What money purpose was that? Did they release an outfit for him or something?

Nah he's just one of the most popular killers

  • Personally I'd love to see a year with no chapters and a focus on fine tuning, balancing and stabilising the game. Unfortunately I think a lot of the player base would expect new content and drift away after a few months of no new stuff. Plus financially I'd imagine bhvr probably relies on the regular income from chapter releases

  • @cogsturning said:

If you're new or returning after years, there's a lot of stuff to learn and it's way to much to ask of people, particularly as survivor with there being so many killers to learn, plus their add-ons and perks. I wouldn't want to be starting this game for the first time.

But personally i think people think they need meta perks more than they do, they're just too afraid to venture away and try odd builds. I've never used DS, DH, or most Exhaustion perks. Dont use Windows either. I'm running a stealth build right now and my ER for the last 30 days—with over 200 matches—is 62%. And that's mostly soloq. Everyone is so used to seeing the same perks all the time that off-meta is more likely to catch your opponents off-guard.

Feel like killer is the opposite problem though, you pretty much have to run meta perks on a killer. Sub par killer perks just straight up don't work well and won't trigger much, giving you little or no advantage.

  • Hit the nail on the head tbh. Bhvr are complicating the game into a corner. Soloq is as painful as it ever was, and killers have to run sweaty meta builds to be able to keep up with most halfway decent swfs.

All the "balancing" is just bottlenecking the potential different playstyles into forcing ayers to be as efficient as possible. Which isn't fun.

  • Yh he's been getting crazy hits still. No idea why he got unkillswitched in that state.

Oh how I miss Lightburn being a thing.
I wish it was more built upon instead of being removed

Same, gave her a unique counterplay. Where as now beyond mind gaming there isn't much you can do

Not a fan of that combo either. Not the strongest, but it really feels like a cheesy way of getting free hits.

Yeah, I tried it out once and it's honestly busted. Like I triggered it mid chase when my victim led me past an on progress gen for an unavoidable hit

  • @TicTac said:

The counterplay for Sadako is extremely easy. Just keep the TV next to your gen off. The problem with Midwitch and some other maps is that TVs are sometimes on the other floor.

That said not many survivor apparently know the counterplay. Its really easy to get moria against the average team. And good Sadakos get high winstreaks and performed well in the last Hens-showcase.

I know how to counterplay her. But there always seems to be one oxygen waster every match who never uses tapes and just gets morid at 4 gens

  • It has changed the feel of the game for the worse. When I play killer I feel very hard up against it, can't miss a beat because it costs me time I don't have and I lose gens very quick and as surv (who is distinctly mid at chase) I need every member of the team to be on point or killer snowballs.

Overall game speed is up and it makes the games a little too high pressure for my liking. Would prefer it to feel a little more tactical. Plus it prevents a lot of older slower killers i.e. trapper, ghostface and after her nerfing skull merchant from being relevent anymore.

So many dashslop killers being release (ghoul, krasue, looking at you) because slower killers just aren't viable anymore.

  • I too hate this perk combo, it's very cheesey. Made a similar post (just without all caps) myself back when henry got released.

Unfortunately bhvr decided it was a fair interaction and added some text to the description of either the addon or turn back the clock, can't remember offhand, to make it clearer that that's how it works.

Can't say I'm a fan but heyho, apparently it's intended and balanced. At least I don't see it very often.

  • @Thusly_Boned said:

People always say Nurse and Legion (for good reason), but imo the issue there is that you can't meaningfully rework them without just full on reinventing their power. Like back to the drawing board type stuff, because they are fundamentally broken.

And that sounds fine to me, but you pretty much risk alienating all the players who have mained them for years. Like Skull Merchant, exept there are people who actually care about Nurse and Legion.*

Which brings me to my answer, which is Skull Merchant. Because she is all but a dead killer, they can get away with a total reinvention. I am disappointed they seemingly abandoned their proposed overhaul; not because I liked it particularly, but because the way they have left her is just another useless half measure.

If you're gonna do it, do it.

