I haven't had many good experiences with Mikaelas yet, most of them have been bad.
I think it's sort of like the Claudette selfcare syndrome, but Mikaelas prioritize setting boons or healing in the zone, even when it's not the best course of action.
-
The offerings/tangled hooks & gens are the most disappointing part for me. In years past, the Blighted Gens gave more points and the petals were easy to find in webs. This year, I've barely seen anybody use a cursed seed offering, because they're so hard to find in bloodwebs.
-
If it's like the Blighted hooks from years past, then you get a sum of points no matter what, and even more if you actually used an event offering that match.
-
The Rift recolors are actually pretty good for this Rift, the Midnight Grove challenges will reduce the grind which is welcome.
But it doesn't feel like Halloween. Especially since its so hard to find the offerings in webs and nobody's using them.
-
A pirate. Deathslinger should have been a pirate themed killer, in my opinion.
And also missing a robot/mechanical killer, that would be dope.
-
Dying and getting the most bloodpoints despite everyone else escaping is the most satisfying thing imo.
-
I hope Trapper moves up after the new patch goes live
-
They look like 3D models with weird lighting, and not actual portraits. I much prefer the consistency of all the older ones, even if their faces are now different.
-
Boon: true sight - combine every type of aura reading (except the killer's aura) and give it a big range, but it's tied to a totem.
-
Bye bye, Tampered Timer, I won't miss you.
Hopefully after this, y'all get more than 3 addons that affect crouch/ambush. Because that's what Pig players like more apparently.
-
Robot killer first please.
Just imagine a victorian-era automaton, would be super creepy. Or, maybe The Terminator or something.
-
Sometimes you just can't catch a break and you barely get to touch a gen for the entire match. I feel like once you hit the 8k points in Boldness, you should get a percentage of additional Boldness put into the 3 other categories.
-
it used to work with the old hex: undying to allow multiple uses of Haunted Grounds, but it doesn't anymore ever since the change to Undying.
-
Any Twins outfit
Most Plague outfits (though they do all look very similar)
Trapper with the welding mask, which is a shame because it's cool
Spirit with the recolors of default outfit, I only see schoolgirl and the robes
-
If you "just do bones" and you let's say you can only find 4/5 of them, then all you did was make NoED stronger. Not even counting the time it takes to find & cleanse totems, which can be a detriment if you're playing alone and the killer is already applying pressure, there's not always as much time for it.

And these are from the rift pass side of the rift, right?
Yes. Adam's is a recolor and Huntress' outfit was one of the main 3 from that Rift
-
The 1st Tome had:
"Finish Repairing 4 gens while using the perk Dark Sense" You only had to be on it as it completed, but being there for 4 gens popping is still pretty difficult without planning and a SWF
"Sacrifice 4 Survivors in the basement in 1 trial" this was before the DC penalty so if 1 person went to the basement, people would leave out of spite. It was annoying.

No

I feel like a few recent perks (starstruck, counterforce, resurgence) are actually really fun and remind me of the power that old perks got.

Survivors have tools to prevent NOED from activating. It’s their fault it goes off cause they don’t wanna use those tools or even totems.
If a killer happens to be facecamping, then there's rarely enough time to locate and destroy all 5 totems while completing all gens too. 1st hooked survivor will likely die, and then the killer will search for a 2nd surv and do it again. And that's probably gonna be before their NoED even activates.
-
There's plenty of games where the killer is already doing well, and the survivors barely complete the last gen, then get hit by a very frustrating noed that they couldn't afford to prevent earlier. Just the icing on the cake. I think some of Otz's noed games can show that scenario, he was even playing more reserved so he wouldn't 4k before the end.
There's also the facecamping kind, where a killer camps someone to death, and then gets another kill from noed, or maybe even more. Generally it's not engaging for anybody and feels even worse for the camped survivor.

Peak attractiveness

Jeff with a bathrobe, looking like Jeff "The Dude" Lebowski. It's perfect for him!
or a Jesus outfit or crown of thorns for Jeff, that would be really funny.
-
Playing the character at all is the legacy of it.
-
I am also curious about this. For most Steam games, they can still be played if you got it from a CD key.
-
idk about y'all, but the 1000 bloodpoints is more than enough incentive for me to do totems. I still have gripes with Noed but I'll usually do bones anyway.

