Oni without the mask is a little bit rough, I must say.
-
People have been wanting a John Kramer or a Mark Hoffman legendary skin, I think a human sized Billy Doll would be very cool, especially with the potential lore that the Entity made the idea of Jigsaw a killer. (if the license allows for it)
-
Red Forest becoming broken again? Usually it's temple of Purgation specifically though
-
The bird in the Chains of Hate menu was my favorite. He was just vibing, eating a corpse while your killer was queueing.
-
Ruin + Undying is a pretty good combo, simply put. Undying happens to be Blight's teachable, so you're even more likely to see it on him.
As for Tinkerer, that perk is really good on almost anyone, just for the info. With Blight's good mobility, a lot of times you can actually stop the gens from getting done, too.
BBQ is self explanatory, basically the same reasoning as using Tinkerer.
I agree, it's annoying seeing dozens of this build, but it's good, so we'll just have to deal. I don't blame people for using it.

Well, the Fancy Freshman for Dwight and the blue recolor of the hillbilly outfit are from the first Rift and are now in the store iirc. Maybe they're just rereleasing them at an even slower rate since they're recolors.
dang. I just realized that the blue huntress recolor OP mentioned was from the 1st Rift too. tbh yeah i have no idea why they're not releasing them if they did for 2 of the recolor outfits

I think recolors from the Rift won't be in the shop ever, only the original skins have a chance to go there after a few months.

Imagine survivors using map offerings every single game. I'll pass, thanks.
-
So obviously this is a opposite of that Blight perks post, and shouldn't be taken too seriously.
But fr though, survivor perk diversity is a lot more than killers. There's multiple things contributing but I think the biggest is that killers are much more perk dependent, maybe someday the problem could be addressed.
-
I don't think it's nearly as bad as many people suggest. My biggest issue is the totem & hatch spawns being really weird and in corners of the maps.
But the lower floor of Grim Pantry and the other building just suck because of the unpredictability of the door's spawns.
-
Nerf? It's not their fault that people only use Franklin's for keys, losing charges is a lot better for every other item type (especially medkits).
And the midchapter will fix people's issue with franklins on keys anyway
-
Most of them are just "do x thing x times" and the numbers increase with every level on the Tome. It's pretty annoying. I'm just glad the killer ones are still pretty easy. Imagine if "chase survivors for 300 seconds" was inflated to be on par with "heal 15 health states of your team"
-
Billy because they made so, so many of them terrible. I understand insta-saw was busted but that didn't mean they all had to become weird/useless.
-
Gearhead wins the award over all of these for the most underwhelming perk.
And Trail of Torment isn't nearly as bad but it still has issues.
-
Did the printer ink add any extra flavor? I've eaten paper before but not with that much color.
-
Game crashed/lost connection while I was less than 10 meters away from the last survivor while doing the Evil Incarnate achievement.
I did get it eventually, like 4 games after that attempt.
-
I thought you were gonna go the other way tbh. Dead Dawg usually goes under the radar but it can be very survivor sided sometimes.
-
It actually used to be any type of down to trigger knockout. Then it got nerfed to only activate on basic attacks. What we got in return was the survivor being deafened and crawling slower for some seconds. Not worth it at all.
I'm lowkey glad it never gets used, because it's super unfun to get 4-survivor slugged at 5 gens by a spirit/nurse/wraith/hag with knockout or the Third Seal.
-
At first I thought you were walking about the Team Fortress 2 weapon, and I was really confused. That aside, I think being a Ultra-Rare should make it more powerful but also have a drawback.
How about:
Sleeping survivors have the exit gates blocked forever (instead of 15 seconds)
Basic attacks no longer put survivors to sleep.
Since alarm clocks were buffed in the same patch as Freddy nerfed, I don't think this would be too bad, even if it was stacked with the paintbrush addon.
-
I can remember them all. (But please correct me if I miss one) You can also find them in character's wiki pages under the "dlc" list in their outfit list on the page.
- Halloween DLC: 3 piece alternate outfit for Laurie
- Flesh and Mud: Tuxedo for Ace & normal hair
- Spark of Madness: The hairbun, trackpants, and that purple top on feng. Black suit & default weapon/head but with small electric effects for doctor
- Nightmare on Elm Street: Beanie Quentin, polo shirt, and other pants (note that it's the only way to get non prestige stuff on quentin)
- Saw: the black suit, jeans, and remove the hat on Tapp
- Leatherface: It gives you an exclusive head for Dwight, where his face is bruised and his glasses broken.
- Curtain Call: white shirt recolor for Kate
- Shattered Bloodline: darker colored shirt under adam's coat
- Demise of the Faithful: red floral shirt for jane instead of white
- Darkness Amogus: Different Shirt under Jeff's default jacket
- Ash: a blue colored hand instead of red. Hard to notice.
- Ghostface: Grey cloak with white accents & white knife handle
- Cursed Legacy: Yui's undershirt is more pinkish-white instead of pink (also changes the emblem on the back of the jacket to be gold)
- Stranger Things: Steve & Nancy's default shirts but with small rips and scrathes (very hard to notice any difference)
- Chains of Hate: Zarina's scarf is blue & white striped instead of red
- Silent Hill: Just a charm of the seal of metatron
- Descend Beyond: Brown jacket for Felix
- Binding of Kin: an orange & white shirt for Elodie
- All-Kill: Orange and white dotted scarf for Yun-Jin instead of a purple one
- Resident Evil: Just a charm of the Umbrella Corp. logo.
All in all, they're almost all recolors of default items. I wouldn't advise buying DLC just to get these.

