Perks: There's not really an excuse for that one
Addons: This one is understandable, because some people don't really play a killer, or never used those addons. Me personally, I use just brown-yellow addons in 90% of my games, I don't know what some of the green and purple ones do tbh.
-
I think it's a pretty good time to prestige, because if you try to get them to lvl 50 again, they will accumulate plenty of cakes without even trying.

Someone else came up with the main concept before me, but here is my idea:
Basically, it would be an common offering called Broken Mirror. This offering would remove the effects of the Realm Beyond, allowing you to play on an older map.
An easy way to get a little taste of the past.
"As the bloodthirsty glass pierce through our minds, memories become reality once more" -Unknown, Notebook.
I would go in a SWF just so I can use it with the old Father Campbell's Chapel.
I miss that old version of it.
-
Clearly, you're just expected to use Off the Record and Iron Will at the same time, just to nullify their Stridor. Or maybe Lightweight or Lucky Break.
What's that? You weren't using these specific perks? I guess you die then.
-
Not the worst list, but I'd make some changes if it were me making the list.
- Leatherface in S tier, we all know why.
- Pig, Ghostface, Oni, Freddy, Demo, and Nurse get moved down
- Trapper & Nemesis moved up to C tier

Can we all respect the fact that Capcom would have had a say in what Nemesis’ powers would have been?
There’s very little wiggle room for what they COULD have done with Nemesis. What else was there is explore? Give him a rocket launcher? Just another Huntress then huh...
There is some evidence that his power may have been different in earlier development. The daily ritual for Nemesis is leveling to Tier 3 Mutation 4 times. That takes 4 games minimum, which means they may have intended for some kind of bigger power in tier 3 a la Myers.
-
These are all good suggestions, especially Alien. But what about some more video game licenses? I'd want to see:
- Dead Rising: Just a survivor paragraph for Frank West would be awesome. And now Zombies are a thing in DBD so it'll be even cooler
- Left 4 Dead: More L4D since Bill is pretty loved by the community (even if people play him infrequently)
- Hotline Miami: This is my most wanted license in the game. While not exactly horror, the game series has a ton of violence and death, so I think a killer paragraph would be super cool. Plus imagine all the skin possibilities they could sell.
- Bioshock: There's definitely material here, I'd love to see a Big Daddy as a killer, the hard part would be deciding who the survivor is.
-
I have found some use in Dragon's Grip on Nemesis. Everybody suspects you're just using his teachable perk, Eruption (I use both at once). Then they get exposed and you can hit them.
I do wish I could find Trail of Torment on him, for a similar pair with Eruption
-
Used to be double Calm addons on Doctor, before the rework (yes i know it was unfun to play impossible skillcheck builds sorry)
Now, it's Dead Rabbit & any EW3 duration addon (I like to keep Monitor on to pair with the rabbit too)
-
One thing I think might help would be to make the cooldown the exact length that a pallet is blocked (16 seconds)
That way, there could always be a constant pallet blocked somewhere on the map if you get hits. I know it's not much, it could use an additoinal buff too.

This perk is for beginners and indoor maps. It even has a cooldown for some stupid reason. I guess they thought it would be OP without it.
Because they needed a secondary ability to make 3 tiers for the perk, the added a cooldown. It's dumb and hampers some creative perk ideas. that's a discussion for a different post though.
-
As hard as that chapter flopped, Elodie is a shining gem. Both in aesthetic, and the very fun perks.
Deception, Appraisal, and Power Struggle all have fun builds that can be made around them, and I just like them all.
-
I don't know if this is bait or not, because tbh, I've seen plenty of people on both sides saying he's good or bad (nah after reading again this is bait lol)
But Nemesis definitely needs a buff, mainly changing the first infection hit giving survivors a speedboost despite not injuring them. It's crazy how much time a survivor can waste by getting 3 hits and 2 speedboosts. Be it looping or just holding the forward key and running.
-
I would love to have improved survivor AI. A start would be them using perks, maybe difficulty settings that affect the survivors hitting skillchecks, how soon they run in the terror radius, and prioritizing gens over heals.
Also, it would be a nice way to gain BP aside from public matches.
-
The hindered is only 1/4 of a second long? No wonder I wasn't noticing anything. They really should remove the speedboost from 1st infection, that would be a much needed improvement.

