I made this in like 70 seconds using one of his official artworks, is this suitable?
-
When Victor is out and about, it feels the same as a cloaked wraith in pursuit. There's a chase going on, but nobody gets any chase points. Overall very unsatisfying especially from a survivor pov.
-
It's a pretty fun combo but I usually just have a good toolbox w/ Breakout then I can replace Saboteur with something else to suit the build. Like Dead Hard, Mettle, or Empathy to get into position.
P.S. you should review Red Herring next so that I can tell the killer that fish sent me :)
-
Postal Dude.
But is he a killer or a survivor?
-
Unfortunately not. I got like 4 Twins today because people were playing them for the Archive/Tome challenges.
They've pretty boring to face. You spend all game avoiding Victor, which gives you very little Boldness points. All the while, gens still fly by, but you don't feel involved because barely anybody is being hooked or chased like a standard killer.
Got slugged for a while, and finally got Unbreakable value, which only happens like every 1/20 games. But slugging isn't particularly fun.
-
I hope we can get individual representations in charms. It's still April, so perhaps we'll get more in June.
-
As a Bi dude, I'm a little bit disappointed he seems to be just gay (he's got an ex-girlfriend confirmed from a previous lore) NGL that probably would've made the difference of me starting to play David more or not. At least I can still imagine Jeff as whatever I wish.
But still a nice addition, even if it feels like the Soldier 76 route.
-
The Entity enjoys a bit of candy, and shares it with the killers, it seems.
-
All of them would be welcome. I'd say they should be skins on Bill though, not for the other survivors.
I'd buy a Coach skin in a heartbeat. Heck, maybe all of them.
-
Killer Klowns from Outer Space.
Pure 80's cheesiness, you'll probably laugh more than be scared, but that can be a good thing!
-
I've seen people mentioning Dead Hard ever since 2020. A few months or so after Balanced Landing got its nerf. There definitely has been a progressive increase in the topic though.
-
Yeah that would be an interaction. But, hemorrhage's big association is with Sloppy Butcher, and if you were hit by a basic attack, it wouldn't matter anyway.
(wait, i might be wrong actually. Doesn't it clear status effects after you're hooked and rescued? Or is that only Exhaustion?)
It's unlikely that you'd run into one of Freddy's dream snares while they're using the specific addon, or a killer just happens to be using Blood Echo. So all in all, it should be barely noticeable.
-
More snow stuff, please
-
I'm just here wondering if any exposed effect works, or if only marked survivors can't reveal you.
edit: my bad, I read a summary that only said "exposed survivors" but the actual page specifically mentions marked survivors
-
the trousers on the Bunny Feng outfit. I don't particularly play them, but I'm not a fan of the skirt and leggings color. Good thing it's not a linked set.
The Yun-Jin neon outfit. Yeah, it gets clowned on a lot, and it deserves it. But they're actually pretty good pieces individually. You just have to wear them with 2 other things that match, and don't actually mix the 3 pieces of the outfit.
-
Coulrophobia is pretty good when they're actually in the terror radius. It especially helps when somebody tries to revive a player from the dying state, and they can't make it, so now you get two downs.
What I think it needs, is a small-medium duration lingering effect even after they leave the heartbeat.

Devs already said they don´t remove perk tiers. (Q&A)
I hope their FINAL solution will be either a. unlock a teachable, unlock tier 1 for everyone else or b. 2 perks in the first nodes per web and 4 on the outer parts.
they said they won't remove perk tiers, but they should anyway :)
-
Removing perk tiers would be a step in the right direction.
But then there's still the issues of the metas requiring DLC characters or lots of low-use perks before a decent build can be scrapped together.

