  • While I'm not a fan of terrifier, the idea of a killer being "too violent" for dbd is laughable. Anyone who plays a game like this and balks at violence is very strange indeed. Tbh most of the gory moris are from original killers.

Lately i cant play Skull Merchant so ive been learning how to play Nurse, generally ive been struggling, not used to her power, and i just overextend or get faked into a wrong blink, one incident i went past the exit gate. my build is currently

    Sloppy Butcher

    No Holds Barred

    Im All Ears

    Lethal Persuer

does anyone have any tips or recconmendations

Also im making a list of beginner builds for every killer, for those who are new to the game here. if anyone is interested

I've been starting to play her too recently, now that she has the collector skin. Your build sounds good except for sloppy which as ppl have said doesn't really work for her. It only triggers on basic attacks and her blink strikes are special attacks. I'd advise running scourage hook weeping wounds and instead of deadlock run pain res. Synergises scourge hooks, and gives good hands free regression which nurse needs since she's not mobile and shouldn't waste time kicking gens. She always benefits from aura reads.

  • I wondered why survs were squelching my portals more than usual recently.

  • Well that'll be my prestige 100 grind for demo finished. And a few spare for the new characters I've neglected

  • Spirit can be hard to counter if you don't know how/don't have decent headphones. And once you're injured it's near impossible to shake her.

And krasue is just super annoying to play against, it's difficult to avoid her ranged attack with it's homing aoe mini projectiles and when you're infected you just get dashed down constantly, plush the mushroom cure for the infection is next to useless. As it takes so long to clear it.

  • No worries 😊 wouldn't want you to suffer more for that person's toxic behaviour.

I never understood people who rub salt in others wound.

I have another one where i played soloq and we got mirror Myers on shelter woods. He got maybe 1 or 2 hooks i think.

His perks werent lvled up, He lost his hexes fast and was being looped by one guy (dont remember who but it wasnt feng). Feng was bming him whole match and was spamming EZ.

And then survivours will complain about killer tunneling, bming, using meta etc

I always hate this. Like, when you absolutely rofl stomp a killer there is no need to flashlight click and bag at the exit gates. Just take your win and don't be an ass hat. I even call out one of my regular swf mates for doing it. And people wonder why the game can be so toxic.

There is this guy called mango who plays Nurse with sweaty builds and i played against him 2 times, 1 time with my friend who just started game

1st match, Vee got hatch. It just happened that Sable was from the same country as we are

It was funny ngl, i needed to screenshot those.

This dude sounds a pathetic toxic af little goblin. But i would advise editing your post text and images to censor their in game name. Forum has rules against naming and shaming and you could get banned for it

  • Yeah it's all fine. I let players go on the regular, to the point that sometimes the players I do kill have crashouts that I let other people go, and threaten to report me for teaming or what have you. Never got banned for it.

  • Not bad for a beginner build. Urban evasion is the one that isn't really doing much, it does help with stealth but ideally you want to get better at chase.

Stakeout isn't bad but I'd add hyperfocus as they synergise really well. Unbreakable is a bit niche too but really clutch when you can use it.

Another good beginner perk I'd suggest is windows of opportunity. It really helps with chase a lot especially when you're quite new and allows you to chain pallets together to stay up longer.

  • Worst one recently was against a ttv streamer. I was playing iri coin/undetectable deathslinger, usually i Play chill and let people escape if I'm doing well but I had a tome challenge for a 4k so I was playing hardball.

They finish the first 2 gens very quickly, gallows and main done by the time I had 2 hooks. They put a lot of work (about 70%) on the central street gen near shack so that was the priority or I'd lose all control pf the game I started to guard and hook to play around there to stop them working on it and get hooks when they tried.

Pretty tough game, ended up slugging for the 4k when the streamer and one other had been killed, last dwight was a chase god and was hiding for a while, by the time got crows they were able to run out the bleed out timer and get hatch. I jumped in their stream after to gg and chat and they instantly banned me from chat after accusing me of cheating and playing toxic.

I watched the Vod back and they were talking mad s**t about me after the first 30 secs in game. Apparently lighting more than on pentimento hex is hacking and guarding a gen is a "bannable offence" absolute entitled nonsense. Some people really can't handle a killer playing to win, real main character syndrome.