I can't be the only person who thought, based on his title, that he was talking about the killer, right guys???
Haha that is a little understandable, seeing how Spirit is constantly a hot topic. Similarly, I have confused the Nemesis the perk & killer on 2 occasions.
-
2 addons reduced by 5%. Those shreds absolutely burning through the pallets was powerful.
Demo is still capable of doing that y'know, just slightly slower.
-
I don't have an argument with that since it disables on everything except exit gates now. I don't think it'll see additional use but it would be a nice little change.
-
Losing charges over time could still be considered “consumed by the entity”
I just want to know the numbers on that charge loss, because it has a decent chance of being better on every item now (except keys). Especially medkits

I have them all. Only my Trapper/Dwight are P3 with all perks though. I generally get every character up to level 50 and when I run them out of add ons or items I prestige them. Whatever perks they get, they get.
This leads to me using a lot of weird perks and meme builds. I don't even play that seriously unless I'm doing a rift challenge or something that requires me to do something specific. I'm very invested, but at the same time not invested at all.
I do this exact thing too. Makes prestige a lot less stressful too.

They need to fix the grind for new players but they fear the backlash from old players and the "compensation" they will need to give them.
You know what they say, “the second best time is now”. The sooner the grind improves, the better, who needs compensation?
-
Tbh I’ve gotten used to them, I don’t really mind anymore.

Older DLCs should be baked into the base game IMO.
I agree, once an original chapter becomes old enough, it would be a nice gesture to make it free, like how Console versions have Doctor/Feng & Hag/Ace included in their game.

this. marketing wise this is... not a good idea. long time players get nothing, new players might realize and refund. might.
We'll have to wait for the future. Since BHVR never puts a thing on sale when it's just released, maybe for later chapters it'll go on discount like every DLC does, and remain a good deal.
Still means nothing to me since I'm 10 chapters deep though.

A massive slap to the face. I like collecting every DLC and charm that I can, but there's absolutely zero way I'm forking over £50+ for two charms. I actually hate this so, so much.
I feel similar. I like collecting full chapters because I believe in playing both sides, plus those exclusive (but underwhelming) outfit pieces or charms.
They're very reminiscent of the majority of the Rift charms. Stuff nobody would use anyway. But it's a bummer to miss out.

I leterally have all the dlcs, and why I would pay this just fot a charm? #########
I'm guessing the idea is for people who are just new after RE chapter. The funny thing is,
When there's a new chapter all the old DLC goes on sale 30% or 40% (on steam). That makes it a better deal than this new bundle.
-
Tinkerer is one of those things that can really grind my gears sometime, but I also totally use it when I play killer.
I think slapping a cooldown would make it a little bit more balanced.
-
I wish we had 2 dailys every day, one for survivor and one for killer. Maybe increase the max we can hold at once, and then I'd be a little more satisfied with how random they are.
-
If anything, Distortion needs a hearty buff imo. 3 tokens is pretty abysmal in some situations. You could either lose them all quickly, or get no use of it the entire match. Some way to gain them back would be nice. (safe unhooks or repairing generators maybe)
-
Jake Paul live streaming by dropping an atomic bomb? Don't give him any ideas LMAO
-
I just want a new map on Crotus Penn asylum realm. I liked those textures/models and would love a new layout of them, maybe something with a sewer.

