They wouldn't be my first choice to chase. A player that knows about the outfit set bug is more likely to be experienced in the game, therefore better at looping. But I would probably chase them.
-
Playing against somebody with Calm Spirit always makes me amused.
They make no scream when they go into dying state, so when they get hit it just looks like they flop on the ground dead. To be fair that's probably what would happen with a lot of the killer weapons irl if you got hit😅
-
Hey man, I haven't seen your posts in a while, how are you doing?
And I think that all those perks need buffs, because they are very rarely used. Distortion earning back tokens among other buffs like your suggestion could incite more people to actually use them and I'd like to see that.
-
Sabotage from before patch 3.6 (Chains of Hate chapter)
I didn't play back when hooks were forever broken, but I do remember when you could still bring a hook to 99% and that kind of sabo.
-
Losing 30% of your perk's timer when healing really doesn't feel good. Bumping it up to 60 would probably be a good change imo.
-
Protip: you can smash the gnome while playing as Killer, it's usually much less stressful than trying to find it as survivor.
-
I am pretty fond of Jeff's P3 head. The blood on his face looks like a stripe of makeup. Reminds me a lot of Kratos from God of War
Does anybody else see it?
-
If their reasoning for the old items was because some users were randomly losing the items and giving it to everybody was the fix, then I'm guessing those new ones won't be returning if the bug is patched.
The Year of the Rat stuff was pretty underwhelming, and I think this is only like the 2nd time I've seen somebody mention it ever. As for the Year 4 items, those are pretty neat and I wouldn't mind if everybody was able to have it.
-
I really hope so, because I would love Bioshock as a chapter, and that was on of the properties on the list.
-
I love Tenacity. People sleep on that perk way too much. Unfortunately the Ash didn't get the message.
I get similar frustrations with We'll Make It and Aftercare. My team just doesn't seem to notice the blue icon in the corner.
-
I love the new meat hooks on him, but I kind of prefer the old mask look.
-
It doesn't sound like the absolute worst as long as it's only 1 per game. Would still be annoying if stacked multiple times, but at least it might see some use then.
-
I tried exactly 2 matches with Breakdown to see if it was actually bugged, and sure enough, it was. I felt very dirty using Breakdown even when I barely got any value. I really don't want to encounter a squad that's all using Breakdown.
If they can disable Red Forest for ~2 weeks, they need to disable the perk Breakdown until it's fixed.
-
I bought it the moment I reached Level 68, because that's when the last Auric Cell reward is and when I got my money back instantly.
-
I always thought of a balance change could limit the number of insta-downs somehow (either related to totems or 1 for each survivor).
I love your idea of using the tokens to kill someone by your own hands. It could be strategic, situations where you choose between killing someone or just keeping everyone Exposed.
-
The Brand New Part (free track reward at level 70 in the first rift)
I love that both killers and survivors can use it, and it's so simple yet cool.
-
Just from sheer gameplay. 800 XP per fragment. Make sure to play both sides for the daily XP bonus.
And last Rift, they had a code on twitter for some Rift Fragments and extended the time, I hope they do that again.
-
This would be a neat buff, as right now it only has the 32m aura reading and nothing else.
I do fear it would be a little powerful though, because the effects would be apparent even at 1 survivor death.
-
Sounds like a good time to switch, with the 2nd hook struggle being changed soon. I think my spacebar hates me because of how much I play this game.
-
I think just offerings being shared between everybody would be great. It would also make prestige a less scary thing to some people, not losing as much each time.
I could think of one bad thing, map offerings may be abused even more with that change.
-
I did this a lot when the stuck hill bug was in the game several months ago. And sometimes when a surv had especially toxic or hindering teammates.
-
This game should go F2P. Since it makes most of the money selling Rift Passes, DLC, and outfits. It already feels like a freemium game.
-
Clown still has one of the best backstories imo, so probably him.
They could really build suspense with his hobby turning into what it was, and some heavy scenes with his father, given their relationship.
-
I'm about to Prestige 3 Zarina. I just played her a few games because I had some leftover Year 4 Cake offerings, and now I really took a liking to them.
-
sometimes a filter detects words inside bigger words, for example finding the word twat in sweetwater.
