In the first case, if there are 2 survivors and they've both been slugged, the match is going to end regardless.

You have a choice. You can let the actions of others distress you so much that you DC and lose your blood points, as well as court the penalty. Or you can decide that you are in control of your own feelings and actions. You don't have to do anything,

I want to see this video where the hatch is opened but the gates aren't powered.

Gates are never powered until five gens are done or the killer closes the hatch and starts end game collapse.

I was just thinking about you and Miss Piggy not that long ago (or if you chose a new name for her), those are some absolutely adorable babus! I'm going to predict the one on the right is gonna be a lil troublemaker lol

He is! I am planning to take some better pictures and post them later (lying in bed and being lazy now).

I’ve currently named the mother Luna though I’m still not 100% on it. I call her LuLu as a nick name. She gave birth like a champ. Didn’t need any assistance from me and did all the cleaning and properly cut the umbilical cords herself. She was so sweet before she gave birth and demanded belly rubs for an hour before the time. She then called me to follow her to her nesting box and started having them.

It’s not good though, I’m getting attached to them all, especially that little trouble maker that you pointed out. He bullies his siblings off of the nipples, runs around and rams his head into the cardboard box, nibbles on my feet when I’m on my computer and is over all rambunctious. He’s such a cutie!

His twin sister is better behaved and more playful. She’s also more of a sweet heart. I like to lay on the floor in front of their box and she comes out and curls up on my hand or decides she likes how I taste and kicks my nose.

Im super obsessed with them and it’s going to be bad when I have to give them up to different families. I’m definitely going to keep one of them with their mother, though I may try and keep another one. We’ll see.

Game getting boring tbh. Sure it's able to have its moments but like... nothing's new.

Playing the game feels more stressful than relaxing. No matter which side I play, I get reasons why I should just get off and do something better with my life.

Honestly, when I used to get off of work, I couldn’t wait to start playing the game. Now, I rather go lay down and take a nap and just relax (it what I’m doing now while browsing on my phone). It doesn’t help them that I now have 5 brand new kittens and their stupid mommy to keep me company. They’re more fun to watch than it is to play these days.

  • My favorite chapter was the Oni chapter. I loved the bushes in his map and Oni was just terrifying. The design team did a great job with him.

There's absolutely nothing the devs can do a thing about comms, no way to enforce it at all.

They could stop dragging their feet and balance around the notion of survivors having coms, make an actual matchmaking system that actually puts people of similar skill against each other and keep people from smurfing while also keeping noobs away from the more experienced players. Swf isn't the problem, it is the devs unwillingness to properly balance this game.

Survivor input controls NoED, but instead they claim it 'rewards doing nothing' instead of the more accurate 'Punishes Survivors for not doing bones'.

Because one sounds like a flaw (It rewards NOTHING!), and the other sounds like a balanced perk & Survivor's fault (It punishes us for ignoring totems!).

But as we all know; Survivors are never at fault and even Killer's winning is toxic, so Survivors run around screaming the perk is OP, or unfun, or whatever. 😁

Truth is, if the killer did nothing, survivors should have plenty of time doing totems, right?

  • DS is fine as is. It’s been nerfed enough and doesn’t need any more changes. If you can’t handle them stepping in a locker, play Trapper and place a trap in front of the locker when they jump inside.

  • I don't dc unless my game bugs out, otherwise, if a situation arises where someone wants to hold me hostage, I just alt+tab and do something else for the rest of the night.

In the case of Trickster, the only reason I'd dc against him is due to his awful music. I won't actually dc, I'd just suffer through the match.

  • I don't think it would work unless they finally rewrote the entire game for it.

  • Not until maps are redone to be more fair for all killers.

  • There’s only one streamer I watch and it’s only because I enjoy how he sometimes yells or screams when the killer is chasing him or gives him a good scare.

Otherwise, I don’t care about most of them.

    Ok.

Because this "idea" came up multiple times on the Forum already. And it is funny, because people defend NOED the same way "The game is not over when 5 Gens are done", but then sometimes the same people want to disable BT or DS in Endgame, because the Killer can only camp and tunnel at this point.

However, my opinion will most likely not change. I dont think that the game is over when 5 Gens are done, however, NOED is badly designed because the Killer will get it regardless of their own performance. They can get 0 Hooks or 8 Hooks, they get a value out of NOED. No Way Out is a well-designed Endgame Perk, it gives value based on how good the Killer did during the game. A bad Killer will most likely not get the maximum value out of No Way Out. But they get the same value out of NOED like a good Killer.

