  • Meg because of her cosmetics.

  • making Decisive Strike give you a 50% bonus repair speed the whole match.

I’d prefer the current DS and as for your exhaustion thing I’ve stated my points you keep denying them I’m done with you, I can’t reason with you so bye.

  • @Vert3x it didn’t recover any slower while you ran, and with vigil rank three it took 32 seconds.

  • So I have a very tacky fashion sense and I actually bought the skirt first. XD

  • I play on console. Survivors are no where near as salty as the killers here.

On PS4 the survivors are as toxic and salty as can be XD (not saying anything bad about you, if you’re on XBOX then I’ve heard survivors aren’t as bad as ps4)

Ardetha on youtube has an ultimate nurse guide which I found pretty helpful to learning nurse, I have written this before on an fb group for dbd but couldn't find it so will give you what I've got, rank 1 killer p2 nurse and staying p2 because her purple addons aren't really worth it least to me.

A lot of people will tell you don't play with addons while learning as they will mess you up, me personally it was hell playing without addons just stupid. It's up to you which way you tip on this, "Plaid Flannel" is a great addon while you are learning nurse if you have anyone you can kyf with run this to get an understanding of how blinks work, the more you look up the further your blink goes etc, when I was first getting a grip on nurse I ran 3 blink nurse, it gave me that one extra blink for if I made a mistake or needed to be a little bit closer to land a hit, downside of more blinks is more fatigue as you will have probably found if you have tried her for a few matches, also lunging without connecting a hit will fatigue you longer so try not to panic and lunge if you don't think its going to connect.

perk wise shadow born and bloodhound off wraith are great while you are learning nurse, greater field of view is very helpful and if you lose survivors line of sight the glowing blood is very helpful to figure out where they went to.

Nurse is very much about predicting survivors pathing, if you have played other killers for awhile you gain a better understanding of what most survivors are likely to do, if they try to treat nurse like a normal killer more often than not they lose the chase, your worst enemies are thin walls with easy access to dip around (Never bother with grim pantry, iron works of misery top area, yamoka estate house till you are confident), cars, tyres, trees etc any nuisance that can be a quick gap between you and a certain hit and full corn maps because you rely so much on sight.

As for console the main problem I find is not being able to rotate the camera very quickly, if a survivor drops a pallet and contests it even if I blink over it by the time I rotate the camera around I miss the hit, best to either bait blinking over and hope they fall into your arms or break the pallet and move on, this is one case where on pc I notice a lot of easy hits gained that console can't replicate.

Killer shack is another area that can be a nuisance till you are used to it but like cars I find blinking to a corner then using the second blink to make the distance on a survivor helps, they tend to run around the outside of the structure, anyone who uses the window makes a big mistake and I usually grab them off the window before they complete the animation or smack.

When you figure out how blinks will land you need to blink ahead of where they are going not to them in order to be there by the time the blink finishes, slowly ween yourself off certain crutches like bloodhound or 3 blink etc.

My console nurse atm runs both long range addons, love them so much map travel, perks : BBQ&Chilli, Shadowborn, Nurses, Make Your Choice. I'm not very happy with how it feels on console without shadowborn, my sight feels too limited. You will have god like matches at times where it feels so rewarding and satisfying, such a rush when learning pays off, and you will have matches that make you want to dc, full corn map for me is utter crap, yamoka estate where everyone runs around the house, iron works of misery they love running up the top in difficult to blink places, if you get there and they fall off easy blink down and slap but certain railing areas I have blinked basically nowhere or outside the structure while looking up trying, very annoying. It all takes time and practice with nurse and learning, muscle memory. Hopefully something in this helps :)

Thank you!!! I’m fairly good at blinks and I’m trying to get MYC I already have ruin and bbq and the other perk I want is discordance. :)

  • I play survivor more and agree you should just run the perk if you want it.

  • You have nothing to fear if you didn’t lag switch.

  • Meg and nurse main!!!

  • The array of colors.. are you satan?

    Maybe

  • I want more Meg cosmetics, but you’re right Claudette’s are lacking. That’s the reason I stopped maiming her.

  • Yaaaay Feng Min Winsss!!!!

  • What’s Rancor?

IMO DS and rancor are very comparable but not noed and DS are not.

Yeah, like the idea of exhaustion don't recover when running is for counter those sprint burst or Dead hard infinite loops. But it's not a bad Idea, I would use it in my builds.

There was nothing infinite with that, aside from Dead Hard being a pretty predictable perk to go up against, nothing was ever infinite, you simply found yourself dealing with them during a chase instead of at the beginning of it, that's it; and this change would also make it way weaker than it used to be.

I can bet this perk wouldn't even be any close to be too strong, just trust me instead of fearing any idea!
This is exactly what makes genrush a thing: limiting anything to survivors makes them feel more and more oppressed and will force them to only focus on sitting on generators, that's how it works.