Other candidates for me would be Ghostface and Sadako, the latter in particular, because I think she's only a tweak or two from being good. And Ghostface's reveal mechanic is a joke.

*I am partially joking, I know trash canning Skully has been rough for her mains, but the reality is that there just aren't many of you.

Not sure if you saw it when I posted it but i made a thread about rebalancing nurse, not by reworking her power but by adding a built in counter to it like you see with xenomorph, wesker, nemesis etc. Be interested to hear your thoughts on it.

    @HoodedWildKard said:

Haven't seen her for a while but had 3 nurse games in the last 2 days and been unpleasantly reminded how absolutely cracked and unpleasant to go against she is. Got me thinking, she's universally considered one of the S tier killers, probably the best and easiest to get good with. Her S tier brother blight is recieving a pretty major nerf in the near future, and I think she needs looking at as well.

How to do it without absolutely gutting her? You can't really change her blink much without ruining it, and a full rework would just turn her into a totally different killer. So. Give her the xeno/wesker/nemesis/singularity treatment. Add a type of tool that spawns in the trial for her games that allows you to counter her power or supress it briefly.

The issue with her is that she has no counterplay, you can try and mindgame her a little but against a good nurse that chase is going to end mucho quickly. So make something that allows survivors to get a bit of decent chase time against her to give people half a chance to do gens.

    Few different themed ideas:

An aoe that supresses her power similar to the emp for singularity, (could be some sort of charm or like a photo of her husband) could also be placable like xenos turrets as a one shot counter that fizzles after and has to be replaced.

An adrenaline syringe that can be used for speed bursts, maybe with 2/3 uses and a 20/30 second cool down in between. It's medically themed and adds an element of skill to countering her, making nurses consider speed bursts into planning blinks.

Some kind of stealth tool to allow you to temporarily hide from her, like turn invisible for 2/3 seconds, again with multiple uses and a sizable cooldown.

Fight fire with fire, a charm or artifact that allows the survivor to briefly copy nurses power and blink to avoid her. Probably a one shot.

Bring back lightburn: perhaps add guaranteed torch spawns or a specialised item that allows survs to hinder nurse during a blink, requires good timing and skill.

Would be interested to hear people's thoughts. I certainly don't want to see nurse gutted and nerfed into the ground. But it would be nice to have a bit of counterplay against her and not simply hope the nurse player is bad.

But yh nurse definitely, she's a relic from when they didn't know how to balance the game right. All they've really done is lock her out of basic hit perks and buff her by removing the lightburn mechanic. (Idk why they felt the need to do that)

Other candidates would be skull merchant and maybe trapper. Both super weak now, and trapper is literally the game's posterboy, needs a bit of love.

  • @cammoking123 said:

Sadako is the killer that most desperately needs a rework. All she has going for her is teleporting, which isn't that great. I honestly feel that she's the weakest killer in the game. It's definitely between her and Skull Merchant for title of the worst.

Wasn't she already reworked? Now that she can teleport spam all you need with her is a relatively compact map like midwich or gideons and you're able to stack condemned constantly on people and get the mini mori more easily. All you need to do is spot a surv running a tape across the map and you hook them to lock in condemned.

She's much better than she was, and all you need is one surv to slip up and you get an early mori and the game is basically won

  • Shame. I kind of resent having demogorgon as my killer main and yet I cannoth get my adept with it 😑

Then you are stronger than I am. I am the survivor that sticks close to watch it happen.

I'm also the survivor that will 99 a gen then trap it, just so I can finish right in Ghostface's ghost face during his stun animation and be the first thing he sees when his vision comes back.

I deserve the resulting shiv between the ribs, but I can't help it.

The best thing about Blast Mine is I don't need to kick again with Nowhere to Hide to just know the survivor is nearby. Kinda like an arsonist always returning to the scene of the crime, a Blast Mine user is always going to watch the fruits of their misdeeds. Mirrored Illusion is the same.