Let alone a camping Killer - it is impossible to do 5 Gens AND cleanse 5 Totems while one person is camped on the Hook. It is probably not even possible to do 5 Gens if they get camped early on.

IMO NOED should be changed into a Perk which gains Tokens based on how many Hooks the Killer got during the game. And then gives a Buff based on the number of Tokens. Plus, remove the Hex-Status so that it keeps being active during the Endgame.

This would be a far better solution. A Killer who did well will get a huge benefit from it during Endgame. A Killer who did poorly will not get that much of a benefit and a Camper almost nothing (because they only have one Hook).

But I doubt that NOED will ever be changed to something like this.

Noed isn't badly designed. It needs to be a big unknown risk in order to force survivors into making the choice of doing totems or rushing gens. If it was changed, survivors would have even less incentive to do totems, and please don't say that doing totems is a waste of time, boons have proven that competent survivors have plenty of time to spend off of gens in order to bless totems, multiple times during a match.

And no, the killer doesn't get Noed to proc irregardless of their performance. Survivors can cleanse the totems, preventing it from procc'ing. If the killer was so bad that it is obvious they have NoEd, then the survivors should have had no problem with looping the killer and buying their teammates enough time to cleanse totem. Even if it does proc, survivors have yet another chance to remove it from the game by cleansing the lit totem that can be easily found just by listening for the crackling sound, as long as they didn't make the mistake of fully opening the doors.

The only time NoEd is a problem is when its a Bubba and maybe a Basement Trapper but that isn't really a problem with NoEd, it's a problem with poor design on the killers part.

Decent Killers already earn Noed since they kept up the pressure with only 3 perks for 3/4 of the match. Survivors have no excuse when faced with a bad killer.

The only reason why people clamor for changes to Noed is because they want an easier game while denying the same for their opponent.

Wednesdays are Pizza days at the office and Fridays will be Cheesecake Day.

    Best change suggested yet.

Introduce a killer that’s just a regular house cat

will the survs be able to pet the cat though?

Yes. The mori will be the cat indicating it wants to be pet, the survivor will pet it and then the cat will launch itself into their face in a whirlwind of claws and fur.

    1. Make a new team to carefully develop a new engine for the game that will give better visuals and allow for things like fog, rain, water, crushable snow, slippery floors, and whatever else they can think of, while not melting older PCs and consoles and running at 60FPS minimum.
    2. Have another team to make sure that the first teams code is well written to help minimize bugs and to implement a better anti-cheat that gets updated every chapter (or faster when a new hack comes out).
    3. Overhaul the character models once again, only so we can have better customization and cosmetics. No more locked sets and now there will be slots for shoes, hands, legs, waist, upper torso, shoulders/back, neck, head, ears, hair and facial stuff. Clothing can now be shared between survivors. Killers will get select cosmetics that hey can share but I wouldn’t want them to be too alterable since they should stay unique.
    4. Redo every map so they’re fair for both sides. No more multiple versions of the same map. Every map will be static except for new weather effects as well as day/night/dusk effects. No more strong loop after strong loop after strong loop.
    5. Once the maps are fixed, Nerf Nurse to have only one blink, faster movement speed and no fatigue. Instead she’ll get a cooldown on her blink. Maybe she could get something else, I just don’t know what yet.
    6. Give Claudette a Bush cosmetic.
    7. Give David a higher polygon count as well as higher resolution textures so his body can stand out more.
    8. Introduce Henry Cavills Witcher character, shirtless cosmetic included.
    9. Increase the Blood Point Cap to 20 million.
    10. Removal of brown offerings and rework offerings in general.
    11. Rework some survivor items and their add-ons.
    12. Allow players to sell add-ons and offerings back to the blood web at a reduced rate.
    13. Decrease the cost of everything in the blood web by at least 40%.
    14. Higher professional writers to rewrite the games lore. I haven’t gotten too into it, I’m just not a fan of survivors being helpless and having no hope of ever escaping the entity.
    15. Give Trapper 4 traps as base kit as well as the ability to walk through traps without setting them off.
    16. All killers will get a new cosmetic of themselves before they were corrupted/changed by the entity.
    17. Exit Gates will regress after 30 seconds.
    18. Rebalance Killers once maps are fixed.
    19. Delete the ginger witch.
    20. Introduce a killer that’s just a regular house cat.
    21. Implement harsher DC penalties. If you can’t handle loss, you don’t need to ruin a match with your selfishness. Serial DCers will be put into a separate matchmaking that pairs them up with themselves.
    22. Figure out how to remove Bubbas absolute face camping ability. Maybe make it to where he can only down one person with his chain saw when he’s next to a hook and anyone else gets put into whatever state it’s called that requires you to mend.
    23. More cosmetics in the free rift.
    24. Reveal SWFs during the point screen.
    25. Better graphic settings.
    26. Wednesdays are Pizza days at the office and Fridays will be Cheesecake Day.
    27. Make moris on par with the current Mortal Kombats fatalities.