Idk I don't use it? I just imagine it to be hard because his attacks are more or less quick xD

I'll have to give it a try. I think it'll be a gimme. The aoe appears just before the damage proc so dh should be easy to time. Be nice to run it again actually. Haven't used it in forever.

I played against old dead hard before. I'm actually less annoyed by getting dead harded now than by the people using it sometimes.

There's a specific type of people using this perk that can't loop longer than 20 seconds but somehow dead hard your attack perfectly. This doesn't extend the chase by much because yet again they can't loop and die relatively shortly after, but it's just so increadible annoying to see.

That being said I'm pretty impressed by people dead harding st-vecna attacks, it's insane xD

Tbh i haven't used it in forever. I'd imagine it's probably pretty easy to trigger on henry's vine attacks? Since it's telegraphed.

  • Most of these I can get behind as they are pretty weak. But damn wesker and drac do NOT need buffs. 3 dash wesker on 1v4 would be intolerably hard to play against, especially with all the hit box issues and dodgy grabs he's getting atm. Don't think wraith needs it either.

Sidenote as a nemesis player, 3 zombies in 1v4 would be too much. It would put way touch pressure on gens.

  • It aint horror but we can have basically any IP added for survivors nowadays so I don't see why not. Few more military Bill-esque survs might not be a bad thing. Haven't been involved with CoD for years but even I have fond memories of soap from original mw and mw2 back in the day.

  • Ah right. Yh it was used to greed pallets so much. But it was satisfying to outplay in the open. Used to love seeing ppl pull the dh pose, then clapping them.

Dramaturgy is literally old dead hard without endurance

Also dead hard is still great because if you just barely won't make a pallet you can press E or if you wanna greed the pallet when the killer swings for it press E same goes for windows but all in all I don't think its worth a nerf

Uh what? Dramaturgy is nothing like DH. 0.5 speed boost and random effect versus post hit haste and killer hit recover animation? Very big difference

And yes i qhen dh can be triggered for best effect. My point was it used to be more problematic because it was locked to hook states. It qas a straight up exhaustion perk.

Exactly. Just that there grown @$$ Adults throwing a tantrum like you would see a toddler throw one. Its comedy Gold

It is so funny. Damn you shoulda seen the one who crashed out at me over a 2v8 match. I was playing nemi, my killer team mate was a spirit who was absolute dogwater. ( at one point I had 15 hoom states and they had 4, 2 of which I'd downed and allowed them to grab)

A streamer with their swf was bullyng the spirit hard, constant blinds and saves. So I'd rotate over to help them every so often.

Ended up with an 8k. Never carries so hard in my life. Cut to the streamers chat, they were having a full rage out. Cussing me out and saying I was going to be banned for "double teaming" as if going 2 on 1 is against the rules in 2v8 🤣 i pointed put that i was playing shadow class that actively gets buffs for hanging around near the other killer so it's a legitimate strategy with perk support. The response was a lot of drivel and a lot more profanity.

Basicly undodgable projectile, the texas sized head hitbox, dissolution making her a nightmare to be chased by unless your soloq teammates bodyblock her which rarely happens. Overall braindead gameplay that makes Wraith players look like masterminds

Preach! Everybody whinges about kaneki but I've destroyed so many ghouls in chase. But krasue is bloody uncounterable.

I’m fine with Dead Hard (press E to outplay) as long as NOED (free kills for playing poorly) exists. I think both are bad for the game and either need to be reworked or eliminated.

Honestly it surprises me people still complain about deadhard.

guess some people never played against it before it got hard nerfed a couple/three years back. Used to be a straight up exhaustion perk no other requirements. People you use it constantly and not have to unhook to trigger it. Everyone used to run it.

I dont think ttv are any different from normal players. But I consider it really toxic when they dont save their streams and playback function is turned off! Imagine being thrilled to see your gameplay from side perspective(we do not have replays!) and when you find a stream after game its live only. Damn!

Yeah average joe players can be just as toxic. It's just more amusing when someone's making a fool of themselves on stream.