Oh when I use blast mine I clear as MUCH distance from the gen as possible so killer doesn't realise I was the culprit. Tends to lead to getting tunneled if I dont 🤣

Still cackle like a goblin with a stick of dynamite when I see the noise notification 😈

  • @100PercentBPMain

    plays with puzzle box

  • My most hated killer perk is a toss up between franklins and NOED. Bloodwarden never bothers me any more since me and my team learned to not open gates when killer's about to hook.

As for survivor perks? I reserve a special hatred for blast mine. Maybe because I tend towarda gen kick builds. Doesn't stop me taking a perverse glee when I use it against killers though 🤣

i generally feel Im All Ears is more consistent then Predator as well

Yeah works wonder on high wall loops and shack. I use it on henry as well

  • Mood, I've so recently started playing nurse a lot because of the collector skin. Aura reading is so strong on here, my build is very similar but instead of predator I run I'm All Ears. It's super useful for nurse, allows for easy blink hits after someone goes for a vault, especially when combod with lethal.

I'm pretty mid with her though. Playing on console so my blink hits are less than reliable.

  • It's weaker on its own now since it doesn't remove charges anymore. But it's still my most hated perk and a straight up perk ban in me and my groups custom game. Irritates the hell out of me when I get slapped, drop a purple item, don't realise initially then spend the rest of the game trying to remember where I got hit so I can gety item back.

But it is made a lot more effective when combod with weave attunement. Absolutely hate going against that perk combo.

  • Demo is my boooii.

Was a huge fan of it as a monster in stranger things, a unique and fresh idea for a monster, not just another tired trope. The idea of playing one in dbd was the thing that originally piqued my interest in playing the game.

Unfortunately I was a bit late to the party as I decides to start playing after dbd lost the licence for the stranger things content and it unavailable in the store.

I did some research and found out the physical nightmare edition of the game for xbox had the stranger things content preloaded and as long as it was played on that disk I could play as demo, nancy and steve. I then got involved in a bidding war with someone on ebay for a copy, i won and ended up paying £70 for a copy.

Then I was ready. I fired it up and my first demo game is a very vivid dbd memory for me. Macmillan estate shelter Woods back when it just had a big tree. I had an absolute blast stalking the survivors through the woods, portaling around, leaping from the bushes to shred my unsuspecting victims. It culminated in a 4k with me finishing off a leon who'd been flashlighting me all game.

To this day demo is is still my absolute favourite killer, his basekit suits my tactical stealth ambush playstyle and imo it's in a great place balance wise, not the strongest killer, but in the right hands an absolute menace. Sits in that great middle ground where he's a challenge to play against but not an auto loss for survs. Finally got round to the p100 grind and 75% of the way through.

So when i come up with a point I'm just "assuming" and yours are supposed to be taken as read?

You're basically saying "I want this killer so it should happen" and "it'll be easy to implement" without really any backup argument other than your say so.

First off: You're the one who's acting like you're factually correct, with the way you're phrasing your arguments. Everything i've said in relation to Henry in 2v8 is based purely off what i know and think about Henry and his gameplay and current balance in 1v4. If what i'm saying was supposed to be taken as read, i wouldn't be using words like ''I don't agree'' or ''I believe'' or ''I feel like'' when talking about it.

Secondly: I too am very familiar with Henry's power, but here's the thing, it doesn't matter if we are or not. Unless we can actually test him in a 2v8 environment, we cannot know with certainty how strong Henry will be there in practice. We cannot rely entirely on his strength in 1v4, because the balance is different from 2v8. The only one who can know for certain is bhvr, because they're the ones who actually have to implement and balance him for the game mode. So they're the only ones who can truly speak to how hard or easy he'll be for them to balance, and if he'll be an issue or not.

Agreed we are just theory crafting here. And i think we're talking at crossed purposes a bit. I'm not saying henry would be over or underpowered for 2v8. I'm saying his kit is mechanically difficult to adapt for 2v8, he has a very complicated basekit compared to most killers AND he introduces new map elements. This makes him difficult to add to 2v8. And judging by the killers bhvr have added, and explicitly avoided killers who do add new map elements (except nemi and wesker who they amlagated.

This evidence points to the fact it's unlikely they'll invest so much effort to add him to 2v8. Don't get me wrong, I'd live to see him added to 2v8. I just don't think it'll happen.

