The only thing I don't prefer is the seemingly apparent "power creep" of survivor's backstories/lore. They're doing a good job with it, even if I don't prefer the character so far.
Don't get me wrong, a hacker chick sounds cool but it's a few more steps above most survivors imo. (Or maybe it's just my want for Carl the cashier to be a playable survivor)
-
I think Meg is the best girl in DbD*
*if one excludes the actual people that play them, in terms of skill and/or toxicity
-
I really think think Solidarity has the potential to be a great but not OP perk. In my vision, it would just be a 100% conversion rate.
But I think your idea is actually better because it includes medkits now, and goes to 70% which is still pretty good.
-
To my understanding, they'll be like the pustula flowers challenge from last Rift.
You'll be able to do them any time, even after the event and 1 will spawn if you have the challenge selected.
-
It's actually the same speed/total time, because the survivor moves the same as the Deathslinger when he moves back.
The only change is that it makes it more difficult for the survivor to strafe and get caught on obstacles, the speed is the same regardless of the killer moving while reeling.
-
Selling items is one of my most wanted features. Or even exchanging lower rarity items for a higher tier of my choice.
I'd sell those fog/mist offerings even if it was as low as 15% of the normal bloodweb value.
-
I've had it happen to me, I also let myself die for the killer sometimes.
The chance increases a lot if I'm playing with friends, messing around and stuff. Or feel bad for the killer.
-
If it's not too much trouble, can you show the Prestige 3 outfits comparison?
Don't sweat if if you aren't feeling like redownloading the PTB again though.
-
One might call the new and improved perk...
FIXated
-
The survivor portraits look like a parody of the Discord in-game overlay, I prefer them in the bottom left corner if I'm being honest.
-
We might see a Tinkerer nerf, but I think the biggest problem it has is killers like freddy that can use it 100% of the time, from the info alone, not just undetectable.
-
It's sad to say, but I agree, it's pretty powerful now. And gets used a lot, especially with Ruin + Undying.
I use it a lot on killer even though I don't like facing it as survivor, but I think it'd be for the best if there was some kind of cooldown on the same gen. But only if it was the exact same gen.
-
This might be a semi-unpopular opinion, but I think DbD would do great as a F2P game. With all the paid DLC, grindy nature, and battlepass, the experience would be largely the same except without the upfront game cost.
Who know, maybe if it was free, the userbase would moderately increase (amount of hackers unfortunately would increase too though)
-
I used to think that too, until they added offerings to influence hatch's spawn. Now I can't think of a scenario where keys aren't OP because people always use those offerings.
-
Nice bait, but I do actually think that DbD base game should be F2P, with all the DLC, outfits, and most recently the Rift Pass, it already feels like one. I'm sure they could make money like TF2 or CS:GO does.
-
I'm confident that it will be in the store at a future date. They wouldn't make all 4 of those sweaters & the frosty eyes 1-time things, I'm sure of that.
But yes, you did miss the chance to get it free.
-
My favorite reworked map is the Family Residence, because the breakable walls are much less important than something like Ironworks of Misery.
I'm also not a fan of how the new MacMillian & Badham looks, but that might be my crappy computer, not the game's fault.
-
It would be impossible. If there was only 1 gen left that could be repaired, the killer would never lose.
No, more like nobody on either side would win.

I missed it because they tweeted this at 5 AM :)
Don't worry, there's similar codes for other regions, that also have 25k uses on them.
Usually someone will reply to the original Twitter post with the other region's codes
-
This is the first one where I can actually redeem the North American code, which I'm glad about.
Thankfully codes are not region-locked, the others before this, the NA code was already used because it got posted in the morning.
-
I used to run it 24/7 on survivor, the information can be invaluable and it's really great for that. I don't care as much as the action speed compared to the info.
But I've been using it a crutch for too long, and I'm trying to play much more often without it. Take off the training wheels and get some better gamesense, y'know?
-
I remember using this when I was a new player!
Looking at the page, I had a 58% accuracy the last time I used it.
-
No. Can't even argue for them in solo-Q anymore, because of those blueprint offerings to always know where hatch it.
-
I would like a shift in the meta perks, but I hope it's from buffing bad perks, rather than nerfing what we've got now.
-
I think the bloodpoint cap should be 999,999,999 which is 1 away from a billion. Essentially the same as having no cap.

I'm laughing so hard right now! Gun item for a survivor when?
-
I didn't consider keys to be OP outside of a SWF until those blueprint offerings were added.
I think it'd be good if they were removed altogether or put on killer only.
-
Survivors cleansing at the fountains counts as injuries healed, which can be detrimental to her Malicious Emblem. She basically can't use Vile Purge or else she will probably lose out on her Adept Achievement.
And I know you were talking about the survivor's perspective but it's kind of inconsistent on both sides using the puke projectile.
-
The challenge is always available, and will always spawn the flower. The reason you stopped seeing them is because most people already got the challenge done.
-
Deerstalker: obviously outclassed by Infectious Fright, which helps make the slugs. But I think deerstalker is one of the top 10 killer perks assuming you have zero DLC.
Thrilling Tremors: some people call it the poor man's BBQ, but I find the info slightly better than BBQ. Still, the bloodpoints make me not use it as much lol.