And if you wanna talk about is fearing a idea then what about you and the fact you won’t believe us about infinite sprint burst loop? I’m not the only one who has mentioned it.

Did you even play during the old exhaustion? If you did then you would know that the infinite sprint burst loop was very real.

  • Jesus, just how many of you are there?

It's not dbd that did this to you, is it? IS IT?

    You make me laugh!!! XD

  • So you are getting caught quicker because you run one less perk? Maybe it’s just that you aren’t very good at chases?

Yeah good luck on console. Ive tried and tried to get better with nurse on PS4, very difficult. Only time I even feel I did halfway decent was on the Gideon/ saw map. Have only played against one person who was truly good with nurse. That's why when you do see her on console its usually someone doing daily ritual for blink/ hits, and is normally a very easy game.

Yeah I’ve seen some good nurses I’m still gonna try to learn her though :chuffed:

  • Clown is awesome he really helps at those loop spots, although I can’t give you a build because my perks on him are a mess.

I figured there would be people replying saying "adapt". As I stated before, there are no mind games to this strategy and no looping of the killer, essentially all that the survivor has. I also figure that the people who take the counterpoint would be killer mains that are bad at the game. haha. If you played survivor at rank 1 solo que, then you'd know how impossible he is to play against.

I play solo survivor and I play survivor more than killer maybe you just need to adapt as others and myself have said.

  • And I’ve mind gamed legions before.

  • Bud I play both sides (rank 5 on both right now) and it’s not as bad as you say I’ve faced legions like this stealth play is key not looping.

  • Dead hard is my favorite but I agree with it being in the number 2 spot. Balance landing is no.1 in my opinion but lithe before sprint burst. This is just my opinion though.

  • The killer is suppose to kill and if your team is hook farming then that’s not the killers fault.

  • I like the Feng outfit and huntress torso, but that’s all I like. I’ll try for all of it though.

  • So you’re mad that someone uses a killer you don’t like and now you need to change your battle plan? Improvise Adapt Overcome.

    Solo < Killers < SWF < Nurse

Also, what’s the problem with Kindred?
I play solo and win most of my games. This might just be your experience.
Hatch escape doesn't really mean you won. You got the escape gifted. And that's like always the case if I play killer against solos. Either 4k or 3k and last gets hatch
Whoever said anything about hatch? I don’t consider hatch escape a win.
  • @HavelmomDaS1 said:
But you miss the point that the meta is genrush. And you don't need that much perks for this meta. All the perks you mentioned like DS and adrenalin are perks to make it just even more annoying and carries bad swf teams

Ya... hence why it makes sense to limit those perks for SWF. If they are limited then they can't abuse stacking.

And you can gen rush just fine as solo. It doesn't need buffs, because then it breaks the game like SWF does. Solo should be left as it is, SWF is the problem and needs changing.

Genrush of swf is superior to solo. Just imagine this scenario: someone gets hooked. Noone knows who's saving or not. Noone even knows if the killer camps or not. Everyone leaves the gens to go for the unhook wasting time instead on beeing on gens. With kindred basekit or SWF this won't happen
Like I said before “or you could just run kindred” that is the solution.
  • @TreemanXD said:
Or you could just run kindred....

Wait you mean people can use a perk that does exactly what its intended to do instead of complaining it needs to be baseline?

    MIND BLOWN!

P.S: I'm not making fun of you :) just the people that want every possible bit of information spoon fed to them.

I knew what you meant. :)

Typical killer main who wants to survivors receive all the nerf and killers the buff, remember this is asymetrical, both sides need to be balanced ;)

That one kind of killer main is not capable of reasoning with as much logic, I think you're going too far with him, saying hard words like "asymmetrical" is already op to him, he's already feeling confused and oppressed

You say he can’t apply logic, however you just insult people who don’t agree with you?... Also, once again. How did he deny all chance to survivors?? Survivor is pretty easy, Killer is infuriating.

One thing is constructively disagreeing with a point, and one thing is being a dick putting the /thread trying to show omnipotence while you're just an useless jerk. If one behaves like that, you can already stop expecting me to be nice at them.

Now, about him denying all chance to survivors, once again, I was referring to disagreeing to the minimal buff to a dead survivor perk.

I can give you a good comparison: Spies from the Shadows got a significative buff that brought it from a useless perk to an average tracking perk.

Now, although I am a survivor main, I'm fine with that change and I'm not gonna ######### about it.

That's exactly where the difference between me and that scumbag lays, I do accept my opponent to get buffed when needed and accept to have to improve my playstyle in specific situations and to be required to be more careful on my moves.

An entitled killer main like that guy is just gonna deny even the most minimal buff to a currently useless perk that would bring it up to an average tier at most, and that kind of person is probably who ruins DbD's community.