And yeah it's nice to watch it back from another perspective. Thankfully the streamer in my story saves their streams on twitch. So I could watch the match from beginning to end and hear their immensely skewed take. Proper comedy it was. Also fun to see some of the dirty shots I landed from survs perspective. I nailed the streamer through both shack doors while they camped the pallet to self heal. The reaction was absolutely priceless.

Well this was back when I first played the game. Back in 2024. I first picked up Demogorgon, never ever played him before around that time. My first literally Game as Demogorgon.

IIn The dead beginning of the game they popped 4 Gens before I hooked my first survivor. But luckily I had a 3 Gen i locked down. When I downed a survivor i couldn't hook her so I put her down, then kept rushing the Gens without healing, they never picked up there friend ever.

They literally had the win in there hands, all they had to do was rest and rush the Gens one final time and got a 4 man out. (I was dog water at the game back then. Im on Switch Btw).

So I got the 4k for there mistakes. But that doesn't matter at all, what matters is what they did after the match. When I joined there stream, they banned me from there stream while streaming at me on how I played. Im sorry a Noob Demogorgon Won the Easiest game they could've Won. They only one I felt bad for was the one they never picked back up.

What prestige they where you may ask, P100s with stacked meta builds around that time. And they lost to a No prestige Demogorgon and Cried about it.

I hope you Enjoyed that story of my first Demogorgon match

I always respect another demogorgon player. And that does sound mad funny. Rushing gens so hard they cack the positioning and end up badly 3 genned. Amazing how ppl make howling misplays and blame ypu for captalising on their mistake. Like you should let them win just because.

The insta chat ban os also super funny. The streamer from mybgame did the same. I always pop into a ttvs chat after stream to gg and chat about the game. Inloaded in, said gg wp and complemented their skill. Got cussed out, insulted and insta banned from their chat. Proper toddler tantrumn vibes, they lose a game and throw their figurative toys out of the pram 🤣

Give a perk similar to Dead Hard for Killers.

Gain 1 token for each hook, use a token on a targeted pallet or window to block it for 1/2/3s. The object needs to be in LOS.

This would only help killers who are winning already to snowball. And not benefit killers who are struggling in a game.

If they introduced a perk for this it should help killers who are on the back foot. Instead of triggering on a successful hook, you should gain a token every time a survivor struggles out of your grip.

My favorite streamer story comes from a round where I kept getting lucky shots. If you play Huntress at all you know the feeling, it was one of those rounds where I just kept landing the trick shots. As a result I leaned into it to have some fun, and didn't really pursue the 4K at all. Just trick shot after trick shot. Lob over the rock here, orbital there, throw through the TL vaults to the other side, etc etc.

Now mind you, this meant I was landing hatchet throws so often that I had to reload more than usual, so I did, which inevitably meant they kept getting people that I downed up while I was reloading. I simply did not have time to get to the place I orbitaled someone into knock-down and also reload, and frankly speaking they kept getting them off the ground so fast that I didn't think to try. I was having fun lobbing axes, and never had more than one person 'slugged' from this approach at a time.

End of match comes, all four escape alive, but they do so as I am lobbing hatchets into the exit gate from a good 40 meters away. I down three of them and they crawl out. One stays behind to give the tea bagging and taunting that I'd expect. Otherwise I thought it had been a fun, goofy round.

In EGC the entire fourstack exploded. "Hacking and can't even get a kill", "slugging is pathetic", "Always knew where we were huh? Sure." They ensured me they were reporting me and also ensured me they had and would continue to give fantastic physical support to my mother so to speak.

I was baffled. Running an aura build on Huntress and them getting a 4E wasn't enough, they found other reasons to blow me up and leave nasty comments on my profile.

I didn't even get offended, I still laugh thinking about it.

It's hysterical when they get salty when they actually survived the match. Tbf one of my swf mates does this. They can survive a match and will still bellyache about being downed and hooked, or scoring low, or killer attempting to tunnel. Mystifies me completely. No pleasing some people I guess.

  • @Rulebreaker said:

So have been recently trying to get back to being ok with Trickster who has lightborn, Starstruck, iron maiden, and cruel limits. One match at auto haven (the one with the cottage) had some random ttv and i think at least 2 in a party (not fully sure but more later).