If you're relying on NOED to get 4Ks, you're probably in pretty low MMR.
It wouldn't result in much of a difference in terms of 4K, but changing it would completely gut endgame builds, so I'm against it.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2836938#Comment_2836938
It doesn't singlehandedly save the day if the killer only got two hooks all game... not unless your entire team throws themselves at the hook during the EGC, anyway, and in that case, it's your fault.
Leave NOED alone. It's only good for endgame builds (risky in the first place) and against bad survivors who throw them game because they figure there's no way they'll lose when five gens have been done.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2837149#Comment_2837149
Alerting survivors to its existence before a single hit would make NOED unusable. Incentivizing totem cleansing is a much better idea since there's currently no practical benefit to cleansing dull totems in order to prevent NOED. In many cases, survivors will memorize all the totems they have seen and immediately go cleanse NOED as soon as they realize you have it, so telling survivors that it exists the very second it arrives mean that killers wouldn't get kills running it most games, which isn't fair considering that you already have to use an entire perk slow for it.
Which is what survivors complaining about it want. They want it nerfed so hard that it's not functionally useful at all. They want it to be a waste of a perk slot even though it's already only good against people who play badly.
Alternatively, make it so that Undying doesn't activate until there's already a Hex totem on the field. That'll make dull totem cleansing more useful in general, protect NOED even if the game told you it exists as soon as it spawns, and then also serve as a soft nerf to NOED since it means you won't want to run other Hexes in the same buuild.
"Completely gut endgame builds" are some strong words.
Look at No Way Out. Its effects are minimal, but increase dramatically with everyone hooked at least once. I think everybody would agree that No Way Out is a perk that the killer earns. And, it's almost completely replaced the use of Remember Me (unless a killer is using both at once)
NoED could definitely have something like this, maybe the number of unique survivor hooks is the amount of Exposed hits you get, etc.
-
It's okay, you can just say you dislike NoED.
-
Ghostface - Medium
Their power in its description is fairly easy to understand. But there's also maneuvers that are slightly more advanced, like crouching, leaning, and saving stalk for later. Also the practice of abusing your Night Shroud as much as possible, like crouching to deny them while you still advance towards the survivor.
(hoping that the planned rework for him & legion will change both for the better)
-
A 1990s style comedy where The Pig and The Cenobite have to begrudgingly work together to please the Entity.
Amanda just kills the test subjects too soon, which clashes with Pinhead's desire to see suffering. They have to work together if they want to win the Entity's talent show.
-
Fun fact: my first thought at this was that they were teasing a Bioshock chapter for the anniversary, because of the ocean.
I know I'm jumping through hoops and they probably aren't but a man can dream :(
-
I'll equip some of those Master challenges from older Tomes and wish that I can complete them all on the first match.
Specifically that Clown one, and Escaping through the hatch while carrying a map
-
When I run STBFL, I don't mind BT, it's just like a free token! And then I can go right after the unhooker.
-
Something tells me Wraith. IDK why, it's just a strong hunch

I hate it as a survivor, but I would never consider running it as killer.
That's pretty much how I feel. My builds have precious space. But Fearmonger isn't an inherently bad perk, just can't compete with the others.
-
@RenRen said:
I don't really know how the community rates fearmonger but for me it definitely isn't a good perk. Exhaustion for 8 secs isn't enough. It can help stealth based killers in indoor maps but that's it. Also the blindness, while isn't useless, isn't what i call an effect that has a good effect. I feel like that they should just raise the exhaustion by 2 sec or just rework it.
Yeah it definitely can't compare to the current killer meta, but I'd argue it's in the top 3 for free killer perks. It would be appreciated if it got a few more seconds to its effects.
(unless you're on console and Hag is free to you)
-
@fulltonon said:
I feel fearmonger does HELP sprint burst more than harm them.
That could be the case, but 5 whole seconds of exhaustion is a far cry from the 99ing exhaustion strat. There are some exceptions, like if they get a high wall tile and can get away with walking mindgames, but they still run the risk of getting hit if they walk that much.