The way he replied is just making me feel like killer mains are just getting spoiled right now, and if you want people not to think so, at least avoid defending their non-existing points and their complete lack of interest into making the game better for everyone.

    Just thinking about the way you pretty arrogantly claimed survivor to be easy and killer to be infuriating;

how did you play survivor to conclude that it's easy to play it? Did you play rank 1 versus good killers with random teammates or did you simply play a 4 man SWF group? Because if that's the case, it's like I came up to you claiming that killer is easy because I just had a 3 blinks nurse game with Hex: Ruin, BBQ and all the meta perks on and I won many games with that loadout.

Playing SWF is sure easy when teammates are good just like playing Nurse is, but you can't use a single way you play that role to assert that it's easy to play it.> @TreemanXD said:

Killer main here myself though my face is dry. Honestly though I've got no issue with the idea of Vigil allowing it at a MUCH slower rate while running, but also as @TigerKirby215 said, people will only use it for the Exhaustion benefit and nothing else.

With a name like Vigil I imagine it being something to promote a Flight or Fight response in a survivor, so perhaps rework it so that instead of healing faster from blind and mangled (since let's be honest the only real aggravating versions versions of those are permenant) let's have it also boost detection perks. Faster cooldown on Prem, longer range from Spine Chill, perhaps a SLIGHT increase to the aura detection time of Dark Sense and Alert. Have these in addition to the slow restoration of Exhaustion while running and I see it working just fine.

I don't think it should go on and affect everything, I believe it should stay bonded to shortening cooldowns, sure it should however affect perks like Quick & Quiet, Premonition, Dance with me and so on, but I don't think there's a need for it to go beyond cooldowns, it'd just get out of concept to make it also affect aura detection time and range or any other thing.

Pretty cool idea by the way, maybe they should just grab all the cooldown perks and add that little note "- Affected by Vigil" which killer add-ons used to have for Tinkerer.

I play solo stealth, and tbh I find it much easier

Yeah, playing stealth is just like genrushing to me: it is really efficient and probably, for some odd reason, what the designers want you do to in the game, but it is really boring for my playstyle.> @Acromio said:

One could even come up to me being like "It would be way too strong, op" or anything like that, I can try to explain you why it wouldn't and you can try to explain me why it would, but if one just starts #########-posting there's no reason why I should be nice to him, he's being dick at me and I'll be a dick at him.

The “lol” guy wasn’t being a jerk and I’m not defending him, but I think we can both agree to disagree.

Also, what’s the problem with Kindred?
I play solo and win most of my games. This might just be your experience.
Hatch escape doesn't really mean you won. You got the escape gifted. And that's like always the case if I play killer against solos. Either 4k or 3k and last gets hatch.

Or do you count pipping as win?

I never mentioned hatch, but I mean exit gate escape.
But alone, or with one more mate. No way you get out 2+ survivors through the exit gates constitently playing solo Q (unless the other 3 mates of you are SWF and you are not aware of)
I never know what they are but I’m solo
  • IMO three or four survivors have to escape.

  • Someone else said because we disagree with this buff that we’re denying any chances to survivor..... But sure call everyone who disagrees with you a jerk

I play both sides a lot (mainly survivor) and I think this would result in the (almost) infinite sprint burst loop. Exhaustion is fine the way it is.

    I don't want that ######### back.

Again, it was nowhere close to being infinite. It was possible to get Sprint Burst activated while running if you had already previously recovered from Exhaustion by walking, and also, it would be way slower than the old mid-chase activating Sprint Burst.

They weren't really infinite loops, they simply happened to use Sprint Burst mid-chase when they had already recovered a part of Exhaustion, which is what could happen with the change that I have in mind.> @KiraElijah said:

I was just waiting for the that typical kind of player that denies any chance to survivors.
Now tell me what you think that is overpowered about this, since that's you guys' standard pattern.

Excuse me? How did he deny any chance for survivors? What’s your rank?

What are you even talking about? Of course my rank is 1, and what I'm saying is that as soon as one comes up with a good idea for a survivor perk some killer mains will have to be dicks about it and deny anything that could possibly be interesting for survivors.

    Just thinking about the way you pretty arrogantly claimed survivor to be easy and killer to be infuriating;
how did you play survivor to conclude that it's easy to play it? Did you play rank 1 versus good killers with random teammates or did you simply play a 4 man SWF group? Because if that's the case, it's like I came up to you claiming that killer is easy because I just had a 3 blinks nurse game with Hex: Ruin, BBQ and all the meta perks on and I won many games with that loadout.
Playing SWF is sure easy when teammates are good just like playing Nurse is, but you can't use a single way you play that role to assert that it's easy to play it.> @TreemanXD said:

You make laugh XDD, if killers main see this post they are just gonna cry..

Until recently you and another who’s name I will not say have been the only “jerks”