they should definitely increase solo gen points getting 8k is basically impossible soloing gens only
A while ago there used to be a score event called "toolbox repair" just like medkit heal. They got rid of it when they nerfed toolboxes and I don't know why. If we got that back it would be nice. But base points should be upped too.
-
they're more useful than mist offerings, I'll give them that.
-
I like it, and don't think it's that OP. Powerful, but not overpowered.
Basically both totems are Ruin until the 1st one gets destroyed. You also get to keep whichever spot was better hidden (until they're both found)
-
This might sound a little random, but the thing I hate most about Twins is that basket of trash hanging on Charlotte's back. I hate the little banging noise it makes, and it just looks so stupid, even if they are supposed to be scavenger peasants. (I don't have any twins outfits but) The outfit with the tiny coffin on her back for victor is much cooler.
As for the gameplay, yeah they're pretty bad imo. Feels awful when the survivors travel in pairs and basically make Victor's power much weaker.

I like this perk since it will buy your teammates extra life. It is rly good if killer decides to slug for short time and you quickly steal the kill.
I see the use of FTP, but what happens more often than not:
- killer downs someone
- FTP user goes in for a clutch heal
- killer is still nearby, downs the person immediately again
- the perk user is now broken, so they'll get slugged and the savior 1-hit too
-
For the People should 100% not be in A tier. List based on solo Q? I'd go as far as to put it in D tier.
-
heck, I'd even do this if the value was only 15% of an item. There's really no downside since you'd never use certain items/addons anyway.

Interesting fact:
Trickster uses Jake Park's exact model but with longer arms.
I think he's easily portable as a survivor and even might've been planned to be one at some point.
So you're saying a shirtless Jake Park might be possible?