So in the match I go find first guy, chase as normal, got a hit, guy throws pallet and tries blinding me when i reach it. I literally just stare at him as i throw enough knives to down him. Literally didn't move out of the way as i'm pelting him. So i go "ok then…" turns out the ttv comes out from who knows where and drops a flashbang…I proceed to hook my prize and go to last aura location at main. Go up the stairs to be stunned by head on and somehow they got another bang and proceed to drop it in my face as stunned…which goes over as well as expected as iron maiden and lightborn say "ha no" and bat him down. Who shows up but another survivor looking to blind with their flashlight!~ They were soooo starstruck they let me smack them… Can you see where the match is going? Only the one who stayed the hell away from me lasted any time off the hook.

Then the ending. Instead of blaming themselves for repeatedly trying to blind me, instead of NOT using the lockers after the first time, HELL, instead of realizing that I had lightborn stop trying what do i get? Salt. Salt about how im "lame" for running lightborn and my build in general, salt for tunneling somehow, salt for apparently switching to lightborn (and no i didn't, i didn't pay attention to what everyone had when in lobby), salt for this, and salt for that. The other two kept agreeing with said ttv too (hence between their actions, builds, and "cooperation" thinking a party). I pointed out the obvious of the above and got a lot more rage outta it too.

Yeah lightborn is a guarenteed trigger. How dare killers run a perk to prevent flashlight bullying?

But yeah that is the theme, streamers misplay against a killer, killer capitalises on the mistake instead of doing what? Turning around walking away and throwing the game?

Like in my example the most obviously important gen, 70% finished and i hook someone next to it and guard the hook and gen. They kept mobbing the area instead of working on other gens and forcing me to move, so laving was an actively bad decision. So by not throwing the game apparently I'm camping a 3 gen and tunneling. Madness, entitled salty madness.

  • @Chomperka said:

Remove hatch and replace it with some other objective that doesnt make last 2 survivors stealth hard. Calling for it for 3-4 years but somehow people still think giving win to a surv with 0% effort is a fair mechanic.

Removing hatch isn't it. Got to be some hope for survs to get out. Number of games where gens don't get finished are very high and once that becomes obvious in a game survs have absolutely no motivation to play on besides trying to squeeze out a few bloodpoints out of a losing game.

Shame antislug got killed. Maybe basekit unbreakable at 2 survs left would help this issue. Slug still gets pressure but doesn't force one player to wait a bleedout timer.

Tbh a lot of it is down to killers. I will 100% slug for the final down but only if I'm either: doing a specific 4k challenge (I very unconcerned about getting a 4k in a normal game), or particularly want the 4th surv dead because they've been toxic or not helped their team. Generally if I do the latter I'll let the slugged surv struggle out and give them hatch if they don't abandon, unless the whole team was toxic. But a lot of killers will play for 4ks like their life depends on it, and it's totally unnecessary, like I said I have zero issue with final surv getting hatch unless they been toxic.

  • Most ranged killers are 4.4 for a reason. But desthslinger is a bit funny since his ranged hit isn't an guarenteed down if surv is already injured. So he does need a little something imo. He's one of the weaker killers in the game atm and missin a shot or hitting a bad one and not getting the down feels pretty punishing

  • I mean the lore of him entering the realm isn't too important. Bhvr were pretty skimpy with licenced character lore for being in the realm.

I wouldn't mind having billy added but there are way more ST characters I'd rather see added instead. Hopper, joyce, max, lucas, will. Hell even murray and yuri would pip billy in my preference. He's pretty far back in the queue for me.

  • @JohnNemesisMan said:

Not one Blight mentioned on this list, lol

Honestly, really good blights are few and far between. And blight has counter play. I can run decent chases against good blights. When i get downed by one i always know I was outplayed and not cheesed by a broken mechanic.

  • Yh i think 50% would be fine. Not too consistent but also not a waste lf an offering.

Personally if they leave it at 20% I'd rather they just remove the offerings entirely. Atm they just waste space, bp and slots that could be filled with better blue offerings like party streamers for instance

I feel the downvotes come less from the concept in a vacuum, and more the belief of the consequences of such a split. Queue times would be worse in casual and borderline unplayable in ranked. Sweaty slug-for-the-4k type players will keep doing the same thing, just in casual now. Doing too well in casual, even if you're just vibing, will have the now much thicker survivor rulebook tossed at you.

