I previously stated that he had nothing equipped. The killer was level 20 and had no perks, no items, no totems. Nothing. But he knew exactly where to look. I was clear on the other side of the map when he was hooking another survivor and he made a beeline straight for where I was. That's pretty impressive for a supposedly new player.
Sorry didn’t see part about no perks equipped. I play on ps4 and was playing dark souls 3 some last night and got invaded by someone who was invincible and couldn’t be killed so maybe ppl can cheat in dbd to

I’m a rank 1 killer on ps4 now but remember when I was around rank 12 I would get almost all red rank survivors anyway. Seems like it doesn’t really matter about what rank killer you are

So I've been playing DBD mobile since it released last night (I am using a Samsung Galaxy S7 currently). Played several killer & survivor matches, plus the tutorials, to see what the experience is like. While I am for the idea of DBD trying a mobile platform, my honest opinion is that it is rough to play on mobile. Here is why:
1) The controls are a bit wonky. Controlling the movement/camera at the same time is a nightmare as killer. I don't know if I'm missing something but I find it impossible to turn & direct your movement while performing a hit action. I have to hit survivors straight on & if they decide to "180" most likely I'm gonna miss & have to stop to turn around. Buttons are also a bit awkwardly placed, at least for my smaller device.
2) Killer powers are quite hard to use. I do not see it being viable in the slightest to play Nurse, Spirit, Oni (when he comes to mobile), Plague, or Billy. They require good sensitivity & the ability to make quick turns, which the game doesn't provide well enough. Suggestions I would give of who to play would be Trapper, Clown, Wraith, Ghost Face, Myers, & Hag.
3) Survivor is overly easy compared to killer. Survivor movement/camera sensitivity is not as bad as killer since they get a 3rd person POV. Skill checks will throw you off at first, but after a while they become quite easy to hit. Survivor queues for me were quick (roughly 1 min max), while killer is a 3-5 min wait. Also, though I cannot confirm it, I feel as if survivor actions (healing, repairing, etc.) are not as long as regular DBD. It feels a slight bit faster, but I have not done the testing to prove so.
4) I can't tell if survivors are actual players or bots. Some survivors have good movement that makes me believe they are real people. Others make some really questionable choices that can either be less skilled players or bots who are not that intelligent.
5) The game offers an auto aim option in the menu. I tried the game both with & without auto aim. Auto aim is tricky, as it either screws you over or helps you make them turns that feel impossible when trying to hit a survivor. I would argue that I experience it screwing me over more often because if a survivor turns it will swing way off to the side & whiffs my attack. I'm indecisive about this option.
6) Killers just tunnel & camp. Killer is already a chore in the regular game, but now everything has the difficulty of Nurse on PC. Seems as killers are just doing whats easy to get some points at the moment.
This is roughly all the issues I've had so far with DBD mobile. I know there are more than this, but these are the ones I feel hold it back quite a bit. If you have played it already, feel free to give me your opinion on it below.
Just got through playing a few games of survivor and the controls are pretty bad. Don’t know if I could ever get used to them

I paid for the game to that requires 4 other ppl to play so when you dc because your getting beat you screwed 4 other ppl over.stop being a quitter

Try being on the PS4 where players moan at your after every match. Had 1 match just now 1st game of the day as the killer and received 2 messages right away from 2 different players moaning at me. If the survivors don't escape they call it a bad match. As a killer getting 1 kill is a good match for me, so 2 kills was a bonus.
I play on ps4 to and you can set msg to friends only. Every once in a while I still get a friends request though with a nasty msg in it

Couldn't have said it any better. I never get any good killer matches anymore. I always run into red ranks that do nothing, but mock you for "Playing poorly". Taking all the fun out of the game.
The best thing you can do is turn off chat or msg because theirs so many childish players in dbd

Killer is almost instant for me on ps4 and you’ll earn a lot more bp usually than survivor

I’m hoping it gets better for new ppl trying killer out. They ain’t got the good perks unlocked yet or the experience to deal with getting match with red ranks.