  • @CuzImTim said:

You would think only having 4 perk slots would make this easy. Instead, the sheer amount of options combined with only having 4 slots often leaves me completely overwhelmed.

To be more precise: making a functional build isn't the hard part. So far I've mostly used generalist builds that work reasonably well on every Killer. And that's fine. But I want to start building specifically around each Killer's power, and that's where I get lost.

I mean, sure, I could just slap on 4 slowdown perks and call it a day. But even then, what actually are the best slowdown perks? Pain Res is a given, but then what? Pop? Eruption? DMS? Deadlock? Grim? Maybe Ruin + Undying? Or Ruin + Penti? Or Ruin + Penti + Thrill and we go full Hex.

And then I'm on Lery's with 0 info perks and realize I can't even find profitable chases consistently.

I just don't know where to start with the actual decision-making process.

How much info do you realistically need before it becomes a crutch? How many slowdown perks can you give up? When are Hex builds actually worth running? What kinds of Killer powers benefit most from Hex perks? Which Killers want chase perks instead?

Obviously there isn't one objectively correct answer, especially because builds depend heavily on playstyle. But I would really like some kind of framework or heuristics for build creation beyond pure trial-and-error, just so I have some actual direction when making builds.

My usual rule is use at least 1 regression perk and 1 aura read/location perk.

It's also very killer dependant, certain perk builds tend to work better on particular killers. Play the killer a bit and figure out what sort of build suits your playstyle with that killer.

It's best to stack perks that work with each other. I tend to like gen kick builds, nowhere to hide, pop and eruptions allow you to stack 3 perk effects on one genkick action. Apply pop, reveal an aura near the gen, down the revealed survivor for the eruption proc. Massive regression, and an easier down in a short space of time. I usually run lethal pursuer with thst build to get a quick start and more juice out of my aura reads.

Look for weird interactions, i.e. basic hit triggers may not be a good shout with ranged killers.

The 2v8 maps already feel cluttered when playing with wesker/nemesis. 2 separate sets of killer items would start to get ridiculous.

    Subjective.

Plus we don't know if there are any hardware issues with it.

If hardware issues was a thing on a Killer, then the issue would also be present in 1v4 for them to some degree as well.

Plus, then it's bhvr's job to fix said hardware issue.

And adding hard to balance killers requires much more work and bhvr have to measure that work, which would cost money and take away from other projects like new chapters, cosmetics and balancing updates, against how beneficial the change would be.

Everything cost money to do, and you don't really know for sure if Henry is going to be hard to balance or not, you only assume so.

I'd rather bhvr add him and then remove him later if needed.

And leaving individual killers out of the 2v8 roster isn't really a huge problem. Noone is going to quit the game because freddy or vecna or whoever didn't gamet added to 2v8.

Maybe, maybe not, i do know however that it will cause disappointment to have any 2v8 fantasies be denied.

And henry's basekit would be hard to balance for 2v8 despite what you say. Every killer added to 2v8 has been changed for it. And henry's basekit is complicated to say the least.

Again, you only assume it'll be hard to balance. I don't agree that it is, despite the complexity of his kit.

Heck they had to retrospectively remove legion from 2v8 because they made a massive balls up by putting legion in 2v8 in the first place.

I mean, people didn't like Legion in the first place due to the whole applying Deep Wound. and Killers like Legion & Knight have less skill expression about their powers, compared to Killers like First, Blight & Nurse.

Also there's a difference between a hard Killer and a annoying Killer. Plus, unlike Legion, Henry has no way of actually catching up to Survivors, which is why Sprint Burst is effective against him. Honestly if anything, i believe Henry don't really need much adjustment for 2v8 since his kit is already decently balanced enough. Maybe a slighty buff at most, but that's about it.

I don't see them putting in that amount of work to then get massive complaints because he's in worldbreaker almost constantly and getting loads of easy hits off the constant aura read.

The aura read is not constant, it's only when either a generator is complete or when kicking a generator, depending on which class he or his Killer partner uses.

