every time i used it, seems like they heal quicker
so i stopped using it
-
the hatch itself should go, cheap mechanic to make someone who lost feel like they accomplished something

The big drawback of being a rank 1 killer is that you can't toy around with killers you don't really master and/or struggle with map pressure. For example, I like Clown, but if I play it I know that if I find a somehow good swf or a bad map I have to hope for a Brutal Killer at best - if I want to play Huntress (I'm on PS4 btw) I will struggle a lot no matter what.
That's why I end up using only the killers I know how to use well in every situation, which is a bit of a dog biting on its tail.
Also, once you are high rank, if you suck you will most probably receive a train of hate messages, which exacerbates the need to play only optimally :\ - that's the life I chose, I guess ✊
I try practicing nurse and get harassed if even one escapes.. like get off my dick. No one is impressed you escaped on Ormond vs low perk Nurse

Something is certainly needed to counter a gen rush.Camping, Ruin and Noed....
noed doesn't counter gen rush, it's just a punishment for it..

2000 shards is alot of time in the game to only get 150k bloodpoints. Think of how many matches you need to get 300 shards after level 50. Probably 6-8, depending if you do the daily survivor & killer matches. Now repeat that cycle 6 more times. ~ 40-50 matches. How many bloodpoints do you think you get from that many matches? Hell of a lot more than 150k.
if you don't like cosmetics or new killers then sure.. but the payout for 2k shards is pathetic
say you get a low score every match, 15k.. multiplied by 40.. 600,000 bloodpoints. Low end # of matches, low score. Still 600k. But the trade off is 150k..
-
Adept Nurse on Xbox.. red ranks on Thompson House.. with the reworked version of Nurse -_-
i gave up on that achievement until I got all the other killer adepts, so I had to force myself to do it.
-
how can someone apply pressure to 4 gens at once? just wondering
-
Devour Hope became useless once they added this big notification of "HEY THIS GUY HAS DEVOUR HOPE, GO FIND THE TOTEM". Please hold the hand of the survivors more. All hexes outside of Haunted are mostly useless because of the immediate alert to it. They even say when Thrill of the Hunt is in play.. why? Heaven forbid survivors have to engage their brain..

Still weirds me out how some don't get 3 pieces of 1 outfit.
i'm still bitter about the Hag not having a headpiece, the only existing one I think fits with the Bile outfit is the Snake Charmer head
-
i got Demogorgon + Ghost face outfit with the refunded cells; i didn't buy it until i reached the tier i wanted though (hag body).. might do the same thing next time if there's something worth aiming for and they guarantee unlock the tier rewards you've already passed.
-
I think it should be a perk, but work like Corrupt Intervention. A guaranteed amount of time. 3-4 mins. Unlike Corrupt, gens can still be worked on, so it should last longer.. but not the whole match.

Implying one would have time to complete 4 gens by himself.
just pick bond and follow the gen progress of your mates so you are sure to be there when it pops. Play smart whine less.
pretty sure he's implying by the time he's done with one gen another is already done.. and if you get chased, goodbye challenge
-
I usually just run the Extra Portal+Shred Recovery & portal cooldown. The things that exhaust/blind survivors when interacting w/portal are insignificant. The traversal speed is ok but doesn't really matter since it's better to have portal cooldown lowered.
I wish there was an addon to quieten his footsteps so undetectable meant something..
-
Maybe not a chest as killers can't interact with them.. put the reward in a locker. Have a faint highlight on the locker.

Imagine if survivors endlessly posted Tru3 videos of him getting 4ks quickly as proof that it should take 3 hits to down a survivor.
when he 4k's he's usually sweating his balls off, survivors don't need to play that sweaty to escape or at the very least pip

he dont have perks as you see so what you expekt??? stop cry thats fine as it is
but survivors said you don't need ruin?
what other perk could've prevented what happened? corrupt intervention maybe stops 1 of those gens. Pop wouldn't have helped as no hook.
so.. you do need perks, but if you need ruin you're bad (i've seen others say)

On PS4....
Pick Up Item Interactions: Use gens, search chests, cleanse totems, pick up items, use hatch, and self-care. I have this set to R1.
Actions: Drop pallets, vault, enter/exit lockers. I have this set to Square button.
This should be the same on Xbox. I don't know why it wouldn't be.
just went and checked, i saw "item pick up interactions" = RB; "actions" = RB; so looks like you were right, not sure why i never caught that, i guess that was default and i wasn't clear what was considered a pick up interaction

You 100% CAN change these functions to two separate buttons. I play on PS4 and use Square button to drop pallets and use R1 to use gens and self-care. Well, I don't use self-care anymore, but that's besides the point.
on xbox i've tried this many times.. there is like an "action button" which I have set as RB - that repairs gens, self heal, pallet drops, vault.. i've looked all over for the option to split them up. It doesn't exist on xbox, it binds the button to "action" or whatever it's called.

