I mean you'd want SFTS to.not be set off right? It's meant to tell you here a survivor is but then if you proc it it's useless?
My thinking was by using Spies and shooting, if a survivor was next to a crow I just scared with the shot.. they'd be revealed
-
@Oicimau said:
If the scared crows by the shot activates the Spies, i think its a bug. Its not supposed to trigger it.
Try it out at the beggining of the match, as much as there will not be a survivor close.
it doesn't proc when survivors are around, that's my issue with it.
Seems like it should.

Sorry but, what's the meaning of SWF?
Survive With Friends lobby

@Carpemortum said:
SWF can't be considered toxic. Toxic people can be toxic.
SWF is just a scapegoat. An easy one, even though 4 man tryhard squads are almost non existent.
However, flailing on hook means the killer is camping. If I see someone flailing, they stay on hook. Not getting caught by a camper.
"4 man tryhards are almost non existent"
..imagine actually believing that
-
they still haven't fixed his framerate issues sooo... i think he's just gonna be sitting in the corner for a while
-
Never got a response to this.. does anyone know if Spies is supposed to work with Redeemer shots?
-
actually 3:34, took 19 secs to load in
sad
-
eh, they do the opposite of feedback more often than not, so i'm not sure how you got to them listening to us as to not offend..
-
thread backfire
i keep mental notes based on name/pic if someone does that ######### throughout the game or taunts at gate after being bodyblocked by 3 people
don't act like an ass if you can't take it in return
-
they adjusted it in the last patch.. by adjusted they meant slowed down to sluggish proportions
love it
i don't get why they prevent us from changing sensitivity for aiming but they let survivors adjust their wiggle sensitivity to warp speed
-
I'm All Ears. I like it on Nurse and Demo.. Nurse because I can tell which way to blink when out of LOS, Demo because of T/Ls or jungle gyms, his lunge stops those in a hurry.

I love how when people share these videos it's always of killers getting 4ks. They also only ended up finishing 2 gens LOL
first reply
misses point as usual
amazing

give them exposed status for trolling
had a guy tap Thrill of the Hunt at the start of the match, I left.. go sit in your queue if you want to play like that

Sure would be nice to get another double blood point event it’s been almost three months since the last one
no kidding, throw us a bone here.. a monthly weekend bloodhunt really that much to ask for?
-
accept you lost the chase and take the hook, how's about that
-
the only time i run Beast is during a Bloodhunt and i don't give a F if i lose
-
that's a weird symbol for a ping indicator, i thought it was a symbol from tooltips about skill checks
-
I've got this too, likely a visual bug. I think it's from one of the tooltips in the loading screen.

Demogorgon, minus the 15 FPS on Xbox

Huntress can down you through a pallet.
pretty much all that needs to be said, even if this thread is bait
throw a pallet down, you can't be downed at 90% of them
it's pretty terrible

I don't understand why people complain about survivors being "toxic". because when they're toxic it benefits the killer like t-bags they're wasting their time by not running to the next loop same thing with flashlight clicking. they waste their flashlight and make less distance the only time i think i would be annoyed is if they're running god loops like the rancid building and iron works because there's nothing i can do about it except leaving them and i never never feel the need to camp or tunnel them and hell if they were the last survivor and they did well in a chase and were good sports i'd give them hatch
maybe people don't like being taunted every ######### match? who cares if 1 person is wasting time, the other 3 are setting of gens left and right.. thus they know they can taunt just to be an ass

At least be honest salty killer, tier I is immune to spine chill. smh.
not sure i agree that it's working as intended.. I played a Pig game a week or so ago with Amanda's Letter + Murky Reagent, so I was always crouched, and they still fled before I reached them. This was on The Game, so you can't tell me line of sight. At least 2 had spine chill.

Killers are no better

Are y'all serious??? "Insanely Fast Repair Speeds?" That's not a Toolbox issue! that's a Perk setup issue! ######### is even the point of these toolboxes now. even with a really good one it'd still take me 60+ seconds which is MORE THAN ENOUGH TIME for a killer to happen in my area and look for me. Now we're stuck with these useless tin cans that deplete in 6 seconds for what, 10% of the gen?
Survivor mains have a right to be mad about this update as it doesn't affect the killer's any more or less.
you are acting like you should never be found and to leave you alone in your hold M1 simulator..
-
yet i still have gens popping before i can reach them at the start of the game vs brown toolboxes
-
can i get my bloodpoints back for them? nope
-
when two browns finish a gen before you can reach it, I'd say they were buffed
-
by fixing gen speeds

I wouldn't say so. I felt that way at first, but the more time I spent playing with and against him, the more I realized that he's actually very different. Huntress does better at long ranges and in low loops (she can throw over stuff and curve her hatchets). This guy does better at close range in loops with high walls (he's got no windup time, giving him way more opportunities to use his power). He's also has no lullaby, so you can show up and shoot someone before they even know you're there if they're not paying attention.
Having played a ton of Huntress, I wouldn't say that one is objectively better than the other. Each is better in different scenarios.
could you elaborate on the reasoning for a spear on injured survivor not downing them? all they have to do is drop a pallet early and getting hit effectively punishes the killer more than survivor, for getting hit by the power.
that'd be a down for Huntress.