That's not a new concept, there are A LOT of games that have achievements that are time sensitive.
Doesn't make them good achievements.
Maybe, they can do one for reaching 100% on a Rift/Tome because at least those actually are around all the time, and you can play old challenges.
-
That's a creative idea
-
"Me: I wish I could get cakes so I can use the offering every single match
Game: I'm sorry, did you say you wanted 3 anniversary flashlights?"
The problem is that survivors have 4 Event items and they all compete for spots, while killers can only use the offering, and will find 2-3 every bloodweb.
-
All it does is cancel out the co-op debuff that's basekit. Saves less than 10 seconds on a gen.
I use it for the bloodpoints more than anything else, because it fills up the Objective section quickly, leaving time for everything else.
-
I actually know this one! I actually learned this fact a few months ago also from a DBD related thread.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-3-bVRYRnSMThose 4 notes are an excerpt from a 13th century chant used in funerals.
Edit: I forgot to say, it's called Dies Irae
-
Give NoED some tokens, every time you attack you lose a token. I haven't quite figured out what the best way to give them would be. Probably something like No Way Out or BBQ, with unique survivor hooks.
That way, it's not dependent on totems, and has some semblance of earning it, as opposed to getting infinite free exposed hits once the gates are powered.
-
I'd say it's fairly rated, people know it's good. Definitely really decent. and excellent on certain killers with special attacks.
Like a year ago, it was also a running joke that Otzdarva would always use it and recommend it in all his builds.
-
Sewer or water treatment plant. Would be dank and decrepit, it has a lot of potential I think.

Dude I just prestiged without thinking and lost 25 haha
That's a bummer. I do prestige too, but I like to use every last thing, so I've had several characters at lvl 50 for months. I should prestige 1 them so I can feel more confident at spending, using items and leveling all simultaneously.
-
I personally find Doctor a lot more fun (and good for Deviousness points), although Spirit is definitely stronger.
-
The bloodweb spawn rates seem to be worse than last year's, I probably won't use them until a few days in when I get a good reserve of 15 or so.
-
Built-in teachables is a bad idea and would create an even more unfun meta for survivors.
Everybody would choose the strongest one and then use their free perk alongside everything already used.
-
Elodie
-
I used most of mine making everybody have nearly complete bloodwebs :(
(only 1 item left on each, so everyone can get a crack at those event items asap)
-
This is without a doubt in my top 10 favorite forum posts. Excellent job.
-
All the baby Bills would probably play David instead.
-
Do: try to play both sides. It will give you a better understanding of each side, probably improve your skills on both roles, and more empathy during game balance discussions.
Don't: use just the meta. Use what you think is the most fun (in some cases that is the meta) because the same things repeatedly can cause burnout on any game.
-
I like Aftercare, but if you couldn't lose stacks it would be toopowerful methinks.

I just don't see how Resurgence isn't a worse version of pre-existing Perks.
It's a Solidarity that activates twice per match in high-traffic areas. It's a Second Wind that doesn't finish the job. It's a self-inflicted We'll Make It that also doesn't finish the job.
I genuinely see no use for Resurgence. Claudette self caring in the corner is a better self-healer than a Resurgence user.
I understand where you're coming from, but I think you may be exaggerating a bit, it definitely has some uses.
Yes, you only get it twice, but it saves a lot of time. It's fairly accepted that bringing a medkit is usually preferable to selfcare because of the amount of times you'll realistically need to heal in 1 match. With resurgence, even a single brown medkit can give you 2 heals. Yes, We'll Make It is just as fast, but with resurgence, you get that speed without needing your teammate to actually have the perk.
And you're implying Second Wind is also a perk worth running. I think that Botany Knowledge with a medkit is what gives the perk a run for its money. Or maybe Inner Strength. But if one doesn't want to spend too many points on items/addons, Resurgence is probably preferable.

Foolish rescuer. You shall get no altruism points from healing me today. I will run Resurgence and Solidarity and leave you with a silver emblem.
Mwahahaha.
That's funny, I didn't even think of how it affects emblems lol

Combine it with solidarity& you heal
someone, you’ll heal yourself
I really wish Solidarity was a higher percentage, like 50/75/100%. But now with resurgence, at least it's possible to have 2 people become healthy in the exact same second, which is satisfying.

I have seen a clip on Reddit like a year ago where someone successfully used Insidious to pose as one of their madness illusions while playing Doctor.