I 100% agree with the 2nd point. Once I've got a 3k, finding the final survivor for the 4k is just pointless busywork. The outcome of the game has already come down to luck. Slugging for it is just forcing one survivor to sit and wait while you spend up to 4 minutes looking for their teammate, who is obviously going to stealth for hatch. I've alreayd made my point with 3, I'll get 4 if I find hatch before the last guy. Or I might give it, if they're cute.

Idk i think people overexaggerate how badly it would affect the game. Between map features, 2v8 and chaos shuffle we're pretty much constantly running with split playlists atm and the queue times aren't intolerable. Make good prizes like skins for ranked seasons would encourage people to play more. And ranked can be balanced differently, in a way you couldn't do with casual.

In the same vein, yes some players will absolutely sweat casual, but not absolutely everyone and no more than already happens. Any decrease in sweats in casual playlist is an improvement.

And yh i tend to deliberately let last surv go unless I have a 4k challenge, or they've been toxic af.

  • My hot take is that the game would be better with a casual/ranked playlist split. Always gets me downvotes 🤣

2nd place is killers don't *have* to play for the 4k every game. Letting a survivor get hatch, or even letting 2 survs finish gens and go makes the game more pleasant.

  • Yh he is a bit outdated. He's basically a weaker shorter range version of henry. Right foen to the mini mori.

Same perkbuilds will help him. Aura read plus undetectable is a nasty combo on him, lets you shoot survs through walls. Real nasty on high loops, main buildings and maps like lerys. Even without aura read you can take potshots at gens.

Honestly I'm not sure why they gave him the cages, it is very on theme and does save the time and risk of hooking, but it's weak overall and makes survs super easy to unhook as there's usually someone on the other side of the map to pyramid head.

  • I have 3.

Number 1 is definitely chucky, i cannot stand going against the liittle dash slop rat. He's already hard enough to see because he's so damn short, there was no need to make him a stealth killer and give him mapwide footsteps and noises to stress people out. I'm getting better at countering him but he still annoys the everlasting f**k out of me.

Number 2 is krasue. Her kit is basically impossible to counter unless you're swfing and are really good. If not her chases are forgone conclusions, I try to dodge the bloody homing aoe projectile, she hits me on the first to third shot then the head dashes me down and I lose chase in 40 secs max, usually less. I am distinctly bad/mid at looping so I really can't counter her. And the mushroom is bloody pointless, it only helps if you get away from chase which once you're infected is basically impossible with the head's flight speed.

And finally trapper. I know on paper he's the weakest killer in the game. But I can't accurately express the rage I experience when I stumble into a trap. Especially when I'm last surv standing, just heard the hatch spawn, slow vault through a window to get to it knowing I disarmed the trap a moment ago only to find out that he had iridescent stone and the trap reopened. His addons can be mad irritating if he runs the iridescent stone, bloody coils or or the one that downs you if you free yourself. He is very dependant on survs not spotting his traps, but if people do mess up he snowballs so hard especially of he gets someone in basement.

Yes, I know, it's 2026 and I'm actually complaining about Exhaustion—specifically Sprint Burst—but hear me out. I'm on the record as being pretty anti-tunnel and I'd like to see some basekit protections in that area. But I've been maining Henry, a 4.4 killer, these last couple months and if there's one thing that'll send me back to the hook, it's Sprint Burst. Consider this scenario:

Chase starts, World Breaker goes up. Survivor goes down, gets hooked, I use aura or add-ons to go into Undergate and find my next [distant] target. I get there and I recognize them. It's the Lara with SB, Finesse, and Vigil that already zoomed away at match start, and she's standing there looking at me, waiting for me to initiate my slow exit so she can hurl herself to shack or a strong tile, away from key gens and all my pressure. But the unhook notification goes off and I decide I don't have time for that, so I go back to the hook. And if the unhooker decided to farm and slowly walked away from the hook instead of taking aggro, the blood trail is what I'm following. It's not what I want to do—it really, really isn't—but I've already wasted too much time on the standing SBer.