You literally just highlighted the issue for solo players which is most of the player base?

im convinced some killer mains here have a god complex, I like playing killer but I know after using blood warden and NOED how easy we truly have it and I’ve played solo q enough to see how bad it gets, I do feel for them after working so hard.

I don’t think there should be any perks altering the end game for any sides in fairness.

Why shouldn’t there be perks for altering endgame? If a killer give up perks for the beginning and middle of the game, why shouldn’t they get some power, that can be easily countered, during end game?

The game should not be balanced around idiots who are lazy and/or entitled.

As for “God-Complex”, survivors are no different, thinking that completing gens entitles them to escape and that killers should be punished for daring to do their objectives efficiently, yet have no problem when the game gives them second chance after second chance, not to mention strong loop after strong loop that most killers can’t do anything about.

Killers only have it easy due to the horrible matchmaking that throws everything together when there are not enough players for a proper match. Otherwise, when all things are equal, survivors are the ones that have it easy.

Yet killers get NOED and blood warden, definitely some balancing issues

Cleanse 5 totems before last gen pops or cleanse the lit totem after the last gen pops.

99% the doors until all teammates are ready to go or open gates and leave before the killer hooks someone.

Easy counters that solo players are to lazy or bad to use.

I do the same unless they actually do help me escape the killer during the match (I'm the weak link in most matches), in which case, I will focus gens, but at the same time, I will take hits and aggro for them if they're on death hook and I'm not.

Yea, I'm still shocked. I had to edit my post because I didn't agree with the ending of their post.

  • @Sluzzy said:

No. She has already been heavily nerfed several times. All nerfing does is make the game "unfun" as we have already seen from the survivor side. She is already penalized twice for using her power - most killers have hardly any downside at all.

There is way more Blights and Huntresses slaughtering everyone on the map. I see 9 of these other killers compared to one decent nurse.

If Nurse is still too strong it means survivors are simply too weak. 4 slowdown perks on a high mobility killer is too oppressive.

Nerf the killer meta and Nurse will feel better to verse.

In case people have forgotten, she used to be a normal speed killer with 3 default blinks. No cooldowns except for fatigue and with addons she could have 5 or more blinks. Survivors have simply been nerfed so much. Ruin didn't even exist when she was released. The killer meta is too strong.

I have honestly never thought I'd see the day for when you advocate against nerfing a killer. Color me surprised.

I'm just coming in here to respond to this.

Personally, I find that killers complain way more than survivors do. And I also personally find that survivors complaints seem way more justified than killers do. From a lot of the stuff I've seen, it seems like killers want to really turn their brains off and let the game play itself for them. Meanwhile survivors actually want a more balanced and fair match. Killers just want to gut every little thing survivors have.

Note: I will not waste my time responding. I barely check this forum as it is.

You won't bother responding because you have no leg to stand on and know that you're just extremely biased. Your whole comment describes survivors perfectly, not killers, down to the not wanting to have a discussion and only wanting to have your way.

  • Caw Caw Lady can go. I hate her so much.

I can't remember if I've been camped by a zombie. I don't see them that much. I do know they are attracted to me like magnets whenever I face Nemesis.

Why is u uninstall? U no like to play with wifu?

I'm at almost 5k hours. I played a lot during the lock down since it I basically couldn't work and was at home most of the time.

Still bad at the game tho.

  • They are probably thinking along the lines of "if BP gains were increased and players got all perks on their characters faster, they'd leave the game sooner".

Which is kinda where I am at since I mainly play Claudette, I have all the perks I want on her and I'm at the point where I'm playing less and less (used to be 15-20 matches a day down to 2-3 matches) because there really is nothing to work towards to. I don't care about getting to higher MMR, I hit my skill ceiling a long time ago (I will forever be bad), the free rift has slim pickings when it comes to cosmetics and when it comes to people who play one character like me, it gets slimmer.

I'd like to see how many players play more than 1-3 characters on average.

