But It has always been a counter. Just because survivors use it whenever they please doesnt remove its usefulness pre change. I get that you can only use it for that 60 s now. But what I'm saying is that it doesnt suddenly make it a counter NOW.

Besides, you can still down them, and chase someone else or deal with it as people do pre change. It limits survivors more than killers.

I play both, more survivors, and this change is really not a big deal IMO. DS is RARELY a perk that carried my game to an escape.

I agree with a lot of what you said and like you I play both sides survivor more and the DS change doesn’t bother me either i’m just saying that now it forces you to use it against tunneling. The change was meant to limit survivors and make the game less frustrating for killers when it comes to DS.

How does the change make it a counter to tunneling? A savvy survivor would save DS for being tunneled before this change.

Most every survivor used it on first down and you get unhooked get grabbed and you stab the killer. You’re now forced to use it in a situation where you are being tunneled.

I always feel bad when the game pairs me with a rank 20 killer (yes PS4 matchmaking can be that bad) but I usually just think they’re a bad killer till end game screen.

No that's not what I exposed, what happens is this:
3 players (john, billy and francis) want to play a swf game.

John for some reason is in Hell Queue

Bill and Francis are not

John Bill and Francis create their group, then try to join a lobby.
Even if Bill and Francis are not in Hell Queue normally, due to John all the other players in the lobby will come from Hell Queue.
Normal rules applies in the game - so if Bill and Francis do not DC they do not increase their DC count, and can join normal queues in solo (or in swf if all the players are not in Hell Queue)

I just had a match against a hag and once it was down to me and a Laurie I did a gen looked around with bond saw her camping the outskirts of the map healed her went to another gen got downed didn’t attempt escape since she was a bad teammate to me then I hit struggle phase the killer turned around and caught her out in the open hit her she ran into a wall then tried to unhook me but failed and then got hooked. I like punishing my bad teammates.