Sounds specific but it's pretty common for me. I actively avoid SB users in my killer matches, which increases pressure on the other non-SBers. Perks like SB, especially combined with other synergistic perks, are selfish perks that don't help your team if the killer doesn't have the mobility to deal with them. Being selfish is allowed,  but these perks are likely to make many killers break chase with you. And that puts your team at risk, which also puts your personal outcome at risk. Lithe, at least, you can botch and is RNG dependent. Same with Balanced Landing. Dramaturgy has ups and downs and limited haste. Smash Hit requires a successful action. All these perks are also more likely to activate during an already started chase, but SB is a way to avoid chase entirely. It has basically no depth, almost no way to screw it up, and no conditions. If we're ever going to have a meta shake up, this is the first perk that needs attention.

There's a lot that encourages tunneling. Taking an endurance protection hit off of hook is basically begging the killer to tunnel you.

And sometimes surviors are just too good in chase. If you juice chase with killer and they can't catch you, if they have a brain, they'll start to straight up ignore and not engage in chase. They'll opt to tunnel the easier options instead. Sometimes to prevent tunneling you have to be catchable and even be willing to throw yourself on hook to prevent the tunnel.

Anything that makes you harder to catch is going to encourage killer to apply pressure to someone else. Sprint burst is definitely a major culprit of this, an uninjured surv hauling ass away with an sb prerun is basically a non starter for chase. Any smart killer won't engage.

  • First is stronger if they're played right. But i prefer (and am better with) demo

I appreciate you doing that. I know, something something efficiency but I don't care.

Lol it's kinda handy too, i stop working gens for maybe 5-10 seconds and everyone gets an aura reveal, handy for whoever is in chase.

  • Tbh I've started getting into the habit of revealing spring trap on cameras while he's in chase, because i know he will be focused on chase and when I have eyes on him I can jump off the door if he drops chase and heads for door.

  • A compass would be nice, around most maps I can't do call outs very well.

    Near main/shack is basically it.

Rpd is the one of the only ones i can actually articulate because it's a map that actually has a bit of character and consistent locations.

A compass would be very handy for keeping track of gates or calling out where the killer is.

  • Iri coin for slinger, hard to trigger but so satisfying when you trigger it, especially in customs when ypu can hear people panic in real time, or when you pull someone out of an exit gate when they stayed to bm.

Any of the debuff and extra bp ones, like scream blink with nurse, party bottles for clown etc

Rotton pumpkin for demo, so you never have tooany portals down and can pirtal from anywhere with no loss

And of course demo's iri combo is still nuts and allows you to control the game so easily

  • I'd like to see a full on werewolf style killer. Buffy sounds like a fun idea for a survivor only chapter.

The Thing would also be a lot of fun. Slenderman.

And one other killer idea that would be interesting…

It's just the usual victim blaming. Survivor players don't need actual improvements to the experience. They need to play better. If they're getting put in miserable situations, it's their own fault. They should've known better, played better, studied more. THEY DESERVED IT. And then, of course, when they run into people who actually do those things, they whine and moan about that too, and of course, the same advice doesn't apply. The entire game needs to be rebalanced to prevent that. There is literally no winning here.

Of course not. Just the usu rampant tribalism on the forums as usual. Although this post definitely reads like someone who's mained killer winning easy games until they get sweat squad level mmr, got fed up with hard games and then started with survivor at the bottom of the mmr pile and is now bellyaching about it. Of course all of the other survivors are to blame.

I think that we should not got after the Light Marks, which are imo the coolest part of the perk.

The Elusive is the problem here, and the perk probably should only give 1 stealth effect instead of all of them

I mean I'm not going after the marks, just saying killer should see them too so they have an inkling of who's using this perk. But yeah the elusive is the real problem. Just have it hide scratch marks and aura allows ppl a chance to clear chase while still allowing the killer ro follow audio cues

  • Fellow demo main here, suggestions sound interesting.

The more flexible fast travel sounds pretty good, it would be nice to have that flexibility when you don't have portals nearby, and I'd love to get that camera lock removed when I shred.

