It’s a problem against M1 killers, but it needs to stay the way it is right now because of Nurse. What can survivors do against a Nurse bringing all the strongest things without having Dead Hard?
I find Spine Chill, Lithe and Stealth Play to work well enough for me against her. As long as everyone splits up and pays attention, we can waste plenty of her time if we sneak away. While I understand stealth isn't the most popular, people need to realize that they need to switch up tactics against different killers and sometimes stealth is best.
Even if you hate stealth, if you pay attention, and see the Nurse coming, you can start running before she gets to your gen and force her to waste her blink to catch up, or to traverse the map like a snail. Get to the next loop, and Lithe away to waste more of her time. Iron Will is also good since it can let you sneak away and break the chase.
Nurse isn't an unbeatable Monster. Sure, she is a Monster, but I look at her as the hard mode or the Boss of Dbd. They really just need to fix their match making and make other killers more viable to attract more killer players to play the game and keep the top tier Nurse players paired up against the top tier swfs.
Finally, I still don't think DH is the problem for M1 killers. They just lack tools to keep up the pressure and be more threatening. The problem is their kit and maps, not DH.

And they also shouldn’t nerf Dead Hard without nerfing Nurse. Dead Hard is almost required against her.
I don’t think dead hard is a problem. Nothing wrong with strong perks. The biggest issue I think are maps that just have too many strong tiles right next to each other.
-
Nurse rework is not necessary until the Devs buff killers to be able to compete against high level swf. They will also need to nerf maps and make all loops 50/50 for both sides.
If people on here agree that swf is not a problem because “only a few” are competitive sweat squads, then they should agree that Nurse isn’t a problem because only a few players are actually really good with her.

Artist is boring but she’s not as boring as Hag.
Hag is fun for memes. I used to place all my traps in one spot on the map and just wait for the constant screams and giggle to myself.
She’s also fun to punish meanies who think they can bully with no repercussions. Just hook them, and place all your traps around them and watch the light of hope for any rescue leave their eyes.
One thing many people don’t realize is that you can actually put traps on the actual stairs of the basement. I had fun listening to David’s scream the whole way down to rescue their friends. I was nice though and let the rescued person go while I ogled David’s torso.

Just curious, what do you have against her? :)
My main issue are all the sounds she emits. It’s like nails on a chalk board to me.
I also don’t like how she looks, but it’s not as annoying as her sounds.
-
Claudette, the killer of Killers hopes and dreams.
In all seriousness, just play each one a few rounds and see who you find the most fun or interesting to play. Just please don’t play Caw Caw Poopy Bird Lady. I’d rather you play Hag.

i cant be because i die so often, being left on first hook with DS and 3 teammates with BT. thanks solo.
I’m sorry for your suffering. Maybe you need to relocate to my server? The worst I get is one bad teammate, me (who is also bad), and two good ones. Dc on first down is common. Tunneling is common, camping not as much.
The most annoying thing for me is when I have two good teammates who overestimate themselves and underestimate the killer and feed him hooks because all they care about are flashlight saves and don’t know what a gen is.

Aw Dwight is so cute.
Now paint a fully detailed portrait of of David lying down on a fur rug wearing nothing but a tiny loincloth made of tiger fur.
-
It's too late, she's gone the way of the Twins. Just delete her since they'll soon release Sadako Plus Ultra in the next chapter.
-
I escape about 60% of my matches. If I die it’s usually due to me being bad (over 3k hours and I still can’t properly look behind myself while running).
Yea, I can get selfish teammates but it isn’t the norm. Maybe 1 out of 10 matches (on weekdays) will I get someone who suicides or DCs. It goes up on the weekends though.
Most killers I face are pretty much at a decent level for me. Not too good but not terrible. I get the occasional camper and tunneled but it’s no where near as bad as some whiners on here claim.
I just wish the devs would balance the game and killers better so I can see more of a variety of killers.

How do you cleanse a totem that was blessed by a teammate, huh, Mr. Killer? It is simply impossible. Zero counterplay.
All the killer needs do is snuff the totem at last gen and then guard it. These are very high mmr tactics.
Survivor main here. 99% of my matches are of me playing as Claudette.
There is counter play. Avoid the killer if you’re on death hook, if he has NoED activate, look for the totem and cleanse it.
While this may be a more difficult counter, not everything in this game needs to be easy.
-
Yes, it rewards the killer by punishing the survivors failure to cleanse totems.
If the killer was bad, the survivors should have no problem cleansing totems.
If the killer was applying enough pressure to prevent totems from being cleansed, then they earned it.
-
Spinning while in dying state.
-
It’s what pushed me to give up killer. I only play killer when there is a cosmetic in the rift I want and need to do some challenges, so I just farm and not worry about winning.
Playing a role in a video game should never elicit these feelings.
-
Aww, I don't know what you're talking about because I am waiting for the entire season to release. If I start now, I will go crazy while waiting for the rest.