Yeah, I’ve done that too. Add in Leader and co-op healing is crazy.
Leader does sound like it would be good, I haven't tried it. I usually take Resilience too in order to offset the Self-Care speed penalty even more. Plus it's possible to leave yourself at 99% for the speed bonus, and finish the heal when you need to.
Only problem is that it takes all my perks, and I love information perks such as Spine Chill or Bond. I usually abandon the whole build and just take a medkit instead because of that.
-
Desperate Measures is underrated for sure. The only time I use self care is when combo'd with that (and usually Botany Knowledge too). It can quickly stack up and make for some crazy good healing.
-
I would be okay with it being a slight clone of Stake Out, since it is a free perk and a lot of people wouldn't have Stake Out
Idea: When healthy, gain a token from 1 great skillcheck or every 3 good skillchecks. When injured, you can't gain tokens but they act the same as Stake Out.
Plus make this in addition to what This is Not Happening already does since it's a bad perk.
-
I love all these outfits you're sharing! I don't main Kate but I always use the Debut Night Curls hair. Love that dark brown hair, it's about the only one of its kind, and I love it.
-
I feel like a lot of these comments are giving people too much credit.
I've seen some people go into lockers even while healthy, most likely because Twins is so rare, and they didn't even know about the interaction with lockers that Victor has due to facing so few of them.
-
For a brief amount of time, the devs decided to make addons that were mimicking the killer's teachable perks. Just look at Nurse's reworked addons, you have stuff based off of Stridor and Nurse's Calling. Leatherface got some that were similar to Franklin's and Knockout. Billy got a few that were stealthy, and one that interacted with flashlights, based on Lightborn and Tinkerer's stealth.
To be fair though, a lot of killers have gimmicky undetectable addons though.
-
So far, this round has looked a lot better. I think the original 4 (specifically Dwight) were better with their old models. Excited to see how Ace looks.
-
Sounds like Wraith after stacking multiple Windstorm addons.
-
Am I the only one who thinks Ghostface & Demo have the coolest main menu pose because they're crouching while observing the campfire?
-
What if Vigil made permanent effects except for Exposed timed too? (albeit slow timer like exhaustion, probably with even longer time)
-
I think Hopper is too good to be a legendary skin for Steve. Who knows if a 2nd chapter of Stranger Things in possible in dbd, but Hopper would be my candidate for it.
-
and outfit for Jeff inspired by The Dude. The bathrobe and sandals would be great, sunglasses as well.
-
I really want a buff to Solidarity. I think making it 100% would be my preferred one because you still need to:
- be injured
- not use a medkit
- be the first to heal the other instead of them healing you
I don't think it would be too OP, and seeing more than the same 10 perks every game would be great. At the very least, Solidarity will have a synergy with Jill's upcoming new perk, Resurgence.
-
Solidarity: Make it a higher percentage, maybe even 100%. Because there's so many prerequisites already.
Autodidact: Give it a higher chance to trigger a skillcheck when healing. Just 15% or something.
Any Means Necessary: Give it no cooldown, and replace it with a certain number of tokens. Even that probably won't make it used though.
-
From the Lunar New Year last year, (year of the rat) there were a few exclusive items that still have not been mentioned.
red & gold recolors of nea's shirt, dwight's hat, and hillbilly's weapon + 2 charms.
There's also the 4th anniversary outfits for Deathslinger & Claudette, but we'll see if they do some kind of rerelease during the 5th anniversary.

I run similar build on Doctor. Corrupt + Surge + Whispers + BBQ.
I did like PGTW, but the time to go kick took away from chases.
Cool games though! Does NOED work with legions feral frenzy?
NoED does not work with Feral Frenzy, because Exposed from any source only works on basic attacks.
-
I'm currently playing Elodie as my current survivor, and her screams are really something else. Once the new chapter hits I'll probably rotate to someone else.
-
One thing to note is that Oppression makes other gens regress but it's not like kicking them. I was looking forward to pairing that with Eruption, but I guess that would be a little too potent if one could quickly stack gens up.
-
My dream perk is Pharmacy but for flashlights. I'm not good at them but I'd love to use it to get practice without burning through everything I have.
With the flashbang perk, I guess that's kind of close, but I was hoping for a flashlight specific perk.