I mean it has it's niche uses, but even then there'd be perks I'd rather run for Doc.
i started running it on doc with pop, just to be irritating
seen lots of explosions even at rank 1 :P

Though no one really holds it to any high regard, people tend to rate overcharge higher than what it really is.
The perk is so bad for what it does. SOOO bad.
it's pretty decent on doctor if you put the survivors in tier 2.. the skill check can be off center and then it's pretty much a failed check
-
@PistolTimb said:
I'm pretty sure you can change your button bindings for these actions. As far as I know healing and interacting with the environment are separate actions. Could be wrong though.
on console you can't separate the two functions.. they are tied to the same button. you can change the button.. but they both are still tied to whatever you change it to

The thing is if you run it with Sloppy you put survivors in a catch 22.
Spend ages healing and never do gens.
Or do gens slower and stay injured all game.
If they refuse to heal it means 4 injured survivors pretty much all the time, which is an extra 15 seconds on the gens (80/0.84=95.2, because we are dealing with a scaling percent it's not just 3.2 seconds per survivor). When literally 2 seconds can make the difference between finishing the gen and not finishing it, that's a big deal. The reason you aren't finding value in Thana is because you're not injuring survivors enough. If you are the type to find a survivor and chase them until you catch them, Thana is not good. You need to have 2 or more injured at all times, hence why it works best with Sloppy or on killers like Legion/Plague that discourage survivors from healing in the first place. Spread the damage and use Sloppy, you will see how strong this perk actually is.
by the time you find and injure all 4 survivors you've probably lost a gen or two.. hit someone 2 times and get a 25% regression w/Pop or find everyone and make 4 hits for 16%, which 1 or 2 people can heal themselves by the time you catch and down the 4th person. It's a placebo perk
-
Thanataphobia
4% of 80 seconds for a gen is a whopping extra 3.2 seconds per person injured.. inconsequential.
-
you're like the 1% of bad RNG for the boxes.. i could spit out 5 traps 10 consecutive games and they'd be removed within 30 seconds
-
I've used her maybe twice since the changes.. tracking was nigh impossible.. she was always my go-to merciless killer too.. pretty sad
-
I believe the huge tell is when someone is downed immediately.
Just assume the killer got trolled to hell their last match and accept the death that awaits.

forgot struggle is automatic on 2nd hook.. derp :P

.16% chance for this to occur? please, something more challenging

No issues with Bloodlust framedrops on PS4? I did hear the game runs worse on Xbox.
it's not even a frame drop, it's a freeze you in place for 2 seconds while we apply this status
-
the game is like "here hold on let me help you" while it freezes you in place
bloodlust always kicks in right before a lunge.. curious

The fact it didn't work once doesn't mean it has no purpose.
i only gave one example, doesn't mean it's failed only once. Has anyone ever snuck up on a survivor as Demogorgon - even though he has this 'stealth' status? Undetectable doesn't work on him, it's quite obvious.
-
thoroughly disappointed.. thanks for the info though
-
I noticed when doing Oni i kept getting low chase points after getting one hit downs.. I did a full match never using his power, Iri chaser.. pretty lame. Gen protector is always the worst though, only get to use 3 perks, and some killers have zero gen slowing perks, it's honestly ridiculous for some killers. Oni adept was some of the least fun i've had, that Windows perk is so distracting and zero gen perks.
-
@thesuicidefox said:
Other than when hit or hooked. No Mither should not leave drops of blood.
if they are hit, the Oni doesn't get any power because they are downed.. he only gets power from injures.
seems fair to me, they bleed constantly and give power in increments, that's the trade off
if no mither gave zero blood, the oni would never get his power vs a team of 4 no mithers.. just as an example

use the lettuce head
$5 right? nope
i already paid $10 to unlock the body (and other things obviously)
and the lettuce head isn't really that good with it, the one with horns was better.. but that's still $5 too, no shard options
-
all the killer adepts are just slogs with the new emblem system, the gen emblem was always silver/gold at best when everything else was iri. You just have to keep grinding until you get a really altruistic team that ignores gens, and make sure you get all 12 hooks basically. His perks dont really help until the end game so it's really just a blank freddy vs 4 survivors. You used to be able to have slowdown add ons.. but.. -- I'd still run the rope addons as that's about all you got.
I know Freddy doesn't have this, but I kept getting penalized in Chaser with one hit down killers.. really annoying. I just recently finished Oni and Demogorgon.. f'ing horrible time. I had to quit using Oni's power because of Chaser penalty.