"There is no point in complaining about "waste of time" when the whole game is essentially that. If you can't spare a few minutes that your opponent is entitled to, then you shouldn't be playing this game at all."
There is a difference between actually playing the game or lying on the ground for 4 minutes.
But it is whatever, I consider slugging for the 4K sweaty and unnecessary. If you enjoy it and think it is a great experience, please tell me your ingame name, so if I have you in my game at any point, I will just slug you for 4 minutes. Because this is how you enjoy your games.
So, yeah... I wont change my opinion on that one. Everyone would get more fun and more points if the Killer would just be happy with a 3K (most of the time it is a 4K anyway, since the Hatch-Change the Killer has every advantage to get to the Hatch first). And I highly doubt that looking for the last Survivor who will just be hiding is any fun for the Killer.
You're still playing the game when slugged. You still have control over movement, and can still pick yourself up with perks or get picked up by your teammate. If you hate it so much, give up one or two of your precious perk slots to counter it.
No where in my posts did I allude to enjoying being slugged, but sure, whatever. I go by Huge Bush in game as well. Feel free to play as you like as long as you follow the rules set by the devs. Unlike many other survivor mains on this forum, I wont come here to whine about it.
Nah, you and survivor mains who care not for your opponents would be happy if the killer settled for a 3K. This is like asking survivors to settle for completing 5 gens and not opening the doors.
It seems like you just want players to play on your terms or they're just sweaty. A very common theme on these forums.

My reasoning is based on who makes the first move in this scenario.
It is the killer who decides other people's time is less important than his own because he wants a 4th kill even though everyone in the game already knows he's won, with or without a hatch escape. It is the killer who imposes that same choice upon the hiding survivor, who now has to decide if the slug's time is less important than his own for a small chance at the hatch.
I think in an ideal world it is up to the killer to respect the other two people's time rather than up to the hiding survivor to give themselves up to someone who's being greedy. And this is a philosophy I stand by when I play killer myself.
No, you decide how important your time is from the moment you ready up for a match. You enter the match knowing that there will be the possibility of getting camped and slugged.
The hiding survivors influence on your time is just as strong as the killers. They lost the match, two people are dead and one is slugged. The hiding survivor is essentially deciding their opponents time is less important than everyone else's since they believe they're entitled to the hatch. They always have the option to walk on out to die or take a chance to pick up the slug. Instead, they're being selfish, disregarding everyone else's time because they feel entitled at a small chance for the hatch.
In an ideal world, it is up to the hiding survivor to respect the other two peoples time rather than be greedy and let their teammate bleed out for their selfish desire of denying a kill for the killer.

If I play Survivor, yes, I dislike Survivors who want to go for a 4 man escape. Because most of the time it is a trade at best and often enough the Killer gets another Kill. Especially if people try to get their teammates out of the Basement against Killers like Bubba, Huntress or Trickster.
If I am hooked in Endgame, I just suicide, because otherwise the Killer will just get more Kills.
As Killer, I dont mind if they go for a 4 man Escape, as I said, most of the time it is in my favor.
But slugging for the 4K just wastes the time of 3 players, because one player thinks that they did not win enough with a 3K and Hatch Escape (especially if the Survivors did not even get close to finishing all Gens).
There is no point in complaining about "waste of time" when the whole game is essentially that. If you can't spare a few minutes that your opponent is entitled to, then you shouldn't be playing this game at all.
Nothing wrong with a killer wanting to go for the 4k. That's the point of the role, to kill the survivors. Why should the killer settle for 3k and let the last person leave through yet another second chance feature in the game?
Why disparage the killer at all? It is no different from the last survivor hiding. Why not complain about the last survivor doing nothing to further progress the game? Hiding until the slug bleeds out, only for a chance at the hatch just wastes time. Why don't they just walk up to the killer and let them end the game faster since the killer earned it and the survivors essentially lost?
-
Claudette
Trapper
Claudette can also be considered a killer since she can kill a killers hopes and dreams.

I personally think slugging for the 4k is very rude to the person you're slugging and to the survivor that's hiding. It wastes the slugged person's time and prevents them from moving on to the next game, and it makes the person who's hiding feel guilty because now they are wasting the slug's time as well. So what, they're supposed to hand the killer a 4k out of discomfort and guilt towards the slug?
Just take your 3k and take your chances with the hatch, you've already won at that point anyway.
There is nothing rude about it, the killer is doing the only thing they can do in order to secure their objective. If you take it personally, that is a problem with you, not the killer. I think it is just pure entitlement that you expect the killer to not slug. Just look at your reasoning, its bad for the hiding survivor because it will make them feel guilty?! So basically, its okay to shame the killer and try to make them feel guilty for slugging but its not okay to do the same to the hiding survivor?
Just take your loss and reveal yourself. You already lost at that point anyways.