Tremors has a long ass cooldown and Dead Mans Switch doesnt, plus you can use perk like Nemesis and Furtive Chase to make it even more useful.
that's a whole lot of perk slots to make one not completely useless..
it's bad
-
My biggest issue is spearing an injured survivor should down them. It is asinine that you can spear an injured survivor, and they walk away as if nothing happened simply because they threw down a pallet early or something else broke the chain. Nothing like that happens for Huntress.
Spearing an injured survivor should be an automatic down, period.

I kind of disagree
Gearhead - The nerf was stupid, but the perk itself is still pretty solid, it may be a good replacement for discordance or surveillance. Nurse and Oni will get.a ton of value out of it.
Dead mans switch - This perk is basically a better, reversed version of Thrilling Tremors for high pressure killers, its basically 45 seconds of the survivors being unable to do anything, in that time you can easily down someone, go back and kick that gen.
Retribution - Alone its not really useful, but if you combine it with thrilling tremors it can be hell to go against.
As for Deathslinger, He may not be the best killer out there, but he is definitely one of the most fun and with some practice I bet anyone can stomp any survivor team with him.
dead man's switch only activates if you hook 1 specific survivor, tremors is anyone.. so no it's not better
and tremors isn't even good to begin with

You should think of how is that so many redranks can play this game without ruin ever used, but you cant?
playing without it and winning are two different things
and getting 4 kills during EGC is not a win
-
yeah i did launch it when it was 'ready to start' to see if i could go ahead and get deathslinger levelled up.. couldn't, so i quit the game.. when the update was done everything was wiped
-
i started rotating the stick in a circular motion.. may not be as fast, but how many times you really wiggle out
pressing A for struggle has ruined my A button though
-
you could use Spies from the Shadows.. maybe that would be decent? Could be like Infectious Frights every time you shoot..
-
@thrawn3054 said:
Honestly they should just eliminate the cap. Both for matches and the total you can have.
what's the point of holding onto 1 million bloodpoints? i don't get it.. there's only one thing to do with them.. do it
-
killers get tired of facing dead hard, DS, BT + toolboxes every game too.
-
@CashelP14 said:
They buffed killers, not nerfed. Doctor, Trapper and Plague were buffed.
and yet all killers were nerfed with the sabo and toolbox changes
-
makes up for the nerf, seems fair
-
Pallets are a gimmick, you can use snares anywhere and in the middle of a chase
-
@gibblywibblywoo said:
I dont want to start conflict here but if you're being beaten by survivors who just panic drop pallets and dont even loop you are either brand new or awful at killer.
have you ever played on Ormond? There are 50 safe pallets. If they drop early, you either waste your time breaking each pallet or you try to mindgame which is impossible. So your entire game is chasing pallets if that's how the survivor wants to play it.. killer has no control in those situations. you're in a pallet breaking simulator
-
I did last night and i quit the game, pretty easy choice
try to enjoy a game vs being annoyed to hell
nothing but trolls all night
-
I doubt it has ever accounted for a kill in its entire existence
-
equivalent to Haddonfield and Rotten Fields, gets a big eye roll as soon as I see it after loading screen

Oh I read it. Still laughing too. You're trying to pretend you're an adult and you TOOK TIME OFF WORK?
I'm not only physically probably older than you by twenty years but everyone on here is crushin' ya mentally.
i took a week off of work for Mass Effect Andromeda
regretted it, sadly
but still.. adults have jobs that give Paid Time Off, so what's the issue with using it in this manner? Some people rather use their vacation time to chill at home, and he scheduled it around a game he likes..

I have never seen the use for this add on
yeah knowing where a survivor is great but more often then not im already in a chase
and the not seeing jigsaw box part is unneccessary and uncalled for imo
nevermind, thought it was amanda's letter in question
-
I liked the guy that said 'you can tell you have no friends at rank 3 killer' while they are either rank 3/4/5 themselves
amazing
-
Experiment with her add ons, she has the most unique ones in the game IMO.
Messing around builds:
- Grandma's Heart + rusty shackles = 0 heartbeat and no notification they triggered a trap
- Disfigured Ear + Rusty shackles = random sound blasts with no phantasm
- Scarred Hand + Cracked Turtle Egg = collision traps w/increased duration, always amusing
Serious builds:
- Dried Cicada + Willow Wreath or Swamp Orchid = teleport distance + long aura read/reduced setting time
that's really the only one you need if you're aiming to pip
I don't care for Mint Rag personally as you'll end up teleporting to the wrong trap frequently, unless you're only setting a couple at a time. Waterlogged Shoe sounds nice, but the Hindered effect doesn't really seem to do much.. the increased base speed is nice but you can't teleport.