I assume it was because those perks are teachables, so if you didn't spend the money to get them, it should be harder (and more rare) to have access to them. Plus other players who already own them (spent money on the chapter or got them in the Shrine) would throw a fit if newbies just had easy and instant access to them.
Bill, who was Steam exclusive for like 3.5 years had his perks on console versions, as base perks. Maybe the fact that they were paid is the difference, but it still doesn't make much sense to me.
-
Why were they put onto the shrine only instead of just being generic perks on bloodwebs?
Were they afraid of what would happen if every single player had access to Inner Strength from the start?
-
I guess we have to go back to the old-fashioned way: judging people's skills based on what skins they're wearing! /s
-
That title quote makes me realize how unique a Terminator chapter would be.
Anyway, what I do is dropping it and letting them see it on the ground (hoping they don't pick it up) Then again, if the killer is aware, better them than me to get targeted....
-
I feel like Red Herring could use a buff to select the generator you want.
Tag it like you would Blast Mine or Repressed Alliance, and then it makes the noise after you enter the locker.
Also, great story OP
-
Save the Best for Last is very good on Slinger. You can hit somebody, quickly wipe your weapon, and then follow up with an ADS and shoot the survivor.
-
Any of them created in the current year would probably all be outfits sold separately, unfortunately. I always liked the concept of the cases, since there were so few characters, they gave a little bit to everybody. I especially like the charity case, which used clever retextures of the default items and had a bunch of things.
That somber note aside, I always suggest that Jeff gets a outfit reminiscent of The Dude (technically 90s, but I think it could pass)
If Jeff got an outfit like this, it would be pure bliss.
-
- Rift Pass is $10 for everything, when they're sold a year later, they're each sold separately at full price
- As mentioned above, for a full year or more, you get to have them be "exclusive"
- There's a lot of individual recolor items from the Rifts that may never see the light of day again, just based on how slow they're trickling the outfits. (and Charms, but that's the less important factor)

Dude every FULL rift costume is set to come out. You guys still get rare single items that will prob never be in shop. Like Feng's " Game Over " skirt.
That's a great point. Some of those recolors are actually really nice and don't belong to complete outfits, meaning it's unlikely they'll ever get released.
Some examples include that purple shirt for Ace which is really nice, a couple of the David recolors, and the metacarpal saw recolor for Nurse
-
Because it can be used later, if you don't input anything it will save your skillcheck for next time you get unhooked and picked up. (if you even survive to that point) I actually utilized it that way a handful of times before.
Now that it's been nerfed significantly, I wouldn't even mind if it could activate and stun twice in one trial.
-
Ghostface is a considerably weaker Wraith currently, and GF only has like 4 or 5 good addons (his best being power recharge) I'd only recommend it you:
- Like memeing and using Ghostface's crouch to tbag with the survivors
- Want a little more of a challenge or slightly different way to do stealth
- Or just like ghostface or the Scream movies (technically it's a unique backstory unrelated to Scream though)
-
it's my 2nd most wanted license, I would support this
-
That's really odd that it hasn't been released yet especially since it's been over a year. Come to think of it, Huntress, Legion, and Dwight were the others featured in that Rift.
Did any of them get their outfits put into the store yet?
-
I'm kind of wishing it was an original chapter, tbh. We're long overdue for a pirate themed killer, or some kind of evil robot/AI.

Just let us sell back items and offerings that we don't want at half price. That would be enough. I have like 150 keys and 150 maps that I will never use unless I need them for a challenge. Don't get me started on the broken key or the stupid Stode Key that I keep getting on my killer in every other blood web.
Half the price? I'd sell them for something as small as10%! Because I'm never gonna use them anyway, selling them would be awesome.
-
I understand why people hate the Backwater Swamp, but I never thought it was that bad as either side. Survivors sometimes get unlucky and only have like 3 pallets, but at the same time, the rng of the dock and the lower floor of the grim pantry can be good for them.
That steamboat is a fun structure too, Pale Rose is a particularly more fun map of the 2.
-
Some of these might be a little picky, but here's some that I can think of:
Botany Knowledge: increasing by a whopping 11% per level, makes lvl. 3 great, and lvl. 1 just okay.
Ace in the Hole: the levels go 10/25/50% ######### that doesn't even match up!
Fast Track: getting 1 token instead of 3 really burns, so use it at level 3, if at all.
Hex: Third Seal: if it's not at max level, you can't even make every survivor blind which is bad
Hex: Ruin: while not useless, it increases by 50% per level, which is a LOT.
Blood Warden: at level 3, it's literally double the time compared to 1. Also the levels aren't even for some reason (30/40/60 sec.)
Spirit Fury: breaking 4 pallets at level 1 is a big cost to use it one time.
STBFL: using it at level 1 is pain
-
They are unfun for both sides. But I feel like they still have a purpose to stay for achievements, Tome Challenges, and just the fact that anyone can use them.
What I do think they should do, is make them cost much more bloodpoints, even if they're green items. That and make the Sacrificial Ward a common offering.
-
It works with any key. Aura reading is the way to go.
Maybe it became bugged? Because that's a challenge from an older Tome, isn't it?
-
People were criticizing the new Jeff outfit (for good reason), but I think that the bandanna is really great looking with other items.
-
i hope we get Jill wearing the beret. That would be a good outfit.
-
Because that's 4 experienced players, all using communication and organizing plays.
-
it feels like there's a 33% chance that any survivor might DC when they get downed/hooked first.
Way too high, and makes everyone else suffer
-
I think the bandanna is rad, and I bought that with some shards I had lying around. The rest of the Greek Legends Jeff outfit, I can't defend though. Just a rust colored leather jacket, as if we need more jackets.
I yearn for a Jeff outfit that references the Big Lebowski, like a bathrobe with some slippers.