That's just an example through, I don't expect anyone to use that word much.
-
I experienced that a few days ago, but I was the killer. Luckily the survivor decided to move a little bit too.
-
I only did the Red Glyphs as killer, and I'm gonna go out on a limb and say it was much easier, and less stressful. as killer than survivor.
As for comparing this rift to the previous ones, I think this one actually has a less bad grind than the last two, although it could still be better.
-
I only play for the Rift these days. When there isn't one active, I'm gone. I like the feeling of doing the challenges.(admittedly some of them are kinda bad) Since I have all the teachables by now, it's very hard to match the original feeling of leveling and feeling accomplished.
-
I've only seen 4 Tricksters total, and I was playing a lot of survivor today and yesterday. I hope I can see more because only 1 of them seemed to have a good sense of the power.
-
I haven't really used DS since like last year, but by definition, it is a nerf...
-
That Trickster outfit is reminding me of Nonon Jakuzure, or is it just me?
-
Wait Ghostface lost the twitter poll? Wow I am very surprised I thought he had it in the bag.
-
Trager for sure. He was actually evil and not just a tormented patient. Definitely the most creepy guy in the game.
(I've only played outlast 1 and its DLC)
-
Myla should be in triple S tier, but other than that, it's good.
-
Second Wind needs something more. If it actually comboed with Deliverance that would be cool. But I think reducing the heal requirement slightly would help.
-
I would love a Dead Rising chapter! Just imagine a two-level map on Wonderland Plaza or something, with a gen at the space rider.
-
A Big Daddy from the Bioshock series.
-
The Halloween outfit is probably my pick for the most scary Doctor items.
For the weapon, that's more of a style choice so I always use the baseball bat.

They've reviewed the game multiple times. A few places have started doing that with long running multiplayer games due to the constant balance changes and new content.
Ah, I see. I wonder if any classic games have been docked points for having discontinued features or online.
And I'm interested to know what scores DbD had in past years, if you have the data.
-
How did it take so long to get a review in the first place? I'd heard of Dead by Daylight for at least a year before I even played it the first time (in 2019). Not exactly the most low profile game, is featured in a lots of sales, etc.
-
I think that Meg is the best girl when you look at the lore, character, and flavor of the game.
Unfortunately, the actual players who play Meg almost never reflect this imo.
-
- Dwight
- Meg
- Claudette
- Jake
- David
- Nea
- Bill
- Feng
- Ace
- Yui
Killers:
- Trapper
- Hillbilly
- Wraith
- Clown
- Myers
- Leatherface
- Freddy
- Huntress
- The Pig
- Doctor
I feel like the OG and non licensed survivors are more important. For killers, I tried to keep the most iconic ones, not the best ones orm ost fun ones.
-
Hotline Miami.
It's essentially a dead game franchise, so Jacket appearing as a killer would be dope. The 80s aesthetic would be great in DbD too. They've already dabbled with it in the past a little bit.
-
did Open Handed even get its buff yet? I thought it was supposed to during the Twins chapter, but I guess not.
-
Pharmacy but for flashlights. That's all I want please add it as a perk.
-
Much harder. Killers would be able to throw on powerful hexes in addition to their current builds. And for facing survivors, hoo boy, you'd see stuff like BT or Unbreakable every single game. And other meta perks that regularly get used constantly.
-
I have yet to do this challenge, but why is the Empathy perk required? It seems conditional enough with healing 2 people out of dying state.
-
Well, we got a teaser video today, so I'll guess now. The Siren is what I predict the killer will be.
Even though I was betting that the teaser was for the survivor, I'll guess that just incase I'm wrong, and they might do a modern take on a siren.
-
Am I allowed to hold my answer until the teaser trailer? Because I'm betting that the DbD Twitter change is to tease the new survivor, not the killer.
Which would mean there's no info on the killer.

That's another thing I dont like either. Every Survivor has to be a cool or inspiring figure. They cant just be average random people anymore. It's not just the new survivors that fall victim to this either, due to the additional lore from the archives.
Yeah, I wasn't sure what to call it, aside from a power creep. For recent characters, I think Zarina is the most average, and before that was Jeff.
