to try that, will probably need to reapply every so often but hopefully it would help. Other option would be wrapping double sided tape around the wires but that would probably get annoying with a head set.

Mines are definitely weird. I wrapped the base and lower part of the wire in aluminum foil and the vicious booger still chews on it. She isn't even hiding it, she does it while looking at me like, whatchya gonna do about it!? I end up tickling and petting her.

I saw the spray that you're talking about at Walmart, I'll definitely try it, but I know with my luck it wont work. I'm gonna search for metal earbuds or something. I know everyone is on the Bluetooth buds, but I just prefer wired since I never have to worry about charging and the fit for my favorite ones are the best for my ears. I don't think the tape would work, they'd just slobber on it like everything else and make it non-stick plastic paper.

  • Welcome back.

I hate you for playing Bird Poop Lady.

I rather you play Spirit and tunnel and camp me instead.

    I still love you. Mostly.

  • I think it’s decent enough. Much better than Bird Poop Lady. They could improve the lower part and make it more smokey/cloudy though.

The baby doll cosmetic is great though.

Letting kitties run around seems fine until you do it. 😂 We learned that when my old cat tried to get under the driver's feet. He REALLY wanted to hang out by the peddles. 😂

It definitely makes sense to try with people you trust will take care of them. Like I said if you were closer I'd definitely be one but that 2-3 day drive would be alot for them so will be better for them if you can do closer.

🤞For a lotto win. That seems the safer option between the two. 😂

My poopy head landlord sprayed for bugs a week ago, even though the kittens were loose. I immediately grabbed them all, including the mother, and put them in my van so as to not let them get the poison on their fur. They were not happy at first. The mother calmed down after she realized I was going to sit with them but some of her kids were stressed and breathing from their mouthes.

After bribing them with salmon purée treated and giving them lots of pets and squeezing their ears, they calmed down and enjoyed running around everywhere, but I would imagine they’d go crazy if I tried to drive up to you in three days.

You will be my very very last resort. I’ll make sure to tempt you with videos of them biting my toes and pictures of them chewing through my headphone wires(I know which turd does it, went through three in the last month, she’s the first to go!).

Oof, that's like a 2-3 day drive, that'd be rough for the kitties. I'd feel so bad putting them through such a long trip. It'd definitely be better for them to find someone closer. Less stress if they're not stuck in a carrier and on the road for so long before going to new home with different smells and stuff.

If you need help finding good families closer reach out to some local shelters for help - you can find out what their adoption process is for finding/selecting families for one you think will be best in selecting a good family. Some do their version of background check (check with landlord you can have cats, check that your actually employed) while others just need you to afford the adoption fee. If you get help from a shelter that uses fosters they usually don't rush to get the kitties adopted out, they take their time to find the right families. You could maybe be the foster, you'd probably just need to talk to your landlord since it would require the kittens staying a little longer and let them know you're working with the shelter to find them homes. If they've been this understanding so far hopefully they'd continue if you show you're actively searching for homes by working with a shelter.

Well, I wouldn’t keep them in a carrier. I drive a minivan and I’d let them run around as much as they want!

But in all seriousness, yea, it wouldn’t be a good experience for them. A worker at my local pet shop said that they would help if I need it. I’ll go when I’m sure the mother doesn’t want them anymore. I’m just trying to get people I know personally to adopt them in order to know 100% that they’re in good hands.

Still hoping to win the lotto (or get hit by a Budweiser truck at a red light that will result in a nice settlement) so I can buy a house and keep them all! I’ll even pay for you to come visit them (I promise to feed you well).

  • He's all I faced today except for one hook tunneling Wraith.

Maybe you're just to high up in MMR.

No problem, hopefully the advice has been helpful. 😁

I'm in North East US, if you're in North East too I would totally drive to pick up a kitty or two. 😍

I live in Misery (Missouri😜) but I would be willing to drive up to the North East if I can't find any good families that I can trust to take care of my little furry boogers.

Going for the beans gets you scratched.

But the ears, yes the ears work nicely!