Plus, he still dependant on LoS and he's gotta predict Survivors' movement to actually get a hit to begin with. He's closer to that of Nurse & Blight in terms of skill expression, and those two Killers are still in 2v8 despite complaints about them even before 2v8.

I also feel like you overestimate Henry's powers. He's strong in the right hands yes, but he's got a pretty clear counterplay and he's not Nurse or Blight levels of strong, and they, again, are still in 2v8.

So when i come up with a point I'm just "assuming" and yours are supposed to be taken as read?

You're basically saying "I want this killer so it should happen" and "it'll be easy to implement" without really any backup argument other than your say so.

I am very familiar with how henry's power works, and with the balance of 2v8. And he would straight up be an issue. Every killer that is put into 2v8 has to be rebalanced to fit that mode and that takes a lot of work. Currently none of the killers in 2v8 have a particularly complicated power, because it makes them easier to add to the mode. Henry's has a lot of variables to balance and that would not be easy to do, and if it was done badly then it would cause massive complaints. I doubt they want to try to add then have to remove or massively rebalance another killer.

  • @Smoe said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/4078563#Comment_4078563

Then bhvr needs to increase the amount of Killer items that can spawn on a map, something which shouldn't be too hard to do since they've already increased the size of the maps in 2v8. Plus a quarter of the Killer roster have interactable items, they kinda have to do it, if they want them added.

I don't believe Henry's kit would be difficult to balance. Imo, the only thing bhvr really needs to focus on, is the stats related to Vine attack and Undergate Attack. The mini-mori itself is irrelevant in relation to his balance in 2v8, and the tokens required to start Worldbreaker feels like it is relatively simple to deal with.

Plus, even if they nerf him, a really skilled Henry player can still get plenty of value out of him.

It's an exponential problem. The 2v8 maps already feel cluttered when playing with wesker/nemesis. 2 separate sets of killer items would start to get ridiculous. Plus we don't know if there are any hardware issues with it.

And adding hard to balance killers requires much more work and bhvr have to measure that work, which would cost money and take away from other projects like new chapters, cosmetics and balancing updates, against how beneficial the change would be. I never said that exposed is unbalanced, it simply too common and it never feels good to be hit with and on the other hand it doesnt feel good if you dont hit the survivor with 1 hit down.

Killers like ghostface, myers, billy, bubba, oni are boring to play against but cool to play as when you get 1 hit downs. When I play against them it feels like a waste of time. Kaneki is more fun to play against even when i get the succ through a boulder or a wall.

I never run vigil because there are more interesting choices, like literally any "press a button" perk is more fun to play with than passive that helps 5% of the time.

Sure I can run sprint burst with toolbox and mow through gens as fast as possible but whats the point?

It's common but easily avoidable was my point. Heck only time I've been downed by exposed in the last month was yesterday in a 2v8 game where a ghostface and trapper teamed up because I'd been a menace all game and was holding a trapper on a loop while the ghostface snuck up and marked me. Which was fair play tbh. I tied up 2 killers for a long time.

Hi, guys! Recently, I've been harassed and targeted by a streamer 'cause I was playing survivor in a match where there was an Ace that was cheating, and the streamer in question was the Killer. He was beyong himself, and his moderator claims that Behavior has stated that survivors who leave through the gates when there is a cheating survivor in the match are "accomplices", and will be banned as if they were cheating as well.

Is that true? Can someone please link me Behavior's statement about the issue?

'Cause I did my job as a honest player and reported the Ace in the post-match screen. I went to his live to tell him I've reported the Ace as well and wish him good games, and in the end, got targeted and harassed.

It's not an official answer but as long as you weren't cheating yourself, you should be fine. If you were repeatedly partied up that player then that may be a different issue. But if you weren't SWFing with them and you reported them then you should be ok.

Streamers (hell even normal players) will talk absolute rubbish and tout it as fact. Particularly when they're annoyed.