There are enough good meta perks that even if the killer had ten perk slots, I'd have a hard time choosing, so I get what you mean, but some builds have one perk that's maybe less required for synergy. If I'm running the trusty ol' Nurse's/HG/Ruin/Undying and I see four flashlights in the lobby, do I absolutely HAVE to have both Nurse's and HG? I'm going to get more out of Lightborn in that situation.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2828132#Comment_2828132
A lot of killers just seem to think it's bad because they can easily, consistently ignore flashlights, but I get more out of it than some meta perks depending on the situation.
I think a lot of survivors hate it just because they don't like to come up against it.
The key phrase there is "depending on the situation"
Like many have said, the situation doesn't present itself often enough for me to consider using it.
-
There's some potential there.
Blight serum, vile purge, they could even do a bloodpoint flavored one.
-
They should put Billy's roar on an addon, as another brown meme addon, or just for fun.
-
If the basement is not in the boiler room, then put a hook in the corner where the stairs entrance would have been.
-
To me, Eyrie of Crows is just Temple of Purgation but with a survivor sided main building.
-
Jill with the Beret
And every L4D survivor as a legendary skin for Bill (would adore having Coach as his own survivor though)
-
Calling it now, page 4 will have the challenge "Country Livin' " where you have to hit 2 survivors within a span of 30 seconds. They've already done Billy in the Tomes like twice, so they're kind of predictable

At this point I just wait for a "hook the obsession 12 times in a single match" challenge.
There was one from Level 2, which was 6 times total. I was actually able to get that in one match thanks to Furtive Chase. I was playing Huntress so I think I got zero value from the perk's actual function lol.
I they've definitely done that challenge before, but I think the highest number I've seen it go was 10 times (not in a single trial)
-
Legit, I think Jonah is the most uncommon survivor.
Amid the rarest, I'd say it's Jeff, Zarina, Laurie, Quentin, Tapp, and then Jonah
Even if we're adjusting the timeframe to be fair, since he was added most recently, I have still seen Jonah players the least since November when the chapter was released.
-
@evancalgary said:
i got 7 in my first game lol
And how about the large number of unhooking survivors? How many games did that take?
-
@bm33 said:
For the heal challenge healing yourself counts as "any survivor."
Maybe so, but 8 is still a pretty big number, and my points still stand for any survivors that aren't yourself. I hope Level 4 isn't too bad
-
And then they hit you with the "chainsaw 7 survivors in a single trial" challenge.
-
I just really want an new map with the Crotus Prenn style. It could be fitting for Twins or Blights, who never got maps.
-
Survivor interaction toggle a different option for *every action*
Specifically, unhooking teammates always felt right when you had to hold down the button. But I like gens & heals being 1 press of the button.
-
These days I only play when there's an event or active Rift, so I always get a nice 2 week break between those. Lately the space has been even longer than 2 weeks, so I'm actually excited to come back after a while not playing.
-
They still work, they're just not a 100% chance like the green offering is. And the fact you cannot find them anymore, so they're collectibles.

Useless adition to obscure the text as if you have deadhard and you are injured you know that the text says use E to dead hard 😅
i was thinking other stuff would be obscured too, like player icons or maybe status effects (except for blindness)
-
Is this suggestion comparable to the Clown's purple bottles? If so, I wouldn't want that on a status effect, seems annoying and possibly too much for some killers that can inflict blindness frequently with addons.
Obscuring the game's text would be a neat addition, if done right
-
Territorial: remove the cooldown
Monstrous Shrine: Flat-out make the self-unhook chance 0% would be funny. Make it a Scourge Hook perk. All basement hooks become Scourge Hooks. That way, you get 4 hooks plus the basement for your perk. I would see it as more of a utility/combo than a standalone scourge hook perk.
-
"Just do bones" in regards to countering NoED.
That's actually a worse method, not feasible in solo-Q. What you should do is not destroy totems, and then circle back to known locations after the exit gates are powered. knowing 3/5 is better odds than a 2/5 that you hadn't seen all game.
-
I wonder how big a part the Jar of Lips & Slippery Meat played. With 4 people using each, the % chance goes extremely high.