"So what, they're supposed to hand the killer a 4k out of discomfort and guilt towards the slug?"
Yep, this is what Killers want.
For some reason, anything below a 4K is bad. A 3K with Hatch Escape is also a big win for the Killer, there is no doubt that they won. And the Killer has the advantage when it comes to looking for the Hatch anyway, the Survivor can only get to it first if they are lucky.
Whats wrong with killers wanting a 4k? Do you whine about survivors wanting a 4 man escape? If the killer played well enough to get the survivors in the described situation, why should they settle for a 3k? Wouldn't that be that essentially be the same as giving up at that point?

And what do I do, if I'm on the ground?Sorry, but playing a slug simulator is not really fun. It has no benefit for me in terms of fun and is just a waste of time. And it's also not exciting for me, in no point. I want to queue up for my next match. I can't believe that there are some designers who decide:
"Ok, and what should the person on the ground do?"
"I think nothing."
"Oh that's brilliant. They will love it."
Certainly it makes sense, if not enough killers online. Because some survivors stay longer in a match on the ground. Not that I want to assume something 😌.
I don't want to give a solution here. That's not my job. But currently this mechanic is absolutly annoying for me.
What do you do if you're on the ground? That's simple, you fill up your health bar in order to be picked up. You crawl away in hopes of losing the killer. If being slugged is such a detriment to your fun, you have perks like Unbreakable that will let you pick yourself up once, No Mither (is only good if you're not bad and prefer a challenge) which will prevent killers from letting you get slugged, and finally Soul Guard will allow unlimited chances to pick yourself up if the killer has a hex active.
Not everything in a video game is supposed to provide you with pleasure. You're supposed to face adversity and try to over come it.
Also, newsflash, video games are all a waste of time. If you cant handle being patient for four minutes, you shouldn't be playing them in the first place.
-
It has the best bushes in the game.
-
Slugging is fine. Killer killed two and has one slugger and the last person is hiding. They deserve that chance to find the last person since the survivors essentially lost at that point.
If you don’t want to wait the 4 minutes for your teammate to bleed out, you have the option to surrender by walking up to the killer and ending the game sooner.
-
It’s not like there is much incentive for the killer to spread hooks. They only thing they get when they spread hooks is a harder game while making things easier for their opponents.
Don’t blame the players, blame the devs.
-
It’s not that far away, be patient and wait to see. If they don’t release a good deal, then wait for Black Friday.

An ancient Egyptian map.
An Ancient Greece map.
The return of Hawkins Laboratory.
A rainforest map with lots of tall trees, wild animals scurrying around and lots of bushes.
A “downtown” map with a central ornate water fountain that includes beautiful sculptures.
I also want a sky scraper rooftop map as other posters have mentioned.
A haunted mansion that includes ghosts for jump scares, self sweeping brooms, self scrubbing sponges and so on.
A Walmart Super-center kind of map that includes the parking lot. Survivors can push each other around in shopping carts and killers can use the pallet jacks for a burst of speed. Maybe let killers push a lone survivor into a shopping cart as well.
A full on Carnival map with a functioning ferris wheel and large mirror maze. Survivors can ride the ferris wheel while the killer can destroy it.
A large flower garden map. I want flowers to cover every inch of the place and I want the full rainbow of colors and there better be tulips and daffodils.
An airport map with the moving walkways that will let you run faster while you’re on it. Working escalators are a must as well.

When I played killer, it would depend on who I was playing. If it was with a killer I had littler experience with and the matchmaking put me up against meanies who are obviously better than me and rather than play the game are instead choosing to annoying me (head on stun after head on stun, t-bag, and whatever else), I’d just stand in a corner and alt+tab and watch YouTube.
If it was when I was playing Trapper, I’ll just go trap up the basement and the routes surrounding it and wait for them to get stuck. Then they’re never leaving it.
-
Iron grasp, Agitation or both.
-
All of them. I found it very tedious and boring to chase a survivor through the a strong loop only to be led to another strong loop. Yes, I know, I am bad at this game, but nonetheless, it was boring. I had the most fun with Trapper since he could shut down some loops, but he was tedious to play since you had to travel the world to get his power.
Survivor(Solo Queue) is much more enjoyable for me.

I came to say this. I think Ryuk would fit Wraith (mainly because of the chicken legs).
Nanika from HunterXHunter
Any demon from Demon Slayer as long as I can play as Zenitsu and Nezuko.
Anyone from Gantz with any of the Aliens as a killer would fit well in this game.

Game doesn’t need it. Third party voice chat will always be better than anything Behaviour would come up with. With their track record, even if they did introduce a voice chat, I wouldn’t doubt that it’ll brick peoples systems.
-
They’ll nerf Nurse as soon as they nerf sweaty SWF to the point that killers like Clown, Trapper and Pig have a fair chance against them.
-
While chases can be thrilling, I too, prefer the sneaky approach. I don't think there should be just one meta though, stealth and looping should both be viable and the game should be made as accessible and attractive to all players and their chosen play style.

While I would like a fully naked, detailed texture with a very high polygon count model of David, we do have children (as evidenced by all the whining on the forums). Besides, my imagination is highly active, so a Speedo would be good enough.