I've had a streamer accuse me of break terms of service in 2v8 by "double teaming" them alongside my killer team mate. They apparently reported me for cheating because of it. Obviously it doesn't break the rules of dbd. They were just salty they got outplayed and wanted to try and intimidate me. Had a similar situation with another non streamer who got salty i tunneled them out and let 2 other survivors go, they got another person to message me and say I'd been reported for breaking terms of service. Nothing happened either time because i never broke terms of service.

  • I would like to see knight in 2v8. He can apply great pressure by forcing survs into chase and damaging gens hands free.

Tbh, thats sort of on them. Also if you have a game where if given the change people would avoid 100% of the player base then the game has bigger problems than avoid function

It's not an issue with dbd. It's the people in pvp games. People like to win, and the vast majority of people will simply avoid those they lose against and not avoid the people they beat. But the people they beat will avoid them.

After a bit of this practically nobody will be able to find a match. It'd kill the game stone dead in a month or two.

Yeah I agree it would be tricky to add him, as much as I'd like it. He has a lot going on. I often use the survivor who's worst at dodging me to farm stacks to be almost constantly in World Breaker. Matchmaking being nonexistent is 2v8 would make that very easy to do, and with so many of them running about, it'd be near permanent.

I also feel like World Breaker going on and off would be annoying as hell for the other killer. It's satisfying to me as Henry but if I was just trying to play Wraith I feel like it would aggravate me.

I hear that, the sound and pallette change already feels obnoxious when I play against him 🤣

  • You're welcome 😊 always happy to help another player. Feel free to dm me on here and i can add you on dbd and maybe we can play and i can give you a hand with builds and such.

  • @Jejune said:

An example 3v1, 4 gens left 4 hook states left and the killer just slugs remaining survivors… (Chucky)

Regardless of whether I want to go next game at that point, if I am in that match as survivor I am not really playing an actual match, I am playing pick me up from the ground for 10 minutes.

In the long run it will save me more time to not have to play against someone like that ever again, then me having to waste my time being in the match, since I can't abandon and I cant AFK.

    As a sidenote:
Did I think about the effects it would have on match making? Yes.
Does it matter that it would lead longer Queues? No,
Would you much rather wait longer for better matches? Yes.

Ngl you said you thought about queue times but you didn't seem to realise it would absolutely nuke queue times to the point it would kill the game.

Everyone and their mum would smash that no replay button after a vaguely bad game. Everytime they lose they'd lock themselves from ever playing against that player again. After a week or two of that people straight up wouldn't be able to get games.

  • Ghostface the only killer with basekit exposed is considered basically the worst killer in the game.

Exposed is annoying but it's not really unbalanced. Most of the perks that cause exposed are super situational. Friends till the end can be countered just by jumping in a locker to prevent revealing your location then just hiding till the exposed goes.

And most of the exposed perks are just kinda bad. The only one that I have a problem with personally is NOED, and that's just because it annoys me. Dragons grip, starstruck, hubris etc all are super bad on their own. If you want to make them work you have to gear your whole perk build to it. Then you're a one trick pony and your build has no versatility.

Running vigil can help get rid of it quicker.

  • It is nice to see positive interactions like this, especially in 2v8. Last time I had a baby killer teammate in 2v8 I got cussed out by a streamer, because I noticed they were bullying the spirit so i start rotating over to help get downs and stop them flashlight blinding her during down. They were very unamused that I helped my team mate.

No genuinely cuz it's getting really frustrating to play against survivors who can finish 3 gens at once because I chased 1 person for 30 seconds.
Like I have no holds, it's pretty good at slowing the game down but I don't want to always use it, that would be boring. I don't want to have to always use pure gen slowdown. Any tips?

Best way is to find ways of applying pressure. Identify which gens are being focused on and make sure you keep presence around them. Run good regression. Try to keep chases around the gens to discourage ppl working on them. Hooking near gens you are defending is also tactically helpful, allows you to both prevent gen work and proxy camp to get hits from unhook attempts and help you snowball.

Pain res/dms is great for this, it's hands free regression and immediately identifies which gens you want to put pressure on.

Another one is to identify which gens you can afford to lose. If you can force a 3 gen it'll make things much easier late game. Losing gens early isn't a huge issue unless the survs manage to split the gens. You can snowball well late game as long as you don't have two separate clusters of gens you have to keep traipsing between.