The new addon ideas are very mixed. Some of them are a bit much, the surge on shred down one is a bit OP and I'd prefer the iri add ons left as they are, i like to have my aura reads 🤣 and maybe reorganise them so the addons stay in similar veins to ehat they were before, I'm used to my mushrooms giving stealth and eleven's soda giving the gen auras. But i like a lot of them, the haemorrhage/mangled on shred hit is one I've always felt demo should have and it would be nice to see unknown egg actually do something useful/interesting, the deepwound idea is really cool.

I play all sorts of killers as to not get burnt out on one specific killer. The game in question I was playing trapper as part of my bi-monthly play trapper venture to see where the game is at, this last year and a half or so with him has been awful. I used to be able to run perkless trapper just 2 years ago no problem and still get consistent 4k’s but now I have to actually run perks like corrupt and brutal/enduring bc of the pallets like the boring chud I am.

Then I played houndmaster for a couple games with a devour/scream add on, furtive/friends build and then vecna 2 with a pretty standard aura build with machine learning for a couple games (he’s probably the strongest I play as I don’t usually enjoy high tiers, just can’t stand blight and ghoul, nurse and krasue are mind numbingly easy they put me to sleep, I can’t play Billy for more than a few games because the chainsaw is so loud[I mained spirit back in the day so the chainsaw hurts me double than a normal person], I don’t like drac, and I’ve fallen outta favor with singularity and twins but used to like them)

Other killers I cycle between regularly are SM, Sadako, vecna 1, unknown, springtrap

Got a good variety then. Yeah trapper games are always going to be super rough unless you play dirty and pull a basement set up or something.

I tend to stick with mid tier killers too. Most fun niche killers in this game. Only high tier killer i play atm is a bit of nurse, and really that's because i like the collector skin and she's stisfying to use. But I usually voluntarily let at least 2 survs go each game, she's so busted that 4ks are too easy and boring.

  • Man yeah cross examination is busted, here's hoping bhvr are smart enough to change it before release. Perhaps they should make the light spots visible to killer, because going against this perks and having little to no way to know if it's being used is going to SUCK. At least that way killers will know who's going to try pulling double backs and turn them into a 50/50.

Sidenote this perk will ruin days for a lot of spirit players.

I guess you can see I don't have a lot of practice interacting online using "normal English" text.

    Marvelous…
I completed skipped the last line. Thanks for clarifying. 😁

    Thanks lad!
Something that crossed my mind is that we could end up having 2 days of an RPD exclusive queue which is my fav map as killer and survivor.

Mood, love playing rpd. I don't usually bother with featured maps unless they're new. But I'd be all over an rpd feature. Enjoy it as killer and surv.

it’s pretty simple, just be injured and not have SB while being in an unsafe area. It’s a pretty clear cut case, why would I choose to chase the superior player in a safer area rather than the worse person actively chasing me down.

And yeah I did end up only getting 2 but it felt completely horrible because it wasn’t even anything I did well, just happened to get good rng with basement and the survivors played extremely poorly in endgame and didn’t take their easy 3 out, it couldn’ve been a 4 out easily if they weren’t lollygagging the hook prior, they completely messed up the hit take order under hook giving me a free exchange.

I also met the same duo again, tried slugging the Lara and avoiding her didn’t work, and her duo? Pre ran and held W as much as possible making him a slog to chase, the only person I managed to kill that game was a baby ash. And the 4th was a juiced ttv was very efficient.

I also wouldn’t even classify them as a bully squad/bully duo. I don’t even use the term in my day to day, but if I had to give my personal definition on it it’d have 4 man flashies and flashbangs with a couple of head ons/locker plays and background players. And the other being those haste duos with power of 2 and blood pact. But 4 man flashies are usually easier to deal with because they usually dont have room for powerful anti slug options, and are countered by walls and having ears. The only time I’d lose to them would be on pallet heavy maps for them to die under, or maps with low loops/few walls, like a corn map.
I don’t even consider sabo squads bully squads which I know a lot of people do, but I’d just put them in their own category.

Sounds like a change in playstyle might help. What killer do you play out of interest? From what you've said it sounds like you're struggling to finish chases quickly and feel like you're being funneled after weaker survivors. Could be the killers/builds you play. My suggestion is run some decent traversal or stealth. I love running undetectable on my builds because if you're smart it practically prevents prerunning, makes chases less of a chore.