When will it be possible to get past rift items?
Some of the Rift 1 outfits are being released on mid-January, so I'd expect them to all slowly be released like that.
But currently, the only past rift outfits in the store are Nurse's Blighted outfit and the 2 community designed outfits.
-
Tombstone Piece definitely is gonna get nerfed or removed in the future.
For the medial cost of "Considerably increases the amount of Evil required to reach Evil Within III for the first time" you can instantly kill someone. Sure, it takes you out of EW3 after a kill, but it skips all hook states and can activate multiple times.

The survivors are healing each other. never heard 'co-op heal'
A co-op heal is when 2 people heal somebody at once. Called double heal because there's two people performing the action, it's also twice as fast.
-
I got Adept Nurse yesterday, and the last survivor was very supportive and nice in the chat. It made me feel good.
-
Personally, I think of the 2nd whenever somebody says the term double heal.
-
took me a bit to realize what this was about

Video games, video games, video games!
I'd really love to see more licensed chapters from games, just look at Silent Hill, which was probably the most successful of the 4 most recent chapters.
Bioshock, Hotline Miami (as just a paragraph most likely), and more Left 4 Dead would be my most wanted video game licenses.

83 after this one, since I needed bp to get more addons.
This is how it goes for me.
1. I get into T3 at 2 gens and they hide and slowly complete the gens.
2.I get into T3 but they dc.
3. T3 but they stay on lockers.
4. Can't get into T3.
5.meme squads.
6. Hatch escape.
7.normal escape.
8. When tombstone animation starts they dc aka no achievement.
9. I get dedicated, slug to find last survivor to instead of slugging myers grab survivor and they escape.
10. I cry (joke)
But this is how it has been going for me, currently I'm farming bp to get more addons.
Yeah, it's pretty rough. I went a solid 3 days putting all bloodpoints only into Myers for it, and ended up with more than I needed when I got it sooner than expected. Here's some tips I have that aren't related to the perk build:
- Buy Black Wards before anything else
- Indoor maps (except Midwich) are actually not that bad because survivors typically find gens less often or panic when being chased in those maps. (probably doesn't apply to most red ranks and some purples, but worked for me)
- In Hawkins specifically, you can stalk through the portal room's glass, and survivors commonly spawn there and will do the gen to start. Can sometimes be lots of free Evil Within

IMO the most problematic Perk in this Combo is Tinkerer. But I doubt that this is gonna get nerfed, so I bet Undying will get changes somewhat soon.
Cant wait for the forum reaction on that one tho. :>
I agree with this here. I feel like Tinkerer is gonna get a small nerf in the future just as soon as it actually became good and people started using it.
I'm guilty of using it in a lot of my killer builds, even though I find it slightly unfun to face as survivor.
-
82 attempts? That's really unlucky. I got it after around 7 tries, and it definitely has too much luck required. Similar to adepts you have to hope your survivor opponents are bad enough for you to get it.
-
Before the extension (and Twitter code for Rift Fragments) I calculated that I'd have to get 9 fragments per day if I even wanted to complete it with 1 day left. Thanks to the extension, I've been motivated to play even more, and now only have to do 3.5 fragments every day, which is much more doable with 20 days still left.
-
I wish it didn't boot us to the main menu, but it's usually just a 20-30 minute break that I can build my schedule around.
-
On Hawkins, I was being chased by a Deathslinger and ran to one of those catwalks with the vault that goes over the stairs up. He was on the other side and we had a fun shooting gallery game for a little bit.
-
Make it 100% instead of 50%, and have a blue indicator that your teammate has the perk (like We'll Make It)
If it becomes strong and meta, good for them. I'd rather see the same 8 perks every game instead of the same 7.
-
One thing I forgot to say, I've heard that they're only in the store for Iridescent Shards, and not Auric Cells. Probably because they were designed from the community in a contest.
If that's true then, getting those outfits is a bigger grind than actually getting level 70 in a Rift. Maybe the people without the outfit should be the ones complaining lol.
-
I don't get people who are upset. Most Rift outfits have already been exclusive for 1 year or even more in some cases. It was always known they'd return to the store eventually.
In the specific case of Demon slayer feng & Mr Puddles clown, they got it for free back in Rift #2, and shouldn't be mad, as anyone new has to buy it.
-
I'd say the Saw chapter is better if you account both characters. 2/3 of Tapp's perks are really underrated, and his worst one (Stake Out) still isn't that bad compared to other stuff. (great for archive challenges too)
For Pig, they're pretty fun but not top tier. Decent perks too.
-
Distortion: make 4 the default number, with 9 as the limit. Earn tokens from 90 seconds on a generator or safe hook rescues.
Saboteur: make the cooldown only from successful breaks, not just merely touching a hook.
Flip Flop: make the struggle:wiggle ratios 1:1, but change the limit to 35% instead of 50% wiggle meter
Surge: all forms of downing trigger Surge (but uses Killer's location not survivor's)
Monstrous Shrine: Makes the basement spawn in both locations (if able). Teleport between the two basements with a 120 second cooldown and mapwide sound cue.

It is though, hitting a great skill check will still give you +2% even if you don't have any tokens.
Oh really? I didn't know that! I was always a little confused on the perk's wording and thought it was only a bonus from using a token.

I like the Asylum's Realm aesthetic, so a new layout with those looks would be my pick. My 2nd choice would be Glenvale, imagine an old Western fort as a main building in that realm.