Its because its different option. You need to change the option of Hooked/Downed survivors to be blue too if you want them to be blue. Still its interesting that there is still "Hooks with survivor on it" option too but not 100% sure is that meant to be the hooks color as preview shows the survivor only.

Ty for the heads up. I'll need to find and change that option. Make downed survs easier to spot.

I don't agree on it being so difficult to bring in ST Vecna, while some interactable items are harder to implement than others, they are ultimately not anything near impossible to actually include.

Vecna's Grandfather clocks gets used very quickly by Survivors in 1v4 anyway, it wouldn't make the biggest difference in 2v8. So if anything, it would actually be relatively easy to add him.

I think it's more about how much they can put in the map. Currently the only killers that add interactable objects to the map are nemesis and wesker, and they had to almagamate them if they're both in a trial. If you have henry and wesker or nemi in the same trial you need 2 sets of static item spawns, plus the extra chests and the tonics.

Also I think henry's base kit would be very difficult to balance for 2v8. Double the number of survs causes big issues when it come to adding tokens on individual survivors, like 4 tokens per person would be hard to reach for his mini mori with so many survs to deal with. Does it get dropped to 3? They'd need to look at worldbreaker itself too, 2 hits would be much easier to manage with so many survivors knocking about so he'd be almost constantly in worldbreaker mode.

Don't get me wrong, i really want to see him in 2v8. But i recognise he'd be a difficult killer to add and balance.

  • I love how the mods never reply to these threads. Really gives us the impression that they are taking the issue seriously, totally not burying their heads in the sand about it, not in slightest. 🙄

  • Mm idk, while unseen still helps when actively in chase with a survivor. Maybe while unseen and not in chase with a cool down of 10 secs when chase ends. Tbh it's a fairly negligible change as far as traversal goes anyway.

does anybody want will, just out of curiosity?

Ngl not particularly. Will and mike are pretty uninteresting characters.

I'd rather see hopper and joyce added or maybe lucas and max.

Gonna have to wait until bhvr do a Stranger Things theme'd 2v8 most likely, they did after all mention during a livestream that there are almost enough Survivor characters to make a full Stranger Things 2v8.

Yeah that would be cool. It's a real shame that The First would be so difficult to add to 2v8.

Having him and a demo running around chasing a full team of ST survivors would be such a vibe.

I really like the Cemetery Grotesque Cosmetic for Sable Ward, but the large bright blue wings make the survivor much more visible during matches and can put players at a stealth disadvantage. Would it be possible to add a toggle or alternate style option to remove the wings while keeping the main outfit? I think this would improve customization and make the cosmetic more practical for gameplay while still keeping the design players love. Thank you for considering the feedback

Agreeing with the previous reply, the idea is that when you use cosmetics you choose between style and stealth.

Bright outfits to grab the killers attention and encourage chase, more muted ones to allow you to hide more effectively.

Dead by Daylight has had a lot of changes over the years, but one of the nerfs that I still don’t understand is Chucky’s speed. With The Shape rework, we have a killer who can become undetectable and dash. We have several killers who can dash a lot further like Wesker. These killers are all 4.6/ms. So why is Chucky still 4.4/ms? Why is Chucky the same speed as really powerful killers like Blight and Spirit? Someone help me understand.

It makes sense. His legs are too short to run at 4.6 🤣

In all seriousness he is so short that it's very difficult to loop him on any high wall loops

Oh come on, you know you want it too now that you've see him in (almost) all his glory 🤣

The, uh, "thirsty" part of the DBD community never ceases to amaze me in the strangest ways lmao

Tru dat, I wish i could remove the knowledge of the phrase "vommy mommy" from my poor brain.

  • Man i wish we could get some more demo skins. Only have 4 not including the base one 🥲

I forsee the anniversary chapter and I tell you it is going to be a T-Rex

You joke but I've always thought the indoraptor would make for a cool killer

  • Ghostface is actively considered one of the worst killers in the game. Most killer tier lists i see have him at the bottom.