The loss of blood is worth it. I would pay any price to caress the toe beans.

  • No, I don’t play killer to warrant the purchase and I’m not interested in the survivor. I actually rather not spend money on this game until after I see what the devs will do to make solo better as well as how they changed up the game to break the meta.

  • You know what you have to do, right?

Scratch the ears and rub the toe beans.

  • The only cosmetic I purchased using real money is Claudettes afro. I mean, can you even be a Claudette main and not purchase it?

  • I will agree to this only if you agree that Claudette gets a nice purple sequined pants suit, a victorian era ball gown, and a bush cosmetic that transforms depending on the map it is in (if indoors, it'll be a barrel or something).

  • @bm33 said:

I'll 100% take them. They can join my dog in distracting me. 😂

If you live in the states, I'd be tempted to drive to you so you can adopt one or two. I'd require something tasty in return tho, I'm not driving back on an empty stomach.

Also, don't think I forgot all the advice you gave me. I still really appreciate it ❤️

d'awww...yeah that can happen sometimes, and especially so with the love bites lol

But in seriousness, they look happy and healthy and adorable, I'm so glad they are doing well! And I also found if they are infatuated with the keyboard (walking on it in particular, which mine like to do sometimes), using an old, spare keyboard will often distract em from your active one.

Although what I am seeing here is they just love ya and want to be around you by being near what you are often around ❤️

I did my best to take care of them. I haven't been this happy in over 20 years (life has been hard) and I think about them all day at work and show off pics and videos to my coworkers and customers! I make sure they eat well, that their litter is cleaned twice a day and they get plenty of treats and fresh water. I tire them out with toys at night and sometimes they all sleep next to me in bed (not always because I toss and turn). One cutie pie likes to lick my eyebrows when I lay down.

I was actually convinced to get the mother spayed by other forum members because I mentioned that I wanted her to experience motherhood at least once, but it was too late because she was a cow and was already preggo. While I am worried about finding them good families and the potential heart break, I am happy to have experienced this. They're all just so precious.

Also, I'm not getting no extra keyboard, I welcome the distraction :P I may feel guilty a little if they jump on while i'm on hook and can't hit the skill checks, but its okay, the random players are used to it.

    IMG_1365.JPG

That is them at night, on my bed, with me nearly hanging off the edge of the bed because I don't want them to move. It's actually pitch black but I had the flash on. Two more were sleeping by my head.

It wasn’t you who I had as a teammate on Grim Pantry versus a Plague the other day, eh?

The one game where I got extreme value from No Mither but it was all thrown down the drain because a soddin’ Claud wanted hatch above all else??

No, I’ve been dying a lot in my most recent matches. Mainly due to my 5 kittens sleeping on my keyboard, trying to rip out my toe nail, climbing on my legs while sinking their claws into my flesh, or just being cute and letting me pet them.

Also, if I was in your match, you’d know it was me since I use his username in game as well.

And finally, if you do see me, know that I’m bad at the game but I will die trying to save you if you looped the killer decently.

  • You will be forgiven if you play a game as Claudette and escape without ever touching a generator. Bonus points if you offer up a Glenvale offering and hide in bushes and cleanse totems the whole match.

  • Aw, look at that chonky cutie! I love the coloring, it’s beautiful!

I see that it has prepared its claws in case that you attempt to remove it. I’ll pray for your success, with minimal bloodshed.

I'm not much for knowing how to fix some of the more complex tech issues, but I think I can handle this one:

    1) Go to your Kitchen

    2) Grab Cat Treats

    3) Return to Computer

    4) Execute Action "Shake Treat Bag"

    5) Run manual audio file "Pspspspsps!!!"

That'll usually return functionality to your game lol

The problem is that I like the problem while still wanting to finish the stupid challenges for Claudettes free recolored cosmetic.

Also, I will have to adopt out some of them since my poopy head landlord said I can only keep two (I have 5 babies and the mama). So that is more problems.

Hopefully, I'll win the lotto soon, then all my problems go bye bye.