BTW, not disagreeing, the blood web needs to be reworked, useless items and add-ons should be purged, survivors need to be able to earn more blood points during a match, especially when they get camped and tunneled (not like they have the opportunity to earn points in different categories when the killer is on their butt) and the BP limit should be removed or increased to a billion.

the bs mmr excuse....so acting like a normal human is not from this day and age anymore? its players who refuse to adjust there playstyle towards the team there facing ( and this should be clear in the first min of a game)

You're not entitled to dictate how your opponent plays the game. Killers who play to win is acting like a normal human. You being bad at the game and not being able to beat the killer because they're better than you doesn't mean they're mean or are playing scummy if they want to play to win and not lessen up on the pressure.

The only scummy things killers can do in game is cheat by using exploits such as hacks, abusing bugs or body blocking a survivor into a corner and perhaps repeatedly hitting a hooked survivor. Everything else they do, whether they tunnel, camp, slug or play by the made up Survivors Rule Book is playing the game like a normal human.

Learn to get better at the game or ask the devs to improve their match making system so you can play against killers who are as bad as you are.

Survivors complain more than killers ever will. You get stomped in solo because either you are bad or your teammates are bad. It's an MMR issue, not a killers OP issue (unless it's Nurse).

At least when the killers complain, they usually have better arguments.

It is amazing, how they consider killers playstyle "scummy" when it is literally tactics used in every competitive DBD tournament.

People who cry about PVP being scummy, just not ready for PVP games, go back to Hollow Knight

It's just pure entitlement. Rather than reflect on how Survivor is a team role and that it's not supposed to be easy for one of them to take on the killer, they want to put the responsibility on their opponent to make sure they have fun. Yet, they never consider the killers fun when they do their best to prevent the killer from completing their own objectives.

  • @Aven_Fallen said:

Ah, yes, Killers only play scummy because the Survivors bring Perks.

The Survivors can be completely perkless and Killers would not change their playstyle.

Play scummy if you want. But dont blame Survivors for it, it is your decision to play that way and not because of them.

Tunneling, camping and slugging isn’t scummy. It may not be fun for the receiver but it isn’t scummy. It’s no different from survivors trying to efficiently complete their objectives.

  • Claudette can now walk through walls and objects.

    Or

  • If you're a masochist, solo survivor or killer.

If you want to have fun swf.

If you're a lone wolf and like a challenge, Killer.

If you're a lone wolf and want to watch the world burn, play solo survivor and don't do gens, heal behind a rock in the far corners of the map, rescue teammates in front of the killers face without Borrowed Time and hide until hatch is open. Doing totems and opening chests while your teammates are on the hook is also acceptable.

  • No, because I’m bad and can’t loop well. I’ve had them give me hatch because they’re either nice, enjoy my username, realized I was playing solo and my teammates were worse than I was and felt sorry for me or because I wasn’t toxic and/or memed around with them (booped the snoot, played target practice with Mr Cowboy).

    I know! 😈

  • No, give her and victors rocket launchers.

  • Solo games are only hard because teammates like you DC when they get downed at the start of them game. Either that or just bad teammates who don’t do gens. It has nothing to do with killers.

  • Sure, remove the fatigue, increase her movement speed to 105%, but give her only one blink that's on a 15 second cool down.

  • I'm forever bad at this game but I was finally able to break away from Self Care and Urban Evasion! My current build is: Inner Strength, Spine Chill, Lithe and Borrowed Time.

Borrowed Time is a must have for solo queue. Lots of tunnelers and it can be the difference between escape and death during end game. Inner Strength is still pretty strong. I know that boons are the hot thing now but I prefer having a solid fast heal and being able to remove NoEd before it activates. Spine Chill is good if you tend to space out and Lithe really is great at wasting the killers time for people like me who cant loop and look behind at the same time.

While it's true you are playing most of the match w/ 3 perks that doesn't really make it any more fair imo. Cleansing all 5 totems is a huge waste of time against any killer that isn't running the perk, and boons and pentimento exist now which encourage you not to.

I don't necessarily want to see it nerfed, I just want it to be reworked.

It is fair since a killer wastes a huge amount of time playing around perks that multiple survivors may or may not have. You don't need to cleanse all 5 totems, you just need to remember where they are, especially the more hidden ones and go back and cleanse it if they do have it. And again, if the killer was bad, then the team of survivors should have no problem looping them long enough to do gens and totems. If the killer was putting up so much pressure that there was no time to do totems, then frankly, they earned the NoEd activation. The only time when it's an issue is when it's a camping Bubbi boy, but that's a killer problem, not a perk one.

    Reworking is nerfing it.

I just don't use noed because I think it's cheap. I use NWO a lot though.

It's no less cheap than any perks your opponents use. At least with NoEd, you're stuck playing with three perks the whole match and are at risk of it never activating. And for the most part, you can tell when a bad killer is going to have it since they're bad and you should have plenty of time cleaning totems.