As a rank 1 killer I get matched like this a lot. Hopefully the new mm their working on will be better

But the most disturbing thing about this game, of course, is survivors community. Just got of the match where I was somehow getting 2nd k but the person unhooked herself with 4% chance and dead-harded into exit gates. I left a message "woah" in the post game chat and you know what she said? "You deserved this". Apparently, I tunneled Ming who had active reverse bear-trap and escaped the trial first anyways (she also was my obsession for save the best for last). No, survivors, you deserve to have 30 minutes wait time in lobby and boring games where gens are done in 3 mins and killer gets 2 hooks. Also, I know people like to tell here: "oo, just don't listen to them, close the chat, why would you care what they say anywayz". Somehow I care and I am sick of the fact that survivors think they are skilled and point you in the chat that the killer is trash.
Another thing is that now I'm like 90% sure that the devs make ######### perks on purpose so we get to play more until a good perk will spawn in our bloodweb. Corrupt intervention? More like Insidious and Gearheaded every level.
So yeah, no dbd for now. It can really damage your mental health with how toxic and competitive it is. At least writing this post made me calm down a little bit.
maybe try to look at it as a learning experience playing ppl at red ranks you will learn a lot more than playing ppl of similar rank

Good for you. The tunneling is real on PS4.
But either way I'm not going to hate on the killer for doing this. I think it is a bad strategy because you are probably going to let 3 people get out why you tunnel 1 person out of the game. But that's the killer's choice.
At least you get to practice that looping. Which is really the best way to beat tunneling.
I play on ps4 also but not every game do I get tunneled like some ppl claim. Maybe like one out of five match’s. Like you said it’s a good opportunity to practice looping and jukes to get better. If I get caught it’s nobody’s fault but mine

You must have really bad luck or your not very good survivor because I can’t remember the last time I got camped or hardly ever get tunneled. Get slugged sometimes but that’s what Unbreakable is for.

To be honest I’ve never found a key in a chest but guess I’d use it if the killer was tunneling ppl. Not saying it’s right or wrong using a key just me personally I don’t use them or as killer a mori.

This guy just starts teabagging as well and doesn't realise that you can use the key to open the hatch. So I'm dropping the flashlight for him to trade so that I can open it, but he just keeps the key until the clown comes and finds us and kills both of us. I have never been more frustrated as survivor while playing this game. Turns out he was a rank 3 as well
When I play survivor I will not use a key to escape unless the killer has ebony Mori. Maybe that’s why he wouldn’t use it

Don’t see what’s so bad if you stay awake by alarm clock, missing skill check or by another survivor you deny Freddy of most his powers. But guess it takes time away from rushing the gens

They need to penalize the Wraith when they just camp next to you while invisible waiting for teammates to save you. Killers shouldn't be allowed to just sit right next to you. Slow them down deduct points, something needs to be done.
If a survivor gets in trouble for vaulting the same window too much, you can stop the Wraith from camping, or any killer for that matter.
Face camping is something that usually rank15 -20 killers do cause they don’t know any better or are just bad. If it wasn’t for bad survivors trying to rescue ppl from hook and rewarding them they would lose bp and pips

I was playing as Legion on the Red Forest map (pop, bbq, mad grit, and iron grasp). However, I have encountered the same issue with Spirit and Doc. It appears to be broken at different tiers of the perk as well.
I have noticed if you don’t stand and hold r1 down until the kicking animation is done it won’t work sometimes

I played a match as the Hillbilly and I aboslutely obliterated a SWF group. I am Rank 5 Killer because I try to play Killer and Survivor equally, yet I never actually played a proper match with Hillbilly until now.
Not gonna lie, might turn into a Hillbilly main. Lmao.
It might be annoying to go against him, but it's really fun to play as him, with the right perks.

Fair enough if people play with their friends but SWF is to over powered to go up against killers in this game. There needs some mort of buff to killers or nerf to SWF when people are playing together.
I DC as killer and get a penalty because of unfair SWF lobbies all the time. Why should SWF lobbies get easy matches to pad their stats, why is it the SWF lobbies only be put up against rank 3 killers for once instead of us rank 12 noob killers.
I've resorted to tunnelling the same survivor and face camping just to get at least 1 kill in the game. Is it fun for me? No, it's not fun for me having to do this. As soon as I go after someone, I get led around the map lopped over and over again by the SWF groups. So camping and tunnelling has became my only option now.
Quit dcing you will never get better by giving up. I was a rank 12 killer getting stomped on not to long ago but didn’t give up and it made me a better killer. I’m rank 4 now and still have a bad game every now and then but mostly 2k or 4K every game. As for swf they usually have one sometimes two good loopers who will follow you around and keep you chasing them. I go for the ones doing gens first cause they usually can’t loop very good just watch for the flashlight saver hiding near.make sure to pick them up facing a wall or something if you can.

Freddy makes doing good in a match a lot easier! I Love pig but could not get past rank 8 with her but switch to Freddy and am rank 4 right now
